Ba'asyir: The Martyrdom of Usamah Will Incur Big Adzab

.

Ustadz Abu Bakar Ba'asyir has heard of the news of the death of
Al Qaeda leader, Usamah Bin Laden. Ba'asyir mentioned that the killing of Usamah will result in a big punishment for America.

"Usamah bin Laden is a great Mujahid, not just anyone can be like him. He was super rich but although he was a wealthy man, he is capable of living in barren places in Afghanistan," Ba'asyir said as quoted by his personal assistant, Hasyim Abdullah at Bareskrim (Criminal Investigation) of Police, Trunojoyo St, South Jakarta, Monday (2/5/2011).

"There is hardly any story of a Muslim figure under the sky who gave his entire wealth for the struggle of Islam like Usamah. His money was spent to finance jihad in Afghanistan. When leading a war, he himself financed it. His sacrifices for the sake of Islam are extraordinary," Ustadz Ba'asyir said in a SMS mess
age to the Muslimdaily.net through his assistant.

It is because of that devotion of his to Islam, that Ba'asyir estimated that an adzab will arrive upon America and its allies that became the intermediary in the killing of Shaykh Usamah.

"Thus, if America is successful in killing him, then I estimate that Allah would inflict a major disaster, whether it be in America, or in other countries including Indonesia, because America has killed the beloved man of Allah," he stated.

Hasyim said, Ba'asyir also denied the claims of presiden
t of America, Barack Obama laknatullah, which said that America is not fighting Islam. Whereas earlier, the ex-president, Bush, stated otherwise.

"Obama saying America not fighting against Islam is a big lie. Because America has proclaimed the crusade through George Bush," Ba'asyir explained.

Ba'asyir himself heard about the news of Usamah's death from the TV media. This man who is one of the caregivers of Pesantren (Islamic Boarding School) Al Mukmin, Ngruki, Solo, Indonesia, had also known the figure of Usamah close enough.

"We have met before during the Afghan war against the Soviet. We just know, we met together with almarhum (the late) Ustadz Abdullah Sungkar," Hasyim explained.

Jihad Will Not Subside

Whatever happened to Shaykh Usamah bin Ladin, insha Allah will not weaken the Mujahideen and Muslims. Like what had been said by Abu Rusdan when interviewed by the TV One via telephone who said,
“The news of the death of Shaykh Usamah bin Ladin hafidzahullah, if indeed true, will not dampen the spirit of the Mujahideen where ever they are, because jihad is not dependent on a figure, Jihad will continue until the last days,” Abu Rusdan said.

The martyrdom of prominent figures of jihad will only make them more alive in the spirit of the youth of Islam who never stop struggling for the sake of the establishment of the religion of Allah. Besides that, based on experience, after the martyrdom a jihad leader, a grand victory of the Mujahideen wo
uld normally ensue. In other words, their death is always "a blessing in disguise". That is always the case... never otherwise.
