Defence Letter Of Ustadz Aman : The Guilty One Is Fir'aun, Not Us

Last Monday (6/12) Ustadz Aman read out his defence letter in the District Court of West Jakarta. In the defence letter entitled "The Guilty One Is Fir'aun, Not Us" , Ustadz Aman articulately and assertively explained his position and the position of the government which has imprisoned him. The following is the full content of Ustadz Aman's defence letter. May it be useful!

The Guilty One Is Fir'aun, Not Us

All praises belong to Allah alone, the Ruler of the universe, to Whom all affairs are surrendered, that there is no truth except when sourced from His teachings, and there is no blameworthiness unless otherwise it is wrong in His teachings.

May salawat and salam be showered upon Rasulullah who was sent to bring the laws and teachings, that whoever is disputing it and deviating from it, then he has lost his way. Indeed there is no error and violation except in the violation against the law that he had brought.

Wa ba'du:

Allah Ta'ala says:

إِنَّ فِرْعَوْنَ وَهَامَانَ وَجُنُودَهُمَا كَانُوا خَاطِئِينَ

"Indeed, Pharaoh (Fir'aun) and Haman and their soldiers were deliberate sinners." (Al-Qasas: 8)

This verse affirms that King Fir'aun, his official aides and security apparatus are the guilty party who become the suspects and defendants before the law of Allah Ta'ala. But of course they did not admit that they are the guilty party which deserve to be evicted to the court, because they are the ruling regime in which all their actions and speeches are legitimate by law and right according to the law, the reason is because the existing law and legislation are their own inventions.

Know that indeed Allah Ta'ala has mentioned that among the errors of Fir'aun is that he has overstepped beyond the limit as a creature (of Allah):

اذْهَبْ إِلَى فِرْعَوْنَ إِنَّهُ طَغَى

"Go you (Musa) to Fir'aun for he has indeed transgressed all bounds," (An-Naziat : 17)

where he (Fir'aun) said:

أَنَا رَبُّكُمُ الْأَعْلَى

"I am your Lord, Most High." (An-Naziat : 24)

also his words:

مَا عَلِمْتُ لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَهٍ غَيْرِي

"I do not know any god for you besides me." (Al-Qasas : 38)

In fact, with arrogance he said to Prophet Musa 'alaihissalam:

لَئِنِ اتَّخَذْتَ إِلَهًا غَيْرِي لَأَجْعَلَنَّكَ مِنَ الْمَسْجُونِينَ

"If you take a god other than me, I will surely place you among those imprisoned." (Ash-Shu'ara : 29)

So among the faults of Fir'aun is that, he claimed himself to be the one and only god that has to be worshipped and he threatens those who deny his godship with the threat of imprisonment. But the question here is: what kind of godship is claimed and demanded by Fir'aun, and that it is his absolute prerogative right?

Did he claim to have created the heavens and the earth?

Did he claim that manfa'at (benefits) and mudharat (harms) are in his hands?

And did he claim to possess knowledge of the unseen things (ghaib)?

The answer to all these questions is "NO" according to the nas (texts) of the Qur'an. As for the first, i.e. that Fir'aun did not claim himself to be the one who created the heavens and the earth, and therefore on the contrary he believes that it is Allah Who created it all, it is as what had been said by Prophet Musa 'alaihissalam to Fir'aun:

لَقَدْ عَلِمْتَ مَا أَنزَلَ هَؤُلاء إِلاَّ رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ بَصَآئِرَ وَإِنِّي لَأَظُنُّكَ يَا فِرْعَونُ مَثْبُورًا

"You have already known that none has sent down these [signs] except the Lord of the heavens and the earth as evidence, and indeed I think, O Fir'aun, that you are destroyed." (Al-Isra : 102)

And as for the second, i.e. that Fir'aun did not claim to bring manfa'at and mudharat in his hands, where he could not bring in manfa'at and he could not resist mudharat, it is as Allah Ta'ala mentioned in the Qur'an where Allah Ta'ala struck punishments on Fir'aun and his people which they were not able to reject and avoid. Allah says:

فَأَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمُ الطُّوفَانَ وَالْجَرَادَ وَالْقُمَّلَ وَالضَّفَادِعَ وَالدَّمَ آيَاتٍ مُّفَصَّلاَت

"So We sent upon them the flood and locusts and lice and frogs and blood as distinct signs," (Al-A'raf : 133)

And it turned out that what Fir'aun and his followers did when the punishment struck upon them was asking from Prophet Musa 'alaihissalam so that he would make do'a to Allah Ta'ala to remove the adzab from them, whilst saying:

يَا مُوسَى ادْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ بِمَا عَهِدَ عِندَكَ لَئِن كَشَفْتَ عَنَّا الرِّجْزَ لَنُؤْمِنَنَّ لَكَ وَلَنُرْسِلَنَّ مَعَكَ بَنِي إِسْرَآئِيلَ

"O Moses, invoke for us your Lord by what He has promised you. If you [can] remove the punishment from us, we will surely believe you, and we will send with you the Children of Israel." (Al-A'raf : 134)

Therefore, Fir'aun believed that the manfa'at and mudharat are only in the Hands of Allah Ta'ala, and in fact Fir'aun also did not dare to confront the mu'jizat (miracle) of Prophet Musa 'alaihissalam during the duel which became the deciding factor, by hiring magicians to confront it, and even that was after he had asked for the opinions of his aides:

قَالَ الْمَلأُ مِن قَوْمِ فِرْعَوْنَ إِنَّ هَذَا لَسَاحِرٌ عَلِيمٌ، يُرِيدُ أَن يُخْرِجَكُم مِّنْ أَرْضِكُمْ فَمَاذَا تَأْمُرُونَ، قَالُواْ أَرْجِهْ وَأَخَاهُ وَأَرْسِلْ فِي الْمَدَآئِنِ حَاشِرِينَ، يَأْتُوكَ بِكُلِّ سَاحِرٍ عَلِيمٍ، وَجَاء السَّحَرَةُ فِرْعَوْنَ قَالْواْ إِنَّ لَنَا لأَجْرًا إِن كُنَّا نَحْنُ الْغَالِبِينَ، قَالَ نَعَمْ وَإَنَّكُمْ لَمِنَ الْمُقَرَّبِينَ، قَالُواْ يَا مُوسَى إِمَّا أَن تُلْقِيَ وَإِمَّا أَن نَّكُونَ نَحْنُ الْمُلْقِينَ، قَالَ أَلْقُوْاْ فَلَمَّا أَلْقَوْاْ سَحَرُواْ أَعْيُنَ النَّاسِ وَاسْتَرْهَبُوهُمْ وَجَاءوا بِسِحْرٍ عَظِيمٍ، وَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَى مُوسَى أَنْ أَلْقِ عَصَاكَ فَإِذَا هِيَ تَلْقَفُ مَا يَأْفِكُونَ، فَوَقَعَ الْحَقُّ وَبَطَلَ مَا كَانُواْ يَعْمَلُونَ، فَغُلِبُواْ هُنَالِكَ وَانقَلَبُواْ صَاغِرِينَ، وَأُلْقِيَ السَّحَرَةُ سَاجِدِينَ

“Said the eminent among the people of Fir'aun, 'Indeed, this is a learned magician, who wants to expel you from your land [through magic].' [Fir'aun said], 'So what do you instruct?' They said, 'Postpone [the matter of] him and his brother and send among the cities gatherers who will bring you every learned magician.' And the magicians came to Pharaoh. They said, 'Indeed for us is a reward if we are the predominant?' He (Fir'aun) said, 'Yes, and, [moreover], you will be among those made near [to me].' They said, 'O Moses, either you throw [your staff], or we will be the ones to throw [first].' He (Musa) said: 'Throw,' and when they threw, they bewitched the eyes of the people and struck terror into them, and they presented a great [feat of] magic. And We inspired to Moses, 'Throw your staff,' and at once it devoured what they were falsifying. So the truth was established, and abolished was what they were doing. And Pharaoh and his people were overcome right there and became debased. And the magicians fell down in prostration [to Allah ]." (Al A'raf: 109-120)

Such were the hired people of the false god, incapable before the miracles of Musa 'alaihissalam, and they even turned into having faith in Musa 'alaihissalam, and Fir'aun was angry with them and killed them brutally.

And as for the part that Fir'aun did not know the unseen, it was when he had concerns that his power would be destroyed by a Bani Israel man, he then ordered his security forces to kill all the male people of Bani Israel, but he instead picked up and raised a male baby of the Bani Israel who would later become the destroyer of his power, namely Musa 'alaihissalam:

فَالْتَقَطَهُ آلُ فِرْعَوْنَ لِيَكُونَ لَهُمْ عَدُوًّا وَحَزَنًا

"And the family of Fir'aun picked him (Musa) up [out of the river] so that he would become to them an enemy and a [cause of] grief," (Al-Qasas : 8 )

From the verses earlier it is known that Fir'aun believed that Allah Ta'ala is the only One Who created the heavens and the earth and all that they contain, He is the only One Who answers do'as and He is the only Dzat Who knows the unseen.

So in that case, what kind of godship did Fir'aun pin on himself and push away from any other, including Allah Ta'ala?

To understand this, then check out the following explanation:

Allah Ta'ala says:

إِنِ الْحُكْمُ إِلاَّ لِلّهِ

"Legislation is not but for Allah." (Yusuf: 40)

This verse explains that the authority for making laws, legislations and ordinances is only the special right (prerogative) of Allah. This is because the authority of law-making is related to the creation, just as Allah Ta'ala says:

أَلاَ لَهُ الْخَلْقُ وَالأَمْرُ

"Unquestionably, it is His to create and to govern." (Al-A'raf : 54)

Since the One Who creates is only Allah, then only Allah alone is entitled to govern, veto and establish the laws and rules. And just as Allah Ta'ala does not include any creature in creation, then He also does not allow and include any creature in the authority to make laws and rules, just as He says:

وَلَا يُشْرِكُ فِي حُكْمِهِ أَحَدًا

"And He does not share His Command with any person whatsoever." (Al-Kahf : 26)

And he even forbade to include or associate someone in the authority of law-making which is the prerogative of Allah Ta'ala. He Ta'ala says:

وَلَا تُشْرِكُ فِي حُكْمِهِ أَحَدًا

"And don't you associate anyone in His legislation." (Al-Kahf :26 as in the mutawwatir qira'ah ibnu 'Amir)

Just as someone who believes that there is other creator besides Allah Ta'ala is mushrik and kafir, as well as considered as deifying other besides Allah, since the right of creation is the special right of Allah, then so are the people who rely the authority to make laws and rules on others besides Allah, mushrik and kafir, as well as already deifying others besides Allah.

Just as someone who claims to have had a share with Allah Ta'ala in creation is convicted as already claiming himself as god - the partner of Allah Ta'ala, then so are those who claim that they are entitled to make the laws and rules besides Allah, they have already claimed themselves as god - the partner of Allah Ta'ala. And just as someone who claims that he is the one who creates mankind and that there was no other who creates them other than himself, is already claiming himself as the one and only supreme god for mankind, then so are those who claim that only they themselves are entitled to make the laws and that there is no law that must be made as a reference except their laws, then it means that they are already claiming to be the supreme god.

In order to make this issue clearer, then note the content of this verse:

اتَّخَذُواْ أَحْبَارَهُمْ وَرُهْبَانَهُمْ أَرْبَابًا مِّن دُونِ اللّهِ وَالْمَسِيحَ ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ وَمَا أُمِرُواْ إِلاَّ لِيَعْبُدُواْ إِلَهًا وَاحِدًا لاَّ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ سُبْحَانَهُ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ

"They have taken their scholars and priests as lords besides Allah , and [also] the Messiah, the son of Mary. And they were not commanded except to worship one God; there is no deity except Him. Exalted is He above whatever they associate with Him." (At-Tawba : 31)

In this verse, Allah Ta'ala has condemned the Christians with a lot of condemnations, including:

1. They have deified their 'alim ulama's (scholars) and priests.
2. They have performed worships (ibaadah) to their 'alim ulama's and priests .
3. They have violated the laa ilaaha illallaah.
4. They have become mushrik.
5. And those 'alim (learned) position themselves as god.

What can be the shirk (idolatry) of the Christians, and their form of worship, and why was it said that those 'alim ulama's and priests have positioned themselves as arbab besides Allah? Is it because of ruku' (bowing) and sujud (prostration) or other reasons? Observe the commentaries of the Prophet Salallahu 'alaihi wa Sallam about this verse in a hasan hadith which was narrated by At-Tirmidzi, that when this verse was recited by Rasulullah Salallahu 'alaihi wa Sallam in front of 'Adi Ibnu Hatim (at that time was a Christian and later converted to Islam), and when 'Adi heard this verse with the earlier condemnations, he said: "We (the Christians) do not worship them" i.e. we never deify them and we never perform solat or make do'a to them, so why are we considered as having worshipped them, what form of worship do we have for them, thus Rasulullah Salallahu 'alaihi wa Sallam explained the forms of worship that they performed to their 'alim ulama's and priests with his saying:

أليسوا يحلون ما حرمه الله فتحلونه ويحرمون ما أحله الله فتحرمونه

"Don't they make halal what Allah forbids and then you make then halal, and they forbid what Allah makes halal and then you forbid them?"

Then 'Adi answered: "Yes, it's true."

Then Rasulullah Salallahu 'alaihi wa Sallam said: "So that is the worship toward them".

So the worship here is the reliance of the laws by the people on the 'alim ulama's and priests, and the acceptance of their laws as a reference and trust, whereas it is the privilege of Allah Ta'ala where if it is turned towards others besides Him, then it is shirk akbar and when claimed by a creature then he has already exceeded the limit and claimed himself to be god. Al-Imam Hamd Ibnu 'Atiq said in his Kitab Ibthalut Tandid pg. 76:

أجمع العلماء علي أن من صرف شيئا من نوعي الدعاء لغير الله فقد أشرك ولو قال لا إله إلا الله وصلي وصام وزعم أنه مسلم

"The ulama's have agreed that whoever turns anything from the ibaadah towards others beside Allah, then he has turned mushrik even if he says laa ilaaha illallaah, even if he performs solat and sawm, and even if he claims to be Muslim."

Whereas, the reliance of the laws is an ibaadah which is purely the right of Allah Ta'ala, and when relied on others besides Allah Ta'ala, then it is Shirk and those who make those laws as a reference then they are mushrik even if it is only one law, like what Allah Ta'ala has explained in the Qur'an concerning carcasses:

وَلاَ تَأْكُلُواْ مِمَّا لَمْ يُذْكَرِ اسْمُ اللّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَإِنَّهُ لَفِسْقٌ وَإِنَّ الشَّيَاطِينَ لَيُوحُونَ إِلَى أَوْلِيَآئِهِمْ لِيُجَادِلُوكُمْ وَإِنْ أَطَعْتُمُوهُمْ إِنَّكُمْ لَمُشْرِكُونَ

"Eat not of (meats) on which Allah's name has not been pronounced: That would be impiety. But the evil ones (satans) ever inspire their friends to contend with you, if you were to obey them you would indeed be pagans (mushrik)." (Al-An'am : 121)

This verse partly relates to the debate between the Awliya Ar-Rahman and Awliya Ash-Shaithan (Quraish Kafireen), where the kafir made halal the carcass and debated the Muslims into joining them in making it halal. Al-Hakim narrated with a saheeh sanad from Ibnu 'Abbas Radliyallahu 'anhuma, he said regarding those words of the kafir: "What was slaughtered by Allah, you don't want to eat, while what you slaughtered, you eat," so Allah sent down, "Verily, the evil ones (satans) ever inspire their friends to contend with you."

Here, it is only one law, but Allah convicted those who follow it as mushrik, "and if you were to obey them, you would indeed be Mushrik," while those who accept it, as wali (friends) of satan, "Verily, the evil ones (satans) ever inspire their friends to contend with you" and the law invented was labelled as the revelation and whisper of satan.

If the reliance of the right of making just one law on other besides Allah Ta'ala is shirk and making that law as a reference in a verdict, accusation, fatwa or sentence is a shirk akbar which invalidates one's Islam, then what about the invention and reference to more than one man-made law?

And when the claim for the authority of making one law is a claim of godship, then what about the claim that it is he and his institutions that have the authority to make laws, and that any law would not be a valid law, as well as having the legal effectiveness, except when approved and finalized by himself and his institution? And this is the godship which Fir'aun meant in his speech:

أَنَا رَبُّكُمُ الْأَعْلَى

"I am your Lord, Most High." (An-Naziat : 24)

and his words:

مَا عَلِمْتُ لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَهٍ غَيْرِي

"I do not know any god for you besides me." (Al-Qasas : 38)

i.e. that I am the only one who have the power to make laws and there is no law that you can obey other than my laws.

Whereas, the ibaadah that Fir'aun wants from his subjects is not the solat and do'a made to him, but obedience and loyalty to his laws and orders.

So this is among the errors and offences charged by Allah Ta'ala on Fir'aun, where he had planned and/or used other people to commit the criminal act of opposing Allah and His laws, whereas the charges strapped to the officials and security forces of Fir'aun was because they had intentionally provided assistance and convenience to Fir'aun in the criminal act of opposing the power of Allah. And all of them, namely Fir'aun, his officials and the security apparatus, had deliberately and consciously done an evil pact, attempts or assistance to commit the criminal act of opposing the laws of Allah Ta'ala and terrorization on the people who want to establish the laws of Allah Ta'ala with the terror of imprisonment as mentioned in surah Ash-Shu'ara verse 29:

لَئِنِ اتَّخَذْتَ إِلَهًا غَيْرِي لَأَجْعَلَنَّكَ مِنَ الْمَسْجُونِينَ

"If you take a god other than me, I will surely place you among those imprisoned."

And the terror of murder as mentioned in surah Ghafir verse 26:

وَقَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ ذَرُونِي أَقْتُلْ مُوسَى

"And Pharaoh said, 'Let me kill Moses.'"

and the terror of torture as defined by his words:

فَلَأُقَطِّعَنَّ أَيْدِيَكُمْ وَأَرْجُلَكُم مِّنْ خِلَافٍ وَلَأُصَلِّبَنَّكُمْ فِي جُذُوعِ النَّخْلِ

"Be sure I will cut off your hands and feet on opposite sides, and I will have you crucified on trunks of palm-trees." (Ta-Ha : 71)

and so Fir'aun then executed terror by ordering his security apparatus to kill the men who were feared to be endangering his ideology and governance, as well as letting the women neglected without protectors:

إِنَّ فِرْعَوْنَ عَلَا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَجَعَلَ أَهْلَهَا شِيَعًا يَسْتَضْعِفُ طَائِفَةً مِّنْهُمْ يُذَبِّحُ أَبْنَاءهُمْ وَيَسْتَحْيِي نِسَاءهُمْ إِنَّهُ كَانَ مِنَ الْمُفْسِدِينَ

"Truly Pharaoh elated himself in the land and broke up its people into sections, depressing a small group among them: their sons he slew, but he kept alive their females: for he was indeed a maker of mischief." (Al-Qasas : 4)

Those are the charges and allegations which are fixed against Fir'aun and his auxiliaries.

And let us compare that reality of Fir'aun with the reality of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia.....

Is the rights of law-making authority in this country not in the Hands of Allah alone and not referred to Him alone, but given to many individual figures and institutions, i.e. given to the MPR, DPR, DPRD and President and others? For example see these proofs:

* Contained in the UUD (the Constitution) 1945 Chapter II Article 3 section 1: "People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) have the power to change and set the Basic Laws (Constitution)."

This means that the MPR is the arbab (gods) - the inventors of laws besides Allah Ta'ala, and the people who sit as its members are the people who claimed to be god like Fir'aun.

* In the Constitution 1945 Chapter VII Article 20 paragraph 1 it is stated that: "The House of Representatives (DPR) holds the power to form legislation," whereas in the teachings of Allah Ta'ala the Ruler of the heaven and earth, the One Who holds the power to make the laws and rules is only Allah Ta'ala:

إِنِ الْحُكْمُ إِلاَّ لِلّهِ

"Legislation is not but for Allah." (Yusuf: 40)

And the meaning of Article 20 paragraph 1 UUD 1945 is the same as the words of Fir'aun:

أَنَا رَبُّكُمُ الْأَعْلَى

"I am your Lord, Most High." (An-Naziat : 24)

i.e. that I am the one who holds the power to establish laws that apply to you.

* Then listed in the UUD 1945 Chapter VII Article 21 paragraph 1 is the statement that: "Members of the House of Representatives (DPR) have the right to propose draft laws," where the shar'ie meaning is that the members of the DPR are given the godly right by the UUD 45.

* Also in UUD 1945 Chapter III Article 5 paragraph 1 it is stated that: "The President has the right to submit draft laws to the House of Representatives (DPR)," meaning that the President and DPR equally have the godly attributes claimed by Fir'aun.

In fact the problem is not limited to the delegation of legal authorities to such Fir'aun's institutions, but all are bound and restricted with a supreme law book namely the UUD which is the invention of the MPR (supreme institution of Fir'aunism), where the DPR can make any law.

But must be in accordance with the UUD, such as in the UUD 45 Article 1 paragraph 2: "Sovereignty is in the hands of the people and carried out according to Basic Laws (UUD)."

And the President also has his power limited to the UUD invented by the arbab (gods) who sit in the MPR, not limited by the laws of the God of the heaven and the earth, as stipulated in the UUD 45 Chapter III Article 4 paragraph 1 that: "The President of the Republic of Indonesia holds the governmental power, in accordance with the UUD."

So it turns out that the acts of the rulers and government of this country exactly match the deeds of Fir'aun, and so are the actions of this country's security forces the same as the actions of Fir'aun's security forces.

When Fir'aun threatened every one who was disobedient to his godship and refused to submit to his laws with the threat of imprisonment:

لَئِنِ اتَّخَذْتَ إِلَهًا غَيْرِي لَأَجْعَلَنَّكَ مِنَ الْمَسْجُونِينَ

"If you take a god other than me, I will surely place you among those imprisoned." (Ash-Shu'ara : 29)

Then so is the government of this country threatening every one who opposes their law and who wants to replace it with the Islamic law, with the threat of imprisonment, because it means that the rule of Islamic law is to deny the godship of the Pancasila and the godship of the law makers in the kafir system of democracy.

When Fir'aun accused Prophet Musa 'alaihissalam and his followers who invited mankind towards the teachings of Allah Ta'ala and His laws, as a destroyer of the order and of wanting to change the ideology of the state, thus they deserved to be killed and eradicated, just as in his words:

ذَرُونِي أَقْتُلْ مُوسَى وَلْيَدْعُ رَبَّهُ إِنِّي أَخَافُ أَن يُبَدِّلَ دِينَكُمْ أَوْ أَن يُظْهِرَ فِي الْأَرْضِ الْفَسَاد

“And Pharaoh said, 'Let me kill Moses and let him call upon his Lord. Indeed, I fear that he will change your religion or that he will cause corruption in the land.' (Al-Ghafir : 26)

where the among the meanings of “dien” is the law and legislation, just as Allah says:

مَا كَانَ لِيَأْخُذَ أَخَاهُ فِي دِينِ الْمَلِكِ

"He (Yusuf) could not take his brother by the law (dien) of the king," (Yusuf: 76)

So is the government of this country accusing the tawheed dai'es and mujahids who struggle to raise the kalimah of Allah in this country with pure tawheed da'wah and sincere jihad. The government accused them of being a destroyer of the order and of wanting to change the ideology of the state, who must be suppressed and eradicated, as well as provided a strong legal foundation and legal security in addressing the urgent problems in the eradication of those criminal acts and the perpetrators.

When Fir'aun ordered all his apparatuses in all areas to beware with the dangerous da'wah movement of Musa 'alaihissalam and his followers and so that they warned the public from getting near it, as well as watching them so as not to be influenced by the small groups who brought that misguided, strange, dangerous and disturbing ideology, just as Allah Ta'ala recounts:

فَأَرْسَلَ فِرْعَوْنُ فِي الْمَدَائِنِ حَاشِرِينَ، إِنَّ هَؤُلَاء لَشِرْذِمَةٌ قَلِيلُونَ، وَإِنَّهُمْ لَنَا لَغَائِظُونَ، وَإِنَّا لَجَمِيعٌ حَاذِرُونَ

"Then Pharaoh sent among the cities gatherers [and said], "Indeed, those are but a small band, And indeed, they are enraging us, and indeed we all, with no exception, must always be vigilant." (Ash -Shu'ara: 53-56)

So is the government of this country doing the same thing, where they accuse the youths who desire for the success of the religion of Islam with tawheed and jihad, as astray people who coerce their wants and whose movements need to be watched out and observed, that an anti-jihad special detachment (densus) needs to be formed in order to handle it and a public police needs to be created in order to restrict their da’wah and teaching movement, as well as the special laws that need to be invented in order to trap the actors and supporters until there appeared the laws of the Republic of Indonesia no. 15 year 2003 about the Establishment of the governmental regulations as a substitute to law no. 1 year 2002 about the eradication of the criminal act of jihad, to become a law.

The measures taken by the government of this country and the measures of the government of Fir'aun are very similar indeed.

أَتَوَاصَوْا بِهِ بَلْ هُمْ قَوْمٌ طَاغُونَ

"Is this the legacy they have transmitted, one to another? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds!" (Az-Zariyat : 53)

تَشَابَهَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ

"Their hearts are alike." (Al-Baqara : 118)

If this matter is certainly clear, then it is obvious that the guilty ones in the issue of the military training in Aceh are the Fir'auns of this country, their supporters and security apparatus who have executed an evil pact, attempts or assistance in committing a criminal act of opposing the authority of Allah Ta'ala, Who has commanded the Muslims to do military training in His verse:

وَأَعِدُّواْ لَهُم مَّا اسْتَطَعْتُم مِّن قُوَّةٍ وَمِن رِّبَاطِ الْخَيْلِ تُرْهِبُونَ بِهِ عَدْوَّ اللّهِ وَعَدُوَّكُمْ

"And prepare against them whatever you are able of power and of steeds of war by which you may terrify the enemy of Allah and your enemy." (Al-Anfal : 60)

While among the forces that must be prepared is archery or shooting, just as the Prophet Salallahu 'alaihi wa Sallam said:

أَلا إِنَّ الْقُوَّةَ الرَّمْيُ أَلا إِنَّ الْقُوَّةَ الرَّمْيُ

"Remember, verily the strength is the shooting, remember, the strength is the shooting." (HR Muslim)

Whereas the shooting is by using the arrows, firearms and other devices according to the suitable era and development of technology.

To the extent that it is wajib (obligator) upon every Muslim male to be proficient in using them in order to do i'dad and jihad fie sabilillah. However, this kafir government of Indonesia precisely forbids the Muslims from possessing and using firearms, ammunitions and the likes, especially when used for the ibaadah of jihad, as declared by the anti-jihad laws chapter 9 that "Every person who unlawfully brings in to Indonesia, makes, accepts, attempts to acquire, hands over or attempts to hand over, masters, carries, owns stocks of them or has in his possession, keeps, transports, hides, uses or issues into and out of Indonesia a certain firearm, ammunition or a certain explosive material and other dangerous materials with the intent to commit the criminal acts of terrorism, shall be sentenced to death penalty or life imprisonment or minimum imprisonment for 3 (three) years and maximum of 20 (twenty) years."

Consider this 'plastic' article which ensnares all parties that has involvement in the procurement of firearms, ammunitions and other materials for the purpose of jihad. And among the evidence which shows that the criminal acts of terrorism defined in the plastic article earlier are I'dad and jihad is the reality that people who rob to loot other people's property by using firearms are only snared by Article 365 of the KUHP (Criminal Code) not with the anti terrorism UU in which the sentence is very light which makes the robbers getting more addicted. In fact, the use of firearms, ammunitions and the likes is a legal and even required thing if the purpose is to defend the nation and government, as well as the ideology of the kafir rulers, thus due to that the army and police are armed. Very evil and wicked are the adherents of this kind of kafir law, where firearms are prohibited from use, and in fact even if only for keeping them, if the purpose is to defend the religion and law of Allah, in fact knowing information regarding its existence and not right away reporting it is also not free from the noose of its punishment. However, if the one using it is the apparatus who upholds the kafir law and who maintains the kafir state system, then it is a legitimate thing.

And it is the plot of the enemies of Allah Ta'ala to keep themselves strong, as well as armed, and the Islamic ummah remaining weak, far from power and weapons so as to remain easily herded and regulated and destroyed when they are resisting, as in His verse:

وَدَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَوْ تَغْفُلُونَ عَنْ أَسْلِحَتِكُمْ وَأَمْتِعَتِكُمْ فَيَمِيلُونَ عَلَيْكُم مَّيْلَةً وَاحِدَةً

"Those who disbelieve wish that you would neglect your weapons and your baggage so they could come down upon you in one [single] attack." (An-Nisa: 102)

The government of Fir'aun of this country wants to extinguish the light of the religion of Allah Ta'ala in all sorts of ways, but it is not possible for the light of the sun to be extinguished though it can be temporarily covered by the clouds in some places.

يُرِيدُونَ أَن يُطْفِؤُواْ نُورَ اللّهِ بِأَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَيَأْبَى اللّهُ إِلاَّ أَن يُتِمَّ نُورَهُ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْكَافِرُون

"They want to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah refuses except to perfect His light, although the disbelievers dislike it." (At-Tawbah: 32)

Therefore, to the government of this country please do as you like against us!... but remember we all will die, and before Allah Ta'ala we all will know whether the ideology of Pancasila which is now being upheld, the UUD 1945 which all these while has been made as a reference and the NKRI (Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia) which they say is a 'fixed price', could save you from the adzabs of Allah Ta'ala or would they instead bring you destructions?

وَسَيَعْلَمُ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا أَيَّ مُنقَلَبٍ يَنقَلِبُونَ

"And those who have wronged are going to know to what [kind of] return they will be returned." (Ash-Shu'ara : 227)

Today, since the Fir'aun-like regime is in power, then all the malicious actions committed by its apparatuses in carrying out its orders are all simply legitimate, although it's a horrible terror or torture in secret places far from the reach of the media and in fact even murder by way of mayhem, and the same goes with the confiscation of properties.... All these are simply valid because it is already in conformity with the law.... What law? Yes, the laws which are made by the Fir'auns of this country... The essence is that it is power and strength that could make something legal or not....

However, when comes a day where power and dominion only belongs to Allah Ta'ala and all the regimes of Fir'aun have disappeared and become humiliated, then it is there that we will meet and direct our disputes to Allah the Almighty:

إِنَّكَ مَيِّتٌ وَإِنَّهُم مَّيِّتُونَ ثُمَّ إِنَّكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عِندَ رَبِّكُمْ تَخْتَصِمُونَ

"Indeed, you are to die, and indeed, they are to die. Then indeed you, on the Day of Resurrection, before your Lord, will dispute." [Az Zumar: 30-31]

Yes we will dispute... we are on the side that endeavoured to implement the law of Allah Ta'ala in this world, who were accused as criminals by this country's regime of Fir'aun, while this government and its legal apparatuses are on the side that insisted on running the thaghut law and enforce that law upon mankind....

Let's wait together the verdict and sentencing by the Ruler of the universe in the akhira later:

قُلْ كُلٌّ مُّتَرَبِّصٌ فَتَرَبَّصُوا فَسَتَعْلَمُونَ مَنْ أَصْحَابُ الصِّرَاطِ السَّوِيِّ وَمَنِ اهْتَدَى

"Say, 'Each [of us] is waiting; so wait. For you will know who are the companions of the sound path and who is guided.'" [Ta-Ha : 135]

As for in this trial, please judge what you want to judge, because the decision to be decided has already been written in Al-Lauh Al-Mahfudh 50 thousand years before the creation of the heaven and the earth, to the point that we do not fear or we are not worried, but the one who should be worried and afraid are those who took part in oppressing us for no sin except that we have faith in Allah Ta'ala and we obey His laws, because indeed Allah Ta'ala will hasten the punishment for for the slightest injustice in this world besides that which Allah prepares in the akhira. Rasulullah Salallahu 'alaihi wa Sallam said:

بابان معجّلان عقو بتهما فيالدنيا: البغي والعقوق

"Two doors in which the punishment is hastened in this world: oppression and rebelliousness."

Also his saying:

إن الله ليملي للظالم حتى إذا أخذه لم يفلته

"Verily, Allah truly buys time for the unjust people, so that when He punishes them, they cannot escape Him."

Cruel! Ustadz Aman Abdurrahman Sentenced To 9 Years In Jail

JAKARTA - Injustices on the Muslims continue to be displayed by the government. This time Ustadz Aman Abdurrahman and 8 Aceh Mujahids are experiencing it. Ustadz Aman is sentenced to 9 tears in prison and eight Aceh Mujahids are sentenced to 9 years in prison just because they were practicing one of the requirement of the Islamic shari'a, namely I'dad (military exercise) in Aceh. When will this oppression against Muslims end?

9 Years Imprisonment For An Ustadz

Ustadz Aman is known as a dai'e who is active in da'wah. But now Ustadz Aman is charged as being involved in the armed training (I'dad) in Aceh and ended up being sentenced to nine years in jail by the judges of the District Court of West Jakarta, Monday (20-12-2010). According to the judge, Ustadz Aman is proven to have assisted in the military training or I'dad which was held in the mountains of Jalin Jantho, Aceh Besar, Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam, in 2009.

Ustadz Aman earlier was to be prosecuted for 12 years imprisonment by the prosecutor. He was charged as guilty for violating article 13 letter (a) Laws on Terrorism. Responding to the decision of the judges, Ustadz Aman states that he does not accept the verdict. However, he would not filed an appeal against such decision.

"I do not accept this judgment," he said. Last week, Ustadz Aman instead have written a defense letter entitled "The Gulty One Is Fir'aun, Not Us." In that of his defense, it is described in detail the tyranny of Fir'aun and the cruelties that he did along with his security apparatuses in quelling the tawheed da'wah of Prophet Musa AS.

The trial verdict was filled up with the ikhwans, the supporters of Ustadz Aman. They cried out the takbeer in every opportunity, whether in the beginning or the end of the session. The ikhwans were not satisfied with the sentence given to Ustadz Aman and considered the verdict as an injustice.

8 Mujahids Sentenced To 12 Years In Jail

Meanwhile, other injustices fall upon 8 Aceh Mujahids. Only because of conducting a 'military exercise' alias I'dad they are sentenced to 12 years in jail. Cruel! The prosecutors assessed that the defendants were involved in the military training in Aceh. The defendants raised their objections for the prosecution.

The eight defendants were threatened with article 15 jo. article 9 Law No 15/2003 about Terrorism Crime Acts. Things which incriminate the accused are their acts which are disturbing the society. While things which relieve them are the polite behavior, the fact that they have never been convicted and the confession for their acts.

The eight accused are Laode Afif alias Hafis alias Hadid, Mukhtar Khairi alias Umar Bin Fasihin, Masykur Rahmat bin Mahmud, Muchsin Kamal alias Zulkifli, Surya Achda alias Abu Semak Belukar, Hasbuddin alias Abu Azzam, Deni Sulaiman alias Sule, Rahmadi Nowo Kuncoro alias Usyak As Syahid.

From the hands of the defendant are seized evidences in the form of 1 AK-47 gun, 312 bullets, 2 M-16 guns, 1 telescope, 1 Bali Bombing Jiahd CD and 1 military-style khameez outfit.

On the demands of the JPU (public prosecutors), the defendants through their legal counsel, Musliman N, will lodge a defense, “we will make a plea,” he said.

Ya Rabbi... when will these injustices on the Muslims end..?

Letter From Ustadz Abu Bakar Ba'asyir: Densus 88 Are Enemies Of Allah And His Rasul

In the last few days, a number of media reported that Ustadz Abu Bakar Ba’asyir had sent a letter addressed to several institutions, particularly the police. There are many responses to the letter and most are putting Ustadz Abu into a corner, whereas he is only conveying Al-Haq in accordance with Al-Qur’an and Sunnah. The following are the contents of his letter dedicated to a number of institutions in this country.

To the slaves of Allah:

1. Mr. Head of the Supreme Court

2. Mr. Attorney General

3. Mr. Chief of Police

4. Mr. Chief of Densus 88

By the permission of Allah SWT, I am conveying a tadzkirah (reminder and advice) through this letter to all of you (Misters) for the sake of our salvation especially in the akhira later.

It is compulsory upon me to convey this tadzkirah after seeing the grave violations against the law of Allah and the sunnah of His Rasul, which are terribly committed by the Densus 88.

The violations against the law of Allah and His Rasul are: Accusing the ibaadah of I’dad (preparation of physical and mental strength, as well as utilizing weapons for the protection of the State / Islam) which is commanded by Allah and His Rasul and was done in Aceh, as an act of terror and those doing are accused as terrorists.

I’dad is the practice of preparing the mental and physical strength to the best of our ability in order to terrify the enemies of Allah and the enemies of the Muslims, so that they would not disturb Islam, since the character of the kafir / enemies of Allah is that, they are not pleased (ridha) when the shari'a of Allah and His Rasul are practised by the Muslim individuals, as well as society, and they are forcing the Muslims to follow their ideology / religion.

Allah says: (Al-Baqarah : 120)

"Never will the Jews or the Christians be satisfied with you unless you follow their millah / religion."

Besides that, when they are able, they are also continuously fighting against the Muslims to be coerced to become murtad. This is explained by Allah SWT in His verse: (Al-Baqarah : 217)

“…Nor will they cease fighting you until they turn you back from your faith if they can…”

This nature of the enmity of the kafir against the Muslims must be confronted with the mental and physical preparation so that they will be terrified, to the point that they do not dare to disturb Islam and the Muslims. Therefore, this commandment of i’dad - preparing the mental and physical strength - is explained by Allah SWT. To terrify them, then the i’dad to defend Islam / the State which Allah is pleased with, by doing training, is prescribed by Allah SWT and His Rasul.

Allah commanded i’dad in His verse: (Al-Anfal : 60)

"Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power, including steeds of war, to strike terror into (the hearts of) the enemies, of Allah and your enemies, and others besides, whom ye may not know..."

What is meant by “strength” in the above verse was explained by Rasulullah SAW as “shooting skills”, so its meaning is “firepower” such as explained in the following narration:

Narrated from Salabah bin Amir RA, he said : I have heard Rasulullah SAW said while he was on the mimbar: “Prepare to confront them the strength according to your capability. Know that what is meant by strength is the throwing (shooting/archery), know that what is meant by strength is the throwing, know that what is meant by strength is the throwing.” (HR. Muslim).

In putting into practice this commandment of Allah SWT, Rasulullah SAW encouraged and praised the people who practice weaponry, such as that when he saw people practising archery, he said:

“Throw/shoot O Bani Ismail because indeed your ancestors are excellent archers.” (HR. Bukhari)

And in order to emphasize the importance of weapons training, he SAW said:

“Whoever have done weapons training and then abandon it, he is not from our group or he has done transgression.” (HR. Muslim and Ibnu Majah)

The above saying of Rasulullah SAW shows that he was giving encouragement to his ummah to do training mentally and physically. This shows that to train for mental and physical strength is prescribed.

The objective of the weapons training in Aceh, was to obey the commandment of Allah and His Rasul in surah Al-Anfal 60, due to that the said training was an act of worship (ibaadah) because the attribute of the believers is that they have an absolute obedience towards the commandment of Allah and His Rasul, not arguing, and doing it according to their ability.

Allah SWT says: (An-Nur :51)

"The answer of the Believers, when summoned to Allah and His Messenger, in order that He may judge between them, is no other than this: they say, "We hear and we obey": it is such as these that will attain felicity."

Therefore, I and all of you (Misters), if we claim to be believers, we must obey this command for i’dad when we have the ability, we cannot argue. This command for i’dad has the same degree in terms of its dictum as the command for solat, sawm, zakat, hajj, etc.

So it is clear that the i’dad that was practised in Aceh is a noble deed which, insha Allah will attain the pleasure of Allah SWT, so we appreciate it and we don't degrade it with the allegation of terror. But the ibadaah of i’dad in Aceh which was to obey the commandment of Allah and His Rasul was heckled and insulted by the Densus 88. Its practice is accused as terror, and those who practise it are accused as terrorists, attacked and arrested in a sadistic way.

Therefore, it is clear that insulting the ibaadah of i’dad which was practised in Aceh means insulting Allah, insulting His commandment (Al-Anfal : 60), insulting Rasul and insulting his sunnah about this i’dad. This means that the Densus 88 are insulting Allah, His Shari'a and they are insulting Rasulullah and his sunnah.

In a indirect way, the Densus 88 are accusing Allah SWT of creating the shari'a of terror and Rasulullah SAW of encouraging the shari'a of terror. (Most Pure is Allah and His Rasul from this accusation and humiliation). The actions of the Densus 88 in this regard are the same as the insults made by the kafir America on Allah, His Shari'a, His Rasul and his sunnah by attempting to burn the Qur’an.

Therefore, it is clear that with this munkar attitude, the Densus 88 has become the enemies of Allah, the enemies of His Rasul and the enemies of the Muslims, whether they are aware of it or not.

Therefore, for the sake of the safety in the akhira later, I am advising you (Misters) to rectify the munkar deeds of the Densus 88 which are inviting the wrath of Allah. You (Misters), as the leaders, will be asked for accountability in the akhira later. So, I am advising you to remove the accusation of terrorists from those who are practising the ibaadah of i’dad and treat them according to the stipulation of the Shari'a as specified in the Qur’an and sunnah.

It is true that they are considered as violating the prohibition of possessing weapons without permits. But this regulation is contrary to the shari'a of Allah and the sunnah of the Prophet regarding i’dad. So this regulation is batil and must be changed. What should be banned are those who possess and do weapons training for crimes (robbery, etc.), but if for obeying the commandment of Allah and His Rasul, it should be given leeway, though with supervision, because in Islam there are conditions when men can make rules/laws but it cannot be antonymous to the law of Allah and His Rasul.

I am delivering this tadzkirah simply with the intention of:


1. So that I have a reason before Allah to disclaim liability in the akhira later, because I am seeing the insult made by the Densus 88 on the sharia of i’dad, thus I am reminding with the hope that they want to repent and have taqwa (fear Allah). Allah says : (Al-Araf : 164).

"When some of them said: 'Why do you preach to a people whom Allah will destroy or visit with a terrible punishment?'- said the preachers: 'To discharge our duty to your Lord, and perchance they may fear Him.'"

2. When this tadzkirah of mine is ridiculed and they continue to insult and hinder the practice of the sharia of i’dad until Allah is angry and sending down adzab/calamity on them, may I be saved by Allah from His adzab, as I have already tried to remind them to the best of my ability.

Allah says: (Al-Araf : 165).

"When they disregarded the warnings that had been given them, We rescued those who forbade Evil; but We visited the wrong-doers with a grievous punishment because they were given to transgression."

Oo Allah... give guidance to the leaders of this country for they do not know...Ameen.

Oo Allah ...witness (Allahummashhad) I have already reminded according to my ability,..Ameen.

Densus 88 Wants To ‘Remove’ Ustadz Aman?

JAKARTA - An ikhwan finally managed to visit Ustadz Aman at his new “palace”, in the Polres (city or regency police) of West Jakarta. Apparently, Ustadz Aman was entrusted by the Densus 88 to the Polres of West Jakarta so that he is 'isolated' from the fellow prisoner ikhwans in the Polda (provincial police) Metro and so that he can never again conduct tawheed da'wah in the prison. Do they want Ustadz Aman to be 'eradicated'? The following is the narrative from the ikhwan.

To the Muslims everywhere who are longing for the news and just a little wind from behind the iron bars, Alhamdulillah, the Admin managed to meet him in the place where the Densus lodged him in, namely the Polres of West Jakarta. The visit by the admin was like a leak for the Densus, because their wish was that no one knows the whereabouts of Ustadz Aman. Evidently, the admin was sternly warned by the guard and he told us that he got scolded by his superior and said the admin: “If you want to visit, report with the Densus in Polda first,” the admin replied: “Oh! I was unaware of this procedure.”

In the last few days, maybe some Muslims, especially the muwahhid ikhwans who usually visited Ustadz Aman, are a little worried about his whereabouts, where is he now...? As is already known, he (Ustadz Aman) was detained (captured) in the Polda, i.e. in the general criminal detention house to be exact. After several months he was transferred (thrown) into the narkoba (narcotic) criminal detention house, in one locality with the other Aceh muwahhid-mujahid inmates, one locality but he was alone in a completely minimal space.

Then, not long after that, he was transferred again from a completely minimal space to a super minimal space, where there was only a light with a very low wattage. In this space, he felt his eyes were disturbed. After the transfer process which to him was so tiring, he suddenly disappeared without any prior notification especially to his family. It was his disappearance from the earlier detention house (narkoba criminal detention house at the PMJ), which later it was discovered that he was entrusted (as a prisoner) by the Densus to the Polres of West Jakarta, and his presence there at the Polres of West Jakarta that raised a question, why is he in the Polres, whereas he is supposed to be under the judiciary custody....?

Regardless of which institutions he is detained under, what's obvious is that his rights are abused. Actually, the reason why he had been transferred so many times was that the Densus want to separate Ustadz Aman from his 'ummah' especially the inmates who are hungry for the knowledge of the essence of life i.e. tawheed. The tawheed da'wah that he whipped up from behind the iron bars apparently made the Densus edgy, in fact it could even make them (the Densus) furious.

The experience of tawheed da'wah which Ustadz Aman called for from behind the iron bars has always brought results, where the inmates who earlier were “veggie chicken” changed to become a ferocious lion, even though there were those who became a lion just for a day, in fact even for an hour, as they are later shaheed hit by the hot leads of the Densus. For the muwahhid: "a lion for one hour is better than being a 'veggie chicken' for life."

From that experience, the Densus are as if not wanting to be at their wit's end, but qadarullah, the lions of tawheed can't be stopped from mushrooming, whether they are inside or outside the prison. The Densus want to extinguish his da'wah but Alhamdulillah, all their attempts have been futile. His silent transfer from the detention in the Polda to the Polres of West Jakarta added to the suspicion that they really want Ustadz Aman gone without any due process of the law. The legal processes that functions is just a mere alibi, if they want to be honest, Ustadz Aman should have been sentenced but to this day it continues to be delayed for no apparent reason, is it possible that they continue to look for offense so that Ustadz Aman will be snared with their Anti-Terrorism Act?

In the confinement of the Polres of West Jakarta, Ustadz Aman was visited by the Chief of the Polres and his Deputy and was also accompanied by his Suu' Ustadz, a graduate of the I'dad Tsani (Preparation Two), LIPIA (Institution of Islamic and Arabic Knowledge in Indonesia) Jakarta, apparently this Chief of the Polres is from the Jama'ah Tabligh (JT). At the meeting, the Chief of the Polres, through the speeches of the graduate of the I'dad Tsani LIPIA (a branch of the Imam Ibn Saud University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia) debated Ustadz Aman. Because of the limited knowledge of the Ustadz, this Chief of the Polres talked without any direction, meaning it was not clear what topic he wanted to discuss, which in the end, that Ustadz of the rulers blurted out anything he likes and mentioned the word "khawarij" angrily. Then, his Amir (Chief of the Polres) ended the meeting and told Ustadz Aman, "Be patient, OK..."

That's how being a 'veggie chicken' is, being patient at all time even if in the end you have to hand over your neck to the enemies without having to be asked. Ustadz Aman emphasized it to the Chief of the Polres that he is detained like now because of the affairs of tawheed, that the rulers are thaghut because the current law is the law of the kafir. Thus more or less what Ustadz Aman told the Chief of the Polres, all at once representing “the jama'ah of the gas stove” (JT).

To the Admin, Ustadz Aman left a message for the Muslims to always be patient (of course not the kind of patience that the 'veggie chicken' have), the Muslims especially the muwahhid should maintain the quality of their iman, not simply feeling sufficient for already attaining the knowledge of tawheed but it must be maintained by doing a lot of zikr, reading the Qur'an, solat lail (night prayers) and busying oneself with the dien just like the Prophet SAW when the moment was tense and in time of restrictions, what he did was drawing himself closer to Allah, where in the end the QS Al-Muzammil was sent down in which there is a call for performing the solat lail, etc.

Thus was more or less the brief message from Ustadz Aman -hafidzahullah-. We hope that Ustadz Aman is under the protection of Allah SWT. Ameen.

It Turned Out That The JAT’s Money Went to Gaza, When Will This Fitnah End?

Jakarta – The opinion that was developed by the POLRI (National Police of Indonesia) and the media about the involvement of the management of the JAT (Jama'ah Ansarut Tauhid) related to the channeling of funds for terrorist activities in Aceh, which all this time has been heralded, is apparently in need of proof that could be accepted by the general public.

All this time, the Polri have been saying that they have enough evidence to ensnare the managements of the JAT but in practice they have not been able to prove anything, in fact the source of saveabb.com who is in the body of the Polri said that the Polri are now at a loss of how to prove the involvement of the JAT and its boards related to the flow of funds, because the evidence in the form of transfer, receipt, etc. is absent.

The arrests of a number of JAT activists including Ustadz Abu Bakar Ba’asyir is an option chosen by the Polri due to their frustration in finding the evidence. This option was chosen by the Polri with the assumption that they would be able to force the JAT activists to give testimony.

This detention, flavoured with a “little torture”, could possibly provide a tremendous effect on the JAT activists to the point that they, with a heavy heart, justify what is in the plan of the Polri plus the fact that they only can be assorted by lawyers who are the creation of the Polri and not the TPM (Team of Muslim Lawyers), until they are all in the complete control of the Polri.

What is the latest report obtained by the editorial of saveabb.com concerning the actual flow of the funds which are in the 'pockets' of the JAT?

The editors received an e-mail from the territorial amir of the JAT for the area of Jakarta regarding the JAT being a donor in the construction of Indonesia Hospital in Gaza, Palestine, for an amount as much as Rp.150 Millions which was channeled through MER–C (Medical Emergency Rescue Committee) and which was validated by the issuing of a donation certificate by Dr. Joserizal Jurnalis, Sp.OT.

Besides giving a donation which is quite a huge amount to MER-C, the JAT has also given a contribution by forming the KATIBAH volunteers, where its initial move was to help the victims of the Merapi eruption and it would be continued by moving to other areas of disasters by distributing donations and equipments and others.

Looking at the moves made by the JAT along with its managements including the giving of funds for the construction of Indonesia Hospital in Gaza, Palestine, which automatically will promote the name of the Indonesian nation on the international scene, why is this country along with its law enforcement bodies so nasty in their treatment of the JAT activists by detaining, torturing and slandering them? Shouldn't they be thankful for the contributions of the best sons whom this nation possessed?

A Story Told By Our Doctor Upon Her Return From Maluku

This is another narration about the barbaric Christian aggression against Muslims in Indonesia's Maluku and the ensuing Jihad that it ignited. Though written 7 years ago, yet it still applies and is full of lessons for us in treading the path of our current da'wah and jihad.

all,

Alhamdulillah, Karen & I have just returned home last night. Azhar, Insha Allah, will arrive tomorrow and followed by Wan Hazmy and Al-Amin.

None of us had thought that it had been too far and too difficult to get there and we had the chance of trying almost everything, the jet plane, small plane, boat, ship, 4WD vehicle, etc.

Brothers and sisters, the war in Maluku (or Moluccas - ed) is currently flaring up and when I am writing this, I figure that the Mujahideen are conducting attacks in Ambon and North Halmahera. It is the real jihad in the full meaning of the word. Frankly speaking, I was initially somewhat sceptical because too little was written in the newspapers.

But now I realize and I have come home with a mandate from the people of Maluku to spread the correct information in respect of the war that happened there. If you think Kosova is extreme, try to imagine being in an area which is worse than that. This is a war that was sparked and initiated by a international conspiracy.

Geographically, it is likely that after the fall of East Timor into the hands of the Christian, Maluku, Sulawesi and if we are not careful, East Malaysia will also follow suit. This will create a buffer for the country like Australia and the West.

This war started with a call from the High Priest of Maluku to eradicate the Muslims and banish Islam out of Maluku, where the populations are 50-50% Muslims - Christians. The Muslims in Maluku are considerate people not unlike the Malays in Malaysia. They had never thought that this thing would happen. They had never expected that they would be attacked on 'Eidul Fitri in 1999. They had never imagined that they would be burned alive while in the middle of performing the taraweeh prayer during last Ramadhan.

Try to imagine an area with tens of thousands of Muslim people being killed. Not only killed, but their heads are chopped off, organs mutilated, etc. Then the flesh were shredded, hearts taken out and eaten or powderised to make bullets powder mixture.

Try to imagine the women being raped in the Masjid by the terrorists including their priests who later commented "the skin of these female Muslims feel tasty" in front of the families who waited for their turn to be killed. Their breasts were cut off and thrown like playing a frisbee game, whereas they were laying in agony awaiting the final blow that would finish their lives.

Imagine an Imam who was murdered and buried, in which when the ground was excavated again, it was found that his genital was cut off and his mouth was stuffed with raw pork meat. The earth shook and only the will of Allah prevented them from going further.

Imagine the children with dirty faces and mucus flowing from the nose on their dry faces, as well as being neglected, holding your hands and whining "Ma'am... hungry ma'am... have not eaten for 3 days ma'am..." Imagine the foods that only contain plain rice and if fared well, with a side dish of indomie (local brand of instant noodles - ed) soup or if really 'luxuriant', with a little piece of tuna.

Imagine the fearless Mujahids who walked with arrows and spears thrusted to their shoulders, arms and legs without any feeling of despair or crying but the utterance of the kalimah "Allahu Akbar" on their lips.

Imagine the eight-year-old boy who fought for Allah and when asked, he answered "no use of living... they are trampling on our sacred religion..."

Imagine the thousands of evacuees who arrived on the coast of Ternate with gunny sacks full of their belongings and if they are lucky, they could sleep on the stairs of the crowded masjid and other places of refuge.

Imagine the thousands of evacuees huddling together inside the cloves drying warehouse. The air inside was hot and stifling. Some children with high fever were lying on the pieces of hardwood that they call home now.

Imagine the sick and injured being treated on the floor of the masjid and makeshift structures where the walls were breaking apart, supported by bicycle parts and iron piles driven into the ground. Wounds were bandaged with honey and cloth (by the will of Allah, the wounds were healed and jointure of bones took place).

Imagine the Christian doctors, who, in the few years which had passed, have been making their life's mission to kill Muslim newborns or conduct caesarean operation in order to stunt the growing numbers of the Islamic ummah.

Imagine all these O Brothers and Sisters. This is what we experienced and heard. It looked like there was too little that we could offer but alhamdulillah, our presence itself had been enough to give them peacefulness. We look almost alike. Speaking the languages which are almost alike and we worship the same God. They want us to bring back with us the counterbalanced news and present the story of a ferocious war to you all and the entire Islamic ummah in this world.

The money that we had collected were used for paying the advance money to buy a good house, to be made as a health centre for treating the Mujahideen, as well as the refugees. When I am writing this, Wan Hazmy and Al-Amin are surely busy moving into the building and setting up the preparation to receive the patients. Also when I am writing this, the Islamic forces are entering and taking over the territory in Ambon and North Halmahera.

Trust me, this is not a war about territories or nations/races. This is a true jihad against the enemies of Allah. Not even one person whom we met, talked about their properties which they had lost but they talked about a war which is against Islam.

They need our help. They need the money and also the efforts, expertise and do'a. Please help us to help them. We are in need of surgery experts especially Orthopaedic surgeons. We need to form a squad. The centre is in Ternate Island, it is 100% Muslim and safe. Insha Allah.

It is a beautiful island and the breakwater (jetty) is like an aquarium with clear water and colorful fish underneath. Please contact Azhar, myself or Zaleha in order to offer your service. We feel the priority is to look after the Mujahideen due to our expertise in medical. If you feel scared, remember that the time of our death has been written, not a moment sooner and not a moment later. Indeed, to die for jihad in the cause of Allah is the best death.

Apparently The Guts Of The DENSUS Are As Small As The “ANT”

SOLO, Indonesia – Watching the news of the arrest of Joko Daryono or Thoyyib as the Aminul Mal (treasurer) of the JAT (Jama'ah Ansarut Tauhid), on the online media center and hearing the story directly from the family concerned, as well as from the witnesses who saw firsthand his arrest and the house raid incident, maybe we can conclude that the guts of the members of the Densus AT 88 Mabes Polri (Police HQ) could be considered as “as small as the ant”, but their styles are “as big as the elephant.” Why so?

Why not, just arresting one person who did not carry any weapon took tens of personnels with complete weaponry and was done inhumanely. If indeed those law enforcements (especially) the police and most especially the Densus 88, are always consistent with what they always roar about, that in the process of arresting someone, it cannot be done recklessly and it must be based on a strong evidence and arrest warrant. However, why don't all these happen on Islamic activists?

Whereas, the evidence used to arrest Islamic activists such as Ustadz Abu Bakar Ba’asyir, Ustadz Aman Abdurrahman and the latest, Joko Daryonno, etc. is totally absent. And what's even stranger, the arrest warrant was usually only made a few days or maybe not even made at all, after the relevant party was “kidnapped”. Therefore, if the Densus 88 is not likened to an animal (an ant is an animal right?!?), then what else are they to be likened to!?!

Then, shortly after the arrest, members of the Densus 88 came to the residence of Joko Daryono in the district of Gentan, Sukoharjo. What did the Densus 88 want to look for? While the person was already arrested. In fact, in their cowboy style, they were menacing the people in the neighbourhood. However, when they wanted to get out of the house by bringing an iron box, and then were prevented by Madam Eli (wife of Joko Daryono) while saying to them, “enough misters, rather than getting disappointed, there is nothing in the box, it belongs to Farouk my son." Hearing that, the members of the Densus 88 responded, "where is Farouk?" The little boy was asked to open the box which used a key in the form a number code. The frightened child then proceeded and opened the iron box, and true, there were only toys inside.

However, what is apparently still unknown to the people (especially the Islamic activists) is that, it turned out that indeed the members of the Densus 88 at that time (and maybe in other cases of raid too), were in the state of cowardice (various sources). Still remember what was said by Madam Kartini, wife of Ustadz Ghazali who was arrested by the Densus 88 in North Sumatra, when the Densus 88 wanted to bring a bag they found in the house of Ustadz Ghozali, which was thought to be a bomb?? At that time Mdm Kartini said, “that bag is not a bomb, if you don't believe, go open and see for yourself”. But for the reason mentioned earlier, that the Densus 88 are having small guts (“as small as the ant”), they DON'T EVEN DARE TO OPEN A BAG.

Just imagine, if facing a young child and opening a bag can make them panicky (imagine how they would be like if they are confronting the formidable Taliban), what if the Islamic ummah is united in confronting them (the Densus 88)??? Indeed, a truly awesome power will be formed to fight the enemies of Islam in Indonesia i.e. DENSUS 88. Therefore, it needs to be informed and conveyed to the society here that the Islamic ummah must know of the condition such as this, that today we're in the shooting and pouncing target of the kafir (especially America) through their accomplices in Indonesia, one of which is the Densus 88.

If we do not immediately rise to unite and turn to attack them (because all this while, we were the ones who were attacked first), then over time our generation of the Islamic ummah would disappear, finished off by them, whether it be through the subtle means (wearing thin their aqeedah, making them murtad, etc.) or through their cowboy way of shooting them one by one or imprisoning them. Wallahu a’lam.

Tadzkirah By Ansarut Tauhid For The Citizens And Rulers Of This Beautiful Country But Continually Afflicted By Disasters

From behind the prison, Abu Bakar Ba'asyir fakallahu asrah asked the Jama’ah Ansarut Tauhid (JAT) to issue a Tadzkirah regarding the calamities that happened to this country and the total solution of returning to Islam. Here is the Tadzkirah from the JAT:

JAMA’AH ANSARUT TAUHID
FOR THE PEOPLE AND RULERS OF THIS BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY BUT CONTINUALLY AFFLICTED BY DISASTERS

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
إن الحمد لله نحمده نستعينه ونستغفره ونعوذ بالله من شرور أنفسنا ومن سيئات أعمالنا من يهده الله فلا مضل له ومن يضلله فلا هادي له و أشهد أن لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له و أشهد أن محمدا عبده ورسوله

O Muslimeen rahimani wa rahimakumullah,
Observe that today we are living in the realm of An-Nifaq (hypocrisy) whereas, Allah SWT hates nifaq very much. The obvious proof of our nifaq is that, since this nation had been bestowed independence from the kafir nation, we have declared open opposition to Allah Azza wa Jalla under the name of union and the unity of the nation i.e. erasing the kalimah ... the obligation of implementing the Islamic Shari’a for its adherents... from the foundation of this nation.

Allah Azza wa Jalla says:
“Have you not turned your vision to those who declare that they believe in the revelations that have come to you and to those before you? Their (real) wish is to resort together for judgement (in their disputes) to the Evil One (thaghut), though they were ordered to reject that thaghut. But Satan's wish is to lead them astray far away (from the right).

When it is said to them: "Come to what Allah has revealed, and to the Messenger.: You see the hypocrites avert their faces from you in disgust.” ( QS. An-Nisaa’ : 60 – 61 )

From this fatal error, then all the implemented policies and directions of the nation’s governance, regardless of who the ruler is, will always be inviting the wrath of Allah Azza wa Jalla. Because the law and all of its derived regulations make the minds and carnal desires of men as the source of the laws for regulating the hundreds of millions of people and they throw away the holy source of the laws from Allah Rabbul ‘Alamiin i.e. the Qur’anul Kariim and the Sunnah Ash-Shariif except as a learned theory only.

Allah Azza wa Jalla says:

“If the people of the towns had but believed and feared Allah, We should indeed have opened out to them (All kinds of) blessings from heaven and earth; but they rejected (the truth), and We brought them to book for their misdeeds.” ( QS Al-A’raaf : 96 )

Prophet Muhammad SAW said:

كَيْفَ أَنْتُمْ إِذَا وَقَعَتْ فِيْكُمْ خَمْسٌ ، وَأَعُوذُ بِاللهِ أَنْ تَكُونَ فِيْكُمْ أَوْ تُدْرِكُوهُنَّ : مَا ظَهَرَتِ الْفَاحِشَةُ فِي قَوْمٍ قَطُّ يُعْمَلُ بِهَا فِيْهِمْ عَلاَنِيَةً إِلاَّ ظَهَرَ فِيْهِمْ الطَّاعُونُ وَالأَوْجَاعُ الَّتِي لَمْ تَكُنْ فِي أَسْلاَفِهِمْ ، وَمَا مَنَعَ قَوْمٌ الزَّكَاةَ إِِلاَّ مُنِعُوْا الْقَطْرَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ وَلَوْلاَ الْبَهَائِمُ لَمْ يُمْطَرُوا ، وَمَا بَخَسَ قَوْمٌ الْمِكْيَالَ وَالْمِيْزَانَ إِلاَّ أُخِذُوا بِالسِّنِيْنَ وَشِدَّةِ الْمُؤْنَةِ وَجَوْرِ السُّلْطَانِ ، وَلاَ حَكَمَ أُمَرَاءُهُمْ بِغَيْرِ مَا أَنْزَلَ اللهُ إِلاَّ سَلَّطَ اللهُ عَلَيْهِمْ عَدُوَّهُمْ فَاسْتَنْفَدَ بَعْضَ مَا فِي أَيْدِيهِمْ ، وَمَا عَطَّلُوا كِتَابَ اللهِ وَسُنَّةَ نَبِيِّهِمْ إِلاَّ جَعَلَ اللهُ بَأْسَهُمْ بَيْنَهُمْ .

"How are you in the event of five cases, and I seek refuge in Allah hopefully the five cases would not happen to you or you would not see them, namely:

1. The act of fornication is not visible on a people, done openly, except it is visible on them epidemic diseases and hunger that have never been encountered by our ancestors.

2. And a people do not withhold the zakat, except it is withheld for them by Allah the falling of the rain from the sky, supposing there were no livestocks, there will certainly be no rain falling down on them.

3. And a people do not reduce the measurement and scale, except they are tormented by Allah with misery for many years and the difficulty of the necessities of life and the corruption of the rulers.

4. And those of their leaders do not rule with other than the book sent down by Allah, except they will be dominated by the enemies who seized a part of their dominion.

5. And they do not waste away the book of Allah and His Prophet, except Allah creates harms among themselves."

(HR. Ahmad and Ibnu Majah)

The reality that was shaped from the denial against the blessings of Allah in the form of this Dienul Islam, shows how this nation has faced what had been the concerns of Rasulullah SAW above. Furthermore, this nation is as if not feeling guilty by continually fighting against the Wali’s of Allah in the form of enmity, arrest and murder that they constantly commited against those who are consistent in struggling to raise high the kalimatillah, in the form of a realization of the implementation of the Islamic Shari’a in this country.

Whereas, Prophet Muhammad SAW had said:

"Verily, Allah Most Holy and Most Great says: 'Whosoever shows enmity to a Walī (Friend) of Mine, I have declared war upon him.'" (Narrated by Imam Bukhari from Abu Hurairah RA)

O Muslimeen rahimani wa rahimakumullah,
The perpetrators of injustices and those who are silent against injustices are basically in the same position, whereas Allah SWT has forbidden injustices on His Most Holy Self (Dzat) and He also forbids injustices on his slaves.

If Allah SWT then inflicts disasters in its many shapes, then all those are still within the context of His Rahmah so that mankind will return to the true path, namely the way that He has revealed through His Prophets. That path is the return to the Dienul Islam in its entirety, covering the Islamic aqeedah, shari’a and akhlaq which are straight and true.

Of course we are grieving with the many losses of properties and lives, as well as the various sufferings endured by the people caused by the calamities that keep on happening. Therefore, as people who have iman, it should be that all those disasters are regarded as a warning from Allah SWT and we ought to take important lessons from all the calamities which are invaluable remembering the huge losses of properties and lives. And we should not be ignoring them, let alone having bad thoughts about the taqdeer from Allah Azza wa Jalla.

We heard that there are leaders of this nation who commented about the non-relatedness of the natural disasters with the wills of their Creator. We also know that there was a journalist who blamed Allah as cruel, Glory be to Allah, Most Pure from their jahil characterization. Thus, those natural disasters are instead hardening their hearts and darkening their consciences further. Why are they still unmindful and not repenting immediately?

O Muslimeen rahimani wa rahimakumullah,
There is no other way if we wish to improve the situation of this nation but to return to the teachings of Allah SWT and His Rasul i.e. by applying the Dienul Islam in all aspects of life. The fatal error committed by the founding fathers of this nation must be corrected and not idolized. This state and nation should be governed with the Islamic Shari’a, if we continue to go against Allah Azza wa Jalla, then think: will you win? Allah will always be the Living One with all of His Greatness, while we will die and we will be helpless in His Court in yaumil Qiyyamah later.

Such was this Tadzkirah (reminder) we conveyed to you, alhamdulillahi Rabbil ‘alamiin, was salatu wa sallamu ‘ala Muhammadin wa ‘ala alihi wa sahbihi ajma’in!

Taushiah From Ustadz Abu Bakar Ba’asyir Regarding The Essence Of The Hijriyah Year

Friday, 3rd December 2010, when visited in his cell at Bareskrim Mabes Polri (Criminal Investigation Police HQ), Ustadz Abu Bakar Ba’asyir gave his taushiah about the new year of 1432 Hijriyah. What exactly is the essence from the determination of the Hijriyah calendar by Khalifah Umar bin Khattab? The following is the excerpt from the taushiah by Ustadz Abu Bakar Ba’asyir:

Umar bin Khattab established the Hijriyah year based on the event of Hijrah. It shows that the hijrah is very important. Hijrah can be interpreted in both linguistic and true sense of interpretation.

Hijrah is actually a realization from the attitude of baro’. So the most important in us discussing the 1st Muharram is that it is obligatory upon us to use the Hijriyah year and it is haraam to use the Christian (AD) year. Included in having wala’ to the kafir is the usage of the Christian year, therefore it is haraam! So the Muslims must use the Hijriyah year.

Then, Rasulullah also made it a sunnah to fast on the days of ash-shura but starting from the 9th and then on the 10th and 11th (of Muharram) because if only on the 10th it is the same as emulating the manner of the Jews.

The most important is that the hijrah is a realization of the baro’. For the Muslims, if they see shirk, they must free themselves of it, fight it and if not possible, yeah... do hijrah. In addition, the hijrah is to prepare for the strength just like Rasulullah doing hijrah from Makkah to Madinah. The Islamic ummah certainly need to have the force of arms, it's a must! There is no excuse!

So, why did Sayyidina Umar take up the Hijriyah year? It is to show how important hijrah is as the realization from Al-Baro’. Thus, if the Islamic ummah see munkar, if they are not able to destroy it, they must leave.

Plus, the Islamic ummah must do hijrah from the country which is not an Islamic country. Such as this Indonesia, hijrah from it is a must, this is a shirk country! It is haraam to live in a shirk country! But then again we are not able to do hijrah, and if we are not able.. then yes... fight! And we must not be silent.

Thus was the excerpt from the taushiah by Ustadz Abu Bakar Ba’asyir, an ulama' who have applied the concept of hijrah in the journey of his struggle. Then, it should be that the Islamic ummah is aware that hijrah is a realization from the attitude of baro’ (anti-loyalty) and the attitude of baro’ is a prerequisite of the ‘aqeedah of this dien, where it would not be possible for a man to be said as having iman without practicing this baro’ in his life.
