
JOLO, Philippines – At least two kafir soldiers of Philippines were killed in a fierce fighting in the Southern Philippines.
A group of kafir soldiers according to their statement, were attacked by around 50 armed men in Jolo Island. The military said that the attackers were possibly from the Abu Sayyaf group.
This Mujahideen group was blamed for a series of deadly attacks against Philippines kafir military body in the last 20 years.
The Mujahideen launched the attack before dawn, said the regional military spokesman, Lieutenant Colonel Randolph Cabangbang as reported by the AP.
He claimed that their troops fought back and forced the attackers to retreat.
The attack took place in Talipao, where the troops are reportedly keeping guards of construction projects.
Cabangbang identified that attackers were possibly members of the newly formed group, the Awiiyah which have links with Abu Sayyaf.
There has been no official release from the Mujahideen of Philippines on this incident.
