Have You Ever Sacrificed For Islam?

I opened this article with a question, have we ever sacrificed for Islam? Sacrificed to give away what we like. Giving away what we love. Giving away something that we have kept and saved, for the sake of Islam as our religion.

Well, maybe with a simple language. Have we ever spent our money in the amount that is not relatively small for the benefits of our religion? When performing the Friday prayer for example. A box was passed on to us, what will we do. How much money will we put in the box? Ten dollars? Five dollars, one dollar or even just 50 cents?

There are many things that have been missed. Our lives which are still young often feel that we do not need to sacrifice for our religion. Instead, we are more likely to sacrifice for the things outside of religion. Such as sacrificing for friendship, for the gang, for the friends, for the lovers and in fact even for something so ridiculous. It all feels very light. But it became so heavy when the sacrifice was for Islam.

We still remember how great our Prophet Ibrahim was, he was willing to sacrifice for Allah by slaughtering his own son. As a father who had longed for a son, he was willing to give his son to Allah. Indeed, this really is a great sacrifice.

“Indeed, Abraham was a [comprehensive] leader, devoutly obedient to Allah , inclining toward truth, and he was not of those who associate others with Allah.” (QS an-Nahl [16]: 120)

In other verse, Allah SAW says (which means): “There has certainly been for you in them (Ibrahim and his ummah) an excellent pattern for anyone whose hope is in Allah and the Last Day. And whoever turns away - then indeed, Allah is the Free of need, the Praiseworthy.” (QS al-Mumtahanah [60]: 6)

Prophet Ibrahim A.S. had demonstrated an exceptional example to us all. His spirit of sacrifice was as great as the spirit of his love for Islam. This is what we don't have today. Our love and spirit of sacrifice are still very small.

Of course, this sacrifice was not without training. Ibrahim A.S. had been tested by Allah with various tests of taqwa. And Ibrahim had gone through all those tests successfully. Remember how Prophet Ibrahim left his wife alone in the desert? All this is a test to measure how big our willingness to make sacrifices for Islam are.

It's Time To Practice Sacrificing

There was a sahabah named Abdullah Ibnu Umar. When he turned 13 years old, he had already wanted to join the jihad with the Rasulullah SAW. He, together with his best friend named al-Barra’, insisted on fighting alongside the troops of Rasulullah SAW in the battle of Badar. But it was disapproved by Rasulullah SAW as they were still young. The following year at the battle of Uhud, he was still turned down. Only al-Barra’ could join. The irresistible desire was only fulfilled at the battle of Ahzab, Rasulullah SAW placed him in the Muslim forces that were going to fight the mushrikeen people. Subhanallah!

We need to train to become an Abdullah bin Umar. The first thing we need to do is to practice to control the nafs (carnal desires). It is this nafs that always makes us egotistic. Thinking of our own importance. As long as we are selfish, it will be hard for us to make sacrifices.

The carnal desires are almost always successful in tempting the humans who are weak in iman. Dragging them into the chamber of immoralities as they are not receiving guidance from Allah SWT. So true are the words of Allah Ta’ala (which means): “But if they do not respond to you - then know that they only follow their [own] desires. And who is more astray than one who follows his desire without guidance from Allah ? Indeed, Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.” (QS al-Qasas [28]: 50)

In other verse, Allah SWT says (which means): “Have you seen he who has taken as his god his [own] desire, and Allah has sent him astray due to knowledge and has set a seal upon his hearing and his heart and put over his vision a veil? So who will guide him after Allah ? Then will you not be reminded?” (QS al-Jaatsiyah [45]: 23)

The carnal desire is the part that needs to be managed properly. True, we must also realize that carnal desires can not be turned off. Carnal desires can only be mitigated or controlled. Of course, to be mitigated or controlled according to the teachings of Islam, not the others. Because it is only Allah SWT who knows exactly the characters of the humans. That's the reason behind the request from Allah SWT to the humans, that the humans are to be obedient to Him, precisely for the salvation of man itself. In order to be able to dampen the carnal desires, of course it is necessary to sacrifice by giving up things which according to the carnal desires are very gratifying and pleasurable if done.

Secondly, by making effort to sacrifice from the smallest things. Every big thing starts from small. Try to sacrifice a little by little. Sacrificing the energy, time and opportunity for Islam. Then step it up by sacrificing with the wealth. Because we need to be developed. Not to mention that our souls will usually incline towards the nafs. So it must always be guarded and directed toward goodness.

Get involved in the affairs of the Muslims. Lessen their burdens. Try to do something where we are very advantageous in that field. Do not hesitate, do not doubt or be shy. This is the time, Islam is waiting for a big gait from us.

KARIMUN, Indonesia – Store managers and customers of a number of bookstores in Karimun, Wednesday (19/10/2011) at around 14:30 local time, were surprised by the arrival of the Chief of the Judiciary Intelligence Section for the country of Karimun, Hanjaya Candra SH, along with his team.

The purpose of Hanjaya's teams's visit was to do a sudden inspection related to the 9 outlawed book titles in bookstores. The sudden inspection was done at Salemba Bookstore located in front of the Immigration office in Kolong, which is next to Jack Agency (in front of the BNI), and Al-Kautsar Islamic Bookstore at Sri Karimun Market.

Hanjaya Candra SH, told the journalists that there are 9 book titles in which their circulations are banned in Indonesia. This is due to the contents of the books which are said to contain the ideology of “violence” and are deviating from the teachings of a particular religion.

In fact, it is feared that those books would incline towards forming a thinking which has the ideology of “terrorism” for their readers.

The following is a list of the outlawed books in Indonesia:

1. Tafsir Fi Zhilalil Quran Volume 2 written by Sayyid Quthb, translated by As’ad Yasin-Muahotob Hamzah, Gema Insani Publication Depok-Jakarta 2001.

Deradicalization and the Banning of Islamic Books; A Failed and Dangerous Project

After terrorism, deradicalization is now becoming a popular term. It's possible, the issue of deradicalization would surpass the issue of corruption. Especially that now deradicalization —as part of a counter-terrorism project launched by the government — seems to be targeting Islamic books, especially those which have the theme of Shari'ah, Jihad and Khilafah.

Sure, this policy of the government is already beyond common sense or without basis. Because, haven't the theme of shari'ah, jihad and khilafah been penned in the book of the ulama's since a long time ago, in fact they normally become the reference for the religious students in the pesantren (madrassa); while the cases of terrorism has only appeared in recent times? If indeed those books are considered as encouraging people to commit acts of terror, why did the acts of terror only occur recently, not since decades or hundreds of years ago since those books which addressed those theme were already written by the ulama's? Moreover, in the books of tafsir mu’tabar —which surely directly explain the meaning of the Qur'an— those three terms are not foreign terms.

It's obvious, if the Government really conduct the surveillance and banning of Islamic books, the Islamic ummah will easily conclude that the Government are really fighting against them. Of course, this is counterproductive and dangerous.

In conclusion, it is also strange... when books of Tafsir are banned, but TV shows and reading materials that are uneducational and damaging to the nation's generation are allowed!

What's The View Of Sheikh Abdullah Azzam On Gaddafi?

The ruler, Muammar Gaddafi in the end had to end his life. He was dying after the people of Libya found him and killed him a few days ago. The anger of the Libyan people peaked after Gaddafi became infamous for being arrogant and treated his people every which way he liked.

Colonel Muammar Gaddafi did have his own list of atrocities. In 1983, Libyan Hizbut Tahrir activists had been executed by him in the schools, universities, in front of the teachers, lecturers, students, in fact even in front of their own families and children. Whereas in reality, there were only rectifying the viewpoints of Gaddafi which always despised Islam.

Gaddafi for example had spread an opinion which doubts the truth of the hadith. He considered all hadith as fake (maudlu) and none are from the wahyu (revelation) from Allah SWT. To the extent that he did not want to implement the law contained in the hadith.

Not only that, Gaddafi also repeatedly eliminated the lives of his people who disagreed with his policies. They were arrested, jailed and then tortured. Sheikh Anwar Al Awlaki -kama nahsabuh- mentioned that at least one thousand Mujahideen were thrown into prisons by the leader who had ruled for 42 years.

"He (Gaddafi) carried out executions, which perhaps were the most brutal we've ever seen, against 1,200 prisoners in the Abu Salim prison. They had already been imprisoned, and then were executed in less than three hours," thus said Mohammed al-Abdalla, a Libyan activists in the era of the 70's.

Then how was the view of Ash-Shaheed -kamaa nahsabuh- Sheikh DR. Abdullah Azzam on Muammar Gaddafi. We know he had been seasoned in the arena of da'wah and jihad in his resistance against Western imperialism. The following are his words addressed to the ulama's with regards to Gaddafi:

"When you ask the ulama's : "What (fatwa) would you declare against Gaddafi who do not leave alone even one muwahhid (people who hold firm to tawheed) youth except to be thrown into jail................ What (fatwa) would you declare regarding this man (Gaddafi) who had clearly been kufr towards Allah as clear and as bright as daylight, as well as being denial towards the sunnah of Rasulullah -sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam-. What (fatwa) would you declare O noble ulama's?"

"Is he still Muslim?"

"I do not think that any religion would accept people like this, whose tyranny have already been over the limits, and whoever is willing to accept a tyranny like this, he has sinned in this world and he will receive his due punishment in the hereafter." (Sheikh Abdullah Azzam : Al Jihad : Fiqhun Wa Ijtihadun page 195 - 196)

Besides that, Sheikh Mujahid Abu Mundzir As-Saidy -hafizhahullah- the leader of Al-Jama'ah Al-Islamiyyah Al-Muqatilah Libya had said that the law which in truth is non-Islamic had been applied by Gaddafi in Libya. The following are his words,

يقول الشيخ أبو المنذر الساعدي: (ان النظام القائم في ليبيا نظام جاهلي كافر، ويجب على كل مسلم في ليبيا ان... يساهم في خلعه وقتاله بكل ما يقدر عليه من قتال فعلي، أو اعانة للمقاتلين، وان المتخلف عن هذا الفرض الرباني لغير عذر من مرض أو عمى أو عرج أو نحو ذلك، هو مرتكب لكبيرة من كبائر الذنوب، ومرتكب الكبيرة؛ فاسق).

وقال أيضاً حفظه الله: (وليحذر المسلمون في ليبيا من الوقوف في صف هذا الطاغوت، بسلاح أو قلم أو لسان، لأن الله تعالى يقول: {وَلَا تَرْكَنُوا إِلَى الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا فَتَمَسَّكُمُ النَّارُ وَمَا لَكُمْ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ مِنْ أَوْلِيَاءَ ثُمَّ لَا تُنْصَرُونَ

"Indeed, the law applied in Libya is the law of the kafir jahiliyyah. And it is compulsory for every Muslim in Libya to give his contribution in eliminating this law, as well as fighting against it to the utmost of their ability, be it through physical jihad or assisting the Mujahideen. And that anyone who is reluctant to perform this duty (opposing the kafir jahiliyyah law) without udzur such as being ill, blind or paralyzed etc, then he has done one of the greatest sins and he belongs to the group of the fasiq people".

He added:

"And the Muslims in Libya must be cautious and vigilant, do not to be in the saff (rank) that defends this Thaghut, whether it be with the weapons, speeches or writings because Allah Azza wa jalla says (which means) :

"And do not incline toward those who do wrong, lest you be touched by the Fire, and you would not have other than Allah any protectors; then you would not be helped." (Al Huud 113)

The cruel and ruthless thaghut dictator, Muammar Gaddafi eventually died pathetically at his birthplace, Sirte, Thursday 20th October 2011. The tsunami waves of the people's revolution in Libya rolled up the regime of Gaddafi in the 42nd year he is in power, plundering and ill-treating the people of Libya, as well as trampling underfoot the Shari'ah of Islam, the religion of the majority in this North African country. What will happen after the collapse of Gaddafi 's regime? Is this related to the strategy of Al-Qaeda in entrapping America into “entering” Libya and make it the 2nd Iraq?

Gaddafi 's Murtad Regime Swept Away By The Tsunami Waves Of The Revolution

What had been said by Sheikh Anwar al Awlaki rahimahullah in the 5th edition of INSPIRE entitled “The Tsunami of Change” is true. He said that revolution can break the fear that had been languishing in the hearts and minds of the Muslims, that tyrants cannot be defeated!

The town of Sirte, Libya, Thursday, 20th October 2011, have become witness to how the cruel and ruthless thaghut dictator, Muammar Gaddafi died pathetically after a shootout with the revolutionary fighters. From his hideout in the sewers, Muammar Gaddafi was dragged out and helpless in the hands of the revolutionary fighters. By pleading, Gaddafi asked the revolutionists in front of him, “What have I done to you?”

It is not difficult to answer the question of this cruel and ruthless thaghut dictator. Just like the end of his life which was covered in blood, in his lifetime Muammar Gaddafi 's hand was also covered in the bloods of the Muslims, his own people, especially the Islamic activists and Mujahideen.

For the 42 long years he was in power, thousands of Da'wah and Jihad activists were murdered by this secular-socialist thaghut dictator who hated the Islamic Sha'riah so much. In fact, to replace the application of Islamic Shari'ah, Gaddafi implemented the secular basic laws named Al-Kitab Al-Akhdar. Look at the end of the leader who was anti-Islamic Shari'ah and did not want to apply the Islamic Shari'ah!

A Mujahid ulama', Sheikh Abdurrahman Hasan even dubbed Muammar Gaddafi as “the Modern Musailamah” in his book entitled “Qaddafy Musailamah al Ashr” with forewords by Sheikh Mujahid Abu Mundzir As-Saidy, the Amir of Jama’ah Jihad Libya.

In the book, Gaddafi 's deviations were explained, which among others are denying the sunnah of the Prophet, equating the Islamic Shari'ah law with the Roman law and also claiming himself as a prophet.

The explanation of Gaddafi 's deviations and the sadistic and cruel behaviors towards the Muslims is enough to awaken the Muslims that Gaddafi it is not suitable to be given the title Al Qaid Gaddafi (Gaddafi The Leader). Because in reality Gaddafi was a cruel and ruthless thaghut dictator. Alhamdulillah, Allah SWT overthrows this man and sweeps clean his throne through the hands the Libyan revolutionary fighters.

Who's Behind The Libyan Revolutionary Fighters?

The National Transitional Council of Libya (NTC) is a group of Libyan revolutionary fighters that ultimately -by the permission of Allah- managed to overthrow Gaddafi . This organization was founded on 17th February 2011, when the tsunami wave of the revolution began to sweep Libya.

Wikipedia informs that the NTC or Al Majlis Al Watani Al Intiqali is an interim government in Libya under President Mustafa Abdul Jalil, Vice President Abdul Hafiz Ghonga and Prime Minister Mahmoud Jibril.

Shortly after Gaddafi died, Thursday (20/10) the Deputy Chairman of NTC or Vice President in the version of Wikipedia, Abdul Hafiz Ghonga stated that they would soon declare the independence of Libya in the coming few hours, as reported by Al Jazeera.

Now, all eyes are on Libya, especially the NTC. All ears are ready to listen, what kind of government would be formed by the NTC in Libya, is it going to be the pro-Western/NATO secular government which has helped to demolish Gaddafi 's loyalist forces in Sirte or an Islamic government that will implement the Islamic Shari'ah perfectly?

Many parties are concerned about the future of Libya, particularly the West and their stooges, especially if Libya eventually becomes a country that implements the Islamic Shari'ah led by the Islamic activists and Mujahideen.

The African Union for example, has not yet given its recognition to the NTC, in fact they are rejecting it. The geo-politic and geo-strategic positions of Libya as a Muslim-majority country in North Africa, became the target of all interests.

Algeria, Libya's closest neighbour which is only a thousand miles away, is most concerned with the future of Libya. The fear is getting real after the newspaper printed in Algeria, al-Khabar, on Friday, 26th August 2011 cited sources in the security forces that a lot of Al-Qaeda members are freed after the regime of the Libyan thaghut dictator, Muammar Gaddafi, has truly collapsed.

They are the Libyan Mujahideen who were arrested and handed over to the Libyan regime from various countries including Iraq, Afghanistan and Somalia. It is not impossible that now they all have mingled with the fighters of the Libyan revolution which finally succeeded in killing the thaghut dictator.

Algeria's regime authorities who now feel threatened, even claimed to have information that in the front ranks of the revolutionary fighters are the Libyan Mujahideen who were surrendered to Gaddafi earlier. This situation further strengthens the worry of the Algerian regime that the proponents of jihad are within the armed opposition groups. It is due to this as well that until now the Algerian regime has not recognized the NTC.

In fact, Algeria officially acknowledges that the wife of Gaddafi , Safiyah, along with her eldest daughter Aishah and two of her sons, Muhammad and Hanibal, with the people closest to Gaddafi, will be given political asylum and security protection.

Nigeria, another neighbour of Libya, also officially gave asylum to Gaddafi's son named Sa’idi and it refused to surrender him to the NTC. Some sources say that Sa’idi stays in a luxury apartment with extra tight security in the capital of Nigeria. So, is it true that the Mujahideen become the vanguard of the NTC?

Some names, strongly suspected as Libyan Mujahideen, often appears. One of them is Abdul Karim Balhaj, as the commander of the Libyan revolutionary forces. At the time of Gaddafi 's death, Balhaj confirmed the validity of the news coming from the fighters in Sirte. The name of Balhaj stood out when he led the battle in the region of Babul Aziziyah.

Another name of the Mujahid that always come up is Muhammad Halibus Laits, the Commander of the Brigade Shuhada' of Libya. The International News Press Agency even released the statement of Muhammad Halibus Laits, the Commander of the Brigade Shuhada', who was personally involved in the raid in Sirte which eventually killed Gaddafi.

Visual evidences of the presence of Al-Qaeda Mujahideen could also be seen from their photos which were sourced from Forum Jihad Al Ansar and then were published by Arrahmah.com. Their uniqueness and distinctiveness were visible in the photos. In the middle of the war that raged in Libya, they were still seen performing the solat, offering do'a, reading the Qur’an. Subhanallah!

Western Crusaders Take Advantage of the Situation in Libya

As usual, the western crusaders through their stooges and the organs of their creation, attempted to take advantage of the tsunami wave of the revolution in the Middle East, including Libya for their benefits. Through the Amnesty International establishment, the western crusaders accused the NTC of doing violation against the Human Rights as Gaddafi 's government used to do. This accusation by the Amnesty International was right away refuted by the NTC through their spokesman, Jalal al-Galal, who told Reuters that the chairman of the council will definitely check out the report made by the human rights group.

In the report entitled, “Custody Violation Colours The New Libya,” the Amnesty stated that the power of the transition board which controlled Tripoli, on 23rd August had arrested around 2,500 people in the capital and its surroundings, mostly without a warrant of arrest in a scenario similar to abductions.

Through the propaganda of upholding the Human Rights, which in essence is anti-Islamic Shari'ah, the western crusaders would certainly want to control the NTC and the government of Libya strictly after the death of Gaddafi. When the western crusaders see any indication that the NTC or new Libyan government is inclined to applying the Islamic Sha'riah, then it could be ascertained that the kafir western forces along with the Crusader-Zionist coalition, would right away invade Libya under various pretexts, including the presence of serious human rights violations in Libya!

An analyst from an online website Al Quds, Khaled El Shami stated that if the foreign crusader forces are present in Libya, then the conditions of the crisis that hit North Africa will be getting worse. If the foreign forces come to Libya, they would appear as the occupying forces, and in this case will become an obstacle to the resistance that has been championed by the people of Libya in the past against the Italian occupation.

Khaled's analysis comes after the executive director of NTC, Mahmoud Jibril stated that he did not rule out the possibility that his side requires the presence of international military forces in Libya to ‘create peace and security’ post-Gaddafi.

Khaled El Shami also analyzed that the presence foreign forces, especially America, will invite Al-Qaeda's network to establish a branch in the North African country.

The presence of Al-Qaeda is definitely a threat to the crusader west. All these while, with their participation in attacking Gaddafi through NATO, they surely have their own personal political calculation and agenda.

The spokesman of NATO, Carmen Romero said on Tuesday (18/10) that the decision to terminate the new operation will be taken after NATO has conducted a comprehensive analysis of the political and military situation in Libya.

During the last 8 months, the Crusader West had used NATO to bomb Libya by using the self-justification of the UNSC resolution, through a military operation codenamed “Odyssey Dawn”. Since then, NATO had launched attacks against Libya for 9,500 times, with an average of 15 attacks in a day. This number decreased from the intensity of the previous attacks i.e. 70-80 attacks per day.

Politically and militarily, the attacks against Libya by America and its allies, have expanded the map of the new crusade. Previously, a number of Islamic countries have become targets of the savagery of the new crusade, such as Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, Chechnya, Algeria, Palestine and Somalia. Will America enter Libya and make it as Iraq no. 2?

The Strategy Of Al-Qaeda In Entrapping America

In a book written by Fahmi Suwaidi entitled “The Master Plan of Al-Qaeda 2020” it is explained that Al-Qaeda has arranged 7 phases of strategy in heading towards the victory and glory of the Islamic ummah, where one of the phases is by enticing America to come out of its “lair” so as to be easily reached, alias destroyed.

The phase of entrapping America which is called “The Phase of Awareness” commenced in early 2000 and ended in 2003 and was always called as the phase of knocking the snake's head. That snake's head is America, and it was successfully “hit” by the 19 courageous youths in the event of 11th September 2001.

The 2nd phase is “The Phase of Eye-Opening”. This phase was planned to take effect in 2003 until 2006. The aims was to make the ummah aware of their conditions and expose the evils committed by the kafireen overseen by America and its allies.

The next phase is “The Phase of Awakening and Rising”. This phase was executed around the year 2007-2010. Its objective is to increase the number of personnel who are ready to take the plunge into the different jihad arenas around the world. .

The 4th phase is “The Phase of Restoring The Condition”. This phase aims to overthrow the rulers of all the corrupt regimes who are clutching onto the Islamic nations with an iron fist, by making a strong and direct contact. This phase is planned for execution around the year 2010-2013.

The collapse of Gaddafi 's regime that happened on Thursday, 20th October 2011, can be included into this 4th phase, where the regime of Gaddafi the tyrant was successfully overthrown by the armed struggle of the Libyan revolutionary fighters.

The next phase is “The Phase Of Proclaiming The State”. In this phase, Al-Qaeda focuses on establishing an Islamic Daulah by uniting the various world jihad organizations and Al-Qaeda. This phase will be conducted in the year 2013-2016.

The next phase, i.e. the 6th phase, which is called “The Phase Of Total Confrontation”. In this phase will be a massive war between two camps. The Camp of the Mu'mineen and the Camp of the Kafireen wa Bathilin. The war between the Haq and the Bathil. The war in all aspects and that extends to all corners of the countries. This Phase Of Total Confrontation is planned to take place in 2016.

The last phase is called “The Phase Of Complete Victory”. This phase is the continuation of the Phase Of Total Confrontation which is believed by the drafter of Al-Qaeda to be going on briefly, around 3 or 9 years, i.e. from 2016 until 2019 or 2025.

In the book “The Master Plan of Al-Qaeda 2020”, also discussed was the role of Ibnu Sheikh Al-Libi, the military instructor of Al-Qaeda from Libya. In fact, the President of America, Barack Obama even shamelessly announced on Friday (21/10) that he would end the Iraq War and withdraw all of their troops later this year. The entire Crusader army in Iraq today numbers 40,000 and already more than 4,400 have died since America and its allies invaded Iraq in March 2003.

Now, the same trap for America is being set up by Al-Qaeda in Libya. America and its allies will certainly be unwilling if the people of Libya regulate the future of their own nation, let alone using the Shari'ah of Islam as the foundation of their nation. America is definitely going to peddle its product to the transitional government of Libya or the NTC, namely the liberal democracy.

After Gaddafi Was Overthrown, Establish The Islamic Shari'ah!

One fact that cannot be denied is that, among the Islamic movements in the world that is able to shake and scare the forces of the crusader alliance led by America is Al-Qaeda. America itself labels Al-Qaeda as a terrorist organization, because Al-Qaeda is truly able to destroy America and spread terror in the midst of the American people which is currently the sole world superpower.

The Mujahid ulama' who is also a senior leader of Al-Qaeda from Libya, Sheikh Abu Yahya Al Libi had issued a statement to the Islamic ummah in Libya which at that time were in the middle of a struggle, to immediately overthrow the regime of Gaddafi and establish an Islamic rule. His statement was reported by the Ummah News quoting the Associated Press.

In a statement released in his latest video, Sheikh Abu Yahya Al Libi said that with the collapse of the regimes in Tunisia and Egypt, it is now Gaddafi 's turn to step down, when the revolutionary fighters pressed for nearly a month for a campaign of Gaddafi's eviction.

He called the autocratic national government of the Arabs as the enemies of Islam, because they have been practicing the worst kind of oppression with supports from the west and they have failed to take lessons from history, he said.

Now is the turn of Gaddafi after he made the people of Libya suffer for more than 40 years, Sheikh Abu Yahya said. He also added that it would be a shame for the people of Libya if the tyrant was allowed to die peacefully. Qadarallah (the wills of Allah), the call from Sheikh Abu Yahya Al Libi is now proven by the death of the Libyan thaghut dictator, Muammar Gaddafi, in a pathetic way. Subhanallah!

The question then is, after Gaddafi was successfully deposed -by the permission of Allah-, will the Shari'ah of Islam be established soon? Do the Libyan revolutionary fighters indeed have a connection with Al-Qaeda, that they will immediately fulfill the appeal of its ulama's, including the appeal of Sheikh Abu Yahya Al Libi?

One of the commanders of the Libyan revolution, Abdul Hakim al-Hasidi has admitted his relation with Al-Qaeda. He said that the jihadists or Mujahids who fight against the allied forces in Iraq are at the forefront of the battle against the murtad regime of Muammar Gaddafi .

In an interview with the Italian newspaper, Il Sole 24 Ore, al-Hasidi admitted that he had recruited around 25 people in the district of Derna in eastern Libya to fight the coalition forces in Iraq. Some of them, he said, are “at the forefront in Adjabiya today”.

This statement is similar to the statement of concern by the Algerian regime earlier about the role of Al-Qaeda Mujahideen in the Libyan people's revolution. The Algerian had repeatedly stated that the Mujahideen have access to a variety of different weapons in the future and they would be using them in that region.

In the Algerian governing authorities itself, units of Mujahideen have been operating for years, leading the armed struggle against the military dictatorship established over several decades with the help of France.

In Algeria, the Mujahideen of Al-Qaeda have long existed under the name Al-Qaeda Maghrib Islam or better known by the acronym AQIM and which is now under the leadership of Sheikh Abu Mus’ab Abdul Wadud.

Sheikh Athiyatullah in his book “Eight Years Of The New Crusade” was asked by As-Sahab Media regarding the jihad in Maghrib Islami. He answered that Algeria specifically and Maghrib Islami in general are trying to change, from arena to arena of the Muslims in the true sense, within the chain links of our ummah's jihad at the current stage of our history. Our war is the same, fighting the same enemy and at the same front.

Finally, if according to the Master Plan of Al-Qaeda 2020, after going through the Fourth Phase, i.e. overthrowing the tyrannical rulers and dictators, then Libya will be entering the 5th Phase, i.e. the Phase Proclaiming A State. Of course, the country they want to proclaim here is the Daulah Islam or Islamic State, namely a nation which implements the Shari'ah of Islam perfectly to then unite the various world jihad organizations and Al-Qaeda, before the Total Confrontation and the Phase of Absolute Victory with the establishment of the Khilafah Islamiyyah state.

What kind of decision or declaration of a nation would be established by the NTC at this time, becomes something that is very eagerly awaited by all parties, from both friends and foes. Will it be the Libya that implements the Islamic Shari'ah perfectly, or the Libya that has an ideology of liberal democracy?

What's certain, when the western crusaders and their allies do not like choice of Islamic Shari'ah applied in the new Libya, then America will be entrapped into invading Libya and fighting them. This condition will certainly make Libya the 2nd Iraq.

“Allow Me To Be Imprisoned Forever”

Maybe we will be surprised to hear such talk. No one wants to be spending a long time in the prison, because it is usually all uncomfortable things in the prison. But it is different with this prisoner. She really wants to be in the Detention Center 1 of Surakarta, Indonesia. Because for her, she has found the extraordinary peace of mind in the prison, amazing!

Ida Pratamawati, that's her full name. She is one of the best female memorizer of the Qur’an. Her spiritual story was so impressive while in custody. She is a muallaf (convert to Islam). “I converted to Islam during last Ramadan,” she said when interviewed after the graduation ceremony at the Detention Center 1 Solo. Initially, she converted to Islam due to having no choice. Because, she is the only Hindu in the prison. Whereas, spiritual activities are always held every day in the Detention Center, the Muslims are taught to read the Qur’an, while the Catholic Christians are in their own separate room. And this woman from Yogyakarta pretended to choose the religion of Islam.

As she hated the activity of learning the Qur’an, so each time the activity was held in the morning, she used to call her relatives and asked to be visited because, with that, she could avoid having to learn the Qur’an. She did that repeatedly. Until one day she opened the mushaf (manuscripts) of the Qur’an and read its translations. That's when she found the hidayah from Allah SWT. “I kept on reading verse by verse, there I found relief from the inner restlessness which had been affecting me,” said this woman who is detained for 1.5 year. One night she prayed, “O God, if this Religion is true, show its truth,” she asked. Then she often received miraculous occurrences, so she became convinced that Islam is the true religion.

After a long study and asking for guidance from the Coaches at the Detention Center, she finally embraced the religion of Islam firmly in the month of Ramadhan. Then she gets increasingly interested in reading on Islam and as she is basically an intelligent person, it was very easy for her to accomplish the memorizing of the Qur'an's juz 30. When asked what case had caused her to be detained, this mother of two children explained while crying , “I am a doctor, and had slipped up into the case 372 (embezzlement)”.

There have been many 'absurd' occurrences after she had embraced Islam. “Whatever I wish has always been granted by Allah,” she added while holding back the tears that kept on flowing from her eyes. “I fear the day that I will be out of this prison, to the point that I have asked the Prison Coach to allow me to stay here forever,” she said. At the end of the interview, she asked for do'a from us so that she remains istiqomah and is eased in undergoing the future life.

Ambon Troubled Again, Christian Parties Used Iron Arrows, Firearms and Their Snipers Took Position

AMBON, Indonesia – Ambon is troubled again! After repeatedly provoking and infiltrating the Muslim village, today, Thursday (20/10/2011) at around 03.30 local time, the crusaders again provoked the Muslims with the beating that ended up with a clash and weapon fights. The Christian party even use iron arrows to attack the Muslims. Is this what's called 'the condition of Ambon is already conducive?'

The Crusaders Continued To Provoke

The recent 11th September 2011 riot has not disappeared from the memory of the Muslims, which had killed 8 Muslims, left hundreds wounded and hundreds of Muslims' houses burned in Waringin and Mardika. The Christians are acting up again, they attacked the Muslims who settled at New Street. They started the assault with a provocation against the Muslims by beating the Muslim youth who was on guard.

Starting from the beating, it continued with the yelling at each other between the two groups, until finally a clash with weapons in the forms of rocks, machetes and iron arrows broke out. Those iron arrows have tapered sharp ends launched with a device resembling a sling. The shooting range of the iron arrows can reach 50 – 70 meters.

The number of Muslim youths who gathered at New Street when the clash broke out was no more than 50 people. As for the Christian masses, in the count of just a few minutes, 300 of them had gathered. They were concentrated at Tugu Trikora, Pohon Pule, and down to New Street. With a disproportionate number, clashes broke out between the masses of the two communities. Two Muslims were wounded in the clash.

The Christian masses who concentrated in the areas from Tugu Trikora to the bridge of Pohon Pule continued to attack towards the Muslims, until finally the Christian masses managed to burn 3 buildings owned by the Muslims. The 3 buildings belonging to the Muslims burnt by the crusader people are : Kayu Liani Shop, Salon and Gypsum handicraft making facility. The three places are now barricaded with the police line.

The Christian Masses also infiltrated and provoked Muslims in Mardika and Talake

At the same time with the occurrence of clashes in the area of New Street to the area of Pohon Pule, the Christian also infiltrated and provoked in other Muslim areas. In Talake, the Christian parties tried to provoke the Muslims by throwing stones at the settlement of the Muslims. Whereas in Mardika, some Christians on motorbikes attempted to infiltrate into the areas of Muslims. When intercepted by the Muslim community, they fled toward the Christian village.

The incidents in the three different areas occurred at the same time, i.e. at about 03.30 local time. It seems clear that the Christian parties have been doing mature planning to strike at once into the territories of the Muslims. It turns out that the situation in Ambon is still not safe and conducive like what had been advertised all these time. Hopefully the Muslims to remain vigilant and be prepared to anticipate subsequent attacks by the crusaders.

Armed Christian Men and Snipers Take Position in Ambon

Following the latest clashes in Ambon today, Thursday (20/10/2011) at 03.30 local time, in New Street, it appeared that the attacks have been carefully planned by the Christians. This was shown by the rapidness in the way the Christians masses gathered and in the weapons used. Gunmen and snipers were wandering.

The Ambonese Christian Parties Have Already planned?

The correspondent of Arrahmah.com reported that based on direct observation at the scene, yes, when the clashes happened what could be seen was that the Christian masses were only equipped with stones, machetes and iron arrows. However, they were not. The Christian forces which were at the forefront were armed with rocks, machetes and iron arrows, but at the back of the Christian forces there were some men carrying short and long-barreled firearms.

From the testimony of an eyewitness named Fajar (a nickname) who was at the scene, he said that he saw two men dressed in black carrying firearms. It was not clear what type of firearm they carried as it was still dark. Both of those men were stationed near a car wash beside the alley that leads to the Christian village, Pardais. Not far from there, also seen were some men carrying short-barreled firearms.

When the two men armed with rifles aimed their guns at the Muslims, eyewitness Fajar shouted to the Brimob (Mobile Brigade of the Police) personnels from Makassar who were securing the masses, by saying, “Mister! There are people over there who want to shoot at us.” Hearing at the scream, the two armed men ran away quickly toward the Christian village, Pardais. Not only the armed Christian forces that came down in the clashes in New Street, some Christian snipers had also been on standby at some points waiting for the chance to shoot at the Muslims.

Will The Muslims In Ambon Be Persecuted Again?

With the comparison of the number of men and weapons that are disproportional, clashes between the Muslim and Christian masses broke out at New Street. Will the Ambonese Muslims become victims of the crusaders' cruelties again? The Murder Of Afghan Children By The Crusader Forces


The last posting by Angela Keaton regarding the condition of civilians in war-torn places, should be appreciated. The war became difficult in her stand point when presented with videos of wounded Iraqi children. For her, the theme of nationalism is just too wrong.

She thinks that the power of a video has a great effect and she is now doing it in the war in Afghanistan for the same effect, like what was written in an article at the antiwar.com website. Civilian casualties in Afghanistan have risen sharply in 2011.

In an attack in July, 14 civilians were killed, 8 of them were children. In May, the American troops killed a twelve-year-old girl in a night raid. In March, nine boys who were collecting firewoods in the eastern part of Afghanistan, were bombarded in an American air strike.

The American Crusaders who support the paid Afghan militias, recently beat children, pulled out the toenails of the foot of a boy, as well as raping a 13 year old boy by a bunch of crusaders. In February last year, a night attack launched by the American crusaders, killed a teenage daughter and two women who were pregnant. In September last year, a Crusader NATO helicopter attack killed seven civilians, four of them were children.

The UN report last year found that at least 350 Afghan children had become victims of the Crusader forces' savagery in the year 2009 alone.

In another video taken in 2008, the Guardian covered a variety of incidents of atrocities against Afghan civilians by the coalition forces. Here is an excerpt from one of those interviewed in the video:

“We were walking, I was holding my grandson's hand, then there was a loud noise and everything went white when I opened my eyes. Everybody screamed. I was lying a few yards from the previous position, I was still holding my grandson's hand, but the rest of his body has gone, I looked around and saw pieces of dismembered bodies everywhere.”

But Barack Obama and his accomplices in the Congress could talk about the Afghan war as an exceptional service of the American army, lie about the security in Afghanistan and the misleading arbitrary dates announced related to the withdrawal of American troops. How Cruel The American Terrorists Are: In Just 2 Days 100 Of Civilians Killed, Masjid Also Became A Target


America repeatedly demonstrated acts of terrorism with a real show, and they don't bear responsibility for their victims. In just two days, hundreds of people can be killed by the terrorist America. More than one hundred people were killed in drone attacks by American terrorists in Somalia, northwestern tribal region of Pakistan that borders with Afghanistan and in Yemen in the last two days.

At least 26 civilians have been killed and 31 others wounded in the latest strikes by a United States' unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in southern Somalia, Press TV reports.
Somali military officers said a US drone carried out attacks Thursday (20/10/11) morning near the Taabto and Bilis Qooqani districts in southern Somalia, resulting in the casualties.

On Wednesday (19/10/11), at least 46 people were killed after a US drone struck a city in southern Somalia near the Kenyan border. The unmanned aircraft fired several missiles into the outskirts of Kismayo, a port and capital of the Lower Juba region located some 500 kilometers (310 miles) south of the Somali capital of Mogadishu.

Thousands of local residents are fleeing Kismayo city in face of the American UAV attacks, as the Somali people are already struggling with famine in their country.

Earlier on Wednesday, 18 civilians were killed and 37 others wounded in another US drone strike on Musa Haji district in southern Somalia.

On Monday (17/10/11), a US drone attack has claimed the lives of 27 civilians, including children, in the famine-stricken Somalia, Press TV reports. Dozens of civilians were also injured in an American strike on the port town of Kismayo, about 500 kilometers south of the Somali capital Mogadishu.

The US military uses remotely controlled drones in Somalia to conduct reconnaissance missions and carry out bombing runs. The air raids come at a time that the African country is grappling with drought and famine. Starvation and disease have killed tens of thousands of Somali children over the past few months.

On Saturday (15/10/11), 15 civilians were killed and 43 others wounded when the terrorist military of America launched attacks remotely using unmanned aircraft controlled from the village of Tenggiri Qooqaani, located in Southern Somalia, 448 kilometers west of the capital, Mogadishu. American terrorists also launched drone attacks in the same area on Friday (14/10/11), killing at least 70 people.

The US has expanded the number of its aerial attacks by unmanned remote-controlled aircraft in Somalia. Many civilians have died as a result. Somalia is the sixth country where the US military has engaged in unauthorized aerial bombing campaigns through the use of its remote-controlled aircraft.

Besides that, also on Saturday (15/10/11), in South Waziristan, Pakistan, five civilians were killed and four others wounded in an drone attack. According to a Pakistani official, the drones fired four rockets onto a house in the area of Baghar.

On Friday (14/10/11), a drone targeted a vehicle near the village of Darpa Khel, located around 4 KM west of Miranshah, the main town of North Waziristan. At least 4 people were killed in that American drone attack.

Seven people, including an Egyptian national, were killed in an attack from an American drone in Southern Yemen, Friday (14/10/11). A masjid also became a target in the American drone attack which left a number of people wounded.

Again and again, in concrete and clear manners, America has been doing acts of terrorism, in fact even more heinous, which continues to kill Muslims. Where are the voices of the pursuers of terrorists who diligently arrest and spy on the Islamic ummah. Where are their voices to oppose that American acts of terrorism?

It's virtually non-existent. It's understood, because America indeed have made the program "War On Terror" to murder Muslims, who oppose the American colonialism, by the hands of the Muslims in the countries of the Muslim. While in the other countries of the Muslims, America, in daylight, carry out direct killings through their aircraft and weapons.

Thus are the suffering after suffering faced by this ummah when they are living without the shelter of a Khilafah. The Muslims today are tossed around and torn apart, and thus the kafir are easily killing this ummah as they please.

The ummah really just need a political unit under the shade of the Khilafah which will implement the Shari'ah and become the shield of the ummah that will guard the honour, blood and lives of the Muslims. The Khilafah, now its flag has been hoisted in various parts of the world, indicating that its coming is closer. Insha Allah.

Dirty Brain Vs Awrah

Finding the source of rape, is like asking : “Which emerged first, the egg or the chicken?” But it's very easy to answer. Remember, sexual relations —with or without violence— happens between males and females. Therefore, they both have the same contribution, be it directly or not.

If men are blamed for sexual violence, it is an undeniable fact. A rapist is a perverted man, with weak iman, who doesn't fear The Creator, only wanting a moment's pleasure, who does not value women and is not afraid of hell. Therefore, if we do not want the men in this world to be rapists, let alone if he is Muslim, fix their iman, their thought patterns.

Give them the understanding on the rulings of the actions and the halal-haram. Insha Allah, when iman becomes the foundation of every action, even when a lust-evoking view was offered in front of him, his private part will be guarded. He will only fulfill his desire with the woman who is halal for him. Exactly like the story of Prophet Yusuf, who was not tempted by the seduction of Zulaikha.

On the other hand, if women are accused as the trigger of sexual lust, they should be doing introspection. That is the natural fact. Women need to understand that almost all parts of the body has the sex appeal for the opposite sex.

There are men who drool by seeing the calf alone, let alone the upper leg. There are men whose sexual lust are aroused just by looking at the neck alone, let alone below the neck. It is no surprise when there is a saying, "How couldn't the rape rate get higher, if the ladies skirts are also getting higher?"

Perhaps, the women would snap again, "There are those who already covered their awrah, but they are still raped?" That happened, because lust does not necessarily arise at a moment's notice by the arousal from seeing the victim. The rapist, may previously have been aroused by another female's awrah, seeing pornographic pictures, watching blue film, erotic dance, etc.

Meaning, the female who uncover their awrah, without them knowing, have "opened up" the opportunities for rapists, to the point of becoming a threat to other women who had protected themselves by covering their awrah.

So, once again, the beauty of the female body surely triggers the male sexual lust. No need to be angry, because it's a fact. In fact, it is a qadha (decision) from Allah SWT. Therefore, the proposal that women should guard their awrah, not wearing clothes that could be arousing, is only reasonable.

In fact, it should even be an obligation, especially for the Muslimah. That's the reason Allah SWT “have to” make the rules in matters of apparels, which in the scale of secularism is considered as an intervention on human (women) rights.

Those rules would be a guarantee of security for women and also men so that their sexual lust do not arise illicitly — if applied in the scale of a system. Meaning, the role of the State to “regulate” appearance is certainly needed. Don't think of this as a trivial matter. This is one form of security guarantees given by the government to the society.

Allah SWT says: “O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to bring down over themselves [part] of their outer garments. That is more suitable that they will be known and not be abused.” (QS Al Ahzab [33]:59).

So, why be angry when the miniskirts are criticized? Didn't you say you want security, how come when regulated to be secure, you refuse?

Arab Vs Khilafah

The rampant sexual violence that causes the increase in female victims, is not separated from the application of secular ideologies, which separates religion from life. In this paradigm, individual freedom should take precedence. These freedoms are even growing very wildly, especially in matters of how to dress.

In the secular philosophy, good clothes are the ones capable of beautifying or making a person handsome. Due to that, the clothing must be able to highlight the advantages of the wearer's body. Women (as well as men) are free to appear to meet all their imaginations. Short skirts, tanks, leggings, hot pants, transparent gowns, bikinis or anything worn in public places cannot be banned. To the extent that there are even dresses made of leaves, paper, meat, in fact even cow nipples. Na'udubillahi min zalik.

See, this freedom in the way to dress then gives rise to sexual lust everywhere. If the lust needs fulfillment, they are then free to vent it to anyone. This is the root cause of the emergence of rape. Women's freedom on the one hand, should be paid costly with the falling of other women –including children — as rape victims. Ironically, rapists are not punished severely, thus they are not deterred.

Due to that, as long as the system is secular, it is difficult to eliminate or even reduce the number of rapes. It is difficult to guard the female awrah. It is difficult to prevent the venting of the wild sexual lust. It is difficult to provide assurance to women in particular, and the society in general.

Due to that, there is no other way except to apply the ideology of Islam in all aspects of life under the auspices of the Khilafah. There may be people who snap: "In the Arab world itself, there are a lot of rapes." The answer: The Arab world is not an Islamic State. The Arab world is not a Khilafah. The Arab world is not the representation of the application of Islamic Shari'ah in kaffah. Moreover, we should look at the data, how high is the rates of rape in there? Is it any higher than America for example, or even Indonesia? It is clear, there is no reason to not apply the Islamic Shari'ah. This is the only rule that is able to protect the society. It has already been assured by Allah SWT in His verse:

"Is it the judgement of jahiliyyah [the time of ignorance] they desire? But who is better than Allah in judgment for a people who are certain [in faith]?" (QS al-Maidah [5]: 50).

Ambon Conducive? Remembering The Shooting Of The Hajj Pilgrims In 2005

AMBON, Indonesia – Is it true that the condition of Ambon is already conducive? It appears that the Ambonese Muslims are still traumatized by the 11th September 2011 riots, especially during the dispatching of the hajj pilgrims this year. They are reminded by the incident of the shooting at the hajj pilgrims in 2005. How's the story? The following is the narration from the correspondent of Arrahmah.com from the scene.

Is it true that Ambon is now conducive? With strict guards by the soldiers, the 2nd flying group of pilgrims was dispatched at 4:00 AM local time. The Infantry Battalion was involved, and there was a time extension given by the Military Commander for Ambon, for the guarding in Ambon by the TNI (Indonesian National Army) troops. Perhaps, this is to anticipate for the possible subsequent riot during the hajj season this year. Because during the hajj season in 2005, there had been an attack on the motorcade of pilgrims from the villages of Latumasohi. The attack took place in the Christian village of Hative.

At that time, a group of pilgrims were passing through the village of Hative, and then the last group who rode on motorbikes were shot by a Christian police officer named Otnil layaba alias Otil. A Muslim man named Ismail Pellu was killed in the shooting. And thus the Muslims were persecuted again and again. The victim of the shooting was declared by the Bhayangkara Hospital as a victim of traffic accident. When the janaza was washed in his village, the true fact was revealed, there was a gunshot wound and projectile that came out of the wound under the armpit of victim.

As they felt cheated, the family of Islamil Pellu threatened the Bhayangkara Hospital and demanded the police to uncover the case and arrest the culprit. However, the threat was not responded to and there was no action on the part of the hospital and the police. Due to disappointment, the family finally took vengeance by attacking a Christian village named Hative Kecil, the place that became the target was an entertainment joint called Karaoke Villa. One person was killed in the attack, and a several others wounded. Approximately two months after the attack, the police arrested 17 people, suspected to be the attackers of the Karaoke Villa. All those 17 people were subject to the Law No.15 year 2003 regarding the criminal acts of Terrorism. 3 of them were sentenced to life imprisonment, while the rest were sentenced to between 4 to 18 years.

Meanwhile, the criminal who shot the hajj pilgrim, a crooked cop named Otnil Layaba alias Otis was subject to the Criminal Code and sentenced to 4 years in jail. It's been more than 2 years now that the Christian police officer has been free from jail and again served as a policeman at the Ambon police station. As for the Muslims who attacked the Karaoke Villa, most of them are still in jail now and they are called terrorists. They are in Porong Prison, East Java. So, where is justice for the Ambonese Muslims?

They Want to Replace Masjidil Aqsa With This Temple

FOR long, the Jews have been claiming that Masjid al-Aqsa was built at the site of a so-called ”Jewish temple.’’

Since the occupation of Al-Quds by the Zionists in 1967, Masjid al-Aqsa, with its Muslim worshippers, has been suffering:

Bloody attacks and incursions by occupation forces that led to massacres of tens of men, women, and children, while they were worshipping . One of these massacres left 34 Muslims martyrs and 115 wounded on 8 October 1990.

Several acts of aggression against Al-Aqsa buildings, including the famous Fire of 21 August 1969 which destroyed one third of the Qibly prayer hall inside Al-Aqsa, as well as several bombing attempts by Jewish extremists.

Seizure of some parts of Masjid al-Aqsa by occupation authorities to prevent Muslim access to them, such as Al Magharba gate (since 1967, it has been used to let Jewish extremists and tourists only inside the holy compound), the Tankuzia School (which was turned into a military building, and the Buraq wall (a part of Al-Aqsa’s western wall which was turned into a Jewish shrine known as the ‘‘wailing wall’’).

Siege of the other gates to Masjid al-Aqsa by occupation forces who frequently block the entry of many Muslims, specially youth, on security pretexts, for several weeks or months.

Dangerous diggings and excavations around and under the walls of Al-Aqsa Compound by occupation authorities, in order to destruct the place, and build Jewish structures instead. The most recent and largest such acts have led to a demolition of the road leading up to the Magharba gate starting on 6 February 2007.

Ban for all Islamic renovations and repair works inside the walls of Masjid al-Aqsa by occupation authorities since 2001.

It Belongs to Muslims

Masjid al-Aqsa belongs to all Muslims at every time and every place, as it has been a symbol for the one and same message of the oneness of God , which was preached by all Prophets who prayed at it.

Islam, the final version for this same message conveyed by the Last Prophet, Muhammad (PBUH), has confirmed and commanded over prior versions, and made the belief in all former Prophets a pillar of faith.

So, Muslims are all willing and should be able to preserve the integrity of such a place that is central to all Prophets, and to make true and real peace prevail at the city of Jerusalem, that is so dear for all Prophets’ followers.

Misconceptions

The following are some misconceptions and our clarification.

Al-Aqsa, Not the Temple

Masjid al-Aqsa is the name for the walled 144,000 square meters area in the southeastern part of the walled Al-Quds (Old Jerusalem).

According to Prophet Muhammad sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, Allah, the Almighty, chose it to be His second place for worship; the first being Masjid al-Haram in Makkah. Built by Prophet Adam forty years after the Ka’bah, restored by Prophet Sulaiman, and visited by many other prophets of Allah, including their last, Muhammad (peace be upon them all), Masjid al-Aqsa has always been a representation of one and the same belief in the ‘‘oneness of Allah’’ (the main principle in Islam) that was preached by these Prophets over generations.

None of them, including Ibrahim, Ya’qub, Musa, and Jesus (’Isa), considered Al-Aqsa Mosque as a ‘‘temple’’.

However, some of their proclaimed followers, who had chosen not to believe in some of these brother Prophets, especially in Muhammad sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, call it a ‘‘temple’’, denying Islam’s old established link to it.

The Zionists and Crusaders, after capturing the Holy Land from Muslims, have been seeking to destroy this very place of worship in order to build instead that structure they attribute to Sulaiman ‘alayhissalam.

But Solomon was just another Prophet of Islam, and therefore, he could not have the authority to build a structure for the worship of any other god but Allah. In fact, only true believers in One Allah, and in all His prophets can recognize the holy status of Masjid al-Aqsa, and, so, should always defended it as a heritage of all Prophets.

Al-Buraq Wall, Not Wailing Wall

Al-Buraq Wall is the part of the western wall of Masjid al-Aqsa where Prophet Muhammad sallallahu ’alayhi wa sallam tied his winged steed, Al-Buraq, during his night journey to Al-Aqsa. It is located near the Magharba Gate of Masjid al-Aqsa.

However, Jews and some Christians, while falsely claiming that it is part of their so called ‘‘temple’’, have made a ritual of standing in front of it, and wailing over the power they say was lost to Muslims.

Despite the lack of a shred of proof to support these claims, they have turned it into a Jewish shrine since occupation in 1967, and have been conducting so-called archeological excavations beneath it as well as other walls of Masjid al-Aqsa, in preparation for laying hands over the whole Masjid.

Al-Qibly Prayer Hall, Not the Whole Masjid al-Aqsa

Many Muslims are used to associating the name ‘‘Masjid al-Aqsa’’ to the building with the grey dome, located in the southern part of Masjid al-Aqsa compound.

However, the correct name for that building is Al-Qibly Prayer hall, as it is located nearer to the Qiblah.

In fact, this is a most significant part, but not the whole, of Masjid al-Aqsa compound, which spans 144,000 square meters and surrounded by the wall located in the southeast corner of the walled city of Al-Quds (Jerusalem).

Marwani Hall, Not Solomon’s Stables

The Jews, as well as the Crusaders who used it as a stable for horses, name the vast area that lies just below the paved courtyard in the southeast part of Masjid al-Aqsa ‘‘Solomon’s stables’’.

They try to lead people into believing that the structure is part of the so-called ‘‘temple’’ they attribute to Prophet Sulaiman, peace be upon him, despite the fact that he was one of the Prophets of Islam.

In reality, archeologists have established that this part of Masjid al-Aqsa, which had long been known as the Eastern Basement, was built by the Umayyah, as they were restoring Masjid al-Aqsa, leveling its sloppy terrain, and constructing some of its main buildings such as Al-Qibly prayer hall.

More recently, Muslims managed to open that basement for prayers, and it came to be known as the Marwani Prayer hall.

Ribat Al-Kurd, Not Little Wailing Wall

The wall of Ribat Al-Kurd is another part of the western wall of Masjid al-Aqsa, just as the famous Buraq Wall.

It is located at the Iron Gate of Masjid al-Aqsa, and the ‘‘ribat’’ itself was used as a school to house military volunteers, called the murabitun (those who safeguard). Following 1967’s occupation of East Jerusalem, Zionists occupied the whole area of Ribat Al-Kurd, and called it “the Little Wailing Wall”, as part of their claims for Masjid al-Aqsa.

Later they turned it into a Jewish religious school and a synagogue, while Jewish organisations had been encouraging visits to this site especially during Jewish holidays, in order to establish their claims to it, just as they did with the Buraq Wall.

In 1971, Ribat Al-Kurd partially collapsed, due to the excavations carried by occupation authorities underneath it. Following the collapse, the old city of Jerusalem and its walls were declared a UNESCO world heritage site, but occupation authorities still endanger this and other parts of Masjid al-Aqsa.

Dome of Rock, Not Holy of Holies

The term “Holy of Holies” is used by Jews and some Christians to refer to the most sacred part of their claimed “Jerusalem Temple”, which they assume is located under the Dome of the Rock (which lies at the center of Masjid al-Aqsa).

In fact, the Rock itself was the Qiblah of the Prophets of the Children of Israel and was also the first Qiblah of Prophet Mohammad, peace be upon him, for nearly 14 years.

However, it is just another part of the blessed Masjid al-Aqsa, being the top part of the Moriah Mount (where Masjid al-Aqsa lies) and its significance shouldn’t be exaggerated.

Islamic Ummah United Confronting Deradicalization

BEKASI, Indonesia – Alhamdulillah, the Islamic Ummah's awareness on the danger of the Deradicalization measures undertaken by the BNPT (National Counter-Terrorism Agency), is increasingly defined. Socializations with the Islamic Ummah are also intensively conducted, one of them was by the Majelis Ilmu Ar-Royyan (MIAR) by organizing a Public Lecture entitled “Fighting The Islamic Shari'ah With Deradicalization”, Sunday (9/10/2011) at Masjid Muhammad Ramadhan, Bekasi.

Some important things popped up in the event, among others are:

Deradicalization Efforts to Extinguish the Shari'ah and Jihad

Thousands of jama'ah packed Masjid Muhammad Ramadhan, to participate in the Public Lecture. They could not wait to listen to what the speakers had to talk about. Present as speakers were Ustadz Abu Muhammad Jibriel AR, as the Amir of Majelis Ilmu Ar-Royyan, Munarman SH from An-Nasr Institute and also Habib Rizieq Syihab, General Chairman of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI).

In his treatise entitled “Deradicalization, The Efforts To Extinguish The Light Of Shari’ah And Jihad In Indonesia”, Ustadz Abu Muhammad Jibriel AR said that the effort to put out the light of Islam had begun since the da'wah of Islam was first conveyed by the Messenger of Allah (SAW). It never stops and continues today in Indonesia. Since the issues of terrorists and terrorism were raised, the government of Indonesia was so enthusiastic in stultifying the spirit of the implementation of Shari’ah with da’wah and jihad fie sabilillah. Through the institutions of the POLRI and anti terror executing team, the foreign made Densus 88, many of the Mujahid ulama's and Mujahideen have been arrested, in fact they have even been butchered and murdered blindly and inhumanly.

Ustadz Abu Jibriel AR also believes that the aim of the Deradicalization is only to impede the Shari'ah and Jihad in Indonesia, and it is not an intellectual and wise solution to terrorism. In fact this action (deradicalization) will give rise to antipathy and hatred against the ruling government.

Gories Mere, DPO (wanted person) of the Mujahideen

Meanwhile, Munarman SH explained that the most dangerous person for the Mujahideen in Indonesia is Gories Mere. Gories Mere is the number one in the list of DPO's for the Mujahideen, he said.

“So this game is already commonplace, and the main brain of this project is Gories Mere, a Christian policeman. I guess if the police had a list of DPO's then the Mujahideen must also have their list of DPO's. The Most Wanted person of the Mujahideen is Gories Mere.”

Munarman also explained the position and structure in the body of the Densus 88, especially the role of Gories Mere in fighting Islam and the Muslims.

“There is actually a unit within the Densus that is more privileged than other units, namely the Tim Anti Bom. This Tim Anti Bom is directly under the command of Gories Mere. They recruit Christian policemen and other kafir policemen.”

Due to the big role and hatred of Gories Mere in fighting against the Mujahideen, thus Munarman makes this former head of the Densus (Special Detachment) as the number one DPO for the Mujahideen.

Munarman's statement was echoed by Habib Rizieq Syihab, General Chairman of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI), who was the next speaker in the event. According to him, if the Mujahideen want to compile a list of DPO's against the people who are harmful to Islam, the list must be compiled by the competent ulama's based on the daleels of the Qur’an and Sunnah.

“I agree with Munarman. The Mujahideen now should have made the list. Who are actually the enemies of Islam? Who are actually the persons, whose blood are to be shed? Who are actually the people whom we must finish? But of course we do not just casually make that list, it must be in accordance with the daleels of the Qur’an, or As-Sunnah,”

According to him, based on the shaeeh daleels in the Qur’an and Sunnah, the people whose blood are halal to be shed includes: the insulters of Allah SWT, the blasphemers of the Prophet (SAW), the desecrators of the Qur’an, the killers of the ulama's and the murderers of Muslims. In confronting these dangerous people, Habib urges so that the Islamic ummah is not divided and engrossing themselves in enmities due to khilafiyah (differences in opinions). The Islamic ummah must tighten up the saf (ranks) of ukhuwah Islamiyah and focus on confronting the common enemies of the Islamic ummah.

“So we must be more focused, really more focused, we aim our weapons and ammunitions at the people who very obviously have been the enemies of Allah and His Rasul.”

Habib threatens the enemies of Islam so as not to persecute and fight Islam. When the enemies of Islam could kidnap, strike and murder Islamic activists as they like, then the Mujahideen too never fear to do the same.

“So let us never fear, if they can abduct us, we too can abduct them. They can kill us, we too can kill them. They can strike us, we too can strike them. They can take up arms, pointing their guns at us, we can also point our guns at them. It's not only them who can do those things, brothers.”

Zionism Behind The Deradicalization Project

BEKASI, Indonesia – An Islamic leadership model is predicted to be established at the year 2020, responding to this, Western countries are employing the Deradicalization project to paralyze the strength of the Muslims.

In the Document entitled “Deradicalizing Islamic Extremists”, the West understands well that in order to paralyze the entire cells of the Muslims, it is not enough by way of arrests and killings only. If killed, the Mujahids could still emerge again. So the effort that they employ is very basic, i.e. distorting the understanding of Islamic Shari'ah and Jihad, from the way it is currently understood by the Islamic ummah, with the Deradicalization project.

“The Deradicalization is a long project that will not stop until the end times,” Munarman said in a Discussion themed “Fighting The Islamic Shari'ah With Deradicalization”, Sunday, (9/10/2011) at Masjid Muhammad Ramadhan, Bekasi.

One of the big institutions which contributes behind the project is the Rand Corporation which works on the mission of Zionism. In 2007, they did research in many Muslim countries to map out the power of the ummah.

“From the results of the report, they turned it over to America. They are contracted by America to know the life of the Islamic ummah. This is so that America can make a policy in Muslim countries, such as Indonesia,” Munarman explained.

From the result of the research, the Rand then made the classifications which are labeled onto the body of the Islamic ummah. First is the Fundamentalist Group. It has four features, namely they are pro-Islamic Shari'ah implementation, struggling to establish the Khilafah Islamiyah, anti-democracy and also critical of the West.

“The status of these fundamentalist group for the West is dangerous. The way of overcoming it is to kill!” Munarman added.

The second group is the traditionalist. This group is basically pro-Islamic Shari'ah and Khilafah, but they still can accept democracy. This group is attempted by the West to be not close to the fundamentalist group. So the game played by the West is by pitting them against one another.

“They must be provoked to be opposed on issues that are furu'iyah (branching) in nature in Islam.”

Two groups remain, the modern and secularist, the groups that are opposed to the ranks of fundamentalists and traditionalists. They are pro-democracy and not in agreement with the Islamic Shari'ah and Khilafah.

“Although critical of the West, the modernist group could still be developed. The aim is to make them as leaders in the countries of the Muslims. Do not be surprised if many of them have the title Professor, or Doctor,” Munarman added.

Munarman further revealed that the recommendation of the Rand does not only target the modernists, but also Mujahids. This can be seen from the reversal of a few among those who have plunged in jihad. One approach that is played is through economic.

“Those who had participated in jihad should then be given the capital, until they will only be preoccupied with trade activities,” Munarman said.

For the case of Indonesia, many figures have been the resource persons of this project. Munarman gave a few names such as Ansyad Mbai (Head of BNPT), Nassir Abbas (Afghan Alumni) and Goris Mere (Tim Anti Bom of the Densus).
