Jamaah Al-Tawhid Wal-Jihad In Philippines Asked The World Mujahideen To Help The Jihad In Philippines

Lately, two videos issued by Jamaah Al-Tawhid wal-Jihad, a Filipino group was posted in Jihad al-Shumukh forum. In the first video that lasts three minutes, a man wearing a face covering and called himself Abu Jihad Al-Luzuni, accused America of occupying Philippines, carrying out torture and killing of Muslims. He continued to swear allegiance to the leader of Al-Qaeda, Sheikh Ayman az-Zawahiri and other affiliate groups of Al-Qaeda.

In the second recording, Abu Abdallah Al-Faris Al-Mulatham appealed to the Mujahideen worldwide to promptly provide assistance to the Muslim brothers in Philippines, whom he claimed to have been murdered and robbed by the invader America and to assist the Mujahideen there with money, reinforcement, knowledge and training.

Abu Abdallah also swore allegiance to the leaders of jihad all over the world, first and foremost to the leader of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Mullah Muhammad Omar and the leader of Al-Qaeda, Sheikh Ayman az-Zawahiri. This video lasts approximately 11 minutes, produced by Al-Yarmouk Media.

The followings are the main points from both videos. The video were released before the arrival of the U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to Philippines on an official visit, which lasted for a few days:

Abu Jihad Al-Luzini in the video posted on 7th November said that there is no way to restore the Islamic Khilafah and liberate the homeland from the kafireen except with the way of Jihad and the swords that are drawn in the cause of Allah.

Reading the writings in Arabic on a piece of paper in his hand, Abu Jihad asked all Muslims, wherever they are, to make the words of Allah Supreme, until the truth and justice are unconcealed and he said that the only way to achieve this is by implementing the Shari'ah of Allah. He stressed that the Muslim Ummah is currently in a state of humiliation, under the control of the enemies of Islam and that the Muslims must work together to save the Ummah from degradation and oppression.

Speaking on behalf of the Mujahideen of Philippines, Al-Luzuni said: “We, the youth of the ummah, from various tribes of the Philippines islands, are anxious to answer this divine call … in a framework to remove the grief and outrage from the hearts of the people who have faith (i.e. Muslims), and to defend the honour of our oppressed brothers and sisters, those who were killed and those who were exiled from their homes and their land which have been stolen… We urge you to help us and equip us with the way of jihad for the sake of Allah… because there is no way to restore the Islamic Khilafah and the glory of Islam, to repel the enemies of Islam, and to liberate our homeland from other kafir scums except by way of jihad and drawn swords for the sake of Allah.”

While Abu Abdullah started the video recording by stressing that Philippines had been the land of Islam from the days of old, and that although it had been conquered by various invaders throughout history, Muslims never surrendered to them. He accused America – which has “occupied” Philippines for more than 100 years – of torturing and killing Muslims, and seize their land, to the point of turning the Muslims to become the poorest people (in Philippines). He appealed to the Islamic Ummah so as not to sit idle, but to rise up and defend their religion, their lives, their honour, and their properties.

Abu Abdallah then swore allegiance to all leaders of the global Jihad, saying “We declare our loyalty to Allah, His Rasul, the believers and their imams today such as Mullah Umar, Sheikh Ayman Az-Zawahiri, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi al-Quraishi and the amir AQAP, AQIM, Mujahideen of Al-Shabaab in Somalia and other jihad fronts.”

He said that Islamic ummah will take over this world from America after losing the strength as a world superpower as evidenced by the losses they are experiencing in Afghanistan. He also pointed out the collapse of the US economy and the fall of the cruel rulers of the Arab countries, adding that the rulers of Yemen and Syria could be doomed like Moammar Qaddafi.

Abu Abdallah concluded by urging the Mujahideen all over the world to help their brethren in Philippines. “We really need you to send to us specialist in explosives and weapon manufacturing like our brothers in Iraq and Afghanistan… or give to us Lions (i.e. Mujahideen) to provide us trainings in shooting and insha Allah both we and You will get a place in the world to come.”

America's Economy Has Collapsed, No Need To Beg From America!

JAKARTA – Obama's second visit to Indonesia was assessed as having no benefit for the improvement of the economy of the Indonesian nation, because the American economy itself has collapsed. Thus, the arrival of Obama was only to help America's own economy.

Secretary General of the Islamic Ummah Forum (FUI) KH Muhammad Al-Khaththath assessed that the closeness of the relation with America is not beneficial for Indonesia, especially in the field of Economics.

“Obama comes to Indonesia not to strengthen the economy because his own economy has already collapsed. Therefore, actually he comes here only to help himself, by continuing to fool the Government of Indonesia, who voluntarily hand over the wealth of the Indonesian people to Obama,” he said to voa-islam.com. “This is certainly a betrayal and the people must not be silent!” he said.

In the same tone, the Community Coordinator of The Lovers of Shari'ah (MPS), Ustadz Nanang Prayudyanto asserted that America is already bankrupt and is now only waiting for its collapse. “Obama has already lost $ 3 trillions in Iraq and Afghanistan. So they are now bankrupt, it's just a matter of time,” he explained.

To cover up his bankruptcy, Ustadz Nanang revealed that , Obama attempts to squeeze out the wealth of Indonesia. “They will extort Indonesia through Freeport, while they are having a case in Freeport today, in fact it will be a failure. If they fail again to overcome the labour turbulence in Freeport, they will collapse,” he explained.

Due to that, he added, if we want to live in prosperity and success, the Indonesian nation must not beg from America. Asking for assistance from America is an illogical act, because the reality is that, Indonesia is far more wealthier than America. “We do not need to beg from America because the truth is that, we are richer than America. It is already a sunnatullah for them, we do not have to beg from them, we are richer than them, so dump them and repulse them outright!” he concluded.

A Short Story About Ukhuwwah‏

Quoting someone's comment on a Facebook group about Sheikh Ash Shaheed (kama nahsabuh) Usamah bin Ladin: “He was not pleased if there were ikhwah in his majelis who talked bad about Islamic jama'ah, or insulted them. He also did not allow in his majelis any discussion about disputes that happened among the Islamic jama'ah or the spreading of issues.”

He always said:

“There are more important and bigger things before us, and we are currently in a battle and war.”

If that happened and then there was an injustice, or things that need to be reminded to a particular jama'ah, and someone had conveyed it to him by saying:

“They are so and so, they do this and that,” then Sheikh Usamah would immediately cut him off: “Except those who have the rahmah (mercy) of Allah.”

“Illa Man Rahimahullah : Except those who have the rahmah of Allah” is a phrase used by the Arabs to express that not everyone is like that, or not everyone is like what you say, or to show that the people who are loved by Allah will not be like that.

Rahimallahu Shaikhana Abu Abdillah Usamah Bin Laden wa taqobbala minhu shahadatahu wa rafa’aahu fil Firdaus Al A’laa wa alhaqona bihi wa jami’is shuhada’i fi sabilihi.

One day Ustadz Abu Bakar Ba’asyir advised yours truly:

“Today, the gun muzzles of the enemies of Allah are already in front of our heads, if indeed the Muslims cannot unite, at least let us not show the divisions to the enemies of Islam which will only make them laugh happily witnessing us chiding each other..!!”

Ikhwah Fillah, no matter what differences we have, let us as much as possible remain looking after the akhlaq and adab as fellow Muslims. A Mujahid ikhwah reminded me:

“Those who have been placed by Allah in the fronts of death defending the izzah of Islam and the Muslims, in confrontation with the kuffar, do not think they could reach there before they have the credit points, in the form of:

أَذِلَّةٍ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَعِزَّةٍ عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ

“Humble toward the believers, powerful against the disbelievers.” (QS. Al Ma'idah : 54)

Thus, if in this cyberworld, the hardness and the sharpness of the tongues of some ikhwah, are still directed at the Muslim brothers and sisters.. then when will Allah make them reach:

يُجَاهِدُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ

“they are upon jihad in the cause of Allah”?

Allah Azza Wa Jalla says (meaning) :

“O you who have believed, whoever of you should revert from his religion - Allah will bring forth [in place of them] a people He will love and who will love Him [who are] humble toward the believers, powerful against the disbelievers; they strive in the cause of Allah and do not fear the blame of a critic. That is the favor of Allah ; He bestows it upon whom He wills. And Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing.”

“Your ally is none but Allah and [therefore] His Messenger and those who have believed - those who establish prayer and give zakah, and they bow [in worship].” “And whoever is an ally of Allah and His Messenger and those who have believed - indeed, the party of Allah - they will be the predominant.” (QS Al Ma'idah : 54 – 56)

“You will not find a people who believe in Allah and the Last Day having affection for those who oppose Allah and His Messenger, even if they were their fathers or their sons or their brothers or their kindred. Those - He has decreed within their hearts faith and supported them with spirit from Him. And We will admit them to gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally. Allah is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Him - those are the party of Allah . Unquestionably, the party of Allah - they are the successful.” (QS. Al Mujadilah : 22)

Allahumma allif bayna quluubinaa wa wahhid sufuufanaa

"O Allah fasten our hearts and unite our saff (ranks)..!!"

رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَإِسْرَافَنَا فِي أَمْرِنَا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانْصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ

"Our Lord, forgive us our sins and the excess [committed] in our affairs and plant firmly our feet and give us victory over the disbelieving people." (QS. Ali Imran : 147)

رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا وَلِإِخْوَانِنَا الَّذِينَ سَبَقُونَا بِالْإِيمَانِ وَلَا تَجْعَلْ فِي قُلُوبِنَا غِلًّا لِلَّذِينَ آَمَنُوا رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ رَءُوفٌ رَحِيمٌ

"Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith and put not in our hearts [any] resentment toward those who have believed. Our Lord, indeed You are Kind and Merciful." (QS. Al Hashr : 10)

Arroyo's Pathetic Destiny In The End, She Was Arrested For Fraud

MANILA – Former president of Philippines, Macapagal Arroyo have to face a pathetic destiny, she was arrested at a hospital in Manila on Friday (18/11/2011) on the charges of fraud in elections which entitled her for life imprisonment. Her arrest prevented her from leaving for overseas to receive medical care.

Arroyo herself denies having committed any offense and her lawyer claimed that the charges was made up. Ferdinand Topacio, Arroyo's lawyer said that the government has filed a lawsuit in a “hurried and indecent” way, in what he called “patterns that arise from abuse.”

The Filipino court issued an arrest warrant after the Electoral Commission filed charges against her.

For months, the speculation about Arroyo continued to rage in Philippines, she was accused of election fraud and embezzlement of funds. With the threat from the allegation, the government put her into the list of people who have to ask permission to leave the country.

But she was determined to make the journey to the airport, where in the photograph she was seen sitting in a wheelchair with a neck brace. She reportedly has a rare bone disease and in need of specialist treatment abroad. But the Filipino government thwarted her efforts to leave Philippines.

During her tenure as Philippine's number one, her policy after policy had always put into a corner the minority people in the Southern Philippines (Muslims – ed.). She did not allow the Muslims there to determine their our own destiny. Philippines occupied the islands in the Southern Philippine where a majority of the population are Muslims. Thousands of kafir troops were sent there to attack the Muslims who struggled to gain independence and establish the Islamic Shari'ah. They refuse to live under the rule of the Filipino government.

Those kafir military forces, those who were sent on the orders of Arroyo, burnt down civilian houses, Masjids and they also insulted Islam and the Muslims. They commited acts of terror every day and none of the international community, who always yell out the slogans of human rights, defended the Muslims there. There is no safe place for the Muslims in the southern Philippines. Their lands continued to be colonized and occupied, in the same way the land of Palestine continued to be occupied by the Israelis.

The Filipino government, which at that time was led by Arroyo, had tried to deceive the Bangsamoro community in her persistence to suppress the aspiration of the Moro people to manage their own lives based on what are written in the Qur’an.

Not only providing a false Regional Autonomy which was known as the “Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao”, the government in Manila also tried to deceive the MILF (Moro Islamic Liberation Front) by proposing peace negotiations. Whereas previously, the Filipino government had never demonstrated its implementation of the agreements with the Bangsamoro community, such as the Final Peace Agreement in 1996 with the MNLF (Moro National Liberation Front).

However, what was displayed by President Arroyo, the worries and frustrations, apparently did not give any emphasis on the peace process, in fact the government of Philippines continued to battle and attack the Bangsamoro.

The scenario that was shown at that time only provides heartbreaking memories and painful experiences for the Bangsamoro at the hand of the Filipino government under Arroyo. Coupled with the humiliations and the wounds, the dignity of Islam was even attacked, not only in the Philippines but all over the place on earth.

Immoral occupation: MTV Founder Sets Sights On Afghan TV

“All Americans ever see of Afghanistan is the brown mountains in the war footage and things getting blown up, but when you spend time at Tolo TV, you get a feeling of what this place could be.”

These are the words of MTV co-founder Tom Freston who has recently signed on as a board member and adviser with Moby Group which is considered as the largest Media Group in Afghanistan. In reality, it is a front for the US state department and various US based media organizations such as NewsCorp (owned by Rupert Murdoch), MTV networks and others for changing the Afghan psyche.

Since the beginning of the occupation of Afghanistan, the immoral occupying forces of ISAF have been relentlessly trying to undermine the strength of the Mujahid people of Afghanistan and dissipate their self awareness through countless diversions by stoking the desires of sexual organs which is a classical tactic of the forces of evil in the battle of heart and minds.

The enemies of Muslims have not even spared their own people from the filth of pornography, adultery, fornication, homosexuality and other form of perversions. This is the reality of freedom in the west and the oppression which their young men and women go through. Notwithstanding that the American dream has become x-rated; they make a lot of noise about their supposed values and moral high ground. It takes only a child to point out to the emperor that he is walking naked, while his friends make him think that he is wearing the most beautiful garments.

Therefore, it should not be surprising to know that the beacon of immorality, MTV is vigorously taking part in psychological operations of the Crusaders against the Muslims in Afghanistan.

It is operating in Afghanistan behind the mask of Tolo TV which is owned by Moby Group which was founded by Afghan entrepreneur Saad Mohseni and his family. The Mohsenis' father, Yassin, was a diplomat under the Daoud regime of the 1970s. When the Soviets invaded Afghanistan in 1979, Yassin Mohseni resigned as second-in-charge at Afghanistan's Tokyo embassy, and in 1982 the family, including the boys' sister, Wajma, now 30, and mother Safia, migrated to Australia. When the Taliban fell in late 2001, Saad was a stockbroker, Zaid a lawyer and Jahid a financial analyst. Saad Mohseni holds British citizenship also.

Tolo TV was first launched in Kabul but as of November 2007, has broadcasts in 14 cities in Afghanistan on free-to-air and throughout the region by satellite.

This was right after the military invasion of Afghanistan by the US and her allies. The military invasion was followed by a cultural invasion, the standard bearers being the NGOs and the so called aid agencies. Tolo TV’s initial startup costs were supported by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). Like Kabul's private FM station Radio Arman -- this also was created by Mohseni’s family with help from USAID. A portion of Moby’s advertising budget comes from foreign governments and N.G.O.s; recruitment ads for the Afghan Army and police are designed by Lapis, Moby’s ad agency, and paid for by the U.S. through the Afghan government. And the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) IS among Tolo’s top fifteen advertisers.

Without the U.S. government’s financing for infrastructure, Moby would not exist. The US State Department has budgeted seventy-two million dollars this fiscal year for “communications and public diplomacy” in Afghanistan – in other words, to use “soft power” for psychological occupation of the Muslim masses of Afghanistan and to salvage whatever they can in the face of humiliating defeat at the hands of the Mujahideen.

U.S. A.I.D. sponsors “On the Road,” a weekly reality show. The show, which airs Saturday nights on Tolo, is hosted by twenty-two-year-old named Mujeeb Arez, who travels through Afghanistan by jeep—often on highways freshly paved by U.S.A.I.D. funds—talking with residents and exploring local customs, delicacies, and indigenous commerce. In areas where it is too dangerous to travel by jeep, U.S.A.I.D. has supplied a helicopter to ferry the crew. The aim of the show: to project a positive image of the Occupation Forces.

Another such program beamed by Tolo TV is “Hop.” It is a nightly one-hour music video program. The format is similar to that of MTV – with an Afghan twist. It broadcasts songs of Idols of debauchery like Madonna and Jennifer Lopez. Music videos by Iranian, Turkish and Indian singers are also aired. The program is presented by two young males and a female. Their aim –

"By playing these songs, we would like to motivate our singers and actors to become famous like Western artists such as Ricky Martin and Jennifer Lopez,"

In other words, the aim is to change the role models for the Muslim youth of Afghanistan. Instead of righteous ones, the lowliest are being promoted (both are kuffar, Ricky Martin is a homosexual and Jennifer Lopez is not less than a prostitute).

Then they have two more programs which are directly funded by the US state department "Eagle Four” and "Birth of an Army". The former is a police drama pitting the cops against the Mujahideen and the latter is a “reality show” of the puppet army Vs the Mujahideen. The aim here is to galvanize the Afghans behind the corrupt puppet forces, create pleasant stereotypes of the otherwise hated puppets and hated stereotypes of the otherwise loved Mujahideen.

When the Rand Muslim Mohseni was confronted by complaints from Muslims in Kabul regarding the promotion of un-Islamic values, this is what he has to say:

"If the Afghans are ready or not, that is really up to the public to decide," he says. "It is not up to intellectuals and the academics and the so-called experts. If the public uses these programs with enthusiasm and they are popular, then obviously the public seems to be ready for these types of programs."

But in spite of all the efforts and money put into these corrupt programs, the reach of Tolo Tv remains confined to few urban centers only; and even after a decade under the occupation, the Jihad against the occupiers remains resilient. The main reason being the love of Islam in the hearts of the Muslims of Afghanistan. This is evident in the words of Abdul Rahman Faizi, a Kabul resident who said :

"Anything that is according to our Islamic Shariat is acceptable for us. But if it is not in Shari'a, people will have a hard time accepting it."

And following are the conclusions from the above analysis:

· Moby Group is a front organization for carrying out PSYOPS on the Muslims of Afghanistan.

· NGOs and so called aid organizations are tools of war as is evident from the operations of USAID. The Muslims shouldn’t have even an iota of sympathy for them and should support and encourage the Mujahideen to strike at them.

· The occupation of Afghanistan stands for immorality. The immorality is being exported from the countries of occupying forces to Muslim lands to dissipate their self awareness.

· A decade of psychological operations largely remains unsuccessful in changing the opinion about the occupying forces.

· The occupation relies primarily on Rand Muslims for doing their dirty work amidst Muslims. Without the backing of the ISAF, organizations like Moby group have no footing in Afghanistan. Moby group is one such organization. Other such groups need to be probed and exposed.

Allah says in the Qur’an:

“Verily, those who love that indecency should spread among the believers deserve a painful chastisement in the world and in the Hereafter. Allah knows, but you do not know.” [Surah Nur:19]

“Verily, those who disbelieve spend their wealth to hinder (men) from the path of Allaah, and so will they continue to spend it; but in the end it will become an anguish for them. Then they will be overcome. And those who disbelieve will be gathered unto Hell.” [al-Anfaal 8:36]

My friend (Mr. Ahmad Islam Jar) narrates this story referring to his aunt that in the Hazar Juft area of Helmand province, the Americans entered our house with a trained detective dog. They were fully armed with guns, pistols and hand grenades. No sooner did our own dog see the rival dog, he dashed him to the ground. The American tried their best to set their dog free but in vain. At last they killed the local dog and saved their one.

After that the American stood under a mulberry tree in great embarrassment. By chance at the same time two cats attacked each other after a long and frightful verbal dispute and fell over the invading soldiers. It increased their bewilderment.

In the meantime another soldier entered the chaff store room. A hen was there in a niche to hatch the eggs. The soldier was surprised to see the hen enraged. The soldier came near the hen slowly to see why it is not leaving the place and what is hidden under it. At last the hen was enraged, attacked the soldier and injured his forehead with its pointed beak. When the other Americans saw the bloodstained forehead of their comrade, they stopped the house search and left the house prating loudly.

A few months earlier in the capital city of this province Lashkarghah, a wonderful incident took place. An aged Afghan farmer was gossiping with two adults. They saw a British soldier who had remained behind because of fatigue or laziness. He was alone but fully equipped. When he came near, the Afghan farmer cried loudly, ‘Mine! Mine!’ The soldier lost his senses and fell down. The aged Afghan rushed towards him and kneed him in the abdomen. The two young Afghans, who were observing until that time also rushed towards the soldier and untied his knife. Then they removed his pistol, vest and other equipment. They locked him into a room. When his colleagues reached their base, they found one person missing.

By chance, the prime minister of that captive soldier, David Cameron had also come to visit the capital city of Helmand province, Lashkarghah. After some time the British troops started aerial and ground search operation for their missing partner. The Afghan farmer sensing the delicacy of the occasion; killed the soldier and threw his body in the nearby fields.

In the first incident you noticed that a soldier fully equipped with arms and ammunition, neither ambushed by Mujahideen nor any mine explosion, are frightened by small creatures like cats and hens.

In the second incident, we see that an empty handed Afghan farmer brought down fully armed soldier to the ground. These kinds of incidents show some of the vital facts that the so called intellectuals cannot see and observe. And even if they see it, they do not admit it either because of the enmity or because of the arrogance. Even in the beginning some of the analysts said that to confront the American super power by a few poorly armed Mujahideen is nothing more than throwing oneself into destruction. But the later incidents and developments have shown that if a nation refuses to submit against tyranny, no one can compel them by force. And that history has shown that most of the time, a small group having high morale and creed while striving for a sacred and just cause can change a super power (i.e. America and NATO) into cipher power. Need not to go too far; if one analyzes the present day battle of truth and falsehood in Afghanistan, it becomes quite clear that time after time, morale and spirituality has proven to be far more powerful than any weapon or material power of the world.

Leaders Who Do Not Apply Islamic Law Are A Source Of Disaster

Alhamdulillah, all praise be to Allah. Salawat and salam may be showered upon Rasulullah, his family and Sahabahs.

Indonesia is rich in natural wealth, but is also rich in a variety of disasters and conflicts. Just count them since the appointment of the current Indonesian president, how many big disasters have happened to this country. Not only those that afflict physically, the disaster of the aqeedah and akhlaq is also getting more rampant. The misguided ideologies of pluralism and secularism that deaden the hearts are also increasingly able to find a place. Splinter sects of Islam are also more protected. On the contrary, the da'wah movements for the establishment of the laws of Allah in the land of Indonesia are fought against and projected as a terrorist ideology. In fact, their notable figures are murdered, imprisoned and their good names smeared.

Famine and prolonged drought are two of the calamities that are currently threatening. Many people have trouble getting clean water that is fit to be consumed, used for shower and washing. The drought that causes crop failures have happened to thousands of hectares of rice fields in some areas. It had been told in the previous writing, “Prolonged Drought Due To Human Sin, What's The Solution?” that the withholding of the rainfall until famine and drought happen is the result of human sin. While humans are social creatures that live under one leadership/government that sets the rules for themselves. Whether the rule is good or bad, it will affect their righteousness. If the rules applied are not based on iman and not aimed at actualizing taqwa (piety), then the society would not be righteous. Not to mention if the rules legalize the munkar and protect it, then the society would be sinners. Hence, calamities and disasters will come down as a result of it.

Narrated from Ibnu Umar Radhiyallahu ‘Anhuma, he said : Rasulullah Sallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam once stood in front of us and then said:

يَا مَعْشَرَ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ خَمْسٌ إِذَا ابْتُلِيتُمْ بِهِنَّ وَأَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ أَنْ تُدْرِكُوهُنَّ لَمْ تَظْهَرْ الْفَاحِشَةُ فِي قَوْمٍ قَطُّ حَتَّى يُعْلِنُوا بِهَا إِلَّا فَشَا فِيهِمْ الطَّاعُونُ وَالْأَوْجَاعُ الَّتِي لَمْ تَكُنْ مَضَتْ فِي أَسْلَافِهِمْ الَّذِينَ مَضَوْا وَلَمْ يَنْقُصُوا الْمِكْيَالَ وَالْمِيزَانَ إِلَّا أُخِذُوا بِالسِّنِينَ وَشِدَّةِ الْمَئُونَةِ وَجَوْرِ السُّلْطَانِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَمْ يَمْنَعُوا زَكَاةَ أَمْوَالِهِمْ إِلَّا مُنِعُوا الْقَطْرَ مِنْ السَّمَاءِ وَلَوْلَا الْبَهَائِمُ لَمْ يُمْطَرُوا وَلَمْ يَنْقُضُوا عَهْدَ اللَّهِ وَعَهْدَ رَسُولِهِ إِلَّا سَلَّطَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ عَدُوًّا مِنْ غَيْرِهِمْ فَأَخَذُوا بَعْضَ مَا فِي أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا لَمْ تَحْكُمْ أَئِمَّتُهُمْ بِكِتَابِ اللَّهِ وَيَتَخَيَّرُوا مِمَّا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ إِلَّا جَعَلَ اللَّهُ بَأْسَهُمْ بَيْنَهُمْ

“O gentlemen Muhajireen, there are five things that if they happento you, and I seek refuge in Allah from you coming across them:

1. Indecency (such as zina, homosexual, murder, robbery, gambling, drunkenness, consumption of illicit drugs and others) does not spread in a people to the point that they do it in daylight, except that the disease of tha’un (a certain kind of Cholera) and hunger, that never existed on the previous generations, will spread in their midst.
2. They are not reducing the measurements and the scales except they shall be tormented with prolonged drought, difficult livelihood, and tyranny from their rulers.
3. They do not hold paying zakat except the rain from the sky will be withheld from them. And were it not for the animals, the humans will not be given the rain.
4. They do not violate the promise of Allah and His Rasul, except that Allah will make their enemies (from amongst the kuffar) reign over them, then they seize some of the wealth that they have.
5. And their leaders (the Muslims) do not follow the law of others besides the Kitabullah and select what Allah has sent down (Islamic Sha'riah), except that Allah will cast hostility amongst themselves.” (HR. Ibnu Majah and Al-Hakim with saheeh sanad).” (HR Ibnu Majah and made saheeh by Sheikh al Albani in as-Saheehah no. 106)

In the above hadith, tyranny by their rulers are mentioned as “a result of the society's evil.” However, at the end it was mentioned that the leaders who do not implement the Shari'ah will cause a rift and animosity in the society. Besides themselves being the result, they are also the cause. Because, evil deeds will not spread and be done in daylight in the midst of the society, if the leaders are firm in implementing the Islamic law. There will be no adulterers and prostitutes who advertise if the leaders implement the Islamic law in the form of flogging and stoning. Let alone the zina, all the means which lead to it will be banned. Unlike this country, prostitution are protected, legalized and localized in a place protected by the laws. Anyone who uphold the amar ma’ruf and nahi munkar there, are considered as committing crimes for violating the laws. In fact even its name is replaced with “Pekerja Seks Komersial” (PSK) or Commercial Sex Workers, as if it has become an official a means of living, in the same class as the construction workers, salesman, civil servants, etc.

Withholding and not paying zakat will not happen extensively if the government implements the Islamic law. Because their main interest i.e. establishing the law of Allah, will guide the society towards having taqwa and put in order the welfare of their world. However, if it is not the Islamic government that are in control and it is not the Islamic law that is implemented, managing zakat is not a part of their interest. If there is anyone who withholds and does not pay it, it is not a violation, but on the other hand if anyone does not pay the tax, then it is considered as a violation. Whereas, taxes are not known and not obligatory for the Muslims, unless they live under the authority which is other than their own.

Reasons For The Barakah (Blessings) To Come

Indeed, Allah will send down barakah for the inhabitants of the land if they uphold iman and taqwa. Including conforming the contents of the religion of Allah and applying it in the midst of the society. The objective is, so that they are right in giving worship to their true Creator, namely Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala.

وَلَوْ أَنَّ أَهْلَ الْقُرَى آَمَنُوا وَاتَّقَوْا لَفَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ بَرَكَاتٍ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَلَكِنْ كَذَّبُوا فَأَخَذْنَاهُمْ بِمَا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَ

“And if only the people of the cities had believed and feared Allah , We would have opened upon them blessings from the heaven and the earth; but they denied [the messengers], so We seized them for what they were earning.” (QS. Al-A’raf: 96)

The above verse explains that, if the inhabitants of the lands or cities believe with true iman in their hearts, as evidenced by their deeds, surely Allah will open the blessings from the heavens and the earth. Namely, by commanding the sky to send down heavy rain and regenerate plants from the earth for their subsistence, as well as for the animals.

The form of this iman is, truly believing in the teachings of Islam that was conveyed by Rasulullah Sallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam, being submissive and obedient to it. And then they have taqwa to Allah Ta’ala, both outwardly and in their inner self, by performing obediences and keeping away from what Allah forbids.

On the other hand, if the people of a country disbelieve in Allah and His Rasul, deny His religion, refuse to submit, obey and have taqwa to Him, surely Allah will punish them with the removal of the barakah, the sending down of musibah (misfortunes), calamities and various fitnah as a consequence of some of their sins.

Allah told us about the country of Saba’ which was fertile and rich in its natural potency:

“There was for [the tribe of] Saba' in their dwelling place a sign: two [fields of] gardens on the right and on the left. [They were told], "Eat from the provisions of your Lord and be grateful to Him. A good land [have you], and a forgiving Lord. But they turned away [refusing], so We sent upon them the flood of the dam, and We replaced their two [fields of] gardens with gardens of bitter fruit, tamarisks and something of sparse lote trees. [By] that We repaid them because they disbelieved. And do We [thus] repay except the ungrateful?” (QS. Saba’: 15-17)

The Urgency Of An Islamic Leadership

Indeed, leadership is very important. Islam also pays very big attention to it. In fact, it is even included as the biggest part of the objectives and obligations that are to be actualized by religion. Where its function is as a replacement for the prophetic role in maintaining this dien and regulating the world. To the point that the Muslims must appoint a imam who regulates them with the Kitabullah (Islamic Sha'riah), such as in His verse:

إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَأْمُرُكُمْ أَنْ تُؤَدُّوا الْأَمَانَاتِ إِلَى أَهْلِهَا

“Indeed, Allah commands you to render trusts to whom they are due.” (QS. Al-Nisa’: 58)

The context of this verse is that, the khitab (percipient) in the verse is general in nature, which requires them to perform a variety of amanah (trust), which includes the amanah of legislating. The Muslims are obliged to carry out this amanah and give it to those experts who will establish it correctly.

Indeed, many Shari'ah obligations cannot be realized without the existence of an Islamic rule, such as the establishment of hudud and implementing the Islamic law, guarding the border, preparing and sending troops, maintaining the security, appointing of judges and others. Any obligation cannot be complete except with its existence, it thus becomes mandatory, especially in terms of its urgency to prevent serious danger that occurs amidst the chaos and the non-establishment of the Islam rule, so the commandment to actualize an Islamic leadership becomes very mandatory. The actualization of it becomes the most urgent requirement of Shari'ah. Due to that, there is no excuse to abandon and underestimate this obligation.

Why We Should Do Jihad?

A simple treatise that explains a little about the reasons why we must conduct Jihad where I have quoted the daleels from several books (especially the treatise written by a Shuhada’ in the land of Indonesia, “Why I Chose This Path”)… as a hujjah for my brothers Mjahideen fie sabilillah (be patient, may Allah make you patient, indeed this is the path traversed by the salafus solih.. the path of Jihad) and as a bayan (lecture) for those who are still left behind from Jihad.

1. Fulfilling The Call Of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala

Ikhwatiy fillah… listen to this verse of Allah Ta’ala;

“O you who have believed, what is [the matter] with you that, when you are told to go forth (to fight) in the cause of Allah, you adhere heavily to the earth?…..” (QS. At-Tawbah : 38)

These are the words of our Rabb (Lord), the Rabb Who rules over ourselves and all the worlds, Who commands us to go forth for Jihad in His cause. Shouldn't we fulfill His call?

Allah further says:

“Go forth, whether light or heavy, and do Jihad with your wealth and your lives in the cause of Allah. That is better for you, if you only knew.” (At-Tawbah : 41)

To whom is the call in this verse addressed? Of course, to the human race who believe in Him! Therefore, whoever believes in Him has no right to abandon this call, except those who have udzur shar’ie (valid exemption).

Yes, depart for Jihad, whether we are in a spacious or narrow circumstance, whether we are poor or rich, riding on a transportation or walking, married with a family or still single, working or being unemployed, in the framework of fulfilling this call of Allah Ta’ala. Hasn't Jihad today become fardhu ‘ain?

Could we not reflect on Abu Thalhah, in his old age (+-80 years), when responding to the verse, he insisted to take part in Jihad. When his children tried to stop him as he was considered amongst those given the udzur, he remained adamant in his stance. And it turned out that Allah granted him Shaheed at sea. Then what about us who are still young and strong? Is there anyone who wants to take lesson?

2. Fearing The Threat Of Hell Fire

“If you do not go forth, He will punish you with a painful punishment and will replace you with another people, and you will not harm Him at all. And Allah is over all things competent.” (At-Tawbah : 39)

Ibnu Al-‘arabiy said: “The grievous punishment in the world is the reign of the enemies over us and in the hereafter is the fire of hell.” (Tafseer Al Qurthuby 8/142).

Allah has given a threat to those who abandon Jihad without udzur shar’ie, in the world and the hereafter. Indeed, Allah's punishment is very painful and we will not be able to bear it. Then, why didn't we perform this obligation so that Allah will be pleased with us and keep us away from the torment of hell?

So, get rid of the love of the world, that causes us to fear death, which makes us reluctant to conduct Jihad… then fulfill this noble call from our Rabb.

“O you who have believed, respond to Allah and to the Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life.…” (Al-Anfal : 24)

3. Defending and Protecting The Muslims

"And what is [the matter] with you that you fight not in the cause of Allah and [for] the oppressed among men, women, and children who say, 'Our Lord, take us out of this city of oppressive people and appoint for us from Yourself a protector and appoint for us from Yourself a helper?'" (An-Nisa : 75)

Ikhwatiy fillah, this is Jihad, the Jihad that is established to resist oppression, to protect and liberate the Muslims from the ruthlessness of the enemies of Allah.

Today, how many million bloods of the Muslims have been shed by the kuffar, thawaghit and munaafiquun?

How much honours of our Muslimahs have been defiled by the enemies of Allah?

And how many of our ikhwahs and friends are still in captivity and under torture?

Don't we see what is happening in Palestine, Afghanistan, Iraq, Chechnya, Somalia, Philippines and a line of other Jihad lands?

Aren't they our brothers?

“The believers are but brothers…” (Al-Hujurat: 10)

Indeed the bodies of the Muslims are being torn apart, becoming the meals of the kafir wolves. Will we remain silent?

Haven't you read the utterance of our Prophet salallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam:

“The loss of the world is lighter at the sight of Allah than the killing of a Muslim.” (see tafseer Ibnu Katsir I/534)

“If the inhabitants of heaven and earth come together to kill a Muslim, Allah will turn back all of their faces towards the hell of jahannam” (HR. Ath-Thabrani in As-Saghir)

It has become the consensus of the ulama’s that if a Muslimah is in captivity and treated unjustly, then it is compulsory upon the Muslims to defend her and at that time Jihad has become fardhu ‘ain. That said, what do you think of our condition today??

4. Following The Steps Of The Salafus Solih

These are our predecessors, the Salaful ummah, where their life was never separated from the activity of Jihad fie sabilillah! They were not only busy with the book and da'wah, but look at Rasulullah –the supreme commander of the Islamic ummah– he had taken part in Jihad for approximately 27 times in his lifetime, i.e. in Madinah (in 10 years!)

At-Thabary narrated that Miqdad bin Al-Aswad was seen at a place where money was exchanged in Emessa. At that time, he leaned his very fat body against a table.
Someone who saw him said to him: “Allah Ta’ala has forgiven you (for not conducting Jihad)”. Hearing that statement he said: “The verse which orders us to fight has come down. Allah Ta’ala says: “whether light or heavy.”

Az-Zuhri said: “Said bin al-Mushayyib departed for Jihad, whereas he was person whose one eye was blind, thus someone said to him; 'You are a disabled.' But Sa’id said: 'Allah Ta'ala commands us to depart in a state of light or heavy, if I am not able to fight at least I will add to your numbers and can be tasked to look after the equipments.'”

Indeed, their heroic defense of Islam is like no other. Don't we want to be like them?
The same with Umar Mukhtar, where Commander Giransiyani commented; “He had plunged into 263 battles, confronting my forces for more than 20 months. The total number of battles he operated was 1,000 times.”

So was Muhammad Banna, one of the Afghan Mujahideens, he told that his forces had destroyed 400 military vehicles of the Soviet Union. The Russians called him “The General”. He had robbed 200 Kalakovs and 200 AK47's, Klasinkovs, he had also destroyed 150 tanks of the enemies in a single battle.

Subhanallaah… Laa hawla wa laa quwwata illaa billaah, truly heroic are the humans who have truly received the gifts and help from Allah Ta’ala, that they could do such things, yes… they were helped by Allah Ta’ala because they have helped the religion of Allah.

They have sold their soul which is the most precious possession of the humans and Allah Ta’ala has thus purchased it, indeed Allah never once breaks His promises;
“Indeed, Allah has purchased from the believers their lives and their properties [in exchange] for that they will have Paradise. They fight in the cause of Allah , so they kill and are killed.…” (At-Tawbah : 111)

Therefore, it is so unfortunate and woeful when mankind choose to be reticent more than to go forth for Jihad and feel themselves having udzur, whereas, they do not have it.

5. Jihad Is The Shield Of The Honour Of The Ummah, By Which The Attacks Of The Kafir Could Be Resisted

Indeed, the Islamic Ummah is a Jihadi Ummah where life could not be separated from the Jihad. It is this Jihad which is the shield of the Ummah, which will preserve and protect their honours from the hand of the kuffar. So what if we have abandoned it?

Rasulullah (SAW) said: “When you enter into the ‘aynah transaction, hold the tails of oxen, are content with farming, and give up jihad, Allaah will cause humiliation to prevail over you, and will not withdraw it until you return to your commitment to Islam.” Narrated by Abu Dawood, 2956; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh Abi Dawood.

[Translator’s note: ‘Aynah transaction means to sell a product for a known price with deferred payment and then buy it back from the purchaser for a lesser price, so the purchaser will still have to pay the difference in the future]

Indeed, the humiliation faced by the Muslims will never ever be removed by Allah Ta’ala until we free ourselves from humiliation by conducting Jihad!

And it is with this Jihad that Allah will resist the attacks of the kafir. Reflect in these verses of Allah:

“So fight in the cause of Allah ; you are not held responsible except for yourself. And encourage the believers [to join you] that perhaps Allah will restrain the [military] might of those who disbelieve. And Allah is greater in might and stronger in punishment.” (An-Nisa’: 84)

“Fight them; Allah will punish them by your hands and will disgrace them and give you victory over them and satisfy the breasts of a believing people.” (At-Tawbah : 14)

6. Jihad Is The Highest Deed and A Wasilah In Order To Obtain Shaheed In His Cause

“The principal of 'amal is Islam and the pillar is Solat, and the peak is Jihad fie sabilillaah.” (HR. Ahmad, from Mu’adz bin Jabal).

This is Jihad, the highest ibaadah to Allah, in which there is no other deed that can be compared to it.

And indeed, ikhwatiy fillah, we truly long for Shaheed, just as the generation before us had longed for it.

“And never think of those who have been killed in the cause of Allah as dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision.” ('Āli `Imrān : 169)

Is there any other death more pleasant than the death of Shaheed? Hasn't Allah promised rewards for them who have died Shaheed in His cause with a great reward?

Let's reflect on a hadith narrated by Imam Ahmad and At-Tirmidzi from Miqdad bin Ma’d, that Rasulullah (SAW) said:

“For the Shaheed in the Divine presence there will be six qualities: [1] he will be forgiven from the first moment his blood is spilled; [2] he shall see his seat in Paradise and be protected against the punishment of the grave; [3] he shall be safe from the Greatest Terror [the rising of the dead]; [4] he shall be crowned with the diadem of dignity, one ruby of which is worth more than the entire world and its contents; [5] he shall be coupled with seventy-two spouses from the wide-eyed maidens of Paradise; and [6] he shall be granted to intercede for seventy of his relatives.” HR Ahmad and al-Tirmidhi (see saheeh al-jami’ no. 5058).

Ikhwatiy fillah, this is Jihad, if we die in it, then that is Shaheed biidznillah insyaAllah, if we are expelled then that is Siyahah (Excursion), if we are imprisoned then the prison is a place for us to do Khalwat (Close Proximity) with Allah Ta’ala.

This is Jihad, with it Allah Ta’ala makes this ummah lofty.

This is Jihad, with it Allah Ta’ala opens the door of akhirah, it brings in the honour to be together with the anbiya’, saddiqiin and solihiin…

This is Jihad…

Is there any of us who have fulfilled it?

Know that by only dreaming of doing Jihad is not enough, it only removes the trait of nifaq within one's self, but if one still has not conducted Jihad then he remains sinful because Jihad is an obligation that must be fulfilled, will we keep silent without I’dad?

Indeed, the confirmation of an ambition is a deed that is evident, i.e. if we're truly honest, honest to Allah and true to ourselves.

An Advice For The People Of Sham: “For When You Have Entered It, You Will Be Predominant”

TRIPOLI – Through the facebook social network, Sheikh Umar Bakri Muhammad conveyed a message or advice for the people of Sham. An ikhwan has translated that advice from the Arabic language. The following is the detailed, may it be useful!

I am telling you, when the Prophet of Allah Musa Alaihis Sola Was Salam and his army attacked Palestine, many particular persons from among the people who were defeated mentally, al-qoidun and unrighteous people were reluctant to participate and it was very unfortunate that they said:

إِنَّا لَنْ نَدْخُلَهَا حَتَّى يَخْرُجُوا مِنْهَا فَإنْ يَخْرُجُوا مِنْهَا فَإنَّا دَاخِلُونَ . قَالَ رَجُلاَنِ مِنَ الَّذِينَ يَخَافُونَ أَنْعَمَ اللّهُ عَلَيْهِمَا ادْخُلُواْ عَلَيْهِمُ الْبَابَ فَإِذَا دَخَلْتُمُوهُ فَإِنَّكُمْ غَالِبُونَ وَعَلَى اللّهِ فَتَوَكَّلُواْ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ

“Indeed, we will never enter it until they leave it; but if they leave it, then we will enter. Said two men from those who feared [to disobey] upon whom Allah had bestowed favor: 'Enter upon them through the gate, FOR WHEN YOU HAVE ENTERED IT, YOU WILL BE PREDOMINANT. And upon Allah rely, if you should be believers.'” (QS Al-Maidah[5]-22-23).

Subhanallah, a community of people that is filled with brave men, strong leaders, world-class personages and notable figures. No one spoke except for only two persons! And does this make sense, that it turns out that this large potential is the inhabitants of Sham in Syria. They do not have a small group like these two people.

: { قَالَ رَجُلاَنِ مِنَ الَّذِينَ يَخَافُونَ أَنْعَمَ اللّهُ عَلَيْهِمَا ادْخُلُواْ عَلَيْهِمُ الْبَابَ }،

“Said two men from those who feared [to disobey] upon whom Allah had bestowed favor: 'Enter upon them through the gate, FOR WHEN YOU HAVE ENTERED IT, YOU WILL BE PREDOMINANT.'”

Yes, just by starting a little of the initial planning and opening the doors of opportunity to jihad, even just by starting a blow, the initial strike in the cause of Allah, even just by entering the gateway.

{فَإِذَا دَخَلْتُمُوهُ فَإِنَّكُمْ غَالِبُونَ}،

“Enter upon them through the gate, FOR WHEN YOU HAVE ENTERED IT, YOU WILL BE PREDOMINANT”

Yes, O beloved people,…. but on condition of having the tawakkal.

{وَعَلَى اللَّهِ فَتَوَكَّلُوا إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ}

and have taqwa to Allah alone, if you are truly a believing people.

The kafir regime of ba’ats in Syria would not deem it a significant interference if only with a peaceful demonstration, but the demonstration must be coupled with the actions of the Lions of Tawheed and Jihad fie Sabilillah.

Innalillahi, Ahmadinejad Insulted Two Sahabahs Of Rasulullah (SAW)!

IRAN – Amid the euphoria of victory in the Iranian election which has just been held, Ahmadinejad earlier on issued a statement which was patently insulting two Sahabahs of Rasulullah Muhammad (SAW).

What's even crazier, the censure and insult from Ahmadinejad was delivered live in a television program, on Shabaka 3, an Iranian television channel, only a few days before the election was held in Iran.

As is known, this Shiite-based Iran —one of the sects in Islam that is considered deviant— have long constricted the liberty of the jama'ah of ahli Sunnah (the Sunni's). Under the leadership of Ahmadinejad, in fact the Sunni are suffering woes like they have never experienced before since the Revolution of the Rafidi Khomeini.

In that event, Ahmadinejad bluntly said that Talhah and Zubair are both traitors. “Talhah and Zubair are two companions of Rasulullah (SAW), but after the departure of Rasulullah (SAW), they both returned to the previous teachings and followed Muawiyah!”

Whereas in history, Talhah and Zubair, the two Sahabahs of Rasulullah (SAW), never fought along with Muawiyah, because they both died long before the battle of Jamal in the 36th year of the Khilafah Islamiyah when Muawiyah became its king.

It is clear where Ahmadinejad's statement would lead to, namely to make a comparison between the Sahabahs of Rasulullah (SAW) in the past and the current political events in Iran—interrelated with his rival, Mousavi. Earlier, Ahmadinejad has very often insulted around 15 milions Sunni adherents in Iran. In fact, Ahmadinejad's predecessor, Rafidi insulted and belittled the 90% Muslims all over the world.

However, there are still many parties or admirers of the Rafidi and other deniers of the Sahabahs of Rasulullah (SAW), such as this Ahmadinejad. They are the people who are unaware of the Shiah movement or those who do not want to understand this regime of the 12 Imams, which is an open enemy of the Sahabahs of Rasulullah (SAW).

Subhanallah!! A Radical Jew Repented, Excited To See The Establishment Of A Khilafah

PALESTINE – Mikhail Chernovska was an Extremist Jew who had declared his Islam, as well as expressed his enthusiasm to see the establishment of the Khilafah Islamiyyah, with Al-Quds as its capital. “Indeed, I have received guidance. The reason is only one, because I wanted to find the truth,” Mikhail said. This was conveyed by the Harakatut Tauhid Al-Islamy website, Tuesday 8th November 2011.

Mikhail has Muhammad Al-Mahdi as his hijrah (migrated) name, similar to the name of an imam in the end times who was promised by Rasulullah SAW, who will bring justice by establishing Dienullah on earth. Mahdi is a Jew who came from Azerberijan and later migrated to Palestine after he embraced Islam.

Mahdi's residence right now is in the West Bank city of Hebron. He was born in Baku, Azerbeijan 37 years ago. This man from Azerbeijan lived in the midst of an extreme family. He migrated to Israel in the early 90's.

Hebron is the site of the massacre by a Jewish radical, Baruch Goldstein, in the cave of the ancestors. At that time, around 29 Muslims were affected from the massacre. Thus, in conformity with that, Mahdi decided to moved to the Kiryat Arba settlement, where he lived with his hero according to his view at that time, Goldstein, and joined the extremist settlers.

He added that a discussion on religion and philosophy with a Palestinian who owns a garage for car repairs in Hebron, made him review his view gradually, until he embraced Islam and return to Baku in order to marry a Muslimah. Mahdi told that he received a warm welcome from his neighbours in Hebron, although his blood is Jewish.

Muhammad Al-Mahdi told the AFP correspondent when visited at home, “I used to be an extremist settler and hostile to them, but they treat me like they are a brother to me and they always offer assistance.” The fact that points to Mahdi's life in Kiryat Arba, is as if unimaginable, after he converted to Islam and married a Muslimah, Sabina, who now have given birth to 4 children after living with him. “The settlers attacked me several times, and threw stones at my house, and wrote slogans on the wall inviting me to leave the place,” said this 37-year old man.

He added, “wherever we go we are being abused, as my wife wears jilbab, and she is repeatedly questioned by the security forces, but all I care is that my kids today are Muslims, and following the religion that I have chosen.” He is very excited to see the Khilafah Islamiyyah established with Al-Quds as its capital.

He asserted: “I realized that there are many contradictions in the Jewish religion, and that Islam is a religion of wisdom and truth, I have received guidance because I was seeking for the truth, that's the only cause of me becoming Muslim,” said Al-Mahdi, while acknowledging the kindness of his friend Zalloum, the garage owner, who had become the reason he received hidayah.

Zalloum admitted that from the beginning he knew Mikhail, what appeared in his perception was that Mikhail is a good person, unlike most of the settlers in Kiryat Arba. He often had a dialogue with Mikhail on issues of religion and philosophy, until one day he said to Mikhail: “If it's not me who becomes a Jew through you, you'll be the one who embraces Islam through me, after six months of discussion, finally he received the hidayah to embrace Islam,” revealed Zalloum.

Zalloum added: “It's true that Mikhail has become Muhammad al-Mahdi, but he could not let go of all the Jewish culture, the Star of David Fusm on one of his hands would always remind him that he is a Jew, although he carries on the day with demonstrated achievements, from punctual obligatory prayers to reading Al-Qur'an.”

American Drone Attacks Must Be Stopped!

LONDON - One of the lawyers of the international human rights body, Clive Stafford Smith, claimed to feel touched by the action taken by a 16-year old teenager who tried to attract his attention to the killing of civilians by the American drones in Pakistan, Reuters reported on Tuesday (8/11/2011).

Tariq Aziz late last month voluntarily carried a number of photographs of the citizens who were killed by the killing machines. Aziz wants Smith to highlight the illegal killings.

Three days later, on 31st October, he and his cousin who was only 12-years old were killed by rocket attacks from the American drone in Northern Waziristan, Smith said.

For a man who is a veteran attorney, the deaths underscored the flawed drone operations launched by the CIA which was always given the pretext of war against terror.

“What they have done to Tariq was so repugnant,” he sighed to Reuters through a telephone connection.

Stafford Smith is one of the few names that appeared and defended the prisoners in American prisons including in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

According to Smith, this drone attack is as despicable as the brutal bombings carried out by America in Cambodia during the Vietnam War.

Eight tribal elders, and Aziz, had earlier met Smith and other lawyers in the capital of Pakistan, Islamabad, to convey their grievances over the American drones that are growing in numbers every day.

“What we are witnessing in Waziristan is a process to alienate the people as they did in vietnam,” Smith revealed.

Tausiyah 'Eidul Adha From Ustadz Ba'asyir: Follow The Millah Ibrahim, Strengthen Al-Wala Wal-Baro'

JAKARTA – This year, Ustadz Abu Bakar Ba’asyir was again prohibited from performing the 'Eidul Adha prayer in the open space outside the cell.

Thus the Amir of Jama’ah Ansarut Tauhid (JAT) was unable to give a sermon in front of the thousands of Muslims as in previous years. As an alternativea, this elderly ulama' passed on an 'Eidul Adha tausiyah to the millions of Muslims through voa-islam.com.

This tausiyah was delivered by Ustadz Abu on Friday (4/11/2011) to be uploaded coinciding with the big feast of 'Eidul Adha 1432, Sunday (6/11/2011). The following is his full tausiyah from the cell of the Police HQ's Bareskrim:

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim...

This 'Eidul Adha is closely related with the Qurban in the history of Prophet Ibrahim 'alaihissalam. This 'Eidul Adha emphasizes to us the command to follow the Millah Ibrahim as He says :

"Then We revealed to you, [O Muhammad], to follow the Millah Ibrahim, a hanif…" (Qs. An-Nahl 123).

What is Millah Ibrahim? These two words are usually translated into the Religion of Ibrahim. The true meaning is, Millah Ibrahim is the attitude of Nabiyullah in having the religion, namely: al-wala and al-baro. We were asked to follow these two principles.

THE WALA’ (LOYALTY) OF PROPHET IBRAHIM

The technical term of the Wala’ of Prophet Ibrahim is a loyalty that is steady. So if it is steady, there is no more thought and calculation of the world. As long as there is ability, it must be practiced!

First example, when Prophet Ibrahim married for the second time and then was granted with the first child, Ismail.

When his son was born, Prophet Ibrahim was commanded by Allah so that he leave the mother (her wife Hajar - ed.) along with her small child in the desert. According to common sense, Ismail would have surely died because there was no water nor vegetation in the desert. To be thought over with the mind would make one stressed. But Prophet Ibrahim was “sami’na wa atho’na” (we hear and we obey).

When that of her son was in thirst, she was running here and there to look for water, that's what become the ibaadah of sa’i. In the end, with the movement of the feet of Prophet Ismail, there appeared what now becomes the sources of the Zamzam well and it became a prosperous place, many people came to visit there until it turned into Masjidil Haram to these days.

That was the wala’ of Prophet Ibrahim. Although according to calculations when the command was given, death was imminent. But due to the command of Allah, then with the sami’na wa atho’na there should be no consideration of any kind as long as there is capability.

A second example, when Ismail grew up, he helped his father building the Ka’bah. Imagine, a father who was already old and only had one child, a very attractive child, going to become a Prophet, but the command of Allah came down: “Slaughter you son..!”

If thought over with the common sense, he could be sressed for the second time. But Prophet Ibrahim had an attitude of being submissive to the command of Allah, sami’na wa atho’na.

Then, he said to his son, “O my child, I am receiving this command, I am commanded to slaughter you.”

What did Ismail say? “Do it O my father, I will be patient.” This is the wala’ that must be emulated by the Muslims which has its connection with the 'Eidul Adha.

So if we already hear the command of Allah or the law of Allah, so our attitude must be “sami’na wa atho’na.” Let there be no reconsideration of any kind, because the law of Allah has to be the best. If we are able, we must do it, but if we are unable, yes, just do to the best of our ability.

THE BARO’ (ANTI-LOYALTY) OF PROPHET IBRAHIM

The baro’ of Prophet Ibrahim is clearly recorded in surah Al-Mumtahanah verse 4:

“There has already been for you an excellent pattern in Abraham and those with him, when they said to their people, "Indeed, we are disassociated from you and from whatever you worship other than Allah . We have denied you, and there has appeared between us and you animosity and hatred forever until you believe in Allah alone…”

The principle is, all that is contrary to Islam must be rejected! No reconsideration of any kind, the reconsideration is only whether we are able or not, but the principle is, it is rejected!

This principle of Millah Ibrahim, if we want to practice now, the wala’ of the Islamic ummah is that they must hold firmly the law of Islam, and reject any other beside it. Whereas, the practice of its baro’ is rejecting the Pancasila state!

This is the consequence of following the Millah Ibrahim. The country of the Muslims must be an Islamic State, fullstop! For that, there is no need to negotiate with the kafir. If you want, let's join us, if not, please leave! This had been practiced by the Islamic ummah in India before, resulting in the separation that became Pakistan.

Therefore, if the Islamic ummah want to make sense of their lives with the true 'Eidul Adha, they must follow the Millah Ibrahim i.e. hold firm the Shari'ah without the judgement of the kafir, then the state must be based on Islam one hundred percent. This is a fixed price, there is no bargaining. Whoever wants to accept the Pancasila state, the ruling is that he is mushrik, or even murtad!

The country of the Islamic ummah must be an Islamic State, this is a fixed price. Just as we are acknowledging the kalimah of Laa ilaha illallah (there is no god except Allah), is it not a fixed price? It should not be tweaked and twitched. We cannot force the kafir, although their belief is wrong, we can give advice but we cannot force. We ourselves cannot be forced, the country must be Islamic because that is the requirement of tawheed, not a political issue. This is important, that's the conclusion.

Brothers, the most basic obligation for the Islamic ummah is to rectify the System of this State towards Islam Kaffah. This is the requirement of Tawheed. The Muslims who do not agree to change the system of this country towards Islam that is Kaffah (from the State to the laws), they are already Murtad. Because it means they agree with the kufr system.

Due to that, it's now time for the Islam Ummah to dare to bring about a Revolution for this purpose.

The solving of the corruption cases that seems never resolved, where the law becomes sterile in giving equitable punishment to the corruptors, gives spaces and opportunities for the regeneration of corruptors in Indonesia, making the people vulnerable. The government and the judiciary seem half-hearted in handling the corruption cases, thus the trust of the people are increasingly disappearing day by day.

Related to this, the FUI (Islamic Ummah Forum) had sent an open letter to the president of the RI, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY). The following is the contents of the letter:

Assalamu’alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh,

The hot air of Jakarta perhaps is not as hot as the hearts of the people of Jakarta or Indonesia in general who want a regime and system change in the country which, since 2004, is mandated on your shoulders.

I believe you have heard that the people have become impatient in waiting for the measures you take to settle the affairs of the state and nation, which is increasingly muddled and chaotic, especially the corruption that has become very acute and systemic, which is not possible to be stopped by conventional means anymore, including by means of the KPK (anti-corruption commission). Not to mention that the direction of your decision often seem unclear, such as, what is the necessity in the appointment of the 13 deputy ministers besides wasting the state budget?

I'm sure you can feel that, the people, who are bored with the politics of image projection, playing with issues, and diversion of attentions, are now even angrier. Because they have become more miserable. Surely you've heard about the potato farmers who have been shouting: “Stop the import of potatoes or we'll import a president!” Surely you've heard about your photo that had gone missing from the building of the DPR (Indonesian Legistilative Assembly).

Surely you've heard about the retired generals who have written on the walls of their office: "SBY, retreat honorably, or be deposed by the people!" And lately the retired generals and a number of youths and student activists have issued an edict to “fire” you from the position of the head of state and form a provisional government to run the Pancasila and UUD 1945 (the Constitution) that is genuine and consistent. A condition towards a people/social revolution and anarchism such as that happened in Tunisia, Egypt, Libya and other Middle East countries, seems only a matter of time now.

Therefore, it depends on how you anticipate and react to it. Do you dare to take the decisions that truly favor the people, no longer favouring a handful of conglomerates and officials who serve the lust of the greedy people in America?

Yes, do you dare to change the direction of the state policy which is now dominated by the oppression and exploitation by the neolib system that plunders all the wealth of the people all over the world, to indulge their lust which controls the stake in the Wall Street? Meaning, do you dare to proclaim again the independence of the nation and state of Indonesia from all the power of the foreign capitals which have been sucking every inch of our rich homeland, and put in order a new life i.e. an Indonesia that is free and clean from the elements of the occupation by those kafir neo-colonialist, neo-imperialist, neo-liberalist?

Meaning, do you dare to take back all of the assets of the people which had already been surrendered to the foreigners; stop all the activities of the minions of the neolib that are operating in this country, including closing the faculties of the neolib's economics in all universities throughout Indonesia, which so far have paved the way for the colonialists to plunder the wealth of the people.

If you dare, then immediately summon all your ministers and officials, be they civil or military, for you to invite to a conference to solve this problem in the right way and within the shortest period of time. Invite them along to end the posts with husnul khatimah, namely by changing the existing system and replace it with another system that secures the people's life manifestly. Those who agree, they are the honest officials. Those who don't, they are the traitors!

To obtain concrete support from the people, the following steps needs to be taken:

First: Immediately conduct a special conference to dismiss the president, the vice president and the entire cabinet.

Second: Stop all activities of corruption and self enrichment; be ready to live a simple life and return all properties and proceeds of corruption or lawful property that exceeds propriety.

Third: Stop the high-cost liberal democracy political system; remove the bureaucracy and the institutions of the state that are not required and have no benefits for the people; and determine to use all state assets for the prosperity for the people.

Fourth: You and all the officials who have repented must immediately negotiate with the ulama's and Islamic activists who understand the Shari'ah laws of Allah in the field of economics, politics and governance; who all these while have dared to criticize and oppose your policies; who all these while have been siding with the people and against America; who all these while have been cornered and made as a plaything by the mass media of the neolib and their minions.

Negotiate with them on how to to build a new Indonesia, that is clean from corruption, that is blessed for the entire people of Indonesia (Qs Al-A’raf 96).

I hope you do not hesitate to take the decisions of change and not be mistaken in taking a friend (Qs Al-Munafiqun 8).

Hopefully the people can still patiently await the highly anticipated decision. And may you be able to terminate your tenure with husnul khatimah. Wallahu a’lam!
