Zabihullah Mujahid: No such interview took place, the people in this interview who are being shown as Mujahideen are not Mujahideen but actors, who have been hired by Sky News to stage this fake interview to propagate their propaganda against the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. Everything that has been said in this interview is totally rubbish. Sky News should be a shame of itself for this deceit to the field of journalism and Britain's.

Barbaric US Invaders Run Their Tank Over A Civilian

Oct. 13 – Reports from Kandahar city say that last night US barbaric invaders ran their tank (with chains for wheels) over an innocent man who was riding his motorcycle in Commando area of the city. Locals from the area say that the man’s body was in an unrecognizable state and was lying at the scene for a very long time before an ambulance came and took the body to Mirwaise (Chinese) hospital. It is worth mentioning that ever since the arrival of Petreaus, the invaders have been on a killing spree where they use different tactics to kill and maim civilians in order to spread fear amongst the population. Recently in Kajaki the invaders martyred the people of a house in a night raid and later placed bombs under their bodies from which another 10 were martyred during their removal.

Oct. 12 - According to the original story, British aid worker Linda Norgrove was killed by one of her Afghan captors, who detonated an explosive vest seconds before US forces got to her in a bungled rescue attempt. For example, the BBC reported on October 10:

There were fears Linda Norgrove may have been sold on to an even more ruthless gang. US troops in Afghanistan were seconds from rescuing a UK hostage when she was killed by a vest bomb held or worn by a kidnapper, the BBC understands. They reached the building where Linda Norgrove, 36, was held and were "very, very close" to her, the BBC was told. It is understood tribal elders negotiating her release asked Nato not to intervene so they had more time. David Cameron has said it was right for the special forces to try to rescue the aid worker, from Lewis, Western Isles. The prime minister said: "Decisions on operations to free hostages are always difficult, but where a British life is in such danger, and where we and our allies can act, I believe it is right to try." BBC correspondent Nicholas Witchell said officials had confirmed Ms Norgrove was killed by an explosion, almost certainly a suicide vest, detonated by one of her captors.

It subsequently emerged that the "explosive vest" story was a lie, eagerly propagated by a compliant media.

The death of British aid worker Linda Norgrove was caught on helmet-mounted cameras worn by the officers who mistakenly killed her with a grenade, it has emerged. It comes as Miss Norgrove's parents last night demanded to know how the elite U.S. troops sent in to rescue her apparently ended up killing their daughter in the botched Afghanistan rescue bid. The U.S. yesterday issued an extraordinary apology to Britain over the doomed mission to free the aid worker from the clutches of the Taliban. American officials initially claimed Miss Norgrove had been killed when one of her captors detonated a suicide vest. But a review of footage taken by helmet cameras raised suspicions that in fact, it was a U.S. grenade which killed Miss Norgrove. An ashen-faced David Cameron yesterday revealed the tragedy a few hours after General David Petraeus, the American commander of the Nato-led force in Afghanistan, telephoned Downing Street to express ‘deep regret’ about the operation. But last night urgent questions were already being raised about the true independence of an inquiry into 36-year-old Miss Norgrove’s killing. It had been billed as a joint U.S.-UK investigation, but will be run by U.S. Central Command ‘in close co-operation with UK authorities’.

Thousands Protest Against Savage US Invaders

Oct. 10 – Reports from Kajaki district say that thousands of angry locals protested against US invaders recent genocide in night raids against civilians and ask for their immediate removal from Afghanistan. The protest started in the morning and lasted well until dusk time. It is worth mentioning that the invaders recently raided a house in Kishm Khan Village located in Nechi Karez of the mentioned district and after killing its inhabitants, booby trapped the house which later exploded, martyring a further 10 civilians.

Oct. 08 – US invaders raided a house in Kishm Khan village located in Naichi karez area of Kajaki district last night and forced the people of the house to vacate the area and spend the night somewhere else. In the morning, when the civilians returned to their house, a huge explosion took place as a result of the house being booby trapped with explosives by the savage US terrorists. 10 members of this house were Martyred in the explosion, which include 2 elderly men and the rest were young men. It is worth mentioning that the US invaders have started targeting civilians recently and are using different tactics to heartlessly murder and maim innocent Afghans in order to take revenge for their comrades being killed in Mujahideen assaults and ambushes.

'Dissecting' Al Qoidah

Today Al-Qaeda has become a great power, attracting the interests of young Muslims to join and fight alongside them. This movement which has become global and moved very secretly, continues to terrify every Nation, and people who harbor hatred against the revival of Islam will surely exist in accordance with the promise of Allah SWT and the prediction of Rasulullah SAW concerning the end times.

From the mountains of Afghanistan to the exotic continent of Africa, Al-Qaeda has established itself, breaking the concentration of America with resistance all over the world. When the Americans were focused with their Crusader war project in Afghanistan and Iraq, Al-Qaeda executed attacks at the hearts of the cities in Somalia, India and the regions that became the puppets of the Crusader-Zionist America.

With their global jihad ideology, Al-Qaeda is never too late in responding to the every cry of the oppressed Muslims, the children whose happiness are snatched and the dejected Muslimahs whose honour are insulted. They are present, there in the midst of the Muslims to defend and fight for the rights of the oppressed. It is with this ideology of global jihad too that Al-Qaeda have brought together the hearts that were once disunited due to fanaticism towards own group, ethnicity and mazhab. They are united by a sense of longing for the establishment of the Khilafah Islamiyah and Shaheed in struggling for the pure and noble Dien of Allah. There is no more divider between them, because the common interest is everything.

With a sincere and genuine struggle, it makes the ummah, who are yearning for the revival of Islam, wonder how to join this movement full of barokah (blessings) and support it with all the capabilities that they have. This answer is actually very easy for the people who are honest to the iman (faith) and 'ilm (cognition) that they believe in.

Al-Qaeda is a movement that was born amid the people of Ahlus Sunnah wal jama’ah, so their ideology is an ideology of the people of Ahlus Sunnah wal jama’ah, not any other, placing the ulama's in a position according to their portion and make Al-Qur’an and Sunnah as as a reference in the improvement of the self, society and the world.

In da'wah, calling towards tawheed is the main goal of Al-Qaeda. Inviting to the worship of Allah SWT alone and leaving the concepts that are damaging to the aqeedah of the Muslims which today are named with beautiful names but are heading toward kufr. Therefore, Al-Qaeda very strongly opposes the concepts that are not sourced from Al-Qur’an and Sunnah such as democracy, communism and all that are derived from these two ideas which basically are plunging mankind into destructions.

In the activities of struggling for Islam, Al-Qaeda makes jihad as a most effective means in restoring the light of Islam once again, not through diplomacy with the kafirs who have oppressed the Muslims or by jumping into the valley of dishonor of the parliaments using the manhaj of democracy which gives illusions to its followers.

Al-Qaeda makes jihad as a medium in grabbing back the glory of Islam that has become dim because today the kafirs have obviously imported their mushrik and kafir religion by use of military force, so there is no other choice except to pick up weapons in order to defend the honor of the Muslims. This had been delivered by Sheikh Usamah bin Ladin – Hafidzahullah- in the fatwa he conveyed through the Taujih Manhajiyyah: “My message to you all, is specifically to rekindle the spirit of jihad and continue the encouragement to conduct jihad, for the purpose of obstructing the great conspiracy which had been planned and developed to confront our ummah specifically, and we have seen some of its phenomenon clearly.”

That's the reason why Al-Qaeda makes Jihad as the method in struggling and of course there are more important reasons i.e. to revive the lost and forgotten obligation of the Muslims, jihad fie sabilillah. Jihad is not an empty words without meaning, jihad has become a word that made Islam in power for many centuries which had caused the kafir and munafiq to try to distort and make bad the callers and activists of jihad who affiliated with Al-Qaeda (the one and only jama’ah that makes jihad as the instrument), with bad nicknames like what know and feel to this day.

So for the Muslims, where ever they are, who want to join Al-Qaeda and become a part of them, they must fulfill the above conditions and criteria, namely having a true tawheed and leaving all objects of worship and concepts that are incompatible with the revelations of Allah SWT and the Sunnah of our noble Prophet, Muhammad SAW.

And susequently support every jihad activity that defends the honor of the Muslims which had been seized by the kafir and support the jihad that aims at establishing the kalimah of Allah SWT, so that only Allah is worshiped on this earth. The supports could be in the form of physical forces, materials, oral or written words, in fact the most important of all is do'a.

For those who do not agree with what is done by Al-Qaeda, then let them search with an honest heart in Al-Quran and the Sunnah and compare with what is done by Al-Qaeda today. And silence is better than criticizing something we have no knowledge of (due to not receiving guidance).

That's a bit about Al-Qaeda known to this writer, this writer tries to be equitable in seeing the phenomenon of Al-Qaeda and it doesn't have to mean that the writer is claiming to be a part of the blessed organization of Al-Qaeda, very far is this writer from them whose nature is described by Allah SWT as follows:

"O you who have believed, whoever of you should revert from his religion – Allah will bring forth [in place of them] a people He will love and who will love Him [who are] humble towards the believers, powerful against the disbelievers; they strive (conduct jihad) in the cause of Allah and do not fear the blame of a critic. That is the favor of Allah; He bestows it upon whom He wills. And Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing." (Q.S. Al-Maidah :54)

Last April (2010), the Islamic ummah in Bekasi had their anger fueled by the Christians through their insults and blasphemies against Islam in the blog belonging to Santo Bellarminus Bekasi. The blog with the title “finish off Islam in Indonesia” which was posted on Wednesday , 21st April 2010 at 02:05, made insults on Allah, His Rasul and the teachings of Islam which are not suitable to be expressed publicly, because the words used are so filthy and disgusting.

The insult did not stop there, they put up pictures of the Holy Book, the Qur’an in green colour, being tucked into the toilet hole, a truly outrageous insult.

The mission of the authors of the blog was also mentioned, the group who called themselves GMI (eradicate Islam movement), want to convert Muslims into their religion. Then followed by their vow to wipe out Islam from the face of the earth, with the conviction as follows:

“So from now on you must convert to Christian/Catholic, because this is the best religion!! In the name of God Jesus!! I swear I would wipe out Islam. After the Tanjung Priok riot in the past, many Christians had become victims, watch out Islam!! We will burn your ka’bah and masjids!! Long live GMI”

That's the nature of the kafir towards Islam, always harboring resentment and hostility against it. Unfortunately, many so-called tolerant Muslims do not believe it. In fact, they even accuse that it is the Muslims themselves who are always the instigators of the inter-religious conflicts. Whereas, Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala has already explained what's in the hearts of the kafir in a number of His verses, including:

1. QS. Al-Baqarah: 109

وَدَّ كَثِيرٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ لَوْ يَرُدُّونَكُمْ مِنْ بَعْدِ إِيمَانِكُمْ كُفَّارًا حَسَدًا مِنْ عِنْدِ أَنْفُسِهِمْ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الْحَقُّ

“Many of the People of the Scripture wish they could turn you back to disbelief after you have believed, out of envy from themselves [even] after the truth has become clear to them.”

In this verse, Allah tells the Mu'mineen about the hostile attitude of the People of the Book against them, both outwardly and within themselves. Allah also informs about their malice towards the Mu'mineen, when they know the virtues of the believers and their Prophet. And the peak of their malice is, to the extent that they want convert them away from Islam (make them murtad).

2. QS. Al-Baqarah: 120

وَلَنْ تَرْضَى عَنْكَ الْيَهُودُ وَلَا النَّصَارَى حَتَّى تَتَّبِعَ مِلَّتَهُمْ

“And never will the Jews and Christians approve of you until you follow their religion.”

In this verse Allah tells us about the enmity of the Jews and Christians towards Prophet Muhammad and his Sahabahs. Due to that, Allah ordered His prophet so as not to seek their pleasure and not to obey their wishes. Then Prophet sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam commanded his ummah to struggle against them and informed us that there would be a group who are always fighting against them. He said,

لا تزال طائفة من أمتي يقتتلون على الحق ظاهرين، لا يضرهم من خالفهم، حتى يأتي أمر الله

“There will always be a group from my Ummah that will fight upon truth openly. They are not concerned by those that oppose them or abandon them until the order of Allah arrives .” (HR. Muslim)

3. QS. Al-Baqarah: 217:

وَلَا يَزَالُونَ يُقَاتِلُونَكُمْ حَتَّى يَرُدُّوكُمْ عَنْ دِينِكُمْ إِنِ اسْتَطَاعُوا

“And they will continue to fight you until they turn you back from your religion if they are able.”

4. QS. Ali Imran: 118

قَدْ بَدَتِ الْبَغْضَاءُ مِنْ أَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَمَا تُخْفِي صُدُورُهُمْ أَكْبَرُ

“Hatred has already appeared from their mouths, and what their breasts conceal is greater.”

There are many other verses that express the hatred and enmity of the kafir towards Islam. If they can afford it, they would surely make the move to convert (make murtad) all the Islamic ummah or sweep them over until they are extinct from this earth. Due to that, Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala ordered the Islamic ummah to prepare the physical strengths in order to confront the kafireen who are always envious and hostile towards them.

Allah Ta’ala says,

وَأَعِدُّوا لَهُمْ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ مِنْ قُوَّةٍ وَمِنْ رِبَاطِ الْخَيْلِ تُرْهِبُونَ بِهِ عَدُوَّ اللَّهِ وَعَدُوَّكُمْ وَآَخَرِينَ مِنْ دُونِهِمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَهُمُ اللَّهُ يَعْلَمُهُمْ

“And prepare against them whatever you are able of power and of steeds of war by which you may terrify the enemy of Allah and your enemy and others besides them whom you do not know [but] whom Allah knows.” (QS. Al-Anfal: 60)

The content of this verse is very clear, Allah commands the believers to prepare all the strengths that they can afford, whether it is the strength of the mind, body, weaponry or any of its kind that could be utilized for fighting the kafir people who are never resting and always endeavoring to fight and destroy the religion of Islam and its adherents. The purpose is, so that the intentions of the kafir to fight and finish off the Muslims do not materialize, because of their trepidation and fear of seeing the power of the Muslims. This is because, if the Islamic ummah possess the strengths and abilities to fight a war, it would make the enemies from amongst the kafireen and munafiqeen think twice to launch an attack. On the other hand, if they see the Islamic ummah weak, not possessing the strength and not training militarily that they look incapable of expelling and resisting the enemies, then they will be eager to fight the Islamic ummah.

This is according to the word of Allah Ta’ala:

“. . and take precaution and carry arms. The kafir wish you would neglect your weapons and your baggage so they could come down upon you in one [single] attack.” (QS. An- Nisa’: 102)

In conclusion, the Muslimeens must start preparing for jihad by first doing physical trainings, readying of the war equipments and making efforts for the perfection of the jihad fie sabilillah.

The issue of terrorism has always been a public concern in Indonesia. Diverse opinions are expressed, diverse solutions are proposed, but very rarely people see the root cause of the problem.

President SBY, aided by his aides, tried to convince that the root cause of terrorism is poverty and ignorance. An analysis that is not so intelligent, keeping in mind that some of those alleged as terrorists are not ignorant or poor people.

Dr. Azahari Husin (1957 – 2005) for example, was a doctor and lecturer in a renowned university. It’s clear that he is not ignorant, and also not poor or unemployed without a job. On the world level, the accused leader of terrorists is Usamah bin Ladin, a university graduate and an entrepreneur in a leading Construction Company in the Middle East. The deputy of Usamah is Dr. Ayman Azh-Zhawahiri, a surgeon. So, very ignorant is he who thinks that Ayman is poor and ignorant.

From the examples mentioned earlier, it’s clear that the analysis above is less valid, if not without basis. It is also probable that the ones without basis is not SBY, but his aides and whisperers.

On the other hand, the liberal and secular camp see that the cause is the teachings of Islamic religion. The verses and hadiths that encourage radical behaviors are accused and made as scapegoat. This is in line with the efforts of America to eliminate the points in the Islamic Shari'a concerning jihad fie sabilillah which are considered as the source of the ideology of terrorism. In the Middle East for example, they are circulating the Furqanul Haq. A version or edition of Al-Quran minus the verses of jihad.

Whereas, it is not just Islam, other religions also have the concept of “jihad”. Just look at Christianity, what had made them able to launch the Crusades for some centuries, if not their concept of Holy War?

So the views of this liberal and secular camp is not fair. They want the world to be peaceful and safe from terrorism, but its key is by castrating the fighting spirits of the Islamic ummah against oppression and colonialism. Well, it’s understood, their masters, the Western colonialist nations, are very afraid to face the jihad resistance of the Muslims.

In the past, the British created a deviated sect (cult) called Ahmadiyah in India, which it occupied at that time. The leader, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, forbade jihad against the British. He also brought credits to the British by regarding them as the great master who must be obeyed. What's even crazier, he claimed to be a prophet and declared kafir the Muslims who did not believe in his prophethood.

It is very clear that the British wanted to weaken the jihad spirit of Islam so that they could freely colonize India. To control and deplete its natural resources. A method of neutralizing the enemies so as not to continue the fight.

Whereas, fighting against oppression, war and military is a humane thing. Human beings certainly want to survive. Human beings certainly want to resist if they are oppressed and unjustly treated. Whatever their religion, whatever their race. Even the ants bite if the human harm their nests.

The terrorism which is pointed at a group from the Islamic ummah who are conducting jihad is actually an attempt of resistance. The Islamic ummah have been occupied, oppressed and their wealth drained, for too long. There were already too much blood shed by the Western kafir colonialist nations.

The “terrorists” are attacking the civilian targets because the British, America and other invaders have no feeling of inhibition in massacring the Muslim civilians. The “terrorists” are blowing up bombs because the occupied countries of the Muslims are flattened with missiles and rockets. The “terrorists” are robbing their enemies because the natural wealth of their countries are being drained by the invaders with the help of the local puppets who are faithful to their masters.

The root of the problem of terrorism, if you want to be honest, actually is the attempts to demand justice. The serial Christmas bombings and the Bali bombing were triggered by the Christian attacks on the Muslims in Ambon. The Muslims were wronged but there was no adequate and fair protection by the security forces. At this point, a retaliation became the choice.

In fact, if we draw back further, the emergence of the Dar ul-Islam (DI/TII) in 1949 was also a reaction of the Muslims against injustices. In the beginning, the Muslims and Christians already agreed in the formulation of the UUD (the Constitution) 1945. The Panitia Sembilan (the nine-member committee tasked to formulate the Indonesian state’s foundation stated in the UUD 1945 – ed) agreed on the Jakarta Charter which guaranteed the application of the Islamic Shari'a for the Muslims, with the formulation of “Spirituality with the obligation to apply the Islamic Shari’a for its adherents."

Only a day after the country got independent, the agreement was already betrayed, a leader of the Christians from East Indonesia threatened to split from NKRI (Unitary/Unified Republic of Indonesia). Through a Japanese officer, that Christian leader pressured Soekarno and Hatta to remove the obligation to implement the Shari'a of Islam from the constitution. This is the first seeds of separatism in the history of Indonesia, threatening to secede from the republic because of the envy towards other ummah who want to apply their Shari’a.

As a result, a cruelty on the law took place, the Islamic ummah are the majority but inhibited from carrying out their Shari’a. They were forced to submit to Christian and secular law inherited from the Dutch. Especially that the diplomacy of Soekarno at that time was very submissive to the Dutch, the Rennville negotiation made West Java vacated. It was as if the territory and its inhabitants who were Muslim were being surrendered to the Dutch.

This is what triggered the establishment of Dar ul-Islam, the injustices on legal issues and the dissatisfaction due to being surrendered to the Dutch. This is also the root of all the Islamic resistance in Indonesia. In actual fact, they are demanding for just one thing, to be able to implement the Islam Shari’a for themselves.

But the aspiration was always prevented. The actors were always the same too. The Jakarta Charter was sabotaged, thanks to the pressure from a Christian leader. The Renville was signed by PM Amir Syarifudin, a Christian. The KOMJI or Komando Jihad incident in 1977 (the arrest of the “fundamentalist” leader of Dar ul-Islam or also known as NII [Negara Islam Indonesia/The Indonesian Islamic State] movement and 23 other commanding figures. Some were sentenced to death or executed by the firing squad – ed) and the bloody Tanjung Priok incident in 1984 (where hundreds of Islamic activists were massacred - ed) were masterminded by Benny Moerdani.

Later, the conspiracy was getting more and more naked. The Muslims in Kalimantan were slaughtered by the Christian Dayaks, continuing to Ambon and Poso. The case in Poso in fact showed the presence of a cooperation between the Protestants and Catholics. The Catholic Fabianus Tibo and company led the initial attack on Muslims. Later they were helped by the Protestant groups.

After that, the Muslims reacted and fought. They succeeded in retaliating and stopping the cruelties of the Christians. But those who fought were then given the label terrorists and were swept mercilessly by the Densus 88. The special unit funded by America and Australia.

The unit is obviously projected to fight against the Muslims. They are praised for arresting, torturing and killing the Muslims. But when they are arresting the RMS (South Maluku Republic) Christian separatist movement, Australia threatened to investigate the case which they considered as “violating the Human Rights”.

Today, the Densus 88 is headed by Gorries Mere. Officially, the commander is Tito Karnavian. But the incident of the unruliness of the Densus toward the Provost AU (Military Police of the Air Forces) in Polonia airport had proven other things. Gorries directly leads the operations on the ground, though he actually served in the BNN (national narcotics agency).

All of the above series of events proves one thing: all the cruelties that befall the Islamic ummah in Indonesia and all over the world is a conspiracy of the Christian Western colonialists along with their local puppets. While all the acts of resistance which are branded as terrorism, is a reaction against those cruelties. This is the real root cause of terrorism.

Indeed, a news has come to me that on Tuesday, 5th October 2010, TV One had televised the programme Kabar Petang (Evening News) which included an interview about terrorism in which amongst the sources of the interview was Nasir Abbas (the turncoat – ed.), where he stated that in the Bank robbery & attack in Medan, one of the leaders of its field operation is Taufik Hidayat who was involved in the bombing case in Cimanggis along with Oman Rochman/Aman Abdurrahman, the loudest person in declaring others not from his jama’ah as kafir.

For the sake of the clarity of tawheed da’wah and jihad, I feel the need to clarify on that statement, though personally I actually do not want to respond to the lies contained in Nasir's statement, because the police also stores the data files (name/photos) of all my brothers who were caught in the case of bombs-assembling training in Cimanggis in March 2004. Is there really a name Taufik Hidayat or his photo? Of course there isn't and there will never be forever.

Know that indeed, I have never known someone with the name Taufik Hidayat and he has nothing to do with the Cimanggis case in March 2004 which was handled by Kasat Kamneg (state security head unit) of the Metro Jaya Polda (district police), AKBP Tito Karnavian (now ex-head of Densus 88), so he must be very aware that Taufik Hidayat has no connection with me and the Cimanggis case. Please ask for the data from the Metro Jaya Polda!

What can be found is the name Syarif Hidayat, and he had died in Paledang prison in Bogor in 2006, 2 months before his release, rahimahullah. Please check his data from the Paledang prison.

So what the hell makes Nasir Abbas tell the lies??? Where did he get the fake data, which he thought is true, from??? This really shows to the public that he had spread fitnah and TV One was also not being selective in determining the resource person or commentator. What a pathetic Nasir Abbas, the ex-mujahid!!!

And then know O Muslimeens, indeed my belief and the belief of my brothers in the jama’ah is that every one who claims to be Muslim or shows signs of being Muslim, as well as not showing even just one obvious thing that could invalidates one's Islam, then he is Muslim, our brother, we love him, we say salam to him, we become his ma'mum in solat if be becomes the imam, we perform janaza solat when he dies, we eat (meat) from what he slaughters and other things in the form of interaction which should appropriately be done by fellow Muslims, whether he comes from any organization, camp or jama’ah, whether we know him or not, even when we differ in opinion in things that do not invalidate one's Islam.

So, he is a liar who states that we declare kafir the people who are not from within our jama’ah. Whom we declare kafir are the people whom Allah and His Rasul have declared kafir with clear nas (texts), after all the conditions have been fulfilled and that there is nothing that hinders. Please open up my writings and translations in the subject of Tawheed which have been widely circulated in the society and in the hands of the police. Please study with an open heart to find the truth, while asking for hidayah and guidance by pleading to Allah Ta’ala. Avoid haughty and arrogant attitude, because hidayah is like water which only flows to low places, i.e. hearts that humble themselves before Allah Ta’ala.

Know also, O Mujahideen brothers, and the Muslimeens generally, that to procure booties which currently is being talked about by many as fa’i, by means of bank robbery or burglary of the ATM in a country like here, with the reality that we know, is a way which precisely is bringing more disadvantage for tawheed da’wah and jihad before the Muslimeens. I really do not know which groups are doing those acts.

Therefore, the allegation that I am indiscriminately declaring people kafir or pronouncing people who are not from my jama’ah as kafir and make halal their blood and properties, is not true. Indeed it is a lie and vile fitnah. And With Allah is the reckoning.

May Allah Ta’ala leads us to the straight path, i.e Tawheed (kufr toward thoghut and iman toward Allah), aameen…

At the end of this writing, I am hoping that the Muslims do not swallow the news wholly, be it from the print media or electronic (let alone the media which are already known to have always discredited Islam and the Muslims), because there are a lot of manipulations that the reportings are far from the true reality. Please seek clarification on the case from the actors, after freeing yourselves from the pressures and threats by certain parties…

The "buffer zone", the "no-go zone", the no man’s land, whatever you call it, is a scary and devastated place. It is also deadly for the few ones who still dare to go there.

In this zone, whose borders are decided by bullets, every week, some Palestinians are fired upon. They do not even know from where the bullets or the shells come from.

On 13 September 2010, 91 year-old Ibrahim Abu Sayed, together with his 17 year-old grandson, Hossam and the young boy’s friend and neighbour - 16-year-old Ismail Abu Oda, went to Ibrahim's lot of land, with their cattle. The day was expected to be nice.

They prepared for barbecue and tea but it turned into a nightmare. The first shell fell, and then another one- closer, and then the third one hit them directly. The last one killed the two boys and the old man, along with all their animals.

Their bodies were mutilated. Ismail’s father told us when we visited them that he knew what happened was clearly not a mistake: "[…]the Israeli soldiers knew them, they were always going to that land lot. They [Israeli soldiers] knew all the farmers there. A 91 year-old and two boys- are they terrorists??!"

Later, the Israeli Army admitted it was a mistake. Another deadly mistake. Today, again, another boy was injured by shells fired in the north of Gaza while the boys were collecting rubble that will then be sold. These “mistakes" are in fact acts of terror against unarmed civilians, who dare to stand on their own land, in direct view of Israel’s Army. Perhaps the real crime for Palestinians is that they remain visible, in Israel’s sight.. Perhaps it is easier to oppress other people when you do not actually see them. While I was working in center of Gaza, near the buffer zone, I was told not to point my camera in the direction of the fence, although we were at least 1 km away from it. And when my colleagues and I tried to park our car on the side of the road, a local man told us not to leave the car there: "That will be suspicious", he said, and at that point I asked "are we allowed to breathe? Is that suspicious, as well ?"

What was striking with regards to that location, was that on one side (East) one could see the fence, and on the opposite side ,(West) one could see the Mediterranean Sea. It was then that I realized just how tiny the Gaza Strip really is. By pushing Gazans further away from the fence, the Israelis actually push them into the sea, an all too familiar expression, except than usually the Israelis are using it arguing than “Palestinians want to push us into the sea”.

According to Walid, Ismael's father, they are now even more scared to go back to the lot of land. they own. He sometimes goes back before dawn, still searching for his son’s head that was never recovered after the shelling. One morning, he picked up a piece of flesh off a tree, but he not certain it was part of his son’s body. It could have been a piece of a dead animal. The man said his son, Ismael was a loving and respectful son- a clever boy with great mechanic’s skills.

As the boy’s father was showing us the flechettes, which were inside the shell that killed his son, I felt as if the flechettes struck my own heart. As painful as this true story is, I will live on. Ismael on the other hand was not given the right to live, just as many Gazans that will continue to fall victims of the countless "errors" that have yet to come.

I was born in Depok, Kelapa Dua, Brimob, on 22nd April 1976, 34 years ago, in Brimob (Police Mobile Brigade) Barrack’s Community Health Centre, inside the Police HQ, 100m from where the Muwahideen youths are detained now. Raised in the environment of the barrack and educated in the family of police, as my father is a police personnel who grew up in the family not focused in Islamic education or a family that did not instil Islamic values since a young age, that I only knew Islam while I was active in the Islamic organization (Rohis) in SLTA high school in Central Jakarta.

It all started when I went to a school in Central Jakarta, at Budi Utomo Rd., a school that was always involved in the brawl at that time in Jakarta. I was truly jahil at that time that I always got caught by the police, Kodim (District Military Commander), Koramil (Regional Military Command Unit) and even got injured frequently in the hands, head, etc. due to being struck with the celurit (a type of curved knife normally used in street-fights).

But it was there where I obtained hidayah by getting to know the Islamic movement, my first tanzim was from the madrassa of Hasan Al Banna i.e. Ikhwanul Muslimin, we were active in the tarbiyah in the year 1994, where at that time we were drawn by the cases of the Bosnian Muslim massacre in Sebrenica, Palestine, the Russian invasion of Chechnya, Khasmir and the victory of the Mujahideen in Afghaistan. As a Muslim I was affected and it raised the sense of solidarity with fellow Muslims in me. Aren’t the Muslims brothers: "The believers, in their love, mutual kindness, and close ties, are like one body; when any part complains, the whole body responds to it with wakefulness and fever." [Muslim]

I began to participate in the daurah launched by these ikhwahs and at that time we were provided with materials about ma’rifatullah wa ma’rifatil islam, ihsan, ghozwul fikri, etc. where I eventually joined in the halaqoh and ta'lim such as the tatsqif, mabit and the devices of these tarbiyah in every place, to the demo for Palestine and placards of Ramadhan, etc. In short, I became an adolescent masjid activist and Rohis at school , this was in the year 1994 and 1995. I at that time did not know the name of the jama’ah, but the books that became our references were:

- Al Islam by Sa’id Hawa

- Jundullah (building the mujahid forces): Sa’id Hawa

- Risaalah of Movement: Hasan Al Banna

- Majmu’ Rosail: Hasan Al Banna

- Al Qiyadah wal jundiyah: Mustafa Masyur

There was one more magical book (as Imam Samudra said) i.e. Ayyaturahman Fie Jihadil Afghanistan written by Sheikh Abdullah Azzam published by GIP (Gema Insani Press) translated by Abu Ridho, and there were still many others I still keep in my house to these days.
Through these books I was confident that this was “AL IKHWANUL MUSLIMIN” but we had never been told this by our mentor (murobbi), what jama’ah we were in and the characteristic of the movement was sami'na wa atho'na (we hear and we obey), that's all.

At that time I strongly believe that this was the best jama'ah because in terms of fikroh, aqeedah, ibaadah, manhaj and jihad, they all seemed to be at the forefront and again the most concerned with the suffering of the Muslims. After graduating SMU (high school) in 1995 I continued my study and went to a pesantren (Islamic boarding school) in Kediri, East Java, namely the Al-Falah II, I was there until 1997. I also went to register in the police force because of the insistence of my parents. At that time my murobbi did not prohibit me and I then followed the suggestion of my parents as my older brother (Agus Widodo) had already pursued the police education in Lido, so I enrolled at the Metro Jaya Polda (District Police) in Jakarta, the place where I am currently detained.

I joined the police in July 1997 and graduated in June 1998, and my first placement was in the Kompi Dalmas Sat Samapta (a kind of Crowd Control Unit – ed.), Metro Jaya. But upon completion of the education in the police academy it was not that I had turned futur but I tried to keep up with tholabul ilmi (pursuing education) in between my busy activities as a police officer, I then registered in Al-Hikmah PBAT (Integrated Arabic Language Programs) for 2 years in Mampang, South Jakarta for the 1998 batch and graduated in 2001.

Don't know for what reason but somehow the jama’ah that I followed changed to become a party, where the name is Partai Keadilan (Justice Party) at a time when I did not really understand why must they become a party, and why was Democracy, that was once their antipathy, now made as a means for tamkin. The reasons varied and from what I had heard they include:

- We admit that democracy is not from Islam and not an ideal system, but it is still better than Tyranny.

- So that the Muslims get the benefits and can ensure that secularism is not rampant.

- That being inside is still better than outside (with the yellings) for the sake of maintaining the benefits of taqwa, etc.

This is what I know and I didn't have the capacity to protest except to keep quiet, hear and obey, especially that I had joined the police so it could be that the earlier judgments were the justification.

Their references about their position are many and these had become parts of their ijtihad, among the ulama's whom they took as reference was Dr. Yusuf Qordowi, look at their books such as Fiqh Awlawiyat, Fiqh Siyasi, Manhaj Haroki (Sheikh Munir Ghodan), etc.

And I used to be one who defended this position intensely because our study was not focused on tawheed, how the wala’ wal baro’ which was once studied as a consequence of La ilaha illallah was no longer discussed. Yes, what we studied then was politics all the way, while our ruhiyah were empty. This was in 1998 and it went on until 2007, it was during this period i.e. in 2001 that I got married to my first wife. And after a duty in Aceh, I heard about the Bali bombing incident, where there were the Christmas bombings before that. Why, but this heart was as if amazed, pleased and why was this heart saying “these people are truly amazing” and what was the motivation of these people, obviously this was very interesting for me.

I, in the beginning, had a hobby of collecting anything about big events related to the Islamic world such; Palestine, Black September (WTC attack), Bali Bombing, the bombings in Tanzania and Darussalam, the Taliban in Afghanistan, until now I still keep those magazines and newspaper clippings, including the book about Bali Bombing written by Imam Samudra (Aku Memburu Teroris- I Am Hunting Down The Terrorists), Membongkar JI - Dismantling The JI (Nasir Abbas), Ali Imron Sang Pengebom - Ali Imron The Bomber (Ali Imron). These books are interesting to be debated and studied. What had kickstarted it all.

What’s interesting, there was one book which I have mentioned, in Tarbiyathen Jihadiyah written by Abdulldh Azzam, it was said: “That whosoever says that this dien was not established by the bloods of the Shuhada’s, the decomposition of their bones and pieces of flesh, then he does not understand the reality from this religion and he is dreaming in broad daylight.”

I began to protest bit by bit to the murobbi (my mentor) that the attitudes of the ikhwahs in the parliament were not right, not Islamic and not Shar’ie.

My conclusion was just simple, that the above incidents and those books which I had read are the (manifestations of the) attitude of baro’ or wala’ wal baro’ towards the enemies of ALLAH who are fighting against Islam and the Muslims. And so I believed that what was done by the friends (in the Parliament) was just a waste of energy, where the result has achieved nothing. It could be that the fates of those friends would end up like the FIS (Front Islamic…. ) or HAMAS (harokah al muqowwamah islamiyah) and Refah party in Turkey, which ended up being manipulated, deceived and disbanded.

I began to make an initiative to form small groups of jihadi firkoh, made up of those whom I took from the mutorobbi (my creation) because indeed I was also a murobbi who was in charge of three circles of halaqoh which I strained from those who were brave and determined. And a number of friends from Korsad (Justice Corps Unit) of the DPP (Central Delegation Board) of the PKS (Prosperous Justice Party) were also joining in and some Scouts members of the DPP PKS were attracted too for i’dad ‘askary in the form of forming an Airsoft Gun Club i.e. Basic 860 (i.e. the basis of Surah Al-Anfal, Chaptert 8 Verse 60, which means “And prepare against them whatever you are able and steeds of war by which you may terrify the enemies of ALLAH and your enemies.” (Al-Anfal : 60)

This club was disbanded because I started to bring in friends who were the students of Ustadz Aman and I was considered by friends as training them or inviting them to ‘play’ without going through a shura’. I gave them the reason that they were purely my paying customers and that I did not have any other tendency whatsoever because when I invited them to ‘play’, they, the youths whom I developed, did have the chance to meet the youth from the group of Ustadz Aman, where at that time Yudi was also there (here I noticed the oddity between the friends from the Tarbiyah Jama’ah [PKS] and the new friends with beards and pants cut off above the ankle bone). This became a talkabout in the mailing list saying that I had other agenda.

But it turned out that the friends of Ustadz Aman were also suspicious of me and this issue is still not finished until now. And for me this had become the thorns while in Jantho Aceh (for the military training), wallahu ‘alam.

Back to my old jama’ah, that I was like this i.e being involved in the terrorist network, was not a strange thing anymore for them because be it in the jama’ah of the ikhwans or in the office, I had been active in da’wah and always gave tahridh (motivation) to my friends for hubbul jihad da hubbul shahadah.

But as for Thogut, I had not fully discerned yet. Though I knew that Thogut is satan, it could also be something obeyed, loved besides ALLAH. Even though I am in the police, I would not let my situation be that it exceeds my taqwa towards ALLAH and His Rasul, so I reasoned.

But some friends offered me some books such as the Millah Ibrahim and Syirik Demokrasi (Shirk of Democracy) which should be read and are very important, and there were also some discussions about who the Thoguts are, written by an Ustadz who was involved in the bombing of Jati Jajar (Cimanggis, Depok), where I had served a duty before. My murobbi had prohibited me from reading these books and I was forbidden to associate with those people, I was not sure for what reason, I was just ordered and he said that if such was the case then all would be kafir. In the end, I just put down and kept the books.

Yet, there were some wedges and deep turbulence in this heart regarding the discussions of these books which made me think that my jama’ah and my job was a problem for my akhirah, na’uzubillah.

Oh yeah, almost forgot, while in Aceh (on duty there) I functioned as a trooper and Da’ie (as a speaker) because there is little bit of capability in me as a speaker and I could communicate with daleels a bit. I got married again in Aceh, but only in 2005, after the tsunami that I brought my wife to Jakarta, for that, the reason was long and I got married on the basis of ibaadah and because I liked her (even though I am in the police where polygamy is disallowed), I liked that challenge. More than that, it’s privacy and only ALLAH knows.

Apparently this became a problem in my jama'ah as it was considered as not shar’ie for not going through a process that was in effect like with first wife (ta’aruf) and I was asked to divorce my second wife without any clear shar’ie reason. Since the end of 2007 I became non-active in the jama’ah as a form of protest from me and a number of ikhwahs invited me to participate again, but I was still busy with the new fikroh.

There was something strage, in fact I even considered it as a heavy trial from ALLAH that in heading towards al-haq, it is actually not easy.

In the old jama’ah (Ikhwan) I began to be shunned and given ta’zir (punishment) for not showing up to study anymore and they started to think that I was having an deviated fikroh. On the other hand, in the jama’ah that was supposed to be accepting me, I was believed to be an intel (spy) just because I was still with the Thogut (I had not left the police yet) .

This new fikroh, which to me was incredible, always teased me every day that I was clearly an Ansorut Thogut (Forces/helpers of Thogut) where the kufr is obvious.

And I began to think of getting out in a nice and proper way but my job was eventually disturbed. With the new business in Airsoft Gun which, alhamdulillah, it was if ALLAH was giving me the way of ease and profit which was very extraordinary. Being occupied in this business made me forget the problems I had with my old jama’ah and this new jama’ah (the new fikroh then again continues to hurl fitnah to this day).

I did not expect, in fact even to this day that I am writing this, the Air Softgun business is so barokah as I didn't have to worry anymore about the ma’ishah (livelihood) after leaving the service. This is a form of an answer for my worry in the past that if I ever get out from the Thogut, what else would I eat and what job should I be doing in order to support my two wives and three small children, Allahu musta’an.

Yes akhi, Allah provides convenience for those of His servants who are honest and who make do’a especially those who want to be istiqomah in His path or for His cause. The fears had changed into firmness and calmness.

I somehow was slapped by my commander (Kasat – Squad Leader) only because of leaving the Bojong Sari (Sawangan) post before its time. I then deserted, firstly as my protest for being abusively punished by being slapped three times, beaten on the stomach, shaven and asked to salute the flag for more than one hour. Then I did not turn up for two weeks, and I had stayed at Yudi's house in Ranco, but as the ikhwans, who were Yudi's friends, disliked me, I then returned home and thereafter I was rearrested and surrendered to the Provost (military police).

Not long afterwards, apparently I was under interrogation again regarding polygamy, don't know who had reported it, but I responded to it in a casual way. I was asked to choose in the questioning, whether to maintain the police uniform or to divorce my wife, in this case the code of conduct trial was conducted for my cases i.e. the two weeks desertion and polygamy.

Yes akhi, this was my second trial in defending this tawheed, after first being shunned by the ikhwans in the jama’ah and suspected as an agent by the new jama’ah. And now (the second trial) I was ordered to obey the Positive Laws (read Thoghut laws) which forbids taaddud (polygamy).

Yes akhi, this is the trial for the people who want to uphold tawheed and iman, not with empty dreams but with actions and deeds, “Do you think that you will enter Paradise while ALLAH has not yet made evident those of you who fight in His cause and made evident those who are steadfast?” (Ali Imran: 142)

Not long after the trial I decided to leave the police, starting from mid August 2008 and to 3rd June 2009, I got PTDH (discharged without honour) alias fired, at the same time I was also working on the da’wah in Aceh, until the result becomes what you see now. As for the letter about my PTDH and the BAP (proofs of investigation report) regarding it, I have it at home for those who want to see it. This I write according to what I experienced and witnessed. And ALLAH is the Witness over my deeds. Wallahu a’lam,

Yusuf Qordhawi Defended Himself After His Lies Exposed?

JAKARTA - This is the latest development in the case of 'Sofyan Tsaury versus Yusuf Qordhawi'. Yesterday, Tuesday (12/10) Yusuf Qordhawi went to see Sofyan and some other Aceh Mujahideen ikhwahs in the prison. In that visit Yusuf Qordhawi clarified that he had never accused Sofyan of being an intel (spy). Why did Qordhawi reverse his course like this? Is it because of his fear when challenged to a mubahalah and that of his guise had been unmasked by Sofyan and friends? Will Qordhawi soon give a clarification to the ummah?

The Start Of The Rolling Issue

When the issue of Aceh first developed, Yusuf Qordhawi was the foremost person in arising the issue (that the Aceh case and the personality of Sofyan are full mystery) and then Munarman with the big name of his FPI followed up and then with the power of the media the public were taken in by the misleading opinion, and fitnah then spread like wildfire. Especially that this master of martial arts from the FPI (Munarman) had come to the DPR (Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat or House of Representatives) raising this issue. Yusuf Qordhawi is one those who should be responsible for the fitnah.

On 12th October 2010, Yusuf Qordhawi went to meet Sofyan, Yudi and others i.e. a number of Aceh Ikhwans. In this visit by Yusuf Qordhawi, tension arose for a while, in fact he (Yusuf Q) almost got beaten by Sofyan and others, if not for the Densus, so that did not happen. Yusuf came to clarify that he had never accused Sofyan of being an intel, notwithstanding that he could not prove his words and they are precisely contrary to the facts on the ground where the issue of "Sofyan An Intel" was first generated by himslef. After Sofyan and Yudi unmasked his guise, he went mute and frozen, especially when challenged to a mubahalah. Why was he frozen? At least there are two answers presented by Sofyan and Yudi, namely:

1. His reporting, to the Aceh District Police, of the addresses and photos of the FPI youths who were in the DPO (wanted list), everything was taken down, from the training activities while in Jakarta (at Sofyan’s house), and the potos from the registration of the volunteers for Gaza, all came from him because only he got all the data. Sofyan, Yudi and some other Aceh ikhwans saw all those data with their own eyes at the hand of the investigators as evidences.

2. Yudi caught him several times with the intels and introduced them to Yudi as laskar (maybe laskar FPI and others), whereas Yudi already knew who those people he introduced actually were.

3. He also threatened to report our (Sofyan and others) activities to the Densus by sending anonymous letters to some Aceh ikhwahs by using the name "Forum Aceh Cinta Damai" (Aceh Loves Peace Forum). In those letters the data of the Aceh ikhwahs were mentioned, as well as their aliases, whereas only he knows all those because nobody else kept the data other than him, in fact even his own name, only he knows it. In that meeting, Sofyan said; "Aren’t those data only known by you...?" When thrown back with that question, he just went silent and could not do anything except getting himself frozen in confusion!

The Ummah Are Yet To Hear A Clarification From Qordhawi!

That was the result of their brief meeting (Yusuf versus Sofyan and Company). After Sofyan’s writing circulated in the cyberspace, especially after a challenge for a mubahalah with Munarman as the representative of the FPI and Yusuf Qordhawi, it is as if the situation is in a state of silent and not even a word has come from the FPI so far. Is someone scared of the challenge...? The ummah is waiting for a clarification.

I had to write this letter in the hope that this ummah can see clearly on what I had been accused of, a shameful fitnah put against me, indeed a great fitnah, which can only harm a people because of ignorance, that ultimately we will all regret it.

Whereas, the ummah are taught of how to deal with the incoming news, the Islamic akhlaq guides us to do tabayyun (getting clarification) on the received news, especially if the news are coming from the fasiq people or the enemies, “O ye who believe! If a wicked person comes to you with any news, ascertain the truth, lest ye harm people unwittingly, and afterwards become full of repentance for what ye have done,” (Al-Hujurat verse 6)

This verse contains a very clear message for us all, whenever there is news received, especially if it is from the enemies of Islam who want to make ruin, to slander His soldiers, the blessed people of the Muwwahideen, we are to investigate the news profoundly and it is not dzon (bad suspicion) that is preferred.

This ummah is always accustomed to the news coming from outside, they have forgotten the guidance that Allah gave through His Book. To the point that, without us realizing we had plunged into the puddle of sins, especially the sins that are related to the rights of the children of Adam or fellow human beings, “O ye who believe! Avoid suspicion as much (as possible): for suspicion in some cases is a sin: And spy not on each other behind their backs. Would any of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? Nay, ye would abhor it...But fear Allah. For Allah is Oft-Returning, Most Merciful.” (Al-Hujurat verse 12)

By Allah, actually I do not care too much about the opinions or news that had put me into a corner, particularly about the Mujahideen and Muwwahideen that come from our enemies, they endeavour to kill the character of His fighters, “Their intention is to extinguish Allah's Light (by blowing) with their mouths: But Allah will complete (the revelation of) His Light, even though the Unbelievers may detest (it).” (As-Saff verse 8)

They harm the personalities of His soldiers, they pit us against each other, with heinous accusations that in truth were never done by us but by those fasiq people, the mujrimah and those scoundrels.

Among His soldiers are those who are accused of committing sodomy, infidelity and becoming panders of jihad and so on. And we all know all these things, “those kafirs plot and Allah also plot against them, and Allah is the best of plotters.” Due to that, O Akhi Muwwahid, it is not of a Mu'meen and one is not a sincere Muwahideen or Mujahideen, when later he is easily taken in by the provocation of the enemies and the plots of those criminals of shirk, but we are the sincere ikhwah mujahidin wal muwahidin who have been given tarbiyah from the da'wah arenas and jabhah (fronts) of the jihad trenches, from the jihad madrassas of our Sheikh, Abdullah Azzam, where later we were taken for a ride and how low are their words fouling it with speeches accusing His soldiers nastily.

But the fitnahs, accusations, provocations and the deflaters of jihad are precisely coming from the surroundings of the Muslims themselves, a variety of news that should have been able to neutralize and extinguish the flame of fitnah, have instead become a source of fitnah, where are the adab and akhlaq that you have learned and that you teach from His Kitabullah and Sunnah? It is as if you are very smart, like a football commentator, you disparage us with the accusations of being isti’jal (hasty), infiltrated, impatient and other accusations. While here we are hunted, murdered, bloodied, perspiring with the sweats of exhaustion and captured. So that we are abused and etc., but you are blaming us, disparaging us, which in the end made me the black sheep from this failure. (failure from the aspect of military politic in the version of elhakimi - ed.)

I have to write because of the insistence from ustadzs in the sijjin (prison), lazy and tired to comment on the barking coming from outside and I prefer to be patient with which Insha Allah, Allah would also give me the rewards, Insha Allah.

As for me being a former cop, it is true, once again a ‘former’, I am actually the product of the tawheed da’wah which were called and hoisted by the sincere da’ies. I feel I don’t need to be ashamed to bear the term “former” i.e. a fi’il madi or past verb, as long as it’s not ‘formerly good’, or ‘former good person’ who now is not good.

I was a person who wanted to repent and asked to be given a chance to repent and improve myself with the deeds like what had been exemplified by the best generation of this ummah, namely the sahabahs, “You are the best ummah produced [as an example] for mankind…” (Ali Imran verse 110), "The best people are those living in my generation (sahabahs), and then those who will follow them (tabi’in), and then those who will follow the latter (tabiut tabi’in)" (HR. Bukhari, Tirmidzi) in the book Al-Umdah page 24.

And whoever has many sins, then the medicine for it is jihad because Allah azza wajalla will forgive his sins like what we are told in the Qur’an and Allah says in surah As-Saff verse 12, “He will forgive you your sins, and admit you to Gardens beneath which Rivers flow …”

Were not the repentance of Ikrimah bin Abi Jahal, Khalid bin Walid, Wahshi, Amr bin Ash, followed up with jihad…? Yes. With jihad! They used to direct the swords and spears in the direction of the Muslims, and then they became Muslims and later directed their swords and weapons at the kafir and murtad people, yes akhi. Look at Khalid bin Walid RA who drew his sword against the murtad people and opened the way for the liberation of Iraq and the Roman empire, look at Amr bin Ash who successively campaigned in Yarmuk and was the liberator of Egypt, look at Wahshi who had killed Asaddullah and Sayyidus Shuhada (Lion of Allah and chief of the Shuhada’s) the best man from the uncles of the Prophet, then his repentance was directed to spear the most disgusting man in his time i.e. Musailammah Al Kadzab (false prophet), and look at Ikrimah bin Abi Jahal who himself and along with his father were hostile against the da’wah of his noble Prophet, and then during the futuh Makkah, he was pardoned and later fought in the Ghazwah Yarmuk as Istishhadiyyin. Yes akhi, does someone like me who is the product of the tawheed da’wah has to be ostracized and not given the chance to repent and improve myself by being shaheed in Allah’s path?

I actually had been patient enough with the fitnah and oblique accusations when deciding on this heavy decision i.e. getting out of service (from the police) or ansorut thogut, but was instead accused and slandered as jasus (agent), intel or anything unpleasant on the ear.

The heaviest decision in my life was when I left the system which is not shar’ie, why shouldn't it be heavy: I had to be banished from a large family which is unsurprisingly a large family of police as my father and big brother are in the brown shirt (uniform of the police) corps, thus it was all the police barracks in the surroundings of the house and neighbourhood which had made it necessary for me to be banished from the environment, then I lost my closest peers, in the work place, not only that, in fact even in the jama’ah tarbiyah (PKS), the first place where I took part in da'wah, it was also not devoid of criticisms, but this hidayah had been permeating into this soul, all those did not make me withdraw, by having few friends and numerous people who opposed, doesn't Allah say, “Thou Muhammad will not find a people who believe in Allah and the Last Day, mutually compassionate with the people who oppose Allah and His Rasul, even if it was their fathers, brothers or families”.

It was not motivation and support, much less tausiyah (advice) in patience that I received but accusations from some ikhwahs from whom I really hoped to be accepted sincerely, they did not see that the process of getting out from the service is very difficult, unlike the security guards of a factory or the village guards, where it is easy to resign. But the accusations were non-stop without me knowing exactly what the causes were, and this was what eventually became the thorns in my journey in the Aceh jihad, because these people (may Allah forgive them) continued to bring firewood in Jalin Janthoi (in this case Ustadz Aman and Akhina Yudi know better), I had also raised this issue to Mr. Yahya (Dulmatin), Ustadz Abdullah Sonata and Ustadz Aman.

It turned out that the way to goodness was not as easy as I had imagined, but the way has a lot of curves and holes, and even thorns that were ready to obstruct, but due to the earnestness, Allah has given the way of ease and His way, “And the people who conduct jihad (to seek Our pleasure), We will show them the way and indeed Allah is with the people who do good.”

As for Ustadz Hamzah@Yahya@Dulmatin and Ustadz Mus’ab@Sughoh and Ustadz Urwah@Bagus Budi Pranoto (rhm), who with open arms welcomed my repentance and attitude, their hearts are as clean as silk and glass, that Allah takes them to Him because of their sincerity in this transaction that they can never lose.

These were the people who introduced me to Al-Qaeda and are a pride for me, and made me so touched that I was given a chance to contribute in the path of jihad along with the beloved Sheikh of our kafilah, Sheikh Usama bin Ladin and our beloved Sheikh Ayman Al Dzawahry hafizhahullah anhuma.

In this case I have nothing to do with JAT (jama'ah anshorut tauhid), JI (jama’ah islamiyah), NII (Isalmic State of Indonesia) or any of its branches, MMI (Majelis Mujahidin Indonesia) or whatsoever…. Because we are AL-QOIDA, so do not link me with the jama’ah that moves under the da'wah mentioned. We made the move because we were prompted by our sense of concern towards this ummah, they have been sleeping for too long that it's time to get up from their dream in a long slumber, they are being controlled by the unclean and dirty hands, be it the original kafir or the murtadeen who plunder the wealth of the Muslims by which they perpetuate shirk (polytheism) and kufr (disbeliefs), we only want to declare that our god is ALLAH and be istiqomah with His kalimah, we only want to liberate mankind like Rubi’ bin Amir when confronting Rustum: “we come to free the human beings from the human god” from the narrowness of the world to the vastness of Islam, from the darkness of kufr to the light of Islam, from the tyranny of the rulers to the justice of Islam.

We only want the kalimah of ALLAH to tower tall and the kalimah of kufr collapse. And only with this sword we are drawing towards the neck of kufr, we started laying the foundation stone of tawheed just as our Prophet taught us to be real men.

But then again we are only humans who are certain to have weakness and errors, we are not angels created with no error and always perfect. As for that which afflicts us now: “No disaster strikes upon the earth or among yourselves except that it is in a register (i.e. the Preserved Slate or al-lawh al-Mahfudz), before we bring it into being – indeed that, for Allah, is easy.” (Al-Hadid verse 22)

This is our destiny (takdeer) already determined by Allah Ta’ala.

THE CHRONOLOGY OF THE EXERCISE AT MAKO BRIMOB

As for the exercise at Mako Brimob (police mobile brigade command HQ) in Kelapa Dua, it is true. Actually the one who revealed the training in Kelapa Dua for the first time was akhi Mus’ab or Martunis from Bireun when surrendering himself in Langsa (may Allah forgive him) around the end of March 2009. Actually the shooting exercise in Kelapa Dua had been talked about long before the Aceh youths came to Jakarta, at that time Mr. Sutrisno (already arrested for selling firearms for Aceh to myself) offered that if I want to practice shooting, it is possible but I have to pay, because according to Mr. Sutrisno, there are a lot of artists/celebrities or business people or members of PERBAKIN (shooting and hunting club of Indonesia) who usually 'play' there as it costs less compared to the one in Senayan.

I was interested in the exercise because it had been a long time since I last practiced shooting, since I left or deserted the police, especially that we, who had been posted regionally, are a people who used to train. At that time I already had a small circle (Fiah) where there was a plan for training but on the condition that the pants are lengthened (below ankle) and the beards are shaven (so as not to raise suspicion) because we were going to be practicing in the TIGER den.

Not sure why, but it was somehow cancelled at that time, and because I, along with Sighoh (DPO/wanted) had to go to Aceh for the needs of the daurah (education) of the Aceh youths (Aceh camp). I was in Aceh together with Ustadz Hamzah (Dulmatin) and Ustadz Sighoh, to fill in the program there and provide structures for the ikhwah there so that it would be neater, and at that time we selected one ikhwan to be the Mas-ul (responsible person) for the da’wah tawheed wal jihad which would become the embryo of the Aceh Jama’ah of Jihad.

The materials presented in the daurah:

- Ustadz Yahya (Dulmatin): Amniyah lid’da’wah wal JIHAD

- Ustadz Sighoh (Mus’ab): Imaroh, jama’ah

- Myself: Ukhuwah bainal muhajirin wal ansor

In this case we had not known about the Aceh FPI but one of the participants was akhi Tnk. Mukhtar from Pesantren (Dayah) Daarul Mujahidin -Lhok Seumawe-North Aceh. It was around January 2009 at that time, coinciding with the Israeli invasion of Gaza city which created solidarity in almost all the Islamic world and the West, as well as attracting sympathy at home and a lot of fundraising (sunduk) and munasaroh were set up in various places.

After the daurah, we were invited by Tnk. Ahmad and Tnk. Mukhtar (arrested may Allah give patience to them both) to conduct silaturahim to Abu Muslim or Tnk. Liem (may Allah forgive him, at the end of jihad he turned around and persuaded Tnk. Mukhtar to surrender his weapons to the apparatus) at that time we were with:

- Ustadz Hamzah or Yahya or Dulmatin rhm

- Ustadz Sighoh or Mus’ab hafidzhohullah

- Sheikh Ali, a citizen of Tunisia

- Tnk. Marzuki ra

- Yudi, etc.

This meeting was just a normal silaturrahim, and then I together with Dulmatin and Sighoh went back to Jakarta. Not long after that Yudi asked me to train the youths from the Aceh FPI volunteers (because there was a dispatch mobilization to Gaza), therefore a tadrib askari (military training) was held for four days. Actually I at that time was not inclined to train and I did offer the task to Ustadz Hamzah or Dulmatin. He was also not inclined, and he entrusted it to me. Yudi and Tnk. Ahmad managed to convince me, that this was a good opportunity to increase the number of recruitment of volunteers or prospective Mujahids and in the end I relented with a condition that the round trip airfare would be borne by them, because while in Aceh I was the one who always paid for accommodation, as well as tickets to Aceh.

After two days in Jakarta, I immediately flew to Aceh to conduct the tadrib for them, using the materials that I had obtained while in the military (police). I provided them knowledge such as the PJD or close combat techniques, knowledge of combat techniques, patrol, etc. And it's true, we found them to be a people who were eager for jihad in Palestine for the sake of defending their brothers and sisters, and I fed them a little input about the global jihad. After the 4 days training was over, I straight away returned to Jakarta as it had been a long time that I had not met my children and wife because of the daurah, plus the extra 4 days of tadrib.

End of February, I was phoned by Tnk. Mukhtar that they were already in Jakarta i.e. in Petamburan, Central Jakarta, the HQ of the FPI, to be exact. He was with 17 people from Aceh, amongst them:

- Abu Rimba, Mukhlis, Taufik or Abu Sayyaf

- Ja’far, Abu Kuring, Mus’ab, Syam, Budiman

- Mansur, Tnk. Mukhtar, Tnk. Jalal, etc.

Mukhtar and Tnk. Jalal related to me that the Aceh youths were very infuriated because they felt they had been deceived by Yusuf Al-Qordhowi (may Allah demonize his face) that there was no policy of the FPI to dispatch volunteers to Gaza, whereas the training and the sending to Gaza was the initiative of Yusuf Qordhowi, for him to be able to raise as much funds as possible in Aceh (because almost in every city like Samalanga, Bireun, Banda Aceh, Lhok Semawe, Pidie, sunduqs [infaq boxes] for Palestine were set up to raise funds). I prohibited the youths from ganging up to beat Yusuf Qordhowi (this statement will be further explained by Tnk. Mukhtar).

I did invite the youths to come over to my house, simply for a silaturrahim and advised them to always be patient and not harbouring revenge, and at that time I chose the middle path and let them stayed at my house, at that time there were 7 of them, the rest returned to Aceh.

As for that which had made them angry, it was that they felt they had been fooled in Aceh by Yusuf Qordhowi, because apparently the so-called Aceh dispatch (of volunteers) was a trick and fabrication invented by Yusuf (may Allah repay what he had done).

Secondly, they were embarrassed to return to Aceh as they had already been given the Kenduri Peuseujuk (local custom of giving a farewell ceremony) and in the end they did not even depart for Palestine (in this case, let’s be more objective, let it be explained by all of the youths such as Muhsin, Abu Rimba and Tnk. Muktar) and while staying in Jakarta they studied religious subjects and were given materials by a number of Ustadzs, amongst them:

- Ustadz Abdullah Sonata

- Ustadz Khaidir @ HASAN (DPO/wanted) Ex Afghan 5

- Ustadz Sighoh @ Mus’ab

- Ustadz Hamzah @ Yahya@ Dulmatin

- Ustadz Zein

- Ustadz Sofyan (myself)—Yudi Zulfahri, to fill in their days in Jakarta. They were in Jakarta for over a month and Insha Allah, may it be useful, and I suddenly remembered the promise of Mr. Trisno about the shooting practice in the Mako Brimob, and I at that time had a Revolver gun which I had purchased from Mr. Trisno and we asked him how much it would cost to use the facility and Mr. Trisno said that it's 3 million Rupiah (500+ USD) for 5 persons. I had time to change the appearance of my friends and cut their beards, lengthen down their pants and change the Aceh dialect to the dialect of Jakarta or they would just shut up when asked. It was just me and three Aceh youths. They were;

- Mus’ab @ Martunis (surrendered himself)

- Jakfar @ Heri

- Muhlis @ mu

Before departing for the exercise, we dressed them up as security guards, with grey hats and security guards shirts and at that time claiming to be from Mandiri Bank, because I had invited a friend from Mandiri Bank.

We then arrived there and practised shooting with each person given 10 bullets and a long rifle of a Styer type with 10 bullets, and apparently it's true, when we came there I did see many civilians who came there to shoot with us. See, did I involve the FPI, in the people who participated in this shooting practice, in the Aceh terrorism case lately…? Except for 1 man, who had the quality of easily surrendering i.e. Mus’ab. And do as you please to check with Mr. Sutrisno, he lived in Depok at Laut Aru Rd., Bakti Jaya village, Sukmajaya District, but now he is with me here becoming a terrorism detainee at the Polda (District Police) Metro Jaya.

I was captured on 6th March 2010, at the junction of Narogong highway — Cilengsi, Bekasi, West Java, to be exact. My arrest was due to my impatience in wanting to meet my children and wife at that time.

On 22nd February 2010, after the capture of Yudi and then the discovery of the training in Aceh, I who led Camp 2 in Bireun had accommodated a few people who managed to escape, some of those whom I accommodated had been shaheed, amongst them:

- Saptono (shot in Cikampek)

- Maulana (shot in Cawang)

- Ridwan (shot in Pamulang)

- Hasan @ Black Barry-Philippine (shot in Pamulang)

On 24/2/2010 it seemed that our camp that served as the alternative was also discovered, four of us namely Maulana, Taufik @ Abu Sayyaf, Tnk. Ahmad and myself also managed to escape from the siege, bi-idznillah the four of us traverse down the hills, through plantations and were almost caught and alhamdulillah we reached the road and we went to Lhok Samawe. In Lhok Samawe, we split up into two groups:

I was with Maulana and Taufik with Tnk. Ahmad (involved in the case of hand grenade attack on the UN’s UNICEF office and the shootings of the German and American citizens in Banda Aceh), we went down in Langsa, East Aceh and stayed for the night there. It was the 25th of February at that time, I parted ways with Maulana and that was my last moment with him and the words that I heard was, “If there is life, we’ll meet again akhi, Insha Allah” and I was alone in Langsa and then I contacted my wife to come down to Langsa from Lhok Semawe. We then stayed for the night in Langsa-East Aceh, and heard the news that my weapons, two AK47’s were found by the apparatuses, I could not understand of why the weapons could be found, and I heard from Tnk. Ahmad that those weapons had been piled in the jungle along with 17,000,000 ammunitions and a Revolver 38. Since the weapons had been seized, I took the initiative to buy again in Jakarta, because we wanted to fight to the end but there was no weapon.

Then I decided to go home for a while to collect the weapons, it was said that there were two AK47's and three AR15/M16 and one RPD (machine gun), thus on the 28th I went to Medan and on 1st March I left for Jakarta to leave my second wife in my sister's house, and on 2nd March I arrived in Jakarta by land and had time to spend a night at a friend's house in Depok while viewing the situation which turned out to be gunfights between our ikhwahs in Jantho and the Densus 88 in Lemkabeu. I got these news from the internet and TV. I remembered that the weapons still need to be acquired, so I straight away contacted Ustadz Sonata so that he could contact Ustadz Yahya (Dulmatin) but apparently they did not want to meet up with me again because the situation had already been very tense, and my strength faded away, if thus was the case it was only a matter of time. To prepare for the fight, I took the weapon which was of a FN Browning cal 9mm type with 600 bullets, I made do’a, “O Allah, give me shaheed in Your path.” At that time I learned that the hunt had intensified and I intended to meet my children and first wife, because it could be that they would not see their abi (father) again.

At that time I did not know that I was amongst the main targets after Dulmatin and Sonata, so to me it was not dangerous to meet my wife and children. Whereas, my wife had been monitored and followed 24 hours a day, and it was on that appointment for a meeting which we set to be in the tourist city of Cibubur near Cilengsi that my wife was followed from behind. At that time, I was already feeling uneasy as on the night before I dreamed about myself getting arrested by the police, after spitting 3 times to the left side and saying istighfar, I told this dream to my wife.

The TAXI boarded by my wife strayed for some time in the journey and I had even threatened to thwart this meeting, because it had been almost 30 minutes that I waited by the roadside. Something that is taboo in my opinion, and apparently the Densus had been monitoring me from afar (this I got from the Densus who arrested me at that time) and when the taxi carrying my children and wife came, I then boarded the taxi, and left my brother-in-law who had sent me with his motorbike and he kept on following the taxi from behind. And when we were at the junction of the Norogong Highway, Cilengsi, Bekasi, when we were about to turn right, I noticed our taxi had been obstructed and then I saw armed men stopping and opening the back door of the taxi and directed their guns at me, and at that time I was in the position of holding my second child Abdullah Thoriq Jihadi (3.5 years) and on my left side was my first child i.e. Al Muhandis Yahya Ayyash (7 years), and on his left was ummi (his mother) who was holding our youngest child (Aisyah Syahidah Kamila, aged 10 months). When shocked and stunned, some gunfires could be heard which startled my children that they all cried, then my second child whom I was holding was taken away from me and when looking behind all weapons had been aimed at me, at that time I realized that I would be captured and if I wanted to resist I thought my wife and children would certainly be hit by their bullets as they were very closed to me, my wife and children. Therefore, I was then dragged out and forced to lie facing downward on the road and my shoulder being pressed downward and gunfire was heard again which made my second son cry calling his abi, and my feet and hands were cuffed and my FN gun, wallet and bag were seized and put inside the car. And that incident was witnessed by my brother in law who spread the news to my second wife that Mr. Iyan (myself) had been shot by the police.

What happened on the road just now made everyone knowing me weak, including my 2nd wife (Inong) and my sister and her husband (Mr. Heru), who thought that I had died, and it was afterward that we were harassed further until the next morning to find out about the whereabouts of my friends and from where I got those weapons, that when counted there were altogether 30 firearms and almost 30 thousands bullets found for the experiment of the Aceh jihad. This is just a bit of my experience in journeying through the arena and trenches of jihad, as the sweet fruits from this tawheed da'wah.

We are the ones who are bloodied, wounded, hunted and killed for defending tawheed, while there are still those who have the heart to keep on slandering and in fact even profit from the news about us. Waallahu a’lam allahul musra’an.

Accused As Police Spy, Sofyan Tsauri Challenged The FPI For A Mubahalah

Jakarta – The accused of terrorism, Sofyan Tsauri denied the allegation that adjudged him as a police spy who infiltrated the terrorism network in Aceh. Tsauri even dared to conduct mubahalah.

Mubahalah is when each party from amongst those who have different opinions pray a do'a to Allah earnestly so that Allah would send down His curse on the party who lied.

“The FPI does not know anything about me. I am prepared to conduct mubahalah with Habib Rizieq and Yusuf Qardhawi (Chairman of Aceh FPI),” Tsauri said when asked about the FPI's accusation before his trial began in the State Court in Depok, Boulevard Rd., West Java, on Wednesday (6/10/2010).

Tsauri said that there was no fabrication in the things he did. All are purely for da'wah and tawheed. “Even if the one who accused is Osama bin Laden, I am still prepared for a mubahalah,” he said.

The agenda in Tsauri's trial this time was the reading out of the defendant's objection. Tsauri arrived at the Court at 11.30 AM local time. This ex-member of Brimob arrived in a prison vehicle escorted by 3 plain clothed police personnels. The wife and parents of Tsauri had already arrived earlier. When arriving at court, Tsauri was immediately greeted by his wife and his father.

Tsauri was allegedly involved in distributing firearms and training the youths in the military training in Aceh. Tsauri who is also a police deserter, had indeed served in Aceh while still in the police and when the Aceh conflict was still happening.

Based on his lawyer's (Nurlan) explanation, Tsauri joined the Aceh terrorist network under the invitation of someone named Bara, who was mentioned as one of the leaders of the terrorist network. In January 2009, Sofyan went to Aceh and there he had met with Dulmatin.

Tsauri was arrested not long after a raid by the Densus 88 in the woodland of Jantho area, Aceh Besar, Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam, in early March this year. After his arrest, the Director of An Nashr Institute, Munarman who is also the manager of the FPI, suspected Tsauri as a police intelligence who was purposely planted into the military training in Aceh. “He was planted, he also fabricated and designed the movement whose activity was of course called by the police as terrorism, which can be caught by law,” Munarman said on 26th August.

The suspicions grew with the statement from the Chairman of the Aceh FPI, Yusuf Qordhowi who claimed to have seen Tsauri strolling freely outside the Aceh District Police's detention. Tsauri even said hello to Yusuf, before boarding a Vitara car along with several other police heading downtown, according to Yusuf.

The allegation of Tsauri being a police spy had already been denied by Tsauri before in the earlier trial.
