Alhamdulillah, 5 Years Wading Through The Storm, Arrahmah.com Aims To Be A Trusted Media Of The Ummah

Today (15/08/2011), 5 years ago, from the garage of a house in the area of Pamulang, for the first time the website of Arrahmah.com was online. It was very simple, more aimed at promoting the products of Ar Rahmah Media, especially VCD's and books. Interestingly, there was a column for the Islamic world and Jihad news from abroad. Who would have expected, it was those Islamic world and Jihad news that later uplifted the name of Arrahmah.com. Alhamdulillah!

“Filter Your Mind, Get The Truth”

The slogan “filter your mind, get the truth” has accompanied Arrahmah.com throughout the 5 years of wading through the high tide and low tide of the ocean of cyberspace, as well as the real world. From that time onwards, such facts about the Islamic world have been reported, such conditions of Jihad and the Mujahideen have been conveyed, including their defeat and victory in the front lines of Jihad lands.

In the 5 year period, Arrahmah.com have interviewed many figures, ulama's, activists and also the Mujahideen. Such important informations so needed by the ummah have been distributed, amid the rampant fake news and rubbish from the kafir and secular media. Sometimes Arrahmah.com have to deal directly with the secular journalists who often twist facts, damaging the image of Jihad and the Mujahideen, and intending to finish off Islam and the Muslims.

Indeed, from the beginning, Arrahmah.com has always been intended to be the counterweight for the Muslim and international Jihad news against the western media which have been dominating the mainstream news. The slogan “filter your mind, get the truth” continues to be held firmly and guide its work.

In the 5 year period, Arrahmah.com have published hundreds of the works of the ulama's, be it through books or articles. Such analyses of Jihad have been written, the same goes with the news, photos, ‘hot’ articles and releases by the Mujahideen which not all media dare to write. Arrahmah.com also frequently reports about the Mujahideen who are arrested, tortured or in fact even brutally murdered.

This is a part of the crusade that is sure to happen, and is also sure to have one victor only, namely Islam and the Muslims! Due to that, Arrahmah.com never hesitates to show the very beautiful smiles of the Shuhada's, as if they've seen heaven so close to the eye. Subhanallah!

Becoming The Trusted Media Of The Ummah

The 5 year journey of Arrahmah.com cannot be said to be short, although it has not been too long either. Changes for improvement are continued to be done. Arrahmah.com now appears with a new logo, striving to be more professional, istiqomah, and making it easy for the ummah access it. Islamic world and Jihad news at the fingertips of the ummah. Insha Allah!

In the 5 year period, a lot of joy and sorrow have been experienced. Conflict and friction sometimes occur and cannot be avoided. As a result, the leader and also the owner of Ar Rahmah Media, Akhi Muhammad Jibriel Abdul Rahman (may Allah free him soon and give him patience) got tested by being unjustly imprisoned with a 5-year prison sentence.

Arrahmah.com also wants all the Islamic media to work together in synergy, with mutual respect, because we are brothers, having the same task to convey the truth. Our ultimate goal is the same, reviving and elevating Islam and the Muslims, Izzul Islam wal Muslimin!

The 5 year journey of Arrahmah.com is a momentum to defend and uphold the truth in Islam, namely Al-Qur’an and As-Sunnah. For 5 years, Arrahmah.com has been consistent in reporting about the Islamic world and Jihad. The same goes for the future. Arrahmah.com will continue to be a filter against every falsehood news and dirty propaganda of the enemies of Islam. With all this, Arrahmah.com hopes to be a trusted media of the ummah.
