Between Gayus And Ustadz Abu Bakar Ba'asyir

The news about Gayus Tambunan, a corruption case prisoner, escaping from custody at Mako Brimob is shocking this republic. Why not, the prison of the Brimob Command HQ is known as a high security prison, but lately this status is fading away when the suspected corruptor, Gayus Tambunan, was free to roam out of jail to enjoy a holiday in Bali. Not long after that, Gayus was soon taken back to jail, he was not alone but invited along a police officer who helped him to escape.

This position contrasts with Ustadz Abu Bakar Ba’asyir. He is a charismatic ulama' in this country, who is known to have no “protective screens” in delivering da'wah. Since the New Order, he is an ulama' who had very firmly and courageously opposed the application of the Pancasila as the unique philosophy of the state (an ideology manipulated by the authoritarian regime of Suharto), until at some point in the Newest Order (referred to by some people as Reformed Order) that unique philosophy of the state was finally revoked. If we look right, it was actually Ustadz Abu Bakar Ba’asyir who, from the beginning, struggled against the unique philosophy of the state of Pancasila, which had caused him to be frequently thrown in and out jail. But what form of recognition is given in return by the government to this elderly ulama'? Prison! Yes, that's what he is feeling in his own native country.

When compared to Gayus, there are some things which are very ironic, discriminative and tyrannical in the conducts of the rulers of this country on Ustadz Abu Bakar Ba’asyir who is currently detained in the Bareskrim (Criminal Investigation Agency) of the POLRI (Police of Republic of Indonesia) Main HQ.

Firstly, before the arrest of Gayus Tambunan, the POLRI had repeatedly sent summons letters to him. This summons is a standard police procedure against the people who are to be investigated on a case. When the person going to be investigated does not turn up, then the police will usually make him as a DPO (wanted person), who has to be arrested.

Ustadz Abu Bakar Ba’asyir, until the time he was arrested, was never given a letter of summons by the police. Whereas, Ustadz Abu Bakar Ba’asyir had many times said that he was ready to be called to the police stations at any time. And until the last moment of his arrest, Ustadz Abu Bakar Ba’asyir was never included in the police wanted list at all.

Secondly, Gayus Tambunan was arrested because of a disgraceful case that violates the religious rules, as well as the rules of the State. The corruption case of Gayus has reputedly caused the state to lose up to billions, or even trillions of rupiah.

While, Ustadz Abu Bakar Ba’asyir was arrested precisely because of carrying out religious orders, and it was laden with the interests of America.

The activities of Ustadz Abu Bakar Ba’asyir all this time was no other than conducting da'wah to the Islamic ummah, anywhere, starting from the state leaders to the ordinary people, for the implementation of the Islamic Shari’a in Indonesia. Why? Because this Muslim majority country should see the independence as a gift from Allah and they should be grateful for it by administrating the country with the Islamic system, not a secular system of democracy that is contrary to Islam.

The accusation which once was hurled at him, that he is connected to a series of bombings, was also never proven at all.

Next is the evidence of the existence of American interests. Since the first arrest of Ustadz Abu Bakar Ba’asyir, it had been expressed by an envoy of the White House named Tom Ridge during the time of Megawati's administration. Tom, without hesitation flatly put across the message of America. The content of which was, “Abu Bakar Baasyir must be brought to trial in a different way.” The speech was itself explicated by Frederick Burks, the language translator, who at that time was used by Tom in a meeting with a Mega in the District Court, South Jakarta.

If in the era of Megawati, where SBY became the Minister of Law and Security Policy Coordinator, when he was on a visit to America in 2003, he stated, “I love the United State, with all its faults. I consider it my second country.” And today it is possible that SBY has proven his words, by arresting Ustadz Abu Bakar Ba’asyir, using the charges of “terrorism”, in the interval of only two days after he vented that he was receiving terror threats.

Thirdly, the arrest of Gayus was more honourable than the arrest Ustadz Abu Bakar Ba’asyir, whereas Ustadz Abu is an ulama' and Gayus is no more than a thief of the public money. “Gayus was intercepted in Malaysia before being brought to Indonesia, but when Ba’asyir was arrested it was similar to the attack on Mavi Marmara ship by the Israeli military.” This had been disclosed by Ustadz Abdurrahman, the Kathib of Jama’ah Ansharut Tauhid (JAT).

Fourthly, while in custody, Gayus Tambunan can freely go in and out of prison. Just imagine, from the data obtained, it had been 19 times that Gayus went in and out of prison in August and September 2010, as many as 24 times in October 2010 and so far in this November, Gayus had already been out of the detention centre as many as two times.

Whereas, as for Ustadz Abu Bakar Ba’asyir, he is even prohibited to perform acts of ibaadah. From the ‘Eidul Fitri prayer to 'Eiddul Adha, he was never allowed at all to pray outside. So repressive are the conducts of the police of this country, to the extent of prohibiting the most fundamental human right i.e. ibaadah. Where is the constitution of this country which they say guarantees the freedom of worship, have the contents of the article been deleted???

Thus were the discriminatory and oppressive treatments by the rulers of this secular country on an elderly ulama’. And surely Allah would not just stand aside when his slaves are oppressed. As a proof, Allah keeps on exposing the depravity of this country's law enforcement institutions. Starting from the discovery of the cases of judicial and tax Mafia through Gayus, and then the case of the fat bank accounts of the POLRI at the end of the office term of Bambang Hendarso Danuri, to the recent bribery case of Gayus at Mako Brimob when it was only a few days after Timur Pradopo served as the new Chief of Police. If the law enforcement institutions continue to arbitrarily punish the ulama’s and mujahids, just wait, what other humiliation and adzab would be inflicted on the oppressive institutions of this country!

JAKARTA – What’s the latest news and condition with regards to Ustadz Aman Abdurrahman (may Allah SWT free him) in prison? According to a reliable information, Ustadz Aman at this time is being increasingly oppressed! He has been transferred to a cell in which the height is only about the level of a person in ruku’ (in solat). Is this so? How can this be let to happen to a Muwwahid Muslim?

Why does Ustadz Aman has to move cell often and be isolated? The fear of the truth (Islam) is the main reason why Ustadz Aman has to endure isolations to this day. The governmental apparatuses are worried that Ustadz Aman, the struggler of tawheed, would continue to provide spiritual recharge to other detainees.

In his footnote, Ustadz Aman stated:

While at the Reskrim (Criminal Investigation Bureau of police), the Densus 88 ordered that I be transferred to the Narkoba (confinement for Drugs cases) , because at the Reskrim, I could fill in the time with ta'lim for the brothers there, whereas the Densus 88 does not like it. At Narkoba, though alone in the cell and unable to conduct ta'lim, some ikhwans, though infrequent, like to send me questions on paper, and even that does not escape the observation of the Densus 88 who have agents amongst the prisoner ikhwans who reported that correspondence to the Densus 88 that I was conducting ta'lim through paper, and the Densus 88 have also often cautioned the ikhwans to not be near or chat with me because I am “dangerous” or “his mind is too extreme”, so they say. However, the ikhwans like to go against and show an attitude of indifference to those admonitions. Therefore, the only way which is right according to them is to keep me away from the ikhwans by means of isolation, and with it they are reaping the manifold of adzab (punishment) for their kufr and the hindering of others from the way of Allah.

الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَصَدُّواْ عَن سَبِيلِ اللّهِ زِدْنَاهُمْ عَذَابًا فَوْقَ الْعَذَابِ بِمَا كَانُواْ يُفْسِدُونَ

“Those who disbelieved and averted [others] from the way of Allah – We will increase them in punishment over [their] punishment for what corruption they were causing.” [An-Nahl: 88]

They plot, and Allah answers their plots, while victory is certainly with Allah Ta’ala…

O Allah give goodness to this slave of Yours and make this self as the cause for many people to obtain hidayah from You…

Is the latest information about the condition of Ustadz Aman, i.e. he is placed inside a ‘barbaric’ cell (the level of a person in ruku’), true? The Ummah must care and immediately check the truth of this information!

A Risaalah From Behind The Iron Bars: “So That Disasters Will Remain Rewarding”

Amid the many calamities that struck this country (Indonesia), with the much injustice committed by the leaders of this nation on the strugglers of the Shari'a, if only all the Muslims could take lessons from the seemingly never-ending adzab which Allah casts upon us, and mankind immediately repent and return to Allah...

This risaalah was written by an ikhwan who is now being tested and put behind bars (may Allah free all the Mujahideen), he describes how the attitude of the believers should be when calamities befall them and how in time of disasters, we could still obtain heavenly rewards. May this risaalah and tadzkirah be able to provide enlightenment for us all.

Allah SAW says in Surah Ali Imran:

(146 ) وَكَأَيِّنْ مِنْ نَبِيٍّ قَاتَلَ مَعَهُ رِبِّيُّونَ كَثِيرٌ فَمَا وَهَنُوا لِمَا أَصَابَهُمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَمَا ضَعُفُوا وَمَا اسْتَكَانُوا وَاللَّهُ يُحِبُّ الصَّابِرِينَ
.

(147) وَمَا كَانَ قَوْلَهُمْ إِلا أَنْ قَالُوا رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَإِسْرَافَنَا فِي أَمْرِنَا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانْصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ

(148)فَآتَاهُمُ اللَّهُ ثَوَابَ الدُّنْيَا وَحُسْنَ ثَوَابِ الآخِرَةِ وَاللَّهُ يُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِنِينَ

Meaning: "How many of the prophets fought (in Allah's way), and with them (fought) Large bands of godly men? But they never lost heart if they met with disaster in Allah's way, nor did they weaken (in will) nor give in. And Allah Loves those who are firm and steadfast." (146) "All that they said was: 'Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and anything we may have done that transgressed our duty: Establish our feet firmly, and help us against those that resist Faith.'" (147) "And Allah gave them a reward in this world, and the excellent reward of the Hereafter. For Allah Loves those who do good." (148)

Sayyid Quthub rahimahullah, when analyzing the above verses said, "The defeat at the battle of Uhud was the first defeat experienced by the Muslims. Before that, Allah had given them victory at the battle of Badar. As if it was already firmly entrenched in their souls that victory in every war had already become a fixed law of nature. Due to that, when they suffered defeat at the battle of Uhud, they were bedeviled in facing the various trials, as if they had never imagined it before."

Maybe this is why the battle of Uhud is discussed at length in the Qur'an. The narrative flows in such a way that sometimes it is in the form of mercy for the Muslims, sometimes negation, sometimes reassurance, sometimes by giving examples and sometimes in the form of tarbiyah for their souls, streamlining their perspective and as an exercise for them to face the future. Because the road ahead was very long. The events that they would experience would be very severe. The sacrifices they had to muster would be so enormous and the future goals that they wanted to achieve was supreme.

The example given in this verse is general in nature. Not just on a certain Prophet or certain community of people. Allah wants to attach the Muslims with the kafilah of the believers and He wants to teach them about the adab of the believers. Allah wants to illustrate to them that trials are a certainty that happens to all da'wah. Allah wants to attach them to their predecessors, the followers of the Prophets in order to instill in their senses that the believers are close to the believers, as well as embedding in their hearts that the affairs of aqeedah is one. That they are a part of one great forces of Iman!

وَكَأَيِّنْ مِنْ نَبِيٍّ قَاتَلَ مَعَهُ رِبِّيُّونَ كَثِيرٌ فَمَا وَهَنُوا لِمَا أَصَابَهُمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَمَا ضَعُفُوا وَمَا اسْتَكَانُوا

"How many of the prophets fought (in Allah's way), and with them (fought) Large bands of godly men? But they never lost heart if they met with disaster in Allah's way, nor did they weaken (in will) nor give in. And Allah Loves those who are firm and steadfast." (QS 3 : 146)

...How many Prophets had fought in battles with their jama'ah in huge number, their spirits did not weaken in facing the trials, sorrows, hardships and injuries. Their strength did not fade to keep on fighting and they did not yield to the enemies because they were patient. This is the condition of the believers who struggle for their aqeedah and religion.

وَاللَّهُ يُحِبُّ الصَّابِرِينَ

"And Allah loves those who are patient."

…The people whose souls are not weak or giving in, whose spirits do not fade and whose strength do not dwindle. This expression of love from Allah for those who are patient contains the love that heals the wound, removes the sorrow and puts behind the hardship, pain and bitter struggle.

As far as here, this explanation has made a clear picture for the believers about their position in times of trials and hardships, and then continued by illustrating the condition hidden in their souls and feelings. An illustration of adab towards Allah when they are facing a tense situation that shakes the souls, and the distress that are chaining them. But all those could not divert the souls of the believers from turning to Allah. It is not help that they are asking for first. But this is what usually appears first in the psyche of the humans. But what they are asking for is pardon and forgiveness. Confessing their sins and errors before asking for firmness and help in confronting the enemies.

وَمَا كَانَ قَوْلَهُمْ إِلا أَنْ قَالُوا رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَإِسْرَافَنَا فِي أَمْرِنَا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانْصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ

" All that they said was: 'Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and anything we may have done that transgressed our duty: Establish our feet firmly, and help us against those that resist Faith.'"

They do not ask for delights or wealth. In fact, they don’t even ask for rewards and repayments. Not asking for repayments in this world, as well as the hereafter. They are very ethically courteous towards Allah in making do’a to Him when they are fighting in the cause of Allah. Nothing that they ask from Him except for forgiveness of sins and the solidification of footholds, as well as assistance in order to defeat the people of kufr. To the extent that they don’t even ask for assistance for their own selves, but what they ask is the defeat of the kafir as a punishment for their kufr. This is a very proper adab for the people who have iman towards Allah, the Most Sublime.

They do not ask anything for themselves. So Allah then gives to them everything that becomes a fantasy for the seekers of the world, in fact even more. Allah also gives to them what becomes a fantasy for the seekers of the afterlife:

فَآتَاهُمُ اللَّهُ ثَوَابَ الدُّنْيَا وَحُسْنَ ثَوَابِ الآخِرَةِ

"And Allah gave them a reward in this world, and the excellent reward of the Hereafter."

Allah SWT also testifies that they are the people who do good. They have been well mannered, conducting jihad well and Allah expresses His love for them. This is greater than the joys and rewards.

وَاللَّهُ يُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِنِينَ

"For Allah Loves those who do good."

As far as here, this treatise ends. It contains the various big truths in the view of Islam. The episode this time serves as a tarbiyah for a jama'ah of Islam. A jama'ah which is prepared for the Islamic ummah in all generations (Fi Dzilalil Qur'an).

Therefore, let us accept sincerely what have happened by hoping for rewards with Allah, do not be fooled by the people who give up, who are more concerned with the pleasures of the world than with Iman dan Islam. Let us be true to our Lord. Let’s unite the ranks and tidy up our program. May we be able to feel the joy with victory someday.

(Ar Ruum : 4) وَيَوْمَئِذٍ يَفْرَحُ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ

Meaning: "On that Day shall the Believers rejoice."

Obama Exhorts The Ummah To Do Shirk & Mustofa Ya’qub, Board Chairman Of Masjid Istiqlal, Agrees

A piece of paper containing a handwritten note from the President of America, Barrack Obama, regarding the special impression on his visit to Masjid Istiqlal, was received by the Grand Imam of Masjid Istiqlal, KH Mohammad Ali Mustofa Ya’qub, on Wednesday 10 November 2010.

However, the handwritten note from the President of America, who himself had admitted to be Christian, although was seemingly inviting toward “goodness”, whether intentional or not, contained an offer that leans towards shirk (idolatry). A form of belief which is very much prohibited by Islam, in fact it is the peak of all munkar.

It is reflected in the last part of the note written by President Obama: “…. I hope my visit promotes greater understanding between peoples of different countries and different faith for we are all children of God.”

The last line contained the words “we are all children of God.” This sentence is an invitation to shirk because in Islam, Allah Ta’ala clearly says:

Say: “He is Allah, the One and Only. Allah, the Eternal, Absolute. He begetteth not, nor is He begotten. And there is none like unto Him” (QS Al-Ikhlas 1-4).

Thed offer by saying “we are all children of God” is reminiscent of the incident put forward by the kafir Quraysh for what today is more or less called “inter-religious prayer”, but Allah Ta’ala right away sent down Surah Al-Kafirun, in which the content firmly rejects the offer made by those kafir Quraysh.

Say: “O disbelievers, I do not worship what you worship. Nor are you worshippers of what I worship. Nor will I be a worshipper of what you worship. Nor will you be worshippers of what I worship. For you is your religion, and for me is my religion.” (QS Al-Kafirun 1-6).

The handwritten note from Obama was received by the Grand Imam of Masjid Istiqlal, Kiyai (the most respectful and heritable title of Muslim leader in Indonesia) Hajj Mohammad Ali Mustofa Yakub. The following is the full content of the writing by Obama:

“I am honored to have had an opportunity to visit this magnificent mosque, which stands as a symbol of the role of Islam in guiding the lines of millions of Indonesians. I hope my visit promotes greater understanding between peoples of different countries and different faith for we are all CHILDREN OF GOD.”

How should the Muslims respond?


How do we respond, whereas we know that there is the verse “lakum dinukum waliyadin” ِ(For you is your religion, and for me is my religion)?

Imam Ibnu Katsir connected that verse with the attitude of Prophet Ibrahim AS and his followers towards the mushrikeen:

“Indeed, we are disassociated from you and from whatever you worship other than Allah. We have denied you, and there has appeared between us and you animosity and hatred forever until you believe in Allah alone.” (QS Al-Mumtahinah 4).

Even though that note from Obama is related to the visit to Masjid Istiqlal, but its content was essentially inviting to shirk. Because as Allah Ta'ala has explained:

“Never will the Jews or the Christians be satisfied with you unless you follow their form of religion. Say: "Indeed, the Guidance of Allah is the (only) Guidance." If you were to follow their desires after what has come to you of knowledge, you would have against Allah no protector or helper.” (QS Al-Baqarah 120).

For the Islamic ummah, the utterance of “insha Allah” or “assalamu’alaikum” expressed by Obama on his visit to Indonesia did not necessarily dazzle their Aqeedah. The Islamic ummah still believe more in what Allah and His Rasul have spoken, including: “lakum dinukum waliyadin.” ِ For you is your religion, and for me is my religion, yeah! Mister Obama.

Palestine Helped By Army In White Robes

At the end of January 2009, Dardunah’s house which was located between Jabal Al-Kashif and Jabal Ar-Rais in Qaram Road, was visited by a troop of Jewish soldiers. As usual, all his family members were gathered in the middle of the house.

The son of the family was interrogated, what color was worn by the forces of Al-Qassam? He was interrogated for three days and asked about the same thing again and again, and that unlucky boy told them that the outfits of those forces was black in colour.

“Hey, liar! The forces of Al-Qassam are in white,” the very angry Jewish soldier yelled. That boy was shocked because the forces of Al-Qassam had never worn white uniforms.

According to one of the Al-Qassam fighters, Multaqa Al-Qasami, there indeed were “other fighters” together with them fighting the Jews and this incident had happened to an ambulance driver who was stopped by the Israeli forces.

They asked whether he was from the camp of Hamas or Fatah? That driver replied that he was not from any camp, he was just an ambulance driver.

“The group in white uniform behind you just now, from which camp are they?” the Israeli soldiers asked again.

The ambulance driver was puzzled, he did not see anyone behind him. He said he had no clue what the soldiers were talking about.

A resident of Ta Al-Islam village who wanted to save himself from Israeli attacks found a number of fighters who cried at the stairs of a flat which was half destroyed.
“Why are you guys crying?” he asked perplexed.

“We are not scared of the Jews but we cry because there in the battlefield are a group of fighters in white uniform, fighting gallantly. We don’t know where they come from and who they are,” the fighters explained.

The mystery of the troops in white uniform was acknowledged by the Israelis themselves, the Channel 10 TV station, in their program showed a story about an Israeli soldier whose eyes were blinded because a fighter in white outfits threw sands at his eyes when they were launching an attack on the Palestine fighters.

The same TV station had also broadcasted a story about Israeli soldiers combating the forces in white uniform, who were bearded and did not die even when shot at frantically.

The Khatib of Masjid Izzudin Al-Qassam, in Nashirat Gaza territory, was presented on TV by Al-Quds TV station. According to the Khatib, a fighter had set up a booby trap and suddenly an Israeli helicopter dropped a huge number of their forces, accompanied by armored tanks. That fighter wanted to return to his hideout because he thought that booby trap would not give a maximum effect as the number of the kafir forces was so huge. He had barely left when suddenly a voice was heard saying: “Remain in your place, Allah will strengthen you.”

The voice could be heard repeatedly, making the fighter transfixed, not moving anywhere. He looked around, trying to find out the source of the voice, but he found no one around him.

As soon the tanks passed through the position where the booby trap was set, a very strong explosion went off, resulting in all Israeli tanks destroyed.

Meanwhile, a fighter, Abu Mujahid, who was on guard at a post when he heard a very loud voice of someone uttering tasbih (glorification of Allah), whereas there was nobody around.

Meanwhile, in Southern Gaza, i.e. in Maghraqah, some fighters were laying booby traps. All of a sudden the cable was cut off and the enemy tanks were already near. It was now impossible for them to go and reconnect the cable. Some of them cried, too sad that they could not blow up the Jewish tanks. There was nothing else that they could do. So some of them made a do’a:

“O Allah just as You are not giving us the opportunity to confront them, please also stop them from having the same opportunity”.

Truly the Power of Allah! At the break of dawn, a mega powerful explosion at the location where they had planted the booby traps went off. A lot of the Jewish forces were killed. When examined not even one of the booby traps that they had planted blew up, where did that explosion come from?

A Palestinian fighter told about a strange incident, while being on duty in Jabal Rais, a pigeon flew low and made a strange sound. Where it came from, nobody knows, all the Mujahideen went into hiding when hearing the sound of the pigeon just now.

At midnight, an Israeli sniffer dog detected the weapons storage site and hideout of the Palestinian fighters. The fighters began to panic but one of them said to the dog:
“We are the Mujahideen in the cause of Allah and we are ordered to remain in this place, please move away. Do not cause problems to us.”

Suddenly, the dog sat and extended its front paws while sticking out its tongue. The Mujahideen were surprised. One of them approached the trained dog and gave it some dates. The dog ate the dates and then left the bewildered Mujahideen.

A group of the Mujahid forces of Al-Qassam were surrounded in Tal Ajul, suddenly a very thick fog appeared obstructing the vision of the Israeli forces and thus the fighters managed to escape.

A leader of Al-Qassam, Abu Ubaidah had experienced the same fate. When he was about to launch an ambush on a number of enemy tanks, suddenly a thick fog appeared. But the attack still had to be done and as result five Israeli soldiers were killed.

This is not a mystery, it was actually a help from Allah, the All-Powerful.

Experts: Capitalism Causes Poverty In The World

ACEH – An expert in Islamic Economics from the Banking Development Institute of Indonesia (LPPI), Arie Mooduto, stated that, the capitalist economic system adopted by the majority of countries in the world is one of the many causes of poverty.

"The large number of poor people in the world today, one of its reasons is the capitalist and conventional system," he said in an international seminar on Islamic economics and finance held in Banda Aceh, on 10th October 2010.

It was said that today, there are at least 824 million citizens of the earth who are still poor and it is worrying, one of the reasons is attributable to being victims of capitalism, which only sides with the investors.

According to him, the economic system of capitalism which many countries in the world are adopting, especially the western countries, forgoes the sense of justice from the human beings to the point of giving rise to rampant poverty.

"Our country Indonesia has also embraced capitalism, that the contrast could be seen where in the middle of the luxurious buildings, there are also slum houses belonging to the poor people," said the Director in the Shari’a Field of the LPPI.

Many foreign companies are operating in Indonesia such as Freeport which exploits the earth’s riches in Papua and Exxon Mobil in Aceh, paying no attention to the welfare of the people in the surrounding areas.

"How long has Freeport been operating in Timika, Papua? And what have the people gotten there? The people in Timika, sorry to say, are still wearing 'koteka' (Papuan penis sheath). The people there are still living poorly," Arie Mooduto said.

He said that a large number of world economic experts had admitted that the capitalist economy did not have a clear direction.

According to him, many large companies in the world, which practice the capitalist economic system, eventually collapse after having many assets, because the aim is only to enrich the investors without caring about the welfare of the society.

Arie Mooduto said that the economic system which has more advantages and is all-encompassing in the world is only the Islamic economic system or the Shari’a based.

The Islamic economic system, if applied clearly and fairly, is believed to be able to answer the big problems in today's world, such as poverty.

According to him, the Islamic economic system, one of which functions is to regulate the development of banking (Islamic Banking), has a clear direction and is not found in any other economic system, namely focusing on the welfare of mankind, promoting morals, upholding ethics in the implementation and achieving a balance distribution of income.

"The Islamic economy contains a holy jihad i.e. eliminating poverty from the face of the earth and it has a universal mission," Arie Mooduto said.

"Morals, aqeedah and welfare for mankind are the main things that must be considered in Islamic economics," he said.

It was mentioned that the concept of Islamic economy is already clearly set, based on the Qur’an and Hadith, it is just a matter of practicing it.

KLATEN Indonesia - Thursday, 11/11/2010, a team made up of the Anti-Proselytizing Front of Bekasi (FAPB), Mustikajaya Islamic Ummah Forum (FUIM), Community of Ansarut Tauhid for Disaster Cares (KATIBAH) of Solo and Klaten, Hidayah Social Wallets (DSH) of Klaten, Youths of Muhammadiyah of Kebonarum Province, Masjid Teenagers of Kebonarum Province, Arimathea Forum of Solo and facilitated by the Religious Affairs Office of Kebonarum Province, Kebonarum Province Party, as well as community leaders of Pluneng Village, Kebonarum Province, carried out humanitarian social acts by distributing relief aids to the evacuees of the Merapi volcano disaster who are from the district of Surowono (6 km from the summit of Merapi) which is in the province of Kebonarum. The team have prepared as many as 3 trucks and 2 pickup vehicles of goods which were stored in the National Plantation Inc. (PTPN) Kebonarum. The plan was, the relief goods would be distributed evenly to the evacuees in the province of Kebonarum Klaten.

Approaching the Maghrib prayer, the team distributed new prayer kits such as prayer dress for women (mukena), sarongs, Al-Qur'an and Islamic books, at one site of the shelter i.e. SDN 1 Pluneng to be exact. The evacuees looked enthusiastic in receiving their shares. Such was their enthusiasm that they ran and right away put them on in preparation for the Maghrib prayer. The team held a congregational Maghrib prayer, where Ustadz Wahyu Abdurrahman from the KATIBAH volunteers became the imam. The atmosphere in the evacuee camp suddenly turned religious where a scene like that was not seen before.

After the Maghrib prayer, the women who had not received their prayer kits earlier, wasted no time and took their new mukenas which were just taken from the PTPN, as a lot of evacuees still had not received their allotment on the first distribution (before Maghrib prayer). In fact there were two mothers who kept on nagging, fearing of not getting their mukenas and worrying of missing other gifts, such as Al-Qur'an and Islamic books. But a community leader of the surrounding areas, Mr. Edi Sutopo, who always accompanied us, told them, "Don't worry ma'am, there are still a lot, we have just taken them from the store, you will all get it."

Amid the enthusiasm and spirit of the evacuees in receiving our assistance, came a number of pastors and church activists to the same place. When asked by Mr. Edi, they replied with an excuse that they want to see their people (Christians). When the team enquired Mr. Edi about the arrival of the pastors, he answered, "He may get a report from his people who are here, about the presence of a team who are distributing kits for ibaadah". He continued, "Let them come (the priests), this is already an open war".

At 'Isha prayer, the imam was still Ustadz Wahyu, followed by the jama'ah whose number was much bigger than in the Maghrib prayer earlier. In fact, the available space was insufficient to accommodate them all. In the end, the team laid some mats outside the room to overcome the overflow of the jama'ah. After the 'Isha prayer, the team made an initiative to organize a religious talk as requested by the evacuees, which was filled in by Mdm. Dr. Dewi Purnamawati (ex-church activist).

In her lecture, Mdm. Dewi talked about the story of her life which was smitten by all sorts of trials, from the time she embraced Islam in 1999 until today. The one which left the most impressions on her memory was when she was helping the Jogja earthquake victims in 2006, she saw many of the evacuees being struck by the disaster in this world, and then the missionaries came bringing the disasters of the hereafter, in the sense that they were draining out the aqeedah of the Islamic ummah, which in that case it was the disaster evacuees, to be proselytized. Like her experiences while still active in the churches, when there is a disaster like this, the missionaries would have one jargon "A DISASTER IS A BLESSING", because with disasters a lot of new souls could be proselytized or made murtad. The content of the message that she wanted to convey was, these trials come from Allah, and Allah brings trials due to His love for us, to remind us so that we return and bring ourselves closer to Him.

Proselytizing Efforts Of The Missionaries And The Danger Of Leaving Islam

The former nun told about her life story when changing religion, from the follower of Christianity into the light of Islam. She talked about her life which was always in lies, be it to humans or God, because in Christianity it is naturally allowed to lie for the interests and objectives of the churches or priests.

After nearly half an hour delivering her materials, she disclosed that the greatest happiness for the Christians to get “rewards” from God and the worldly luxuries is in the event of a disaster or calamity such as landslide, earthquake, tsunami, etc. How come? because in the events of a disaster, the people who are afflicted by the disaster have unstable hearts and thoughts to seek God. We may have often heard from the former priests, church activists and also nuns that the slogan of the Christian people and activists in the events of a disaster is “A DISASTER IS A BLESSING, BECAUSE WITH DISASTERS A LOT OF NEW SOULS COULD BE PROSELYTIZED”.

Therefore, we must be careful with the assistance given by the Christians to the people outside of their religion. Not that we are refusing the assistance given by the Christians, but we must really know and really watch over the deals which may be given for a long-term period, as well as medium, because, it is impossible for the Christians (kafir) to be kind to us if they have no hidden agenda behind it. Because Allah has said, which means:

“Never will the Jews or the Christians be satisfied with you unless you follow their form of religion. Say: "Indeed, the Guidance of Allah is the (only) Guidance." If you were to follow their desires after what has come to you of knowledge, you would have against Allah no protector or helper.” (QS. Al-Baqarah 2 : 120)

After the failure of the first Crusade, the Christians began to study and make plans to destroy the Islamic ummah by means of:

1. Destroying the Islamic Governance.
2. Destroying and Eradicating the Qur’an.
3. Destroying the Ideology of Islam.
4. Destroying the Unity of the Islamic Ummah.
5. Corrupting the Muslimahs.

A missionary, Catly, said, "We must use the Qur’an, the most powerful weapon in Islam, to fight against Islam itself, until we can destroy it altogether."

The chairman of the Christian Missionaries Society, Samuel Zueimir, in his holy conference had said, "The task of the missionaries is not to make the Muslims become Christian, but the task is make the Muslims leave Islam, so that they become a creature who has no relation with Allah. Until they give birth to a generation of Muslims who do not pay heed to the greatness of Allah, who like to relax and be lazy, and all their activities in this world are only for the fulfilment of their carnal desires, in all of their undertakings."

Due to that, we must be very careful and vigilant with the ploys of the enemies of Islam, and it is also necessary to develop preventive measures for our siblings, relatives, neighbours and families specifically and the Islamic ummah generally, so that that we do not fall into the trap holes of those missionaries, because their movements today have reached areas where the basis of Islam is strong. Allah says,

“O ye who believe! save yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is Men and Stones, over which are (appointed) angels stern (and) severe, who flinch not (from executing) the Commands they receive from Allah, but do (precisely) what they are commanded.” (QS. At-Tahrim 66 : 6)

Besides us knowing, anticipating and averting the efforts of the missionaries, we must also convey to the Islamic ummah specifically, and the society at large the DANGER OF MUSLIMS LEAVING THEIR RELIGION. For example, we give them the understanding that if the Muslims leave their religion, then all their good deeds that they had done all their lives will be wiped out. And in the akhira, Allah will right away throw them into hell without first being brought to account. This is different from the people who are still Muslims in the end of their lives, because if a Muslims dies and he still brings with him sins (except the sin of shirk), he still have a chance to enter paradise after being brought to account first.

AGAINST THE FABRICATION OF ‘WAR ON TERROR’

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

إن الحمد لله نحمده نستعينه ونستغفره ونعوذ بالله من شرور أنفسنا ومن سيئات أعمالنا من يهده الله فلا مضل له ومن يضلله فلا هادي له و أشهد أن لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له و أشهد أن محمدا عبده ورسوله

أما بعد فإن أصدق الحديث كتاب الله وخير الهدي هدي محمد { ص ع م } وشر الأمور محدثاتها و كل محدثات بدعة و كل بدعة ضلالة

O Muslimeen rahimani wa rahimakumullah,

A grand event is held every year and attended by millions of Muslims on the Plain of Arafah like what we saw yesterday. By some thinkers and Islamic strugglers, it is hoped to become a Global Mu'tamar (conference) of Islam, a large and sacred meeting which is expected to give birth to various progresses for the welfare and interests of Islam and the Muslims.

But that hope is apparently still a far cry. Various facts that cover all aspects of a Muslim life are still far from what had been delivered by Prophet Muhammad SAW long time ago during the Hajja-tul-Wada, where not long after that he passed away leaving behind his beloved ummah, namely:

فَإِنَّ دِمَاءَكُمْ وَأَمْوَالَكُمْ وَأَعْرَاضَكُمْ بَيْنَكُمْ حَرَامٌ كَحُرْمَةِ يَوْمِكُمْ هَذَا فِي شَهْرِكُمْ هَذَا فِي بَلَدِكُمْ

“Verily your blood, your property and your honour are sacred and inviolable until you appear before your Lord, as the sacred inviolability of this day of yours, this month of yours and this very town (of yours).”

All that were mentioned by Rasulullah SAW above i.e. the blood, property, honour, in fact even the lands of the Muslims, today are invaded and plundered by the people of kuffar la’natulloh ‘alaihi, who instead continue to be entertained willingly and with full honour by the the rulers of this country, who have become their compradors (tentacles). Just like what had been shown to our naked eyes by the rulers of this country the other day, in their warm reception of Obama, the Chief of all the Invader States, which are evil and cruel, in spreading their terrors throughout the Muslim lands.

O Muslimeen rahimani wa rahimakumullah,

Obama’s visit to this Muslim-majority-country and the reception by SBY and his team, which was very warm and open, to the point that one of his ministers who comes from a "da’wah party" as they claimed, had forgotten the Islamic Shari’a viz. by shaking hands firmly with the wife of Obama. And it turned out that it was only that fragment of immorality that adorned the daily news published there in America. Indeed, the behaviours of the rulers of this country have hurt the feelings of the Muslims.

The disaster after disaster that occurred and served as a warning from Allah Azza wa Jalla are still unable to shake the conscience of the leaders of this 'Land of the 1001 Disasters'. Instead, they just thickened their cosmetics and put on the masks of self-image projection. Whereas, Allah Azza wa Jalla says:

“Mischief has appeared on land and sea because of (the meed) that the hands of men have earned, that ((Allah)) may give them a taste of some of their deeds: in order that they may turn back (from Evil).” ( QS Ar-Ruum : 41 )

The various disasters that arose are the result of some of the human acts, so that the humans would want to return to the teachings of Allah SWT. What’s even stranger; the ranks of officials may have forgotten the verses of the Qur’an - so it is natural if they believe that the events and natural disasters are not related to anything except that they are just ordinary natural phenomena. In fact, they even seemed to forget the power of Allah, the Creator Who is All-Powerful, over His creations. Yet, it is a different story if the expression comes from an Ulama’ and Grand Imam of Masjid Istiqlal-cum-Principal of the Hadith and Qur’an Science Institute. He conveniently praised the personality of Obama as someone who is intelligent, positive thinking, friendly and open. Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji’un!

What other disaster is greater than the slip-up of the ‘alim which results in the destruction of religion? Does he live in an isolated mountain that he is oblivious to the evils of America against Islam and the Muslims, where Obama is the leader? No brothers, he is someone who lives in Jakarta where all access to informations could be obtained very easily. In fact, he is a citizen of a country which they say have the statement “all colonization on this earth must be abolished” in the opening of its its Constitution.

The biggest problem is not on the awareness or ignorance of someone in the like of a Guru and Grand Imam of the biggest Masjid in South East Asia, the core of the problem is in the matter of Iman. A false Iman that is blunt from sensitivity. Look at how Rasulullah SAW related someone's Islam with his sensitivity on the situation of the Muslims:

“Whoever who does not care (ihtimam) about the affair of the Islamic ummah, then he is not among them” (HR At-Tabrani)

This ‘Big Person’ is as though forgetting the policy of Obama which prolongs the war imposed against the Muslims in Iraq, Somalia, Philippines and Afghanistan. He is as if blind to the vicious bombings in Gaza committed by Israel under the support and protection of America. In fact, the kafir country has nervelessly plundered the natural wealth in every corner of this country’s territories. How could the fingers of these hands, which are always purified by the wudhu’, shake firmly the hands that continuously sign the heinous and evil policies of America, and are smeared with the bloods of the Muslims?

If Mount Merapi erupts today and causes not a few casualties now, but later in life, all the volcanic materials it spews will be useful for the earth and future generations. So with a heavy heart and complete sense of concern for the victims of the Merapi eruptions, we can still give hope about the goodness that would be obtained by mankind in the future, especially if mankind immediately return with repentance to Allah SWT. Then all the pains that they are experiencing today will, Insha Allah, turn into blessings in the sight of Allah, the Most High.

However, when there is a damage on the religion caused by the 'alim, then nothing will be expected except deviations and eternal sorrow for the community of mankind. Stop hoping that Obama will convert to Islam, he instead feels that he had done goodness with his evilness. Like what had been disclosed by a Saudi ulama' named Shaykh Abdul Muhsin Al Ubaikan who legalized the American atrocities in Iraq as something that is proper and right. However, the body language of this prominent scholar of ours and his verbal expressions are worse than that.

O Muslimeen rahimani wa rahimakumullah,

The global war against terrorism which was thrummed by America, and followed by its allies from the groups of Christian and communist countries, as well as the countries populated by Muslims that have submitted to America, is essentially a war against Islam and the Muslims, because the fact is, all those labelled as terrorists or terrorist organizations are the Muslims and Islamic organizations who/which are firm against and not wanting to compromise with America and its allies.

America and its allies have dropped thousands of tons of bomb in Iraq and Afghanistan, slaughtering the Muslims regardless of whether they are armed or not, murdering and humiliating Muslim women, even kids. But the UN does not list America and its allies as terrorists, why?

Because the UN, according to Muhammad Iqbal, is not more than an embodiment of the parliament of Iblees whose prime vision is to prevent the revival of the Muslims toward the success of Islam. The UN legitimizes the new style colonization of the Muslims countries by the kuffar West.

And that kufr is a Millah (ملة), so it is obvious that anyone or any country, as long as he/it does not make Islam his/its ideology, will surely target Islam and the Muslims as a common enemy. Their ability in destroying the potentials and strengths of the Muslims was done by first using the label "Terrorist". Because, this word is understood by the public as an extraordinary crime which can be ascertained that when the word “terrorist” is pinned on a Muslim or a group of Muslims, then practically he or that group will become a common enemy, while the definition of terrorism becomes their monopoly, how terrible! They freely bulldoze and slaughter anyone accused as terrorists.

O Muslimeen rahimani wa rahimakumullah,

Based on the taujih nabawiyah from Rasulullah SAW in his hadiths, there appears a bright spot and hope for the Islamic Ummah, about the return of the Caliphate which will be guided by the Prophetic Manhaj. A united political order of the Islamic world will be back once and for all before the dunya is destroyed by Allah Azza wa Jalla with the chaos of the Qiyamah (end of the world) that He promises.

The group of the Muslims who will incite this noble idea are those whom Rasulullah SAW named as Tha'ifah al-Mansoorah just like what he said in his hadith:

“There will always be a group amongst my Ummah who is triumphant upon truth, abandoning them will not harm them, until the order of Allah is given and they will be like that (triumphant)”.

Narrated by Muslim from hadith Tsauban RA and the same narrated by Bukhary and Muslim from hadith Mughirah bin Syu’bah and Mu’awiyah RA and narrated by Muslim from Jabir bin ‘Abdillah RA.

Whereas the path trodden by this group is Ad-Da’wah wal-Jihad in the true sense of Shari’e meaning. The da’wah here could be interpreted as an effort to make changes from a situation that is threatened by the adzab of Allah, to a situation which is promised with the descent of His rahmah, maghfirah and ridha. While Jihad is the effort that can ensure the straight operation of those positive changes and the continuation to the whole world. Both of these efforts cannot be separated from each other, to the point of making them antagonistic dichotomies .

Therefore, the Da’ies who are led by the true Ulama's are the partners of the sincere Mujahideen. Creating a gap between these two groups is clearly an action that would harm the character of the Tha'ifah al-Mansoorah itself. So if there is a group who claimed to be the followers of the Salafi manhaj but are nullifying Jihad by giving bid’ah prerequisites on the implementation of Jihad, to the extent of criticizing and being hostile towards the Mujahideen, then they are certainly not the genuine Salafi. On the other hand, whoever claimed to be conducting Jihad but is recklessly hostile towards the Ulama's and keeping away from 'ilm because of considering it as causing difficulties or whatever the reasons, then indeed he is also not a true Mujahid.

The Tha'ifah al-Mansoorah should contain the two special groups of this ummah, namely the Ulama's who inherit the knowledge and emulate the noble character of prophethood, and the sincere, intelligent, skilled and courageous Mujahideen. Where the two are in synergy together in obedience to the Allah Azza wa Jalla. Insha Allah, with such harmony of these two groups then all the efforts of ‘terrorism fabrication’ can be broken off, in fact Islam and the Muslims will regain the glory, in the same way it had been attained by the righteous predecessors of this Ummah.

As long as the harmonization and synergy of these two special groups (Ulama’s and Mujahideen) is not achieved in the arena of deeds, then the struggle of the Muslims will not gain the ultimate victory. WAllahu Ta’ala A’lam.

اللهم لا تجعل مصيبتنا في ديننا ولا تجعل الدنيا أكبر هــمنا ولا مبلغ علمنا ولا تسلط علينا من لا يرحمنا
اللهم انصر المجاهدين في كل مكان واجمع كلمتهم وثبت أقدامهم وانصرهم علي عدوك وعدوهم وانصرهم نصرا مؤزرا
اللهم أنج المجاهدين المسجونين والغارّين بدينهم في كل مكان
اللهم العن كفرة أهل الكتاب الذين يصدون عن سبيلك ويكذبون رسلك و يقاتلون أولياءك . اللهم خالف بين كلمهم وأنزل بهم بأسك الذي لا ترده عن القوم المجرمين
ربنا آتنا في الدنيا حسنة و في الآخرة حسنة وقنا عذاب النار
ربنا تقبل منا إنك أنت السميع العليم و تب علينا إنك أنت التواب الرحيم
سبحان ربك رب العزة عما يصفون و سلام على المرسلين . والحمد لله رب العالمين

The man was tortured, treated lower than animals. Like having no feeling, the accursed soldiers of Pakistan dragged the old body which had no clothes on.

As is well known, the accursed soldiers have joined forces with America in fighting against Islam and the Muslims in Pakistan on the pretext of eradicating terrorism (read: eradicating the Mujahideen and their supporters - ed).

They behave like animals, in fact they even match up, if not exceed, the sadism and brutalities of their mentor America themselves in torturing and killing Muslims. It came as no surprise that they did all this for the sake of their master, America.

The practices of atrocity committed by the Pakistani puppet army or better known as NaPak Army had happened many times. They do it for the sake of money, to the extent of committing ruthless murder, and they would impulsively intern any innocent Muslim and make the victim's family pay the ransom. There have also been many cases which prove that the captives that they thought to be Taliban had ended up in cruel death in detention.

The accursed Pakistani military frequently arrest as they like and normally those arrested are the people who are against the tyranny of America which massacres Pakistani civilians through their predators. Tribal chiefs and people who dare to oppose the tyranny, also become the target of the accursed Pakistani forces. Insha Allah, their bravery will be rewarded with shaheed.

Besides the military, the Pakistani media also support the war of America against Islam by hiding all facts and blaming all bombings attacks, which manifestly are carried out by Blackwater, on the Mujahideen to defame them.

“This is a warning from Allah, the disaster will be even greater if the leaders of this Nation do not return to Islam, this is in the verses of Allah: ‘And if only the people of the cities had believed and feared Allah, We would have opened [i.e. bestowed] upon them blessings from the heaven and the earth, but they denied [the messengers], so We seized them for what they were earning.’ (Q.S. Al-A'raf : 96).

In essence, the one and only way to overcome the problem is by us going back to Islam, there is no other way, but to remodel this Nation to become an Islamic Nation, fullstop! If not, there will still be disasters.

So, the disasters is clear, like in the words of Allah mentioned earlier; If supposing the population of this country have iman and taqwa, ‘We would have opened [i.e. bestowed] upon them blessings from the heaven and the earth, but they denied [the messengers], so We seized them for what they were earning.’ (Q.S. Al-A'raf : 96).

This Indonesia, since its independence, is amongst the deniers of Allah, refusing to use the law of Allah in regulating the Nation. So the mistake is, the Islamic ummah themselves are taking part in the denial. Not with the mouths but with the actions. The solution is only one, namely to return to Islam, this Nation must be regulated by the Islamic system.

Thus, we must dare to remind the Islamic society about an Islamic State, but this Islamic State is not a political issue because all this while the struggle to establish an Islamic State was regarded as a political issue, No! This is a requirement by the aqeedah! Anyone who rejects an Islamic State, his shahadah could become void, because it is not possible to practice tawheed without a State, without authority.. that’s a crap!

So the only solution is, the Islamic Ummah must repent and return to straighten up this country with the Islamic Shari’a.

The essence is, the people of Indonesia must repent, starting from its citizens, up to the leaders who claim to be professing the religion of Islam. Now, how to repent? Besides istighfar, yeah, what I have just said, replacing the system of the country with the Islamic system and this is the issue of aqeedah, not politics. We can help them, but when they are willing to be advised."

Thus was his taushiyah to the people of this country about how to properly tackle the disasters which now are arriving one after another, may his taushiyah be heard and implemented so that Allah Ta'ala will rescue us from the various calamities.

The Liberals Refuse To Associate Disasters With The Adzab From Allah SWT

At a time when disasters struck this country incessantly and the Islamic ummah started to do self reflection upon the divine warning, the liberals instead refuse to associate disasters with the adzabs from Allah SWT. According to them, the whole natural disasters that happened are just a natural process. Astaghfirullah, far too much...!

In a discussion entitled "Politicization of Disasters" organized by the Network Union for Pluralism (Sejuk) in Jakarta, Friday (5/11/2010), Ulil Abshar Abdalla, a notable figure of the liberals refuses to acknowledge that the disasters that took place are adzabs from Allah SWT. According to him, there has been a wrong interpretation of the scripture.

"There is some kind of a template in the holy book about disaster. For example, there is a story when the humans were disobedient to God, and then God destroyed the whole surface of the earth. Now, there are currently disasters and these public figures immediately took that template. To me, do not interrelate, this is just a process of nature."

"What is wrong with Yogyakarta, there are palaces there, Muhammadiyah (second largest Muslim organization in Indonesia - ed), also a lot of pesantrens (traditional Islamic boarding schoold – ed). The community of Yogyakarta are religious, but are said to be afflicted by adzab from God. It’s hurting the victims. They have been affected by disasters, and then are further blamed as receiving adzabs."

Not much different from Ulil, the politican of the PDI-P, Budiman Sudjatmiko, who also serve as the speaker in the discussion, hopes that the society, including the officials, would look at the calamities in a rational way. According to him, a disaster is just a process of nature, it is not related to the adzab from God.

"It is only a process experienced by the earth, like the growing human, they are afflicted by headache or flu. It is simply like that. So make the humans a subject of disaster, not an object who sinned and then punished," he said.

General Adzab Does Not Only Happen To Wrongdoers

It is not strange that the liberals refuse to interrelate disasters with the adzab from Allah SWT, that's the typical pattern of their views and thoughts about life i.e. secular or trying to separate between the dunya and akhira. Thus, they often let go and abandon the revelations of Allah SWT, be it the Qur'an or the hadiths, they always give priority to rationality or common sense over the verses of Allah.

They have forgotten and failed to see that immorality has been rampant and amar ma'ruf nahi munkar is no longer practiced, that Allah SWT would send down punishment or adzab to not only the people who commit wrongdoings among them, but it is wide-ranging and no longer selective.

Allah SWT says:

"And fear a trial (an affliction or punishment during life upon this earth) which will not strike those who have wronged among you exclusively, and know that Allah is severe in penalty." (QS. Al-Anfal (8) : 25)

Earthquakes During The Time Of Prophet SAW & Sahabahs

Ustadz Ahmad Syahirul Alim, Lc wrote:

At one time in Madinah, an earthquake occurred. Rasulullah SAW then put both of his hands on the ground and said, "Cool it... it’s not time for you to come yet.'' Then, the Prophet SAW turned to the Sahabahs and said, "Verily, your Lord is giving you a warning... so react (make Allah pleased with you)!"

It seemed, Umar bin Khattab RA remembered that incident. When an earthquake struck during his caliphate, he said to the people of Madinah, "O people, what is this? How soon are the things that you did (from the transgressions against Allah)? If this earthquake occurs again, I will not be with you anymore!"

Someone with the sharpness of ‘the eyes of basirah’ like Umar bin Khattab could feel that sins committed by the people of Madinah, after the death of Rasulullah and Abu Bakar As-Siddiq, had invited disasters.

Umar then reminded the Muslims to keep away from sins and return immediately to Allah. He even threatened to leave them if the earthquake returns. Indeed, the disasters are the “verses” of Allah to show His Power, when mankind no longer cares about His verses.

Imam Ibnul Qayyim in his book Al-Jawab Al-Kafy expressed, "And sometimes Allah shakes up the earth with a terrible shock, creating feelings of fear, khushoo', yearning to return and submit to Allah, as well as giving up sins and remorse for the human errors. Among the Salafs, if an earthquake occurred, they would say, 'Verily, Allah is reprimanding us'.''

Khalifah Umar bin Abdul Aziz also did not stay silent when an earthquake took place during his rule. He immediately sent a letter to all his governors; "Amma ba'du, verily, this earthquake is a warning from Allah to all His slaves, and I have already instructed every city to come out on a certain day, and let those who possess wealth give to charity."

Allah says, “He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself (with tawbah and zakat). And mentions the name of his Lord and prays.” (QS Al-A'laa [87]:14-15). Therefore, say what had been said by Adam AS (when he was evicted from paradise), “O our Lord, indeed we have wronged ourselves and if You do not forgive and love us, we would be the losers.”

And (also) say what had been said by Noah AS, “If You do not forgive and have mercy on me, I am indeed a loser”. And say the prayer of Yunus AS, La ila ha illa anta subhanaka inni kuntu minazzaalimeen, "None has the right to be worshipped but You (O Allah), Glorified (and Exalted) are You (above all that [evil] they associate with You). Truly, I have been of the wrong-doers."

If only both Umar were with us today, they would certainly be angry and rebuke us firmly, because the series of “warnings” from Allah are not heeded by us, in fact we even tend to ignore them. Therefore, before Allah admonishes us harder, this is the time that we are responding to His warnings. Labbaika Ya Allah, we return to You.

So, are we still refusing to repent and return into the embrace of Islamic Shari'a?

In October 2001, when the invading American aerial attacks on Afghanistan began, they had predicted an easy victory by dent of their technological ascendancy and thought that the subsequent armed clashes at the battle fields would be as easy as the initial aerial onslaughts. Being under the delusion of their own propaganda, the Americans believed that they had advantage over the Russians, English, Mongols, Macedonians and Persians who had already faced route in this ancient land.

The Afghan nation’s habitual prudence in testing the strengths and capabilities of their new enemies before embarking on a full scale struggle was mistaken for being signs of weakness of the Afghans. This emboldened the enemy to take on the Afghans on their own land and focused on building grand military bases in the country. Not since the days of Akbar of the Moghul’s India, had anyone been so foolish to bring their armies to the precipitous heights of our heartlands.

However, the inevitable defeat and tremendous losses quickly taught the American generals how futile their venture was. So they abandoned the rural area operations strategy and embarked on another strategy--concentrating on the main population areas. They gave priority to taking control of the southern provinces of Afghanistan. But all praises be to the Almighty Allah, the Mujahideen have foiled their plan.

The brutal I.S.A.F’s failure to hold Marjah and their inability to gain any significant ground in Kandahar or Helmand illustrates utter defeat of the invaders’ strategy. Seeing that they can’t succeed militarily, the enemy has resorted to a new stratagem instead: sowing dissension in the ranks of the Mujahideen by spreading rumors of talks and negotiations between the Afghan puppet government and the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.

By such deception, they hope to create a split within the Mujahideen or alternatively draw away some of the Mujahid combatants from the armed struggle, or at least to demoralize Mujahideen. A thousand thanks to Allah, this ploy of the enemy also went awry. Rather than benefiting the enemy, it exposed how weak the enemy was. In light of the U.S. military’s failures to achieve any tangible results in Afghanistan, naturally, the U.S. public is asking why they went into Afghanistan in the first place and what do they want to achieve?

After the 9/11 attacks in the U.S., Washington reacted like a mad dog, threatening every government on earth on the basis of the evidence that only existed in the figments of their imagination. The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, which wanted to put an end to the chaotic situation created by warlords, was attacked in the most barbaric manner and forced to defend its country and people. The U.S. government never bothered to identify the underlying causes of the 9/11 attacks on its territory nor sought to formulate a rational response to it. Instead it emptied its resources, and now seeks to somehow extricate itself from the quagmire it got itself into.

To date, America has never clarified its goals that are hidden behind attacking Afghanistan except the so-called apparent slogan of war on terror which is a well-known prefabricated pretext. According to a survey conducted among US soldiers in Afghanistan, majority of them do not know what they fight for in Afghanistan and why they are stationed there. It is also not clear, that the American military presence in Afghanistan will ever serve the cause of peace and stability in the region and the world.

It is worth mentioning that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has never carried out any attack against the U.S. nor any other county. For the Afghans, Afghanistan is their land where they live. The people of Afghanistan simply wish to live peacefully according to our Islamic principles and have no higher aspiration than to live and die in defense of our land and our religion. We will continue to defend our honor and land, until any and all foreign forces leave Afghanistan.

As for America, it clearly needs to re-evaluate its objectives in Afghanistan because its presence in Afghanistan serves no valuable purpose for its security and every extra day it stays in Afghanistan, paves the way for its financial melt-down and decline in political stature. America would be far better off if it withdraws its forces from Afghanistan, and instead, engage with people of countries like Afghanistan, on a mutually beneficial and constructive way.

Subhanallah..! Masjid Untouched By Mentawai Tsunami, 50 People Saved

MENTAWAI ISLANDS, Indonesia - That morning, at around 10.00 hr local time, the sky over Sikakap looked gloomy. Outside the house, the soil was still muddy. The trees and grass were still wet after being washed down by the heavy rain throughout the night. Soon, it looked like heavy rain would fall again. Yeah, washing off the grief from the Land of Sikerei.

Outside, the stench of corpses perforated. Unpleasant aromas dispersed, blown by the wind. Indeed, until Friday (29/10), the corpses are still lying on the roadside. My mind immediately thought of the hundreds of the residents of South Pagai holding out in the hills, in a difficult thunderstorm condition. Besides suppressing hunger in the coldness of the night, they also have to fight the disease that was now attacking.

It was apparently true. Heavy rains flushed Sikakap. Not just the rain, but also the storm. In the main post, journalists and volunteers had assembled. As usual, every morning we were ready to comb out the remote villages which had not been touched by the aids. That morning, the team of volunteers and journalists wanted to go to Pasa Puat village in North Pagai. All the houses in the village were destroyed. Lucky, no one died.

We used a wooden boat or long boat for the trip. The vessel was able to load 12 passengers and a few logistics for the evacuees. After a few minutes sailing, we were obstructed by two-meter high waves. Thus, we halted the sailing. After waiting for one hour, the boat which was captained by Dayat continued the two hour journey. All along the way, the boat almost sank because it was filled with water. We reached the destination at about 17.00 hr local time.

From the coast, Pasa Puat village looked quiet. There was no slightest sign visible indicating that it is a village. The residential are was flattened to the ground. Not even a house of the villagers was standing. All were horizontal. Yet, there is one building still standing firmly facing the beach. Yes, it is a masjid. The caretaker of the masjid also survived. His name is Zulfikar.

The day was moving toward dusk. The rain had not let up. Zulfikar looked prepared to perform the Maghrib prayer. In our conversation, this 40 year old chap claimed to have been living in the village since his childhood. Almost equivalent to the age of that masjid, which was built sometimes in the 1960's. "This is the oldest masjid in our village. The original design of the masjid is not there anymore, as it kept on being renovated," Zulfikar said.

Zulfikar narrated, this masjid was not touched by the tsunamis at all on that night. Whereas, its location is not far from the beach. While the houses of the villagers in the vicinity of the masjid were all razed to the ground. It was this masjid that became a place for shelter for the community when the big waves came.

Like a miracle, the sea water only reached as far as the terrace of the masjid. Outside the masjid, Zulfikar witnessed with his own eyes the waves of the tsunami which reached a height of eight meters. "There were about 50 people in the masjid, while the rest of the residents had fled to the hills which are one kilometer away from the masjid. Seeing the masjid untouched by the raging waves, we were amazed. After that we realized that this is God's will," this bearded man said.

Zulfikar and the 50 other residents could not stop uttering words expressing the greatness of Allah. Outside the masjid, the tsunami kept crashing in as many as three waves. No one expected, the tsunami avoided the masjid. "The sea water seemed to split at the mosque, that even the floor of the masjid did not get wet at all," he said.

"The Power of Allah", only that could be said when a masjid in Pasa Puat village, North Pagai Island, here, is stil standing. Even though the houses in the surrounding areas were destroyed after being struck by tsunamis.

The masjid was not touched by the water, as if the water was avoiding it as soon as it came to the fence of the masjid. The water instead went by on the left and right side of the masjid.

Waves as high as coconut trees during the tsunami also destroyed the residential area as far as 100 meters from the beach, but did not take away the life of any of the 321 villagers who inhabited the village.

After twice canceling his visit to Indonesia, Obama, the 44th President of the USA is still determined to come to Indonesia. At the time when this country is struck by endless disasters, is Obama, the Fir’aun ( Pharaoh ) of this century, the ‘predator’ who preys on the Muslims, and the leader of the Crusade, still going to be welcomed on his visit? Why should we reject the arrival of Obama?

Obama Is Not Muslim, But 100 % Jewish

A lot of Muslims are deceived and thought that Obama is a Muslim. This is because, Obama's middle name is Husein, taken from his father who was a Muslim. Obama’s stepfather was also a Muslim, although not a religious Muslim, in fact he did not consider religion as a serious matter. Obama, who was born in Hawaii on 4th August 1961, is a declared Protestant Christian who was devoted and active in the churches. But in truth, Obama is 100 % Jewish.

In one opportunity, Obama was seen wearing the specific Jewish skullcap, the kippah. Accompanied by some Jewish Rabbis, he prayed fervently at the Wailing Wall in Israel. In that of his visit to Israel, while laying down the white wreath at the Yad Vashes Holocaust memorial museum, Obama promised to support and guarantee the security of the Zionist state.

Obama is 100 % Jewish. He is a staunch supporter of the Jews, with the determination to realize the hollow dream of the Jews. The following is the promise made to the The National Jewish Democratic Council (NJDC) on February 2007 before he became the president of America.

“If I become the president of America, then this country must stand shoulder to shoulder with Israel.… Those who have worked with me in Chicago in the state Legislature and now in the United States Senate will testify that I have not just talked the talk, I have walked the walk when it comes to Israel’s security..”

“I promise to you that I will do anything in any capacity to not only guarantee the security of Israel but also to guarantee that the people of Israel can advance and prosper and realize many dreams that were made 60 years ago.”

Since replacing Bush, Obama takes the baton and assumes the leadership of the International Crusade to butcher and finish off the Muslims where ever they are.
Earlier, to attract the sympathy of the Muslims, Obama promised to pull out the entire American forces from Iraq and move the focus of the American military to Afghanistan. However, this proved to be only lip service without any basis!

Although on many occasions, Obama always show himself as not anti-Islam and more of a lover of peace, in truth Obama is not much different from Bush, both are leaders of the Crusader War. Essentially, Obama still continues the policy of Crusade against Islam and the Muslims. America still expands and occupies the lands of the Muslims.

The proof, until recently the United States continues to send troops of slaughterers to the countries of the Muslim, in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the latest is to Pakistan. America had just sent 30 thousand of its troops to Afghanistan. Until now, America, be it with their own hands or through the hands of its puppet countries, keeps on massacring innocent civilians and arresting, torturing and murdering ulama's and Mujahideen in the countries of the Muslims. In truth, the smooth hands of Obama which are wrapped in thick and expensive jackets, are stained and full of Muslim bloods. Na’udzu billah min dzalik!

Obama The Fir’aun Of This Century

If in the past, there was Fir’aun, the symbol of the pride of tyranny which becomes the source of universal wickedness and injustice, then Obama is the Fir’aun of this century. Thus, if there was Fir’aun in the past , then there will be a figure of Musa ( Moses) AS again today, who will bring down that Fir’aun.

Obama, who represents the camp of bathil today, has committed terrorism around the world, to get rid of and wipe out the human life so that the humans will only submit to democracy, the system of his creation. That's also been done by the Fir’aun of the past.

In the past, with all his pride and arrogance, Fir’aun mobilized all his magicians. Weapons of sticks and ropes became their main bets in terrorizing every follower of Musa AS. The slaughterings no longer affected innocent babies only but all who followed the foot steps of Musa AS, even if only having sympathy for him.

It was not only physical terror that was inflicted on Musa AS by Fir’aun, who was assisted by Haman, they also used the war of opinion to frame Musa AS. With the jargon of war against the camp of “Shirzimah-Qalilun”, a term made up by Fir’aun which means “Terrorists and Minorities group” Fir’aun continued to hunt down Musa AS wherever he was.

Today, with the pretext of “War On Terrorism” America under Obama have slaughtered and murdered thousands (if not millions) of Muslims, arrested the ulama's and terrorized every second of the life of the Islamic ummah who want to practice Islam in its entirety. Aren't these heinous acts of Obama similar to the acts of Fir’aun in the past?

Obama The Slaughterer Of The Muslims, His Arrival Must Be Rejected!

Today, in the midst of the disasters and adzabs that struck the ummah, resulting from the disregard for the law of Allah SWT, are we still welcoming the arrival of the murderer of the Muslims i.e Obama?

Indeed, what a heap of stupidity if this country, let alone it citizens, are welcoming Obama with flowers and applause. Aren't the hands and mouth of Obama smeared with the bloods of the Muslims in Afghanistan, Iraq and Palestine, whom he butchered? So very improper if the Islamic ummah are welcoming this player and leader of the Crusade. Not to mention that he is 100 % Jewish and a Fir’aun of this Century. It should be that, the Muslims are rejecting the arrival of Obama!

Obama is not a guest whose visit must be honored as advocated in Islam. Because Obama is of course never a guest. Obama is the murderer of the Muslims in the Muslim countries. Obama is a plunderer and looter of the wealth in the Muslim countries. That being said, is there such a host who wants to give a butcher, plunderer or looter a friendly welcome to his house? Think, O man who has a mind…!
