.
I had to write this letter in the hope that this ummah can see clearly on what I had been accused of, a shameful fitnah put against me, indeed a great fitnah, which can only harm a people because of ignorance, that ultimately we will all regret it.
Whereas, the ummah are taught of how to deal with the incoming news, the Islamic akhlaq guides us to do tabayyun (getting clarification) on the received news, especially if the news are coming from the fasiq people or the enemies, “O ye who believe! If a wicked person comes to you with any news, ascertain the truth, lest ye harm people unwittingly, and afterwards become full of repentance for what ye have done,” (Al-Hujurat verse 6)
This verse contains a very clear message for us all, whenever there is news received, especially if it is from the enemies of Islam who want to make ruin, to slander His soldiers, the blessed people of the Muwwahideen, we are to investigate the news profoundly and it is not dzon (bad suspicion) that is preferred.
This ummah is always accustomed to the news coming from outside, they have forgotten the guidance that Allah gave through His Book. To the point that, without us realizing we had plunged into the puddle of sins, especially the sins that are related to the rights of the children of Adam or fellow human beings, “O ye who believe! Avoid suspicion as much (as possible): for suspicion in some cases is a sin: And spy not on each other behind their backs. Would any of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? Nay, ye would abhor it...But fear Allah. For Allah is Oft-Returning, Most Merciful.” (Al-Hujurat verse 12)
By Allah, actually I do not care too much about the opinions or news that had put me into a corner, particularly about the Mujahideen and Muwwahideen that come from our enemies, they endeavour to kill the character of His fighters, “Their intention is to extinguish Allah's Light (by blowing) with their mouths: But Allah will complete (the revelation of) His Light, even though the Unbelievers may detest (it).” (As-Saff verse 8)
They harm the personalities of His soldiers, they pit us against each other, with heinous accusations that in truth were never done by us but by those fasiq people, the mujrimah and those scoundrels.
Among His soldiers are those who are accused of committing sodomy, infidelity and becoming panders of jihad and so on. And we all know all these things, “those kafirs plot and Allah also plot against them, and Allah is the best of plotters.” Due to that, O Akhi Muwwahid, it is not of a Mu'meen and one is not a sincere Muwahideen or Mujahideen, when later he is easily taken in by the provocation of the enemies and the plots of those criminals of shirk, but we are the sincere ikhwah mujahidin wal muwahidin who have been given tarbiyah from the da'wah arenas and jabhah (fronts) of the jihad trenches, from the jihad madrassas of our Sheikh, Abdullah Azzam, where later we were taken for a ride and how low are their words fouling it with speeches accusing His soldiers nastily.
But the fitnahs, accusations, provocations and the deflaters of jihad are precisely coming from the surroundings of the Muslims themselves, a variety of news that should have been able to neutralize and extinguish the flame of fitnah, have instead become a source of fitnah, where are the adab and akhlaq that you have learned and that you teach from His Kitabullah and Sunnah? It is as if you are very smart, like a football commentator, you disparage us with the accusations of being isti’jal (hasty), infiltrated, impatient and other accusations. While here we are hunted, murdered, bloodied, perspiring with the sweats of exhaustion and captured. So that we are abused and etc., but you are blaming us, disparaging us, which in the end made me the black sheep from this failure. (failure from the aspect of military politic in the version of elhakimi - ed.)
I have to write because of the insistence from ustadzs in the sijjin (prison), lazy and tired to comment on the barking coming from outside and I prefer to be patient with which Insha Allah, Allah would also give me the rewards, Insha Allah.
As for me being a former cop, it is true, once again a ‘former’, I am actually the product of the tawheed da’wah which were called and hoisted by the sincere da’ies. I feel I don’t need to be ashamed to bear the term “former” i.e. a fi’il madi or past verb, as long as it’s not ‘formerly good’, or ‘former good person’ who now is not good.
I was a person who wanted to repent and asked to be given a chance to repent and improve myself with the deeds like what had been exemplified by the best generation of this ummah, namely the sahabahs, “You are the best ummah produced [as an example] for mankind…” (Ali Imran verse 110), "The best people are those living in my generation (sahabahs), and then those who will follow them (tabi’in), and then those who will follow the latter (tabiut tabi’in)" (HR. Bukhari, Tirmidzi) in the book Al-Umdah page 24.
And whoever has many sins, then the medicine for it is jihad because Allah azza wajalla will forgive his sins like what we are told in the Qur’an and Allah says in surah As-Saff verse 12, “He will forgive you your sins, and admit you to Gardens beneath which Rivers flow …”
Were not the repentance of Ikrimah bin Abi Jahal, Khalid bin Walid, Wahshi, Amr bin Ash, followed up with jihad…? Yes. With jihad! They used to direct the swords and spears in the direction of the Muslims, and then they became Muslims and later directed their swords and weapons at the kafir and murtad people, yes akhi. Look at Khalid bin Walid RA who drew his sword against the murtad people and opened the way for the liberation of Iraq and the Roman empire, look at Amr bin Ash who successively campaigned in Yarmuk and was the liberator of Egypt, look at Wahshi who had killed Asaddullah and Sayyidus Shuhada (Lion of Allah and chief of the Shuhada’s) the best man from the uncles of the Prophet, then his repentance was directed to spear the most disgusting man in his time i.e. Musailammah Al Kadzab (false prophet), and look at Ikrimah bin Abi Jahal who himself and along with his father were hostile against the da’wah of his noble Prophet, and then during the futuh Makkah, he was pardoned and later fought in the Ghazwah Yarmuk as Istishhadiyyin. Yes akhi, does someone like me who is the product of the tawheed da’wah has to be ostracized and not given the chance to repent and improve myself by being shaheed in Allah’s path?
I actually had been patient enough with the fitnah and oblique accusations when deciding on this heavy decision i.e. getting out of service (from the police) or ansorut thogut, but was instead accused and slandered as jasus (agent), intel or anything unpleasant on the ear.
The heaviest decision in my life was when I left the system which is not shar’ie, why shouldn't it be heavy: I had to be banished from a large family which is unsurprisingly a large family of police as my father and big brother are in the brown shirt (uniform of the police) corps, thus it was all the police barracks in the surroundings of the house and neighbourhood which had made it necessary for me to be banished from the environment, then I lost my closest peers, in the work place, not only that, in fact even in the jama’ah tarbiyah (PKS), the first place where I took part in da'wah, it was also not devoid of criticisms, but this hidayah had been permeating into this soul, all those did not make me withdraw, by having few friends and numerous people who opposed, doesn't Allah say, “Thou Muhammad will not find a people who believe in Allah and the Last Day, mutually compassionate with the people who oppose Allah and His Rasul, even if it was their fathers, brothers or families”.
It was not motivation and support, much less tausiyah (advice) in patience that I received but accusations from some ikhwahs from whom I really hoped to be accepted sincerely, they did not see that the process of getting out from the service is very difficult, unlike the security guards of a factory or the village guards, where it is easy to resign. But the accusations were non-stop without me knowing exactly what the causes were, and this was what eventually became the thorns in my journey in the Aceh jihad, because these people (may Allah forgive them) continued to bring firewood in Jalin Janthoi (in this case Ustadz Aman and Akhina Yudi know better), I had also raised this issue to Mr. Yahya (Dulmatin), Ustadz Abdullah Sonata and Ustadz Aman.
It turned out that the way to goodness was not as easy as I had imagined, but the way has a lot of curves and holes, and even thorns that were ready to obstruct, but due to the earnestness, Allah has given the way of ease and His way, “And the people who conduct jihad (to seek Our pleasure), We will show them the way and indeed Allah is with the people who do good.”
As for Ustadz Hamzah@Yahya@Dulmatin and Ustadz Mus’ab@Sughoh and Ustadz Urwah@Bagus Budi Pranoto (rhm), who with open arms welcomed my repentance and attitude, their hearts are as clean as silk and glass, that Allah takes them to Him because of their sincerity in this transaction that they can never lose.
These were the people who introduced me to Al-Qaeda and are a pride for me, and made me so touched that I was given a chance to contribute in the path of jihad along with the beloved Sheikh of our kafilah, Sheikh Usama bin Ladin and our beloved Sheikh Ayman Al Dzawahry hafizhahullah anhuma.
In this case I have nothing to do with JAT (jama'ah anshorut tauhid), JI (jama’ah islamiyah), NII (Isalmic State of Indonesia) or any of its branches, MMI (Majelis Mujahidin Indonesia) or whatsoever…. Because we are AL-QOIDA, so do not link me with the jama’ah that moves under the da'wah mentioned. We made the move because we were prompted by our sense of concern towards this ummah, they have been sleeping for too long that it's time to get up from their dream in a long slumber, they are being controlled by the unclean and dirty hands, be it the original kafir or the murtadeen who plunder the wealth of the Muslims by which they perpetuate shirk (polytheism) and kufr (disbeliefs), we only want to declare that our god is ALLAH and be istiqomah with His kalimah, we only want to liberate mankind like Rubi’ bin Amir when confronting Rustum: “we come to free the human beings from the human god” from the narrowness of the world to the vastness of Islam, from the darkness of kufr to the light of Islam, from the tyranny of the rulers to the justice of Islam.
We only want the kalimah of ALLAH to tower tall and the kalimah of kufr collapse. And only with this sword we are drawing towards the neck of kufr, we started laying the foundation stone of tawheed just as our Prophet taught us to be real men.
But then again we are only humans who are certain to have weakness and errors, we are not angels created with no error and always perfect. As for that which afflicts us now: “No disaster strikes upon the earth or among yourselves except that it is in a register (i.e. the Preserved Slate or al-lawh al-Mahfudz), before we bring it into being – indeed that, for Allah, is easy.” (Al-Hadid verse 22)
This is our destiny (takdeer) already determined by Allah Ta’ala.
THE CHRONOLOGY OF THE EXERCISE AT MAKO BRIMOB
.
As for the exercise at Mako Brimob (police mobile brigade command HQ) in Kelapa Dua, it is true. Actually the one who revealed the training in Kelapa Dua for the first time was akhi Mus’ab or Martunis from Bireun when surrendering himself in Langsa (may Allah forgive him) around the end of March 2009. Actually the shooting exercise in Kelapa Dua had been talked about long before the Aceh youths came to Jakarta, at that time Mr. Sutrisno (already arrested for selling firearms for Aceh to myself) offered that if I want to practice shooting, it is possible but I have to pay, because according to Mr. Sutrisno, there are a lot of artists/celebrities or business people or members of PERBAKIN (shooting and hunting club of Indonesia) who usually 'play' there as it costs less compared to the one in Senayan. .
I was interested in the exercise because it had been a long time since I last practiced shooting, since I left or deserted the police, especially that we, who had been posted regionally, are a people who used to train. At that time I already had a small circle (Fiah) where there was a plan for training but on the condition that the pants are lengthened (below ankle) and the beards are shaven (so as not to raise suspicion) because we were going to be practicing in the TIGER den.
Not sure why, but it was somehow cancelled at that time, and because I, along with Sighoh (DPO/wanted) had to go to Aceh for the needs of the daurah (education) of the Aceh youths (Aceh camp). I was in Aceh together with Ustadz Hamzah (Dulmatin) and Ustadz Sighoh, to fill in the program there and provide structures for the ikhwah there so that it would be neater, and at that time we selected one ikhwan to be the Mas-ul (responsible person) for the da’wah tawheed wal jihad which would become the embryo of the Aceh Jama’ah of Jihad.
The materials presented in the daurah:
- Ustadz Yahya (Dulmatin): Amniyah lid’da’wah wal JIHAD
- Ustadz Sighoh (Mus’ab): Imaroh, jama’ah
- Myself: Ukhuwah bainal muhajirin wal ansor
In this case we had not known about the Aceh FPI but one of the participants was akhi Tnk. Mukhtar from Pesantren (Dayah) Daarul Mujahidin -Lhok Seumawe-North Aceh. It was around January 2009 at that time, coinciding with the Israeli invasion of Gaza city which created solidarity in almost all the Islamic world and the West, as well as attracting sympathy at home and a lot of fundraising (sunduk) and munasaroh were set up in various places.
After the daurah, we were invited by Tnk. Ahmad and Tnk. Mukhtar (arrested may Allah give patience to them both) to conduct silaturahim to Abu Muslim or Tnk. Liem (may Allah forgive him, at the end of jihad he turned around and persuaded Tnk. Mukhtar to surrender his weapons to the apparatus) at that time we were with:
- Ustadz Hamzah or Yahya or Dulmatin rhm
- Ustadz Sighoh or Mus’ab hafidzhohullah
- Sheikh Ali, a citizen of Tunisia
- Tnk. Marzuki ra
- Yudi, etc.
This meeting was just a normal silaturrahim, and then I together with Dulmatin and Sighoh went back to Jakarta. Not long after that Yudi asked me to train the youths from the Aceh FPI volunteers (because there was a dispatch mobilization to Gaza), therefore a tadrib askari (military training) was held for four days. Actually I at that time was not inclined to train and I did offer the task to Ustadz Hamzah or Dulmatin. He was also not inclined, and he entrusted it to me. Yudi and Tnk. Ahmad managed to convince me, that this was a good opportunity to increase the number of recruitment of volunteers or prospective Mujahids and in the end I relented with a condition that the round trip airfare would be borne by them, because while in Aceh I was the one who always paid for accommodation, as well as tickets to Aceh.
After two days in Jakarta, I immediately flew to Aceh to conduct the tadrib for them, using the materials that I had obtained while in the military (police). I provided them knowledge such as the PJD or close combat techniques, knowledge of combat techniques, patrol, etc. And it's true, we found them to be a people who were eager for jihad in Palestine for the sake of defending their brothers and sisters, and I fed them a little input about the global jihad. After the 4 days training was over, I straight away returned to Jakarta as it had been a long time that I had not met my children and wife because of the daurah, plus the extra 4 days of tadrib.
End of February, I was phoned by Tnk. Mukhtar that they were already in Jakarta i.e. in Petamburan, Central Jakarta, the HQ of the FPI, to be exact. He was with 17 people from Aceh, amongst them:
- Abu Rimba, Mukhlis, Taufik or Abu Sayyaf
- Ja’far, Abu Kuring, Mus’ab, Syam, Budiman
- Mansur, Tnk. Mukhtar, Tnk. Jalal, etc.
Mukhtar and Tnk. Jalal related to me that the Aceh youths were very infuriated because they felt they had been deceived by Yusuf Al-Qordhowi (may Allah demonize his face) that there was no policy of the FPI to dispatch volunteers to Gaza, whereas the training and the sending to Gaza was the initiative of Yusuf Qordhowi, for him to be able to raise as much funds as possible in Aceh (because almost in every city like Samalanga, Bireun, Banda Aceh, Lhok Semawe, Pidie, sunduqs [infaq boxes] for Palestine were set up to raise funds). I prohibited the youths from ganging up to beat Yusuf Qordhowi (this statement will be further explained by Tnk. Mukhtar).
I did invite the youths to come over to my house, simply for a silaturrahim and advised them to always be patient and not harbouring revenge, and at that time I chose the middle path and let them stayed at my house, at that time there were 7 of them, the rest returned to Aceh.
As for that which had made them angry, it was that they felt they had been fooled in Aceh by Yusuf Qordhowi, because apparently the so-called Aceh dispatch (of volunteers) was a trick and fabrication invented by Yusuf (may Allah repay what he had done).
Secondly, they were embarrassed to return to Aceh as they had already been given the Kenduri Peuseujuk (local custom of giving a farewell ceremony) and in the end they did not even depart for Palestine (in this case, let’s be more objective, let it be explained by all of the youths such as Muhsin, Abu Rimba and Tnk. Muktar) and while staying in Jakarta they studied religious subjects and were given materials by a number of Ustadzs, amongst them:
- Ustadz Abdullah Sonata
- Ustadz Khaidir @ HASAN (DPO/wanted) Ex Afghan 5
- Ustadz Sighoh @ Mus’ab
- Ustadz Hamzah @ Yahya@ Dulmatin
- Ustadz Zein
- Ustadz Sofyan (myself)—Yudi Zulfahri, to fill in their days in Jakarta. They were in Jakarta for over a month and Insha Allah, may it be useful, and I suddenly remembered the promise of Mr. Trisno about the shooting practice in the Mako Brimob, and I at that time had a Revolver gun which I had purchased from Mr. Trisno and we asked him how much it would cost to use the facility and Mr. Trisno said that it's 3 million Rupiah (500+ USD) for 5 persons. I had time to change the appearance of my friends and cut their beards, lengthen down their pants and change the Aceh dialect to the dialect of Jakarta or they would just shut up when asked. It was just me and three Aceh youths. They were;
- Mus’ab @ Martunis (surrendered himself)
- Jakfar @ Heri
- Muhlis @ mu
Before departing for the exercise, we dressed them up as security guards, with grey hats and security guards shirts and at that time claiming to be from Mandiri Bank, because I had invited a friend from Mandiri Bank.
We then arrived there and practised shooting with each person given 10 bullets and a long rifle of a Styer type with 10 bullets, and apparently it's true, when we came there I did see many civilians who came there to shoot with us. See, did I involve the FPI, in the people who participated in this shooting practice, in the Aceh terrorism case lately…? Except for 1 man, who had the quality of easily surrendering i.e. Mus’ab. And do as you please to check with Mr. Sutrisno, he lived in Depok at Laut Aru Rd., Bakti Jaya village, Sukmajaya District, but now he is with me here becoming a terrorism detainee at the Polda (District Police) Metro Jaya.
I was captured on 6th March 2010, at the junction of Narogong highway — Cilengsi, Bekasi, West Java, to be exact. My arrest was due to my impatience in wanting to meet my children and wife at that time.
On 22nd February 2010, after the capture of Yudi and then the discovery of the training in Aceh, I who led Camp 2 in Bireun had accommodated a few people who managed to escape, some of those whom I accommodated had been shaheed, amongst them:
- Saptono (shot in Cikampek)
- Maulana (shot in Cawang)
- Ridwan (shot in Pamulang)
- Hasan @ Black Barry-Philippine (shot in Pamulang)
On 24/2/2010 it seemed that our camp that served as the alternative was also discovered, four of us namely Maulana, Taufik @ Abu Sayyaf, Tnk. Ahmad and myself also managed to escape from the siege, bi-idznillah the four of us traverse down the hills, through plantations and were almost caught and alhamdulillah we reached the road and we went to Lhok Samawe. In Lhok Samawe, we split up into two groups:
I was with Maulana and Taufik with Tnk. Ahmad (involved in the case of hand grenade attack on the UN’s UNICEF office and the shootings of the German and American citizens in Banda Aceh), we went down in Langsa, East Aceh and stayed for the night there. It was the 25th of February at that time, I parted ways with Maulana and that was my last moment with him and the words that I heard was, “If there is life, we’ll meet again akhi, Insha Allah” and I was alone in Langsa and then I contacted my wife to come down to Langsa from Lhok Semawe. We then stayed for the night in Langsa-East Aceh, and heard the news that my weapons, two AK47’s were found by the apparatuses, I could not understand of why the weapons could be found, and I heard from Tnk. Ahmad that those weapons had been piled in the jungle along with 17,000,000 ammunitions and a Revolver 38. Since the weapons had been seized, I took the initiative to buy again in Jakarta, because we wanted to fight to the end but there was no weapon.
Then I decided to go home for a while to collect the weapons, it was said that there were two AK47's and three AR15/M16 and one RPD (machine gun), thus on the 28th I went to Medan and on 1st March I left for Jakarta to leave my second wife in my sister's house, and on 2nd March I arrived in Jakarta by land and had time to spend a night at a friend's house in Depok while viewing the situation which turned out to be gunfights between our ikhwahs in Jantho and the Densus 88 in Lemkabeu. I got these news from the internet and TV. I remembered that the weapons still need to be acquired, so I straight away contacted Ustadz Sonata so that he could contact Ustadz Yahya (Dulmatin) but apparently they did not want to meet up with me again because the situation had already been very tense, and my strength faded away, if thus was the case it was only a matter of time. To prepare for the fight, I took the weapon which was of a FN Browning cal 9mm type with 600 bullets, I made do’a, “O Allah, give me shaheed in Your path.” At that time I learned that the hunt had intensified and I intended to meet my children and first wife, because it could be that they would not see their abi (father) again.
At that time I did not know that I was amongst the main targets after Dulmatin and Sonata, so to me it was not dangerous to meet my wife and children. Whereas, my wife had been monitored and followed 24 hours a day, and it was on that appointment for a meeting which we set to be in the tourist city of Cibubur near Cilengsi that my wife was followed from behind. At that time, I was already feeling uneasy as on the night before I dreamed about myself getting arrested by the police, after spitting 3 times to the left side and saying istighfar, I told this dream to my wife.
The TAXI boarded by my wife strayed for some time in the journey and I had even threatened to thwart this meeting, because it had been almost 30 minutes that I waited by the roadside. Something that is taboo in my opinion, and apparently the Densus had been monitoring me from afar (this I got from the Densus who arrested me at that time) and when the taxi carrying my children and wife came, I then boarded the taxi, and left my brother-in-law who had sent me with his motorbike and he kept on following the taxi from behind. And when we were at the junction of the Norogong Highway, Cilengsi, Bekasi, when we were about to turn right, I noticed our taxi had been obstructed and then I saw armed men stopping and opening the back door of the taxi and directed their guns at me, and at that time I was in the position of holding my second child Abdullah Thoriq Jihadi (3.5 years) and on my left side was my first child i.e. Al Muhandis Yahya Ayyash (7 years), and on his left was ummi (his mother) who was holding our youngest child (Aisyah Syahidah Kamila, aged 10 months). When shocked and stunned, some gunfires could be heard which startled my children that they all cried, then my second child whom I was holding was taken away from me and when looking behind all weapons had been aimed at me, at that time I realized that I would be captured and if I wanted to resist I thought my wife and children would certainly be hit by their bullets as they were very closed to me, my wife and children. Therefore, I was then dragged out and forced to lie facing downward on the road and my shoulder being pressed downward and gunfire was heard again which made my second son cry calling his abi, and my feet and hands were cuffed and my FN gun, wallet and bag were seized and put inside the car. And that incident was witnessed by my brother in law who spread the news to my second wife that Mr. Iyan (myself) had been shot by the police.
What happened on the road just now made everyone knowing me weak, including my 2nd wife (Inong) and my sister and her husband (Mr. Heru), who thought that I had died, and it was afterward that we were harassed further until the next morning to find out about the whereabouts of my friends and from where I got those weapons, that when counted there were altogether 30 firearms and almost 30 thousands bullets found for the experiment of the Aceh jihad. This is just a bit of my experience in journeying through the arena and trenches of jihad, as the sweet fruits from this tawheed da'wah.
We are the ones who are bloodied, wounded, hunted and killed for defending tawheed, while there are still those who have the heart to keep on slandering and in fact even profit from the news about us. Waallahu a’lam allahul musra’an.

Accused As Police Spy, Sofyan Tsauri Challenged The FPI For A Mubahalah
Jakarta – The accused of terrorism, Sofyan Tsauri denied the allegation that adjudged him as a police spy who infiltrated the terrorism network in Aceh. Tsauri even dared to conduct mubahalah.
Mubahalah is when each party from amongst those who have different opinions pray a do'a to Allah earnestly so that Allah would send down His curse on the party who lied.
“The FPI does not know anything about me. I am prepared to conduct mubahalah with Habib Rizieq and Yusuf Qardhawi (Chairman of Aceh FPI),” Tsauri said when asked about the FPI's accusation before his trial began in the State Court in Depok, Boulevard Rd., West Java, on Wednesday (6/10/2010).
Tsauri said that there was no fabrication in the things he did. All are purely for da'wah and tawheed. “Even if the one who accused is Osama bin Laden, I am still prepared for a mubahalah,” he said.
The agenda in Tsauri's trial this time was the reading out of the defendant's objection. Tsauri arrived at the Court at 11.30 AM local time. This ex-member of Brimob arrived in a prison vehicle escorted by 3 plain clothed police personnels. The wife and parents of Tsauri had already arrived earlier. When arriving at court, Tsauri was immediately greeted by his wife and his father.
Tsauri was allegedly involved in distributing firearms and training the youths in the military training in Aceh. Tsauri who is also a police deserter, had indeed served in Aceh while still in the police and when the Aceh conflict was still happening.
Based on his lawyer's (Nurlan) explanation, Tsauri joined the Aceh terrorist network under the invitation of someone named Bara, who was mentioned as one of the leaders of the terrorist network. In January 2009, Sofyan went to Aceh and there he had met with Dulmatin.
Tsauri was arrested not long after a raid by the Densus 88 in the woodland of Jantho area, Aceh Besar, Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam, in early March this year. After his arrest, the Director of An Nashr Institute, Munarman who is also the manager of the FPI, suspected Tsauri as a police intelligence who was purposely planted into the military training in Aceh. “He was planted, he also fabricated and designed the movement whose activity was of course called by the police as terrorism, which can be caught by law,” Munarman said on 26th August.
The suspicions grew with the statement from the Chairman of the Aceh FPI, Yusuf Qordhowi who claimed to have seen Tsauri strolling freely outside the Aceh District Police's detention. Tsauri even said hello to Yusuf, before boarding a Vitara car along with several other police heading downtown, according to Yusuf.
The allegation of Tsauri being a police spy had already been denied by Tsauri before in the earlier trial.
