From WASPADA ONLINE it was reported that the Judicial Commission has pronounced that Herry Swantoro, the first level judge for the case of the former Chairman of Anti-Corruption Commission (KPK), Antasari Azhar, has violated the code of ethics and conduct.
The three judges for Antasari's case, processing at the first level, are Herry Swantoro, Ibnu Prasetyo and Nugroho Setiadji. They are the judges who examine the case of Antasari Azhar at the South Jakarta District Court. However, the Judicial Commission judged that the violations committed by the judge of Antasari's case are only minor offenses.
Judge Herry Swantoro was the judge who prosecuted and convicted Abu Bakar Ba’asyir to 15 years. Herry is now not allowed to try any case for six months as he is considered unprofessional.
How could a judge whose integrity is flawed considered as “FAIR” in the legal proceeding of Ustadz Ba'asyir?
