MOGADISHU – Earlier, the group Al-Shabaab asserted that they would retaliate for the murder of Sheikh Usamah bin Ladin rahimahullah, now the ulama's in Somalia are asserting the same thing.
The leaderships in Al-Shabaab including Sheikh Mukhtar Robow along with Sheikh Hasan Dahir Aweys and the American-born Mujahid, Omar Hamami or better known as Abu Mansoor al-Amriki, said that they are planning for “immediate” retaliatory action, but gave no indication of how to achieve it.
"We are sending a message to the President of America, Barack Obama and the Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton that we will avenge the death of our leader, Sheikh Usamah bin Ladin soon," Hamami told the journalist after the meeting between the top brasses of Al-Shabaab in the town of Afgoye, west of Mogadishu.
"Sheikh Usamah has passed away, but the holy war is not dead. All fighters in the world are fully ready to avenge death of our leader," he added.
