The United States has achieved its will in setting up Karzai as president of Afghanistan. It was able to do that merely through a presidential decision or even a vote in congress. But it wanted a democratic show, in order to deceive its people and the people of the world, by claiming it has achieved something there that justifies the sacrifices of its soldiers and the destruction of its budget. It wants to make the people of the world believe that American tanks and airplanes, the mercenary companies and the dogs of Obama that devour the living and the dead, all of those instruments of death also come with democracy, the goal that justifies all the crimes of killing and mass murder.

The democratic farce no longer fools anyone. For the international public, and the American public too, has been struck by weariness and understand that what is happening in Afghanistan is nothing but a continuing crime concealing its Satanic aims of stealing wealth and gaining the forbidden… specifically that means oil theft and the international trade in heroin are the real face of American democracy in Afghanistan. It has been clear since the beginning that Obama in Washington wants Karzai in Kabul to be a “democratic ruler” chosen by a hundred thousand rifles of the occupation soldiers.

The elections were a joke, and the results a scandal. The American position in Afghanistan has become weaker, proceeding in step with the decline of that nation and the fracturing of its international system. And so the “Unipolar” power has become the sick man, and the source of financial, economic, political and even security weakness for the entire world.

The neighbors and allies of the sick man are trying to distribute his legacy, while he is crawling on the earth fooling himself and eliciting the laughter of the others and the scorn of people, serving as a warning to those who consider the fate of stupid tyrants who become drunk with power, and think they are fooling the world, while they themselves are the ones being fooled.

The scandal of the presidential elections in Kabul was the talk of the world, and eliminated the illusions of many about the nature of a democracy, such as one established on a fraud and the supremacy of the powerful over the people. It is exposed the nature of the American role running on the twin legs of extreme cruelty and despicable treachery.

And it has exposed anew the role of the United Nations as an instrument to execute American policy around the world, and to fool people under the cover that it is a neutral international organization, while in reality it is a lying and criminal American organization. Since the foundation of this organization, its goal has never been to serve people, or to exercise vigilance over the interests of the international community. Rather it was an instrument to serve the interests of the victorious nations in the second world war, in order to divide the world among them safely without leading to another world war.

After the fall of the Soviet Union in Afghanistan, however, and the American pronouncement of victory in the cold war, it swapped down on that international organization and considered it as a prize of war, adding it to its tools of foreign policy. Since its establishment, that organization has taken part in many crimes against the world’s peoples, especially weak people.

The first of its great acts was the declaration of Israel as an internationally recognized state, at the expense of the Muslims of Palestine. All the world recalls the ethnic massacres that occurred in the African states of Rwanda and Burundi under the eyes of the United Nations, which stood silent, even though they had forces there under the supervision of the African Kofi Annan, who was later rewarded by being appointed as Secretary General to the international organization. That was followed by massacres of Muslims in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in which the United Nations peace-keeping force KFOR took part. Under the supervision of Dutch forces there, approximately 10,000 Muslims under their protection were killed in one massacre. At that time, the secretary general was Boutros Boutros-Ghali, himself from a Third World Country, Egypt.

In Somalia, the United Nations forces of Operation Restore Hope used the method of restoring hope by killing Somali Muslims. Pictures were leaked of Italians troops roasting the corpse of a Somali youth as one would roast a goat!

This is the “United Nations” which hid in its offices in Kabul the criminal butcher Najibullah for years, until the justice of the men of the Taliban took him by force and by storm. Just retribution was taken against him and he was hung from a light post. That United Nations organization has not only participated in, but actually organized and arranged the operation for falsifying the recent elections in Afghanistan. It was the arm of America in executing this farce, in accordance with American will to ensure the success of its favored agent Karzai. It is not surprising then that the Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate direct their lightning strikes against the United Nations presence in Kabul, and attacked one its headquarters in the center of the capital, which has forced it to withdraw most of its workers from Afghanistan, which is undoubtedly a prelude to the withdrawal of the occupation forces of America and its allies.

The political logic of that attack is clear: it means the rejection of the hostile and colonialist role on the part of an international organization that claims to be neutral, while serving as a fundamental piece of the policy of establishing the occupation in the country. It is indeed a tool for falsifying the popular will, and executing the will of the occupation and presenting it to the world as the will of the people of Afghanistan. The Islamic Emirate – as the effective ruler of Afghanistan – announced the boycott of the elections and requested the people not to participate in them. The first round confirmed the popular commitment and adherence to the ability of the Emirate to lead and guide the people in their battle against the occupation.

But the United Nations insisted upon continuing in playing its role as a tool in the hands of the occupation, and has been occupied in arranging the falsification of a second electoral round. Hence that educational strike which hit one of its centers in the midst of the regime and armies that protects it. This strike was the direct cause for the halting of the second round of elections and indeed the partial flight of the United Nations from the field of Afghanistan.

Before the American invasion, the relationship between the United Nations and the Islamic Emirate was fraught with tension and mistrust, even though the Emirate had made exhaustive efforts to facilitate the work of international aid organizations. But those organizations worked to sabotage the political institutions of the Emirate and fanned the flames of military rebellion in the country, indeed they worked to supply and equip the forces of rebellion under the pretext of humanitarian assistance.

Some international organizations were caught smuggling weapons to rebels, and some others took part in transporting rebel leaders wanted by the Emirate. Many of those organizations also proselytized among the poor of Afghanistan, and were planning on building churches there.

In Kabul, they were eager to provoke the Emirate authorities, so they held riotous parties, which led to the arrest of some of them for a period, then their expulsion from the country. As soon as the war broke out, among the first thing the American forces did was bring those expelled criminals back with them, under the protection of its forces, which was a clear message the Afghan people that the United Nations and its different organizations are among the tools of the occupation, executing its policies and working under its protection.

Likewise when the occupation forces are compelled to flee from Afghanistan, that colonialist organization which calls itself the United Nations is the other that will also leave without returning. For after the liberation there will be dozens of other means for the entry of the Islamic Emirate into the international arena as an effective party in regional and global politics.

Police Are Yet To Identify Two Janazas

JAKARTA – Today, the police are releasing two photos of the janaza of the suspected "terrorists" whom they have killed in Cawang and Cikampek some time ago. It has been almost a month that the two janazas are being kept in the Kramat Jati Police Hospital. Apparently, such a careful and long identification process is still unable to reveal the identity of the two mysterious janazas. Due to that, a number of elements and Islamic figures started to question the actions of the Densus 88, which are judged by them as having violated the Human Rights.

However, according to the observation of muslimdaily.net, it is actually not too difficult to identify whether the janazas killed by the Densus 88 have been involved in acts of terrorism or not. Based on the experiences that have repeatedly occurred, almost all of the faces of the killed "terrorists" are cheerful and smiling. A part of the Islamic activists assessed that it is a karomah from Allah, which He shows as an ennoblement on what were done by those "terrorists" — they are free from the accusation of some mankind that the terrorists are enemies who must be eradicated.


Therefore, when the DNA identification process and various other tools are not able to identify the janazas, maybe special characteristic features of the janazas of the "terrorist" as generally mentioned above, are able to help the police and us as the general public, in discerning who the people murdered by the police really are.

Perk Up Comrades! Allah Is With Us...

The world of movements is indeed in the process of preparing the best cadres who will raise high the kalimah of Allah on the surface of this earth. Their only bond is the bond of a common aqeedah, the same kalimah of tawheed, that will make them more powerful than before.

It is these cadres who would eventually expand the spirit of da'wah and jihad in this world. Not only in Indonesia, because the ambition would be very small if only measured by an Indonesia. Islam must be victorious all over the world and benefit its inhabitants with a clear Sharia'h.

These cadres grow continuously, increasingly developing with times and extending to the whole country with a common spirit, the spirit of change towards a better direction. Their akhlaq are good, the words they say are also good. These are the capitals that would make them able to become an agent of change forward.

They consist of a various harakahs existing in Indonesia. Mutually strengthening and giving supports to each other. They don't need to mutually aggress, mutually shove or mutually intercept each other just for the sake of wining away the masses. After all, the run is the same, heading for the same one objective, so why should they compete each other. They must be able to take care of the purity of the struggles, that struggling is not for winning big masses, but to seek the pleasure of Allah Ta’ala and proclaim His religion on the surface of this earth.

It should be that they mutually advise each other in goodness and patience. Mutually motivating and complementing each other, not mutually deflating each other. Joining hands in running the programs together where the effects could be very massive. Having discussions in the spirit of looking for solutions, not in the spirit of mutually finishing off each other's opinion.

This is the life that has been awaited for so long. This is the long-awaited yearning. Seeing a whole row of chosen cadres, holding the 'embers' to become the generation of the ghuraba who are willing to sacrifice for Allah the Ar-Rahman. May Allah choose us to become those chosen cadres. Allocating our properties and presenting our souls to struggle for the sake of the beloved Islam. Perk up comrades! Innallah ma’ana…

Prepare To Be Chosen

Now is the time to prepare the heart so that it wants to understand, that the struggles will always need seriousness. Being serious in seeking knowledge and being serious in practicing it. Now is also the time for the soul to want to do for each other. Sacrificing for his brothers with a sincere heart without the feeling of loss and sorrow.

Now is the time to be willing to let go of everything that we have. Setting them aside for the benefits of the works that we have been pioneering together. Swinging the steps, strengthening the grips of our hands and advancing towards the battlefield. The battle that is still unfinished and the struggle that still has a long way to go.

Our days are the days that must be given meaning with goodness and seriousness. Each second should be filled by us with good deeds that will never run out. Carve out the best deeds and cooperate with each other. Remove the feelings of egoism, fanaticism to own circle, assabiyah, tribalism or any form of damping down other ukhuwahs. Hold on to the rope of Allah with as much strength as possible. Allah would surely repay our good deeds with great and satisfying rewards. Once again comrades, Allah is with us!

Killing "Terrorists", Burying Century

One by one, the accused terrorists were arrested and some had been, inshaAllah, shaheed at the hand of the Densus 88. And on the other hand, the big case had sunken together with the death of the “terrorists”, and thus, the society began to slowly forget the case that had made the State lose billions of Rupiahs and which also dragged important names of the state officials. Therefore, the state has succeeded in keeping the ulcers of her officials and she had also succeeded in projecting the “terrorists” as the mischief makers in the tangled and mismanagement of the country (Indonesia - ed.)

From here we can deduce that, when there is a case that drags high officials, then its solution is very easy; find bearded men with pants above the ankles, whose wives are wearing the veils and then shoot them on the spot, and then make it widely reported that the police has succeeded in thwarting a terrorism act that disturbs the sovereignty of the country. Automatically, the public attention would be directed at the “terrorists” and they would slowly “forgive” those higher officials who embezzle the public money.

This is dupery, systematically undertaken by the State and helped by the medias which are of course never siding with the Islamic ummah, let alone being vocal in voicing out for the formalization of the Islamic Shari'ah in living within a nation and state. The theatrical of the people who hate Islam is now complete; it is enough to do a job once but great benefits will be reaped i.e. killing the characters of the Islamic ummah and saving the people who are hungry for power and the plunderers of peoples' money.

This is a big crime, where the best sons of the nation fell at the hand of the rulers without trial, without defense, treated like the scums of the earth. The rulers themselves arrest, shoot and torutre as they like, to divert the issues and cover up the depravity of their cronies, their friends in politics, from getting noosed by the law.

Hence, from here we are confident that democracy does not belong to us, the freedom of speech is not for us and justice and welfare are never ours, they are only for them. Because, all those are achieved by shedding the blood of our brothers, by extorting the sweats of the poor people in this country in which the majority of them are Muslims, selling this country which is fertile and rich with the bounties from Allah SWT for the Islamic ummah to the invaders and the most disgusting of all is plundering the money of the State for their own self-interests.

It is unfit for us to follow their dirty ways, we are too honored to party with them, to mingle with them, the people whose hearts are dead are not the same as those who still have conscience. So, if there are Muslims who are proud for sitting with them, enjoying their banquet, it means that they have betrayed every blood of the Muslims that had been spilled, the children of the Muslims who had died out of hunger and the Muslims who are continually oppressed by the rulers in the name of their seeming democracy.

From this tragedy, we can conclude that the ummah must be mentally agile. Their hatred towards Islam make them use every means to put out our lives, our ideology and the every episode of this life. Allah SWT asks us to take lessons and be more cautious in treading the journey, because being cautious in treading a journey is a characteristic of taqwa.

I recently received this email from a brother:

"Assalamualaikum sheikh. I loved your works, enjoyed and learned from them. I do desire to become one of the Mujahideen but not as you describe. I desire to become a mujahid in da'wah and learning and believe this is the right path. I heard and read some of your views on what the Muslims should do and believe them not to be true. I think you should review your works and when you find the true path, apologize about your previous works. Jihad can't be the right path because this is a religion of peace and if we go around killing everyone, it would be wrong for us to call this religion a religion of peace. What the Muslims should do is evacuate Palestine and Afghanistan and continue with the da'wah and the rest is with ALLAH Insha'Allah."

Just like there is a Muslim for the sake of Allah, there is a new phenomenon of a Muslim for the sake of the disbelievers. And just like the Muslim for the sake of Allah does everything thinking what will Allah will think of me, the Muslim for the sake of the disbelievers does everything thinking what the disbelievers would think of him. So when a Muslim speaks out he does so to please Allah and when our other Muslim does not speak out he does so in order to please the disbelievers. When a Muslim fights he does so for the sake of Allah and when this other Muslim does not fight -even though he has every reason to do so- he does that in order not to displease the disbelievers. Obviously this is not expressed as such but is packaged in nice terms such as ‘this is not good for dawa', or ‘this would turn away the people from Islam'.

Allah says: "It is not your responsibility to guide people but it is Allah who guides whomever He wills."

This Muslim is obsessed with his image in front of the disbelievers. He is so obsessed with it that it becomes his standard for wala and bara. So he loves the Muslims who present the ‘good boy' image to the disbelievers and he despises the Muslims who give Muslims a ‘bad name'.

Rasulullah (saaws) says: One of you does not achieve full Imaan until he loves for Allah, dislikes for Allah, gives for Allah and holds back for Allah.

This Muslim is so aggressive and intolerant with his fellow Muslims but is tolerant and kind towards the disbelievers. He is an extremist with Muslims and a moderate with disbelievers.

Whenever the interests of the disbelievers are threatened or harmed by Muslims he is the first to jump to their defense. He would speak against his brothers and betray them. He may even advise Muslims to spy against one another and report to the authorities. For him fighting for Islam, and for the ummah is terrorism, but he manages to shop for a fatwa that would allow him to serve in the armies of the disbelievers and fight against his brothers. Being a Muslim for the sake of the disbelievers permeates his every action. If he meets a Muslim he frowns and if he meets a disbeliever his face beams with a smile.

In fact there are some Muslims who are so much Muslim for the sake of kuffar that they do not even like Muslims who call the kuffar kuffar!

I mentioned that this is a new phenomenon because this only came about in these later times. The Muslims of the early times would care less about the kuffar, and if they ever did it was for the sake of Allah and not for their sake.

But lets put things in proper perspective:

Allah says about the disbelievers: "They are like cattle, nay, they are even more misguided."

And Rasulullah says about the believer: "Tearing down al Kaaba stone by stone is less than shedding the blood of a Muslim."

The 13th Court Session Of M Jibriel: Cruel Public Prosecutor Sought 7 Years Jail Even With The Absence Of Evidence!

JAKARTA - The 13th court session of M Jibriel's was quite clamorous and attracting the public attention. On the session that was held on Thursday, 20th May 2010, the public prosecutor sought 7 years jail for M Jibriel, the leader and owner of Ar Rahmah Media company, without evidence. The father of M Jibriel, Ustadz Abu Jibriel, prayed so that the curse of Allah SWT would befall the cruel proceedings. Allahu Akbar!

Public Prosecutor's Assertions, Cruel!

The 13the court session of M Jibriel was again tensed up. At 13.30, the Presiding Judge opened the session in which the agenda was the criminal prosecution of M Jibriel. After the welcome, the public prosecutor, Firmansyah, straight away read the prosecutor's charges. By beating around the bush and taking quite a boring time, the public prosecutor charged that M Jibriel had violated two articles i.e. Article 13 letter C Law Number 15 year 2003 about the Decision of Law Replacement Regulation Number 1 year 2002 about Eradication of Terrorism Offenses, and Article 266 paragraph (2) KUHP (Penal Code).

In order to support the weak accusations, the public prosecutor read the entire witness statements from the beginning of the session. Of course, the reading became too boring for the participants who attended knowing that they had been read before and testified that the statements from the witnesses had proven how weak the accusations of the public prosecutor are.

In the end, after they were read by turns, the public prosecutor reached the conclusion that M Jibriel was found guilty and had violated two articles like what had been mentioned above. The public prosecutor sought 7 years in jail for M Jibriel, which commenced from the date he was arrested.

Curse of Allah SWT Be Upon the Cruel Decision!

After the cruel verdict from the public prosecutor, the judge asked M Jibriel and his legal counsel, when they are going to make a plea. M Jibriel and his legal counsel asked for a period of 10 days, but the judge later agreed to give them only one week to prepare for the plea.

Ustadz Abu Jibriel, father of M Jibriel rose up from his seat and rejected the prosecutor's charges which he assessed as cruel. Ustadz Abu Jibriel straight away raised his hands and made do'a so that Allah SWT would curse whoever had issued the cruel demands. The attendees, where most of them were from the jama'ah of Ustadz Abu Jibriel, followed suit to say “ameen!” to the do'a, followed by a cry of takbeer!

The female attendees who were mostly made up of mothers, also felt very upset with the charges from the public prosecutor. They right away protested and complained about the decision. They assertively threatened that the trial of the hereafter would surely repay the actions of the public prosecutor. "Remember, not only in the akhirah, but even during the 'sakaratul maut', one could be punished by Allah SWT if he has committed cruelty," thus expressed a female attendee.

Meanwhile, M Jibriel himself was immediately surrounded by the reporters who wanted to ask him questions about the decision. M Jibriel calmly and confidently stated that the 7 year sentence from the public prosecutor is cruel. "I have never done any of those things that they are accusing me of. In fact, even the witnesses had stated that I did not do those things. Now you see, who is right," he expressed.

The session will resume next week, Thursday, 27th May 2010. The session next week would have the agenda of pleading for a plea, whether it be from M Jibriel or his legal counsel. The takbeer echoed in closing the session this time. Would justice get the better of cruelties in this country?

It is strange indeed, the people who want to worship Allah correctly in this country are called terrorists, while the corruptors/MARKUS are free to roam. This is what happens if a country is being led by the mushrik, they claimed to believe in Allah, but they are more believing in the thaghut.

It had already been expected that there would be no justice and truth in the court sessions of the thaghut, their motive is only to destroy Islam and protect democracy, to spread the impression of fear to the defenders of Islam. But, they still have to be fought for the sake of showing them their falsehood.

Be patient O my brother, other strugglers will remain to continue your aspiration to struggle in the world of media, even though the judge of the thaghut is judging you as guilty. Justice and truth will still be spoken out till the end of time. Allahu Akbar!

TURKEY – The website belonging to the organizers of "Draw Muhammad" competition, which has for some time now, made top news, could not be accessed at this time. If the website with the address http://www.drawmohammed.com/ is accessed, it would only display a black page with some messages on it.

Cyber-Warior TIM For ISLAM, is the name of the hacker group responsible. It appears that they are originating from Turkey, and they are not pleased with the "draw Prophet Muhammad" competition, which is going to be held golbally starting from the 20th of May 2010.

Like what have been extensively reported, a new group that support the Islam-harassing activity by drawing portraits of Prophet Muhammad, emerged on the social network website, the Facebook.com. The group with the name "Everybody Draw Muhammad" has already gained a lot of followers. However, there are also many who protest, and vent their invectives against the group.

Currently, if the website http://www.drawmohammed.com/ is clicked, the visitors would see a black page with some messages in English:

"While All Islam World regard with reverence to your prophet and address him as Hz. ISA A.S ( Christ ) ( putting a holy prefix in front of his name ),

You keep abusing, Islam's almighty Prophet with disgusting and disgraceful cartoons using excuses of freedom of speech.

No doubt, Hz. Isa ( Christ ) would dislike and hate your nation.

At least, the effort made by these hackers from Turkey is one of the ways of defending Prophet Muhammad SAW.

Organizer Of Draw Muhammad Day Seeks Apology

The artist from Seattle who first threw the idea of "Everybody Draw Muhammad" has written an apology and asked for the event to be cancelled.

Initially, Molly Norris was angry that the satirical cartoon of the “South Park” Comedy Central, which presented Prophet Muhammad in a bear costume, was sensored.

Norris initiated the protest with his own comic and announced the creation of the “Everybody Draw Mohammed Day”. Then, other people took over the activity and declared 20th May as the “deciding day”, and they started to collect drawings on the Facebook.

Norris said on his website that he never intended to spread the message, and “This something that I did not plan at all,” Norris said,

Norris has also written a request for apology from the Islamic ummah and asked for that day to be revoked.

Funerals Of Maulana And Saptono

WEST PAMULANG, INDONESIA - Today, Tuesday 18th May 2010, the janaza of Ahmad Maulana was allowed to be taken back home from the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, after it has been nearly a week that the jasad of Maulana was kept in the refrigerating-chamber of the Kramat Jati police hospital.

At around 10:00 hours, two Toyota Avanza cars belonging to the entourage of Maulana's family arrived at the police hospital. Soon after identifying the janaza, the family immediately performed the washing of the janaza, followed by wrapping it up with the white shroud. During the process of the washing, it was noticed that blood was still flowing from the mouth and the ear hole. Gunshot wounds could be seen on the top part of the abdomen, which penetrated to the other side from the waist downwards, on that sturdy body of Maulana.

Approaching the Zuhr prayer, an ambulance which a day earlier was also used to send the janaza of Saptono (the man shot to death by the Densus88 in Cikampek), left the hospital complex. At around 12:30 hour the janaza arrived at the house of Maulana's parents at Reni Jaya Baru AA6/2, Flamboyan Street 3, West Pamulang.

The janaza was rested down inside the house for a while, and then brought to the Al-Hikmah musolla which is about 200 meters away, for the funeral prayer to be performed by the dozens of jama'ah.

After the funeral prayer, the janaza was taken to the Pondok Petir cemetery, Depok, which is 4 km away from the house of Maulana's parents. The groups of sympathizers sending the janaza off to the cemetery could not stop crying out the takbeer. At around 13:30 hour the funeral procession was complete.

Maulana left behind a wife, Siti Hamimah and a son aged 8 years, Ahmad Dahlan from his earlier wife who had passed away earlier.

He was charged of having an involvement in the actions of the armed group in Aceh and joining the Al-Qaidah of Indonesia in the Aceh region.

Maulana was also a suspect in the killing attempt of the Defence Minister Matori Abdul Jalil. This man had also been detained by the government of Malaysia before after having joined the MILF Camp in Mindanao, Philipppines.

In this funeral procession of Ahmad Maulana, not that many police personnels were on guard or setting up security barriers. The residents in the village of Maulana's parents did not question and make an issue out of Maulana's burial in West Pamulang.

The Funeral of Saptono alias Pak Tuo

However, on the funeral of Saptono alias Pak Tuo which took place a day earlier i.e. on Tuesday 17th May 2010, there were a number of incidents encountered by the sympathizers who came from outside of Lebak village.

An information sourced from the family member who contacted the MuslimDaily through the telephone said that the janaza of Saptono arrived at his house in Sajirah village, Lebak, Banten at 15:00 hour. Then, it was laid down for a while inside the house and the solatul janaza was performed by the families. After that the janaza was taken to the village cemetery which is approximately 500 meters away from the house. The janaza of Saptono was laid in the final resting place beside the grave of his brother, who is no other than Pura Sudarma alias Jaja, the man shot to death in a shooting incident in Aceh, not long ago.

Some commotions broke out a few times in the final part of the procession, some sympathizers who came from out of town, who "stubbornly" wanted to be present in the ceremony, received intimidation from the "intel". A sympathizer got his neck smothered and was asked for his identity card. This incident angered the sympathizers who reacted and thus some pushing and shoving occurred. In the end, the "provocateur " retreated and disappeared in the crowd of mourners.

Also seen present for the condolence at the residence of Saptono was Ummi Embay Badriyah, who is no other than the mother of Imam Samudra.

Ahmad Said Maulana

Maulana is considered as one of the important figures in the armed group that did military trainings in the mountains of Jalin Jantho, Aceh Besar. A little information that could be brought to light, Maulana first became active in the arena of jihad during the conflict in Ambon in 1999-2000 where the local Muslims were massacred and the rest driven out by the Christians.

Next, his jihad moved to Poso starting from the year 2000. In a number of video documentations taken in the areas of conflict owned by KOMPAK, it could be seen that Maulana had really plunged into the battlefields at that time. On one of Maulana's arms, there was a scar from a spear wound. According to his mother, he had gotten that wound during his jihad fighting against the primitive kafir Christian in Buru Island, Ambon sometime in 2000.

Year 2003, Maulana departed for the Philippines for weaponry trainings, as well as military combats. On the way home from the Philippines, Maulana was arrested in Malaysia, and he served a sentence of 5 year imprisonment after being affected by the inhumane Malaysian law of International Security Act (ISA).

Late 2008, Maulana was freed and returned to Indonesia. Apparently, his desire to conduct jihad continued to burn intensely, even though he had been crouching in the Malaysian jail for five years, where it was said that the prisons there are more cruel than the prisons in Indonesia. He had just been released, and it was already reported that he was hunted by the police of Kalimantan after being accused of arms trafficking. Until eventually, an eventful news about the existence of an armed group in Aceh came out early this year. This group claimed themselves to be the Tandzhim Al Qaidah of the Front Porch of Makkah.

Along with Abdullah Sunata (May he be blessed by Allah to become the commander of jihad in our country! AMEEN! - ed), his companion in the Ambon-Poso jihad under the organization of the Laskar Mujahideen Kompak and who at this moment becomes the number one DPO (wanted person) in Indoneisa, Maulana was suspected as being the brain behind the armed trainings in Aceh.

This lately, a photo of man that resembles Maulana appeared on a social network website, Facebook. It was a photo of a man holding a long-barreled gun. The photo has the texts “Mujahid Maulana Rahimahullah” written on it . It is still not known who posted that photo.

Now Maulana has gone, his jasad is resting peacefully in its 'place' at Pondok Petir, Depok. While we pray that his deeds are accepted by Allah and he is accepted as a Shuhada'. Insha Allah!

O Allah! Raise from this ummah 100 Mujahids for every Mujahid who has fallen. O Allah! Inflict upon 10 enemy soldiers disasters and miseries for every Mujahid who has fallen or are captured!

السلام عليكم ورحمةالله وبركاته

It is indeed the decision of Allah SWT, to test His believing slaves to differentiate who among them are true and who are false, just as Allah Ta’ala says:

أحب الناـو أن يتركواأن يقولوا أمنا وهم لا يفتنون . ولقد فتناالذين من قبلهم فليعلمن الله الذين صدقوا وليعلمن الكاذبين

Meaning: “Do men think that they will be left alone on saying, 'We believe', and that they will not be tested? We did test those before them, and Allah will certainly know those who are true from those who are false.” (QS. Al-Ankabut: 2-3)

Not excluding those who are inviting to Tawheed, where they are the successors of the da’ies, the Prophets, just as Allah Ta’ala says:

ولقد كذبت رسل من قبلك فصبروا على ما كذبوا وأوذوا حتى أنا هم نصرنا ولا مبدل لكلمات الله

Meaning: “Rejected were the apostles before thee: with patience and constancy they bore their rejection and their wrongs, until Our aid did reach them: there is none that can alter the words (and decrees) of Allah. Already hast thou received some account of those apostles.” (QS. Al-An’am: 34)

And I am sure, you have known what is happening to most of the ikhwans recently, what have been endured by them in the forms of killings, imprisonments, banishments and arrests, as per the laws of the rulers of this country (Indonesia – ed), therefore (don't you forget them) make do’a to Allah for them and pray for them to be istiqomah in firmess upon this path.

May you all be consistent and persistent always upon this straight Dien and precious Tawheed, as well as upon this fully blessed Da'wah. Don't you be among the people who worship Allah, when obtaining fortunes he is happy with it, but when struck by fitnah, he turns back. So, he is a loser in this dunya and akhirah and such is the true loss.

So, get yourselves racing with each other towards helping this religion and always make efforts relentlessly to aid those who are detained, banished and restrained, even just with a do’a, aid their families and the families of the Shuhada's and those who are hindered (blockaded, displaced) and look after the families of those who are detained amongst them, don't you be classified as the people who are disappointing them, and for you who are facilitated by Allah in the form of rizq, for you are virtues and patronage with Allah.

Latest Advice From DPO Abdullah Sunata To Ikhwan Mujahideen

The current most wanted 'terrorist' by the Densus 88 Mabes Polri, Abdullah Sonata, declared that he would not surrender. Hence, Sonata motivates the ex-prisoner 'terrorists' to return to the jihad arena. Besides that, this man believed by the police to be taking the role of Dulmatin also invites the entire alumnis of Afghanistan, Moro-Mindanao (Philippines), and the Poso conflict to unite.

This is a rough translation (from Indonesian + Arabic) of the latest message of advice from this Mujahid who is listed in the DPO or wanted persons list of the thaghut government of Indonesia. Such a difference between the words of those who are upon Jihad in their persons and the advices of those who are merely spectators.

AN ADVICE FROM A DPO ("Daftar Pencarian Orang" or Listed Wanted Person – ed.) …………………

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته.
إن الحمد لله نحمده ونستعينه ونستهديه ، ونعوذ بالله من شرور أنفسنا ومن سيئات أعمالنا، من يهده الله فلا مضل له ، ومن يُضلل فلا هادي له.
وأشهد أن لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له ، وأشهد أن محمداً عبده ورسوله.

أما بعد: فإن أصدق الحديث كتابُ الله ، وخيرَ الهدي هديُ محمد صلى الله عليه و سلم ، وشرَّ الأمور محدثاتها ، وكل محدثةٍ بدعة ، وكل بدعة ضلالة ، وكل ضلالة في النار.

Alhamdulillah all praises are for Allah alone, Who has given us various favors and gifts, the greatest and most important are the gifts of iman, Islam and taqwa, as well as hidaayah upon the path of jihad fie sabiilillah, because it is with this favors that Allah honors the Muslims and dishonors the kafir, Allah honors His awliya' and Allah humiliates His enemies, so fortunate are those who are firm on this path and doomed are those who abandon it.

Salawat and salam always be upon our uswah, the esteemed Rasulullah, the Imam of the God-fearing people and the Mujahideen, who have fulfilled the mandate and conveyed the message. We are aware that we are his forces who are prepared to carry his risaalah (messages), even if our times are running out, our treasures are drained and our lives are gone from the bodies, for the sake of continuing his struggle. May we all attain his shafa’at on the last day. As well as his household and all the Sahabahs and ummah until the end of time.

Ikhwanunaal Mujahideen Rahimakumullah…… This is a message of advice from me, a humble slave of Allah to you all, the activists and the Mujahideen specifically, and the Muslims generally. I am not the 'alim (learned) person or the best amongst us all, but this message was made by me while being on the run as a form of tanashuh (mutual advice) and tadzkirah (words of advice) for us all. May we be able to obtain ibrah (lessons) from this message, the truth comes from Allah and the error comes from myself as His feeble slave and full of khilaf (mistakes), I beg forgiveness from Allah from all the mistakes and sins.

Allah says:

Meaning: “By time. Verily, mankind is in loss. Except for those who have believed and done righteous deeds and advised each other to truth and advised each other to patience.” (QS. Al-‘Asr; 1-3).

The Prophet said:

اَلدِّيْنُ النَّصِيْحَةُ. قُلْنَا : ِلمَنْ ؟ قَالَ : ِللهِ, وَلِكِتَابِهِ وَلِرَسُولِهِ وِلأَئِمَّةِ الْمُسْلِمِيْنَ وَعَامَّتِهِمْ

Meaning: "The Dien is Advice." We asked: "For whom?" He said: “For Allah, His Book, His Rasul, the leaders of the Muslimeen, and for the Muslimeen in general”. (HR. Bukhari, Muslim).

Ikhwan Fillah Rahimakumullah…..

Allah has commanded us to always have taqwa to Him and die upon this taqwa.

Meaning: “O you who have believed, fear (have taqwa to) Allah as He should be feared and do not die except as Muslims [in submission to Him].” (QS. Ali Imran; 102).

Allah has also commanded us to acquire this taqwa by means of Jihad fie Sabiilillah, just as He says:

Meaning: “O you who have believed, fear Allah and seek the means [of nearness] to Him and strive (conduct jihad) in His cause that you may succeed.” (QS. Al-Maidah; 35).

Ikhwaanunaal Mujaahideen Rahimakumullah…..

After the fully blessed event of the WTC ‘amaliyah istishahadiyah, the world is now divided into two groups; first, those who join and support the policy of America and second, those who are called terrorists (read: Mujahideen) by America, this was as declared by George War Bush, 6 days post the WTC event, this is a Crusade, and arrogantly he also said; “with us or them, the terrorists (read: Mujahideen)!!?”

Meaning: “…Hatred has already appeared from their mouths, and what their breasts conceal is greater…” ( QS. Ali Imran; 118)

The ex-Prime Minister of Israel, Ariel Sharon La’natullahi ‘alaihi was once asked by the reporters about the boundaries of the state of Israel, and with arrogance he responded that the territorial boundary of his country is as far as the feet of his military could grip their nails. He dared to utter this because, one of the beliefs of the Jews which is sourced from their kitab (Talmud) is that the borders of the great state of Israel is spread from the stream of the River Nile in Egypt to the River Eupharte in Iraq, nearly the entire middle east is claimed by them as their territory, not just Palestine. Hence, they are exerting every effort, collaborating with America to realize the existence of this Great State of Israel. So, all those talks about peace treaty and ceasefire are just bulls**t, because what is in their minds are war in order to realize the “holy mission” of the establishment of the great state of Israel.

Meaning: “…they will continue to fight you until they turn you back from your religion, if they are able…” ( QS. Al-Baqarah; 217).

Ikhwan Fillah Rahimakumullah……. This is the reality of the world that is happening today, the battle between the Mujahideen and America and their allies the puppet agents, so which side are you on?

Meaning: “Those who believe fight in the cause of Allah, and those who disbelieve fight in the cause thaghut. So fight against the allies of Satan. Indeed, the plot of Satan had ever been weak.” (QS. An-Nisaa’; 76).

Due to that, O ikhwan, let us strengthen our convictions, reinforce our principles, unite our ranks, don’t let ourselves be weak in confronting the enemies of Allah, don’t let the dunya deaden our hearts and divert us from this path of jihad, that will make us humiliated. Know O ikhwah… Worldly materials and luxuries (let alone the facilities from thaghut) are things that deaden the hearts, weaken the mental of the Mujahideen, until they become weak in confronting the enemies’ plots, afraid to face the trials in this path and abandon the jihad fie Sabiilillah. In fact, there are even those who have turned into detractors of jihad and the Mujahideen, weakening the Muslims, as well as becoming the helpers of the enemies of Allah. Rasulullah has said:

إذا تبايعتم بالعينة وأمسكتم بأذناب البقراني, ورضيتم بالزرع, وتركتم الجهاد سلط الله عليكم ذلا لا ينزعه حتى تراجعوا دينكم

Meaning: “When you enter into the ‘aynah transaction (riba), hold the tails of oxen, are content with farming, and give up jihad, Allah will cause humiliation to prevail over you, and will not withdraw it until you return to your commitment to Islam.” ( HR. Abu Daud. Saheeh Al Jami’ Ash Shoghir, no. 324).

Know O ikhwah….. if you are busy in business and trade, as well as keeping yourself busy in the activities of da’wah and tarbiyyah only, not being courageous to plunge into the jihad arena, not practicing the ‘ilm of askari any longer, no i’dad anymore and never again think of how to destroy the enemies of Allah, it is all these things that cause our hearts to be dead, our mental weak and we become cowards, scared to confront the enemies of Allah and other consequences when we are istiqomah upon this way of jihad. This is as what has been mentioned by Sheikh Abdullah Azzam in his message of advice for the activists of da’wah: “… You have no value unless you are carrying your weapons on your shoulder, to beat down the thaghut and the kafir. Indeed, those who think that Islam can triumph without jihad and battle, without the shedding of bloods and shards of their flesh, really they are in haziness and not understanding the nature of this Dienul Islam, indeed, the authority of the da’wah activists, the power of da’wah and the success of the Muslims would not be realized without battles”. Rasulullah said:

وَلَيَنْزِعَنَّ اللهُ مِنْ قُلُوبِ أَعْدَاءِكُمُ الْمَهَابَةَ مِنْكُمْ وَلَيَقْذِفَنَّ اللهُ فِي قُلُوبِكُمُ الْوَهْنَ قَالُوا وَمَا الْوَهْنُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ؟ قَالَ : حُبُّ الدُّنْيَا وَكَرَاهِيَةُ الْمَوْتِ. وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ كَرَاهِيَةُ الْقِتَالِ

Meaning: …“Allah will take the fear of you from the breasts (hearts) of your enemy and cast al-wahn into your hearts.” Someone asked, “O Messenger of Allah, what is al-wahn?” He replied, “Love of the world and dislike of death.” In other riwaayah, "…hate of war." (HR. Abu Daud and Ahmad from sahabah Tsauban).

Allah says:

فَقَاتِلْ فِيْ سَبِيْلِ اللهِ لاَ تُكَلَّفُ إِلاَّ نَفْسَكَ وَحَرِّضِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ عَسَى اللهُ أَنْ يَكُفَّ بَأْسَ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا وَاللهُ أَشَدُّ بَأْسًا وَاَشَدُّ تَنْكِيْلاً

Meaning: “So fight in the cause of Allah, you are nor held responsible except for yourself. And rouse the believers [to fight] that perhaps Allah will restrain the [military] might of those who disbelieve. And Allah is greater in might and stronger in punishment”. (QS. An-Nisaa’: 84).

In other texts Sheikh Abdullah Azzam wrote:

“O you, the people who have struggled in the arena of da’wah, O you, who have set a great ambition, do not hesitate to present your blood for the sake of this Dien. If you are true and sincere, then present your blood and souls to Allah Rabbul ‘alamin Who has entrusted it to you all and then purchased it from you.”
Meaning: “Indeed, Allah has purchased from the believers their lives and their properties [in exchange] for that they will have Paradise. They fight in the cause of Allah; so they kill and are killed.” (QS. At-Tawbah; 111).

Ibnu Katsir mentioned in his tafseer that this is a verse of bai’at from the people who have iman to Allah, a bai’at to die fighting in the path of Allah. This is our oath to Allah.

Commander Abu Mush’ab Al Zarqawi ever advised us, as mentioned in his message of advice to the da’ies and Muslim youths:

"O ulama’s of the ummah, O da’ies, O Muslim youths…

Have taqwa to Allah, have taqwa to Allah and pursue what all these times have gone from you; indeed, the guarantee of safety is only existing on the swords…

Look, the enemies of the Shari’ah of Islam are in your midst, so attack them. And give your aids to your ikhwans by giving as valuable and as dear as possible from what you possess, before history reprimands you sooner or later. Yes, before history talks bad about you, before this ‘market’ passes by, and the fortunate people would go bringing their fortunes, while the losers will be losers."

A poet said:

إِذَا كَانَتِ النُّفُوسُ كِبَارًا
تَعِبَتْ مِنْ مُرَادِهَا اْلأَجْسَامِ

If it is true that the soul is great..

Surely the body would be at pains in fulfilling its ambition…

كَيْفَ الْقَرَارُ وَكَيْفَ يَهْدَأُ مُسْلِمٌ
وَالْمُسْلِمَاتُ مَعَ الْعَدُوِّ الْمُعْتَدِي

How could a Muslim remain silent, and how could a Muslim remain in peace…

While the Muslimahs are with the cruel enemies…

May Allah bless the person who expressed the following kalimah:

“O you people who wish to woo the angelic maidens in heaven but do not have even a ‘dime’ of enthusiasm, don’t you dream, don’t you dream! Gone is the sweetness of the younger days, and what remain are only the bitterness of regrets.”

Know O ikhwan, there are now many activists, in fact some of them had even participated in jihad in the lands of Jihad, the title “alumni” have been achieved by them, but since they are preoccupied with trade, da'wah and tarbiyah only, they are leaving Jihad fie Sabiilillah. In fact, many have fallen into the acts of sins and vices, in the name of at-tahdzir (giving stern warning, judging, convicting – etc.) they then talk bad about their fellow Muslim brothers, by ghibah, fitnah, accusing of Mr. A as jasus (agents), calling Mr. B as already out of the jama’ah and thus has to be alienated, the jihad of Mr. So-and-so is hasty, without 'ilm and only depending on enthusiasm, and many other negative expressions. This has descended upon the “alumnis”, in fact there are many amongst them who have consciously or otherwise become the Bani Abas (subordinates of Nasir Abas), so, what about the condition of those who have never participated in jihad at all? Especially those from amongst the circle of the Irja’ (salafi), as well as those who have the aqeedah of democracy and the likes of it such as the Sabili group who can talk “eloquently”, it is possible that they have never been to the lands of Jihad and to the fronts, carrying weapons on their shoulders, shooting at the kafirs, but then they talk a lot in discrediting the Mujahideen and their deeds of jihad, as well as committing at-tahdzir on them…!!

Yes akhi… they have been doing a good deed, making efforts to conduct jihad against America and their lackeys, the thaghut and murtadeen. They have striven. How about us, what have we done?? Claiming to be 'alim (learned) and more knowledgeable, and then we talk much, whereas many from amongst us do not know the actual occurrences (such as the Aceh Jihad and the al-Qoidah tandzhim of Aceh), but they are good at assessing. This is wickedness akhi, which causes our hearts to be dead and our mental weak. Yes akhi, they have shown it with their deeds, not merely with much talking ….

Meaning: “And say: 'Work (righteousness): Soon will Allah observe your work, and His Messenger, and the Believers: Soon will you be brought back to the Knower of what is hidden and what is open: then will He show you the truth of all that you did.'" (QS. At-Tawbah; 105).

To the munafiq who do not want to conduct jihad, and yet they gossip and mock the Muslimeen who are conducting jihad, Allah explains that the proving of their true iman is by deeds, if it is true that they have iman, then prove it with the deed!! What deed?? No other than Jihad fie Sabiililah, the deed most hated by the munafiqeen, just as He says in the clusters of verses in surah at-Tawbah which explains the behaviors of the munafiq people:

Meaning: "They (the munafiq people) will make excuses when you have returned to them. Say: 'Make no excuse – never will we believe you (because) indeed Allah has already informed us of your news [i.e. affair]. And Allah will observe your deeds, and [so will] His Messenger; in the end will you be brought back to Him Who knows what is hidden and what is open: then will He show you the truth of all that you did.'" (QS. At-Tawbah; 94).

Ikhwah Fillah whom I love….. Chase after death, surely you will be given life. Don't you be deluded by the worldly dreams, and don't be deceived by anything or anyone while obeying Allah. Don't you be deceived by the news and opinions that abound, don't you be lulled by the facilities and luxuries, and don't you be lulled by being transfixed with tashfiyah (purification) and tarbiyah (development) only. Of course, a Mujahid cannot and would never belittle da'wah and tarbiyah, but remember your activeness are only in these areas and in other affairs which are tranquilizing to the hearts, don't let it make you forget the bigger and greater issues, as well as the main obligation in raising high the kalimah of Allah.

وتودون أن غير ذات الشوكة تكون لكم…

“..…and you wished that the one unarmed should be the one you face…..” (QS. Al-Anfal; 7).

Impossible O Akhi….. Today the kafir are aiming their weapons at the Muslims, the Muslims are fought against in various places, their honors are disgraced and the Shari'ah of Islam are rooted out, in fact even the country where the majority of the people are Muslims do not have the Shari’ah of Islam, that protects them, applied anymore, what exists is the law of the thaghut invented by the human. This is the true war, because of Islam, not because of Usamah bin Laden as the foremost Qo’id in the direct war against America and their stooges, also not because of Al-Qoidah, Taliban and others, but because of Islam, they are fighting Islam, they do not want Islam and the Muslimeen to return to glory.

Meaning: “And never will the Jews and Christians approve of you until you follow their religion. Say, 'Indeed the guidance of Allah is the [only] guidance'. And indeed if you were to follow their desires after what has come to you of knowledge, you would have against Allah no protector or helper.” (QS. Al-Baqarah; 120).

Meaning: “And they ill-treated the mu'min for no other reason than that they believed in Allah, Exalted in Power, Worthy of all Praise!,” (QS. Al-Buruj; 8).

Meaning: “…and they should be on the alert and bear arms: the unbelievers wish that you are negligent of your arms and your logistics, to assault you in a single rush.” (QS. An-Nisaa’; 102).

Ikhwah Fillah rahimanii wa Rahimakumullah….. Indeed, looking for excuses to not depart for jihad with various excuses will pollute the souls. Because, allowing ourselves to not fighting fie sabilillah is a derision and a joke, in fact it is making fun of the Dien (religion) of Allah. Indeed, looking for excuses with worldly dreams without doing i’daad (preparing the strength) is the condition of a diminutive spirit which does not have the enthusiasm to reach the peak of the mountain. Don't you remember the advice of Abdullah bin Mubaarak to his sahabah, Fudhail bin ‘Iyadh:

يَاعَابِدَ الْحَرَمَيْنِ لَوْ أَبْصَرْتَنَا
لَعَلِمْتَ أَنَّكَ بِالْعِبَادَةِ تَلْعَبُ
مَنْ كَانَ يَخْضِبُ خَدَّهُ بِدُمُوعِهِ
فَنُحُورُنَا بِدِمَائِنَا تَتَخَضَّبُ

O you people, who worship in the two holy masjids, if you could just see us…

You'd surely understand that you, in your worship are just doing it playfully…

If the people's cheeks are trickling with tears…

Verily, our necks are smeared with blood…

Ikhwah Fillah….. This was the opinion of an ahlul fiqh, ahlul hadith and at the same time a Mujahid (i.e. ‘Abdulloh bin Mubaarak) about the people who are sitting side by side with the Masjidil Haram, worshiping inside it, while at the same time the sanctity of Islam was abused, the blood of the Muslims was shed, His awliya' were fought and imprisoned, their honors were trampled and insulted, as well as the Dien of Allah uprooted down to its finest roots! He regarded, “…. it is making fun of the Dien of Allah....”

Yea Akhi….. don't you feel satisfied for having conducted jihad in Afghanistan, Moro, Ambon, Poso and other places, don't you feel content for already achieving the title alumni, but now you are silent and stepping backward. Know that this duty of Jihad is encumbered upon us until we die, we will be in sin if we leave it, as long as there is still shirk and kufr, then it is wajib for us to conduct jihad until this dien is solely for Allah.

Meaning: “And fight them until there is no fitnah and [until] the religion [i.e. worship], all of it, is for Allah.” (QS. Al-Anfal; 39).

Al-Qurthubi stated in his tafseer 2/253, from Ibnu Abbas and As-Suddi that what was meant by fitnah in the above verse is shirk and kufr. (also mentioned in Misbahul Munir, Mukhtashor Tafseer Ibnu Katsir).

To the ikhwan Mujahideen Hafidzokumullah, who have been freed from the prisons of the thaghut………….

How are you, O ikhwah Mujahideen who have been freed from the prisons of the thaghut? May you all be in goodness and istiqomah. Just as Allah says:

Meaning: “Indeed those who said, 'Our Lord is Allah' and then remained on a right course – the angels will descend upon them, [saying], 'Do not fear and do not grieve but receive good tidings of Paradise, which you were promised'”. (QS. Fussilat: 30).

In explaining this verse Sheikhul Islam, Ibnu Taimiyyah said regarding istiqomah:

اِسْتَقَامُوا عَلىَ مَحَبَّةِ اللهِ وَعَلَى عِبَادَتِهِ وَلاَ يَلْتَفِتُوا مِنْهُ يَمِيْنَةً وَلاَ يَسْرَةً

“Firm (persevering) upon the love for Allah and upon the ibaadah towards Him, and no turning of the head (diverting) left and right”.

That is the reality of the true Istiqomah. May we all remain istiqomah on this path of fie sabilillah, even though we have been imprisoned and experiencing various forms of torture from the thaghut. The prison is not the end from our ibaadah of fie sabillah, but the prison is the starting point to take another step in the journey fie sabilillah for the sake of reaching one of the two goodness “Victory or Shaheed”. Because, it is by this that Allah differentiates those who are true and those who are false in their iman.

Just as Allah says:

Meaning: “Do men think that they will be left alone on saying, 'We believe', and that they will not be tested? We did test those before them, and Allah will certainly know those who are true from those who are false.” (QS. Al-Ankabut: 2-3)

And Allah says:

Meaning: “Did you think that you would enter Heaven without Allah testing those of you who fought hard (In His Cause) and remained steadfast?” (QS. Ali Imran: 142).

And Allah says:

Meaning: “Or do you think that you shall enter the Garden (of bliss) without such (trials) as came to those who passed away before you? they encountered suffering and adversity, and were so shaken in spirit that even the Messenger and those of faith who were with him cried: 'When (will come) the help of Allah?' Ah! Verily, the help of Allah is (always) near!” (QS. Al Baqarah; 214).

Therefore, if we stop from this path fie Sabilillah after we get out of prison, then it is the same as stopping in the journey towards Jannah. Isn't it that way akhi?

Ikhwah fillah whom I love…

We have together felt the bitterness of the lives under the stranglehold of the thaghut, we have together felt the pains of being tortured by the thaghut, and we have together undergone the tense atmosphere when under interrogation by the thaghut, we have together experienced the stale and constrictive lives inside the cells with iron bars of the thaghut. In fact, until now there are a lot of our ikhwans who are still tested by these prisons. We have together felt the oppression, fear and in fact almost murtad from this Dien because of the unbearable trials. True… I myself have felt that these trials are unbearably burdensome and painful. That sometimes it made our hearts weak and weary. Not to mention the families left behind, these trials are getting more intense. After we were released from the prison we had stumbled upon other trials; economic problems, being shunned by other ikhwans, considered as already unclean and could no longer be trusted, as well as many other trials. But akhi, must we stop from this path??! And it is real that there are some of our ikhwans who, after being released from the prisons, are becoming the “antho” (ansar thaghut) and Bani Abas (subordinates of Nasir Abas, the turncoat). Must we be like them akhi??! Must we stop from this path of Jihad fie Sabiilillah?? NO akhi, be istiqomah! The journey we have trodden is already thus far, there have been a lot of deeds we have performed. Do you still remember when we were doing the activities together in the jihad fronts of Ambon, Poso and other places? Do you still remember when we wandered blindly across the sea and were exhausted over the mountains in order to face death? Do you still remember when we were together devising strategies to destroy the Obet and Sundalaw headquarters? Honest akhi, I cried when I am writing this down, remembering the memory of our past in the Jihad land. The journey that we have traveled is already long, such beautiful is the story of our Jihad. Istiqomah O akhi! Don't let ourselves stop from this path and return backwards, don't let our deeds be erased because of the factors of worldly materials, don't let our aqeedah be pawned, don't let our tawheed be corrupted akhi!

Meaning: "And verily it has been revealed to you and those [prophets] before you that if you ascribe partner to Allah [shirk], all your works shall most certainly have been in vain: you shall most certainly be among the lost." ( QS. Az-Zummar; 65).

From Cipinang not long ago, in a study via HP, Ustadz Mukhlas had advised by citing the conclusion taken from the advice of Sheikh Al-Maqdisi hafidzohullah: “The imprisoned people would be formed to become three groups:

First: The people who remain istiqomah and their iman are getting stronger by the
trials. They would continue the jihad fie sabilillah after they have been released.

Second: The people who are 'futur' (lame/dispirited) to conduct jihad again. As they fear that the trials would happen to them again.

Third: The people who are murtad for becoming the Ansarut thaghut (Agents of thaghut) and turning hostile towards jihad and the Mujahideen.

Wallahu a’lam bis sowab, we are in which group? The one who knows the answer after Allah is us. Isn't it that way akhi? May we be amongst the first group.

Abu Bakar As-Siddiq ever advised:

اُطْلُبُوا الْمَوْتَ تُوْهَبْ لَكَ الْحَيَاةُ

“Seek death! Surely, you would find life”.

Death is something that is sure to come, we do not know when death will approach us, death is lurking every second. Due to that, prepare the provisions, don't let death come to us while we are committing sins to Allah, Na’udzu Billah min dzalika. It is not death that we fear, but we fear that we die in the state of disobedience to Allah and His Rasul, in the state when the aqeedah is corrupted, and in the state when we are abandoning Jihad fie Sabiililah, as well as deflating Jihad and the Mujahideen. That is the death of su’ul khatimah, be careful akhi, don't let ourselves fall into it. We are hoping to die in Husnul khatimah, to die as Shaheed, until we could get, insha Allah, what Allah and His Rasul have promised. Allah says:

Meaning: “And never think of those who have been killed in the cause of Allah as dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving rizq (provision), rejoicing in what Allah has bestowed upon them of His bounty, and they receive good tidings about those [to be martyred] after them who have not yet joined them – that there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.” (QS. Ali Imran : 169-171).

Rasulullah said:

إِنَّ لِلشَّهِيْدِ عِنْدَ اللهِ سِتَّ خِصَالٍ : أَنْ يَغْفِرَ لَهُ فِي أَوَّلِ دَفْعَةٍ مِنْ دَمِّهِ, وَيُرَى مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ, وَيُحَلَّى حُلَّةَ اْلإِيْمَانِ, وَيُزَوَّجُ مِنَ الْحُورِ الْعِيْنِ, وَيُجَارُ مِنْ عَذَابِ اْلقَبْرِ, وَيَأْمَنُ مِن الْفَزَعِ اْلأَكْبَرِ, وَيُوضَعُ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ تَاجُ الْوَقَارِ اَلْيَاقُوتَةُ مِنْهُ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فيها, وَيُزَوَّجُ اثْنَتَيْنِ وَسَبْعِيْنَ زَوْجَةً مِنَ الْحُورِ الْعِيْنِ, وَيُشَفَّعُ فِي سَبْعِيْنَ إِنْسَانًا مِنْ أَقَارِبِهِ

Meaning: “The Shaheed is granted seven special favors from Allah. He is forgiven (his sins) at the first drop of his blood. He sees his place in Paradise. He is dressed in the clothes of Iman. He is married to the Hoor al-‘Ain (beautiful women of Paradise). He is saved from the punishment of the grave. He will be protected from the great fear of the Day of Judgement. A crown of honour will be placed on his head, one jewel of which is better than the whole world and what it contains. He is married to seventy-two of the Hoor al-‘Ain (beautiful women of Paradise), and he will be able to intercede for seventy members of his family.” [Saheeh – Related by Ahmad, at-Tirmidhi and Ibn Hibbaan]

Rasulullah himself wanted to be killed a number of times in the path of Allah :

وَلَوَدِدْتُ أَنْ أُقْتَلَ فِيْ سَبِيْلِ اللهِ ثُمَّ أُحْيَا ثُمَّ أُقْتَلُ ثُمَّ أُحْيَا ثُمَّ أُقْتَلُ

Meaning: “Verily, I am truly wishing if I could be killed in the cause of Allah, then I should be brought back to life again, then get killed again, and then brought back to life, and then get killed again.” (Muttafaqun’alaih).

In Saheeh Bukhari Muslim from Anas bin Malik he said: When Harom bin Milhan was stabbed during the incident of Bi’ru Ma‘unah –Harom was the uncle of Anas—, he smeared the blood on his face and head while uttering: “Fuztu wa robbil Ka‘bah…!” (By the Lord the Owner of Ka‘bah, I have won).

Try to reflect on it akhi, how could someone who saw death in front of his eyes swore that he had won, if not because of having smelt the fragrance of paradise?

Ikhwan Fillah whom I love…… It is not possible for us to achieve these favors without the deed of Jihad fie Sabiilillah, it is not possible for us to achieve victory without being killed in the path of Allah, it is impossible for Allah to give the rizq of being a Shuhada' if we are only sitting around. This was the advice of Khalid Al-Islambuli before he was executed to death:

كَثِيْرٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ مَنْ يَتَّخِذُ الْحَيَاةَ طَرِيْقًا إِلَى الْمَوْتِ وَأَنَا اخْتَرْتُ الْمَوْتَ طَرِيْقًا إِلَى الْحَيَاةِ

“Most of mankind make life as a way towards death. While, I make death as a way towards life”.

May Allah have mercy on Ibnu Hazm when he said:

My ambition in the world is to spread 'ilm

I spread it in every valley and village

Calling towards Al-Quran and sunnah

Which the people purposely forget in khutbahs

And I compel myself to become a Mujahid at the border of the enemies

When the ominous voices approach, I am the first one to come

To greet death in the state of persistently advancing

Using long pegs and deadly hammers

In confrontation with the kafir in the battle arena

The noblest death for a youth is to be killed by the kafir

My Lord, don't let me die except in this way

And don't make me one who inhabits the pit of the grave

That was Ibnu Hazm .…………

تَرْجُوا النَّجَاةَ وَلَمْ تَسْلُكْ مَسَالِكَهَا إِنَّ السَّفِيْنَةَ لاَ تَجْرِي عَلَى الْيَبَسِ

“You want success, but you do not want to traverse the journey. (Know) that the ship would not be sailing over the sand”. (Inserted in Shu’abul Iman by Imam al-Bayhaqi).

تعددت الاسباب والموت واحد
من لم يمت بالسيف مات بغيره

“So diverse are the reasons, but death is something that is certain to come by...

Whoever does not die because of the swords...

Then he will die as well due to other reasons.”

The moment he was about to be killed by the kafir Quraish, Sahabah Khubaib bin ‘Adi recited:

وَلَسْتُ أُبَالِي حِيْنَ أُقْتَلُ مُسْلِمًا عَلَى أَيِّ جَنْبٍ كَانَ فِي اللهِ مَصْرَعِيْ
وَذَلِكَ فِيْ ذَاتِ اْلإِلَهِ وَإِنْ يَشَأْ يُبَارِكْ عَلَى أَوْصَالِ شِلْوٍ مُمَزَّعِ

“I do not care the moment I was killed as a Muslim

In whatever position, verily, I die because of Allah

For Allah, if He wills

He will bless every separated body part.”

Ikhwan Fillah Rahimakumullah………

Indeed, the reality of victory is being firm upon principles, even though the body has to be imprisoned, and even though the body has to be penetrated with hot lead bullets. Let the body be shattered bloodily and covered with earth, as long as the heart is still firm upon principles. And those principles are summarized in the words of wisdom “LIVE HONORABLY or DIE SHAHEED”.

These were the Jihad practices of our predecessors, the examples in practices and sacrifices, given to our current generation. They had given till the last drop of their blood for the establishment of the kalimah of Allah, to attain two goodness i.e. victory or shaheed in His path.

May we all be able to follow in the footsteps of our predecessors and may Allah gather us together with them in His Jannah. We also beg Allah to help the Mujahideen in all places, accept the Shuhada's who had fallen in His path, elevating their status in paradise, free the captives and oppressed, look after the wounded, heal those who are sick, bestow their families with all tranquilities, and give them the rewards that they deserve. He is the One, the All-Hearing and the Infinite Giver. Our last do'a is that all praises be for Allah, the Creator. Amin Yaa mujiibas saa’iliin.

اَللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ، وَ الْمُسْلِمِيْنَ وَ الْمُسْلِمَاتِ وَأَلِّفْ بَيْنَ قُلُوْبِهِمْ وَ أَصْلِحْ ذَاتَ بَيْنِهِمْ وَ انْصُرْهُمْ عَلَى عَدُوِّكَ وَعَدُوِّهِمْ وَاهْدِهِمْ سُبُلَ السَّلاَمِ، وَأَخْرِجْهُمْ مِنَ الظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَى النُّوْرِ، وَ جَنِّبْهُمُ الْفَوَاحِشَ مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا وَمَا بَطَنَ، وَ بَارِكْ لَهُمْ فِي أَسْمَاعِهِمْ وَأَبْصَارِهِمْ مَا أَبْقَيْتَهُمْ، وَ اجْعَلْهُمْ شَاكِرِيْنَ لِنِعَمِكَ مُثْنِيْنَ بِهَا عَلَيْكَ، قَابِلِيْهَا، وَأَتْمِمْهَا عَلَيْهِمْ يَا رَبَّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ، اَللَّهُمَّ انْصُرْ كِتَابَكَ وَ دِيْنَكَ وَ عِبَادَكَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ، وَأَظْهِرِ الْهُدَي وَ دِيْنَ الْحَقِّ الَّذِي بَعَثْتَ بِهِ نَبِيَّنَا مُحَمَّدًا صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ سَلَّمَ عَلَى الدِّيْنِ كُلِّهِ، اَللَّهُمَّ عَذِّبِ الْكُفَّارَ وَ الْمُنَافِقِيْنَ، الَّذِيْنَ يَصُدُّوْنَ عَنْ سَبِيْلِكَ وَ يُبَدِّلُوْنَ دِيْنَكَ وَ يُعَادُوْنَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ، اَللَّهُمَّ خَالِفْ كَلِمَتَهُمْ، وَشَتِّتْ بَيْنَ قُلُوْبِهِمْ، وَاجْعَلْ تَدْمِيْرَهُمْ فِيْ تَدْبِيْرِهِمْ، وَأَدِرْ عَلَيْهِمْ دَائِرَةَ السَّوْءِ، اَللَّهُمَّ أَنْزِلْ بِهِمْ بَأْسَكَ الَّذِيْ لاَيُرَدُّ عَنِ الْقَوْمِ الْمُجْرِمِيْنَ، اَللَّهُمَّ مُجْرِيَ السَّحَابِ، وَ مُنْزِلَ الْكِتَابِ، وَهَازِمَ اَلأَحْزَابِ، اِهْزِمْهُمْ وَ زَلْزِلْهُمْ ، وَ انْصُرْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ، رَبَّنَا أَعِنَّا وَلاَ تُعِنْ عَلَيْنَا، وَ انْصُرْنَا وَلاَ تَنْصُرْ عَلَيْنَا، وَامْكُرْ لَنَا وَ لاَ تَمْكُرْ عَلَيْنَا، وَ اهْدِنَا وَ يَسِّرِ الْهُدَي لَنَا، وَانْصُرْنَا عَلَى مَنْ بَغَى عَلَيْنَا، رَبَّنَا اجْعَلْنَا لَكَ شَاكِرِيْنَ مُطَاوِعِيْنَ مُخْبِتِيْنَ أَوَّاهِيْنَ مُنِيْبِيْنَ، رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلْ تَوْبَتَنَا، وَاغْسِلْ حَوْبَتَنَا، وَثَبِّتْ حُجَّتَنَا، وَاهْدِ قُلُوْبَنَا، وَسَدِّدْ أَلْسِنَتَنَا، وَاسْلُلْ سَخَائِمَ صُدُوْرِنَا

“O Allah, forgive the mu'mineen and mu'minat, the muslimeen and muslimat, unite their hearts, make them triumphant over Your enemies and their enemies, give to them guidance toward the routes of safety, and remove them from darkness towards light, and keep them away from evil conducts, be it internally or externally, and bless their hearings and sights while You are giving them lives, and make them as those who are grateful for Your blessings, praising You because of those blessings, and receiving those blessings, and complete those blessings to them O Lord of all the worlds. O Allah give victory to Your Book, Your Dien and Your believing slaves, and make the guidance and dienul haqq (the true religion) that You sends through our Prophet Muhammad SAW triumphant over all other dein. O Allah punish the kafir and the munafiq who obstruct in Your path and change Your dien, and are hostile towards the believers. O Allah divide their alliance, cause their hearts to be in dispute, and cause destruction on their efforts, and send down disasters on them. O Allah send down Your punishment where none of the evil people could resist. O Allah, Who moves the clouds, Who sends down the Book, Who destroys the confederate forces, destroy them and tremble them, and make us victorious over them. O our Lord, help us and don't You help the people who are fighting us, give victory to us and don't let those who are against us victorious over us, and give guidance to us, and ease it us for us to obtain guidance, and make us triumphant over the people who are oppressive towards us. O our Lord, make us as the people who are grateful, obedient, submissive, who make do'a and repent to You excessively. O our Lord, accept our repentance, purge our sins, strengthen our hujjah, give guidance to our hearts, straighten our tongues and get rid of the bitterness that are in our breasts.”

حَسْبُنَا اللهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيْلِ نِعْمَ الْمَوْلَى وَنِعْمَ النَّصِيْرِ
لاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِا اللهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيْمِ

The sight of a woman wearing an entirely black abaya dress complete with its veil became the center of attention in the Itäkeskus mall in Helsinki, the biggest city in Finland. No one knew that the person behind the niqab was not a true Muslim woman, but a journalist, a non-Muslim from the Helsingin Sanomat newspaper, one of the leading newspaper in the Scandinavian region.

The name of the journalist is Katja Kuokkanen. She purposely disguised herself as a Muslim woman because she wanted to feel herself how it is like to wear the Islamic clothings complete with its veil in the midst of the society in Finland which is still foreign to Islam, how does it feel to be stared at with a strange and terrified gaze from the people around her.

Kuokkanen wrote about her experience and feelings during and after she put on the niqab.

This is what she wrote…

This story becomes an irony at a time when the European countries are racing towards banning the jilbab and niqab. Those who are imposing the restriction should be reading this story of the journalist from Helsinki, so that there should no policy of prohibiting the jilbab or niqab, which originally was imposed due to the Islamophobia attitude of the western society.

The black niqab made from chiffon material sometimes dropped and covered both of my eyes. At one time, I tripped and hit the shoulder of a guy in an ethnic goods store. The man gesticulated apologetically - in the usual slightly absent manner.

Then, he looked at me and realized that I am a woman dressed in a black abaya-niqab, the dress specific to Muslim women. Suddenly, the man nearly bowed and renewed the apology. I think he is an Arab, through the dialect when asking for the apology. I had never been regarded with such great respect before.

From the ethnic store, I headed for the Metro station. When I got onto an orange metro car, I received an unexpected reaction. A drunken man shouted to his three equally wasted friends in the crowded carriage:

“Hey, that is one hell of a sight!” the drunken man yelled.

Hearing that scream, the other passengers skillfully avoided looking at my veiled face. But suddenly a middle-aged woman said to me, “hey, you dropped your thing,” while giving me my hairpin that had dropped on the seat behind me. I could not say thank you to the woman as I could not decide whether I could speak Finnish and blow my cover.

Next, a young Somali girl who worked as a shopkeeper, helped me fix my veil. She said that it was unusual for a Muslim woman in Helsinki to wear the dress like I was wearing. The Somalian girl also said that she, as much as possible, tried to abstain from wearing an all black clothing. She considered the color black as dramatic, attracting a lot of attention. Cheerful multi-coloured scarves are better, she said, adding that in Finland Muslim women are allowed to decide themselves how much of their face they want to cover.

And at the Itäkeskus mall, I noticed many people staring at me with a strange or even frightened look. A young man with a can of cider in his hand loomed up from behind a column and almost spilled his drink in panic.

I began to get myself used to wearing the abaya and veil. I myself begin to get used to the garment. It was light and yet warm, though it was difficult to see properly from behind the veil sometimes.

Then, I decided to drop in to a flea market located in the car park on the roof of the adjacent Puhos mall. On the Turunlinnantie pedestrian crossing, I suddenly met an elderly Somali woman who says in a quiet voice: “As-Salamu Alaykum”, an Arabic greeting used by Muslims which means “Peace be upon you”. I was touched by her greeting. I do not usually have any contact with Muslim women. The same is repeated many times: Muslim women of different ages and from different ethnic origin wearing various styles of niqab greeted me using words that I do not understand at that time, but I eventually found out that the utterance consists a prayer for prosperity and safety.

Later on, another man was hanging out at the door of an ethnic store and shouting: “Hello! Hey! Wait!” I did not wait. I felt that a fully-covered Muslim woman would not respond to such a call as she always look after her honor very much.

Some hours later, I decided to take the Metro back into town, to the downtown Kamppi Center.

Usually I have to run away from eager cosmetologists or hair stylists who are badgering me with their sales pitch at the mall. Not this time. If you are wearing an abaya-niqab, you are left in peace.

Along the course, the journalist was reflecting on her experience throughout the day, on the reactions of the people towards the abaya and veil that she donned and she herself felt that wearing the abaya and veil was not as bad as many people think. She then without hesitation affirmed that wearing the abaya and veil, “is absolutely not bad at all. If you wear it you would feel peace.”
