To the ikhwans who are being tested with the feelings of worry and fear…

All praises are for Allah only, Who says:
“Be ye not afraid of them, but fear Me, if ye have Faith.” [Ali ‘Imran: 175].
May salawat and salam be showered upon His Rasul, the sahabahs and the people who follow him until the judgment day.

It has become a sunnatullah that the journey of the tawheed da'wah and its adherents are experiencing moments of fear and worry from the evilness of the enemies who are in power. Where the thaghut authorities are using their power to silence the Muwahhideen people with paralyses in the forms of arrests and injuries, by murders, as well as expulsion and deportation just as Allah says in His verse:
“Remember how the Unbelievers plotted against thee, to keep thee in bonds, or slay thee, or get thee out (of thy home).” [Al Anfal: 30]
Also His verse about the threat by fir’aun to Prophet Musa:
“(Pharaoh) said: "If thou dost put forward any god other than me, I will certainly put thee in prison!.” [As Shu’ara: 29]
and His verse:
“Said Pharaoh: "Leave me to slay Moses; …” [Al Ghafir: 26].
Therefore, in a condition like this, the Muslims who are oppressed are enveloped by the feelings of fear and worry, like what had been experienced by the Mu'mineen of Bani Israel in the time of fir’aun:
“But none believed in Moses except some children of his people, because of the fear of Pharaoh and his chiefs, lest they should persecute them.” [Yunus: 83]
and as experienced by Rasulullah Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam and the sahabahs in the early period of Islam, as Allah says:
“Call to mind when ye (the Muhajireen) were a small (band), despised through the land, and afraid that men might despoil and kidnap you…” [Al Anfal: 26].
And it is the reality of today where tawheed and its adherents are becoming strange again, just like in its early emergence. Just as Rasulullah said in a saheeh hadith:
"Islam came as strange, and will become strange once again, so glad tidings to the Strangers."
The Muwahhideen people are all in a grappling and dreadful condition from the cruelty of the apparatuses of today's fir’aun who know no mercy towards the children, the weak women and the elderlies, much less the male youths. Where, when the present time fir’auns and their apparatuses are apprehending the Muwahhideen, they are truly behaving as enemies who are ready to vent out their hatred, just as Allah tells us:
“If they were to get the better of you, they would behave to you as enemies, and stretch forth their hands and their tongues against you for evil: and they desire that ye should reject the Truth. ” [Al Mumtahanah: 2]
and His verse:
“whereas seeing that if they get an advantage over you, they respect not in you the ties either of kinship or of covenant.” [At Taubah: 8].
And that is the reality, where they are not heeding the humanitarian norms, the kinship and covenant, because the war for them is a way of venting out their vengeance and carnal desires. But that is the journey of the tawheed da'wah, it is sure to experience the trials of oppression and persecution from the enemies who are in power, and that is the decision of Allah that cannot be changed and which had happened to the Rasuls and will be experienced by every one who carries what was brought by the Rasuls, just as Allah Ta’ala says:
“And verily, rejected were the apostles before thee: with patience and constancy they bore their rejection and their wrongs, until Our aid did reach them: there is none that can alter the words (and decrees) of Allah.” [Al An’am: 34].
Waraqah ibnu Naufal said to Rasul Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam:
“Not even one person who comes bringing what you are bringing, except that he would surely be ill-treated and fought against.” (HR. Al Bukhari).
But this phase of persecution is a phase that must be gone through in heading towards the tamkin (state of being well-established) on this earth, where it is not impossible that it would not be enjoyed by the people who are formidable in confronting these persecutions, but would be enjoyed by the people who come after them, who continue the journey of this struggle until they are able to see the destruction of the power of the fir’auns of this era, just as Allah Ta’ala says:
“And We made a people, considered weak (and of no account), inheritors of lands in both east and west, - lands whereon We sent down Our blessings. The fair promise of thy Lord was fulfilled for the Children of Israel, because they had patience and constancy, and We levelled to the ground the great works and fine buildings which Pharaoh and his people erected (with such pride).” [Al A’raf: 137]
and His verse:
“And We wished to be Gracious to those who were being depressed in the land, to make them leaders (in Faith) and make them heirs, To establish a firm place for them in the land, and to show Pharaoh, Haman, and their hosts, at their hands, the very things against which they were taking precautions.” [Al Qasas: 5-6]
Whereas, what were feared by the fir’aun of the past, as well as the present fir’auns and their chronies, are the replacement of the ideologies that hold their sovereignty and the destruction of their worldly interests, just as what the fir’aun of the past uttered:
“Said Pharaoh: "Leave me to slay Moses; and let him call on his Lord! What I fear is lest he should change your religion, or lest he should cause mischief to appear in the land!” [Al Mu’min: 26]
On that account, be patient O my Brothers, rely on Allah and ask for guidance from Him. Know that nothing can bring benefit and harm except Allah. Be patient, because after the journey in this dry and barren field full of wild beasts, there lies a refreshing and beautiful meadow.

Criticism For The Case Of Putri Munawarah
.
Watching the course of the court session of Putri Munawarah, it was as if we were being presented with a comedy scene which had already been scripted much earlier, so it appeared unnatural and full of scenes which were being forced. It was obvious that the session that took place was only to pay off the debt of a pledge to America, to be united in the war against terrorism, where in the end it was the Islamic ummah who are being harmed the most in the war.
Only because of being a companion and having the guests of her husband in the house, who were suspected as terrorists, a woman who is helpless also got dragged and linked to a terrorist network, whereas in Islam we are taught that guests must be honored regardless of status. Such easy for the stigma of terrorist being labeled on a person, where someone who happened to have visitors, who are terror suspects, in her house, is automatically accused as a terrorist.
The bad treatment on a helpless woman named Putri Munawarah was not only limited to that, but it also bore down on her baby who is only a few months old, where Putri Munawarah as the mother is not free in the care of her child, this is clearly against the Human Rights which they themselves rant about.
Compare it to the treason cases committed by the groups which are out of Islam, still fresh in our memories is the defection of the frontman of RMS Alex Manuputty, who was let to escape overseas and which we have never heard of again until now, not to mention the cases which are damaging to the State, where the accused are still swinging about, breathing the free air.
Looking at all this, we can infer that these are genuine proofs that the kafirs do not want Islam, as an ideology, to rise up in the land of Indonesia. They invented fabrications by using the label and designation of terrorists to repress the Islamic ummah in a fine way and carry out a black campaign against its activists.
Thus, the government must review the policy which always harm the Islamic ummah, especially on a Muslimah who in this case is of course innocent and only becomes the black sheep in the hunts for the 'terrorists'. Evidences that prove that Putri Munawarah is not guilty are too strong and clear, but when the government are still looking for excuses to detain her, then this will become a bad precedent between the government and the Islamic ummah.
And when Putri Munawwarah is still arrested with accusations that cannot be proven, this further proves to the public that the war against the terrorists is a war against the Islamic ummah who want to be istiqomah in applying the Shari’ah of Islam in their lives within a community and a State.

Great News: The Unification Of Jaish Abu Bakar As Salafi With Daulah Islam Of Iraq

Iraq – Behind the sad news from Iraq with the martyrdom of the two leaders of the Mujahideen, there was a news that joyed the hearts of the Muslims. The Daulah Islam of Iraq is getting stronger with the increase in supports from the other Mujahideen groups in Iraq.
After the death of the Amir of the Daulah Islam of Iraq, Abu Umar Al Baghdadi, more representatives from various groups of the Mujahideen are united in holding a dialogue about the continuation of the Jihad in Iraq. The dialogue was a sequel to the dialogue which had been held long time before the shaheed (kama nahsabuh) of Sheikh Abu Umar Al Baghdadi.
The result that came out of the dialogue was that all these groups would merge into the Daulah Islam of Iraq and the Jaish Abu Bakar As Siddiq As Salafi group, which was the first to have stated themselves ready in uniting with the Daulah Islam of Iraq.
Jaish Abu Bakar As Siddiq As Salafi is one of the Jihad groups in Iraq, led by Sheikh Abu Muhammad Al 'Iraqi, replacing Sheikh Abu Bakar Al Anshari who had already been shaheed (kama nahsabuh) earlier.
They had released an official statement from their leader last February, which declared that they were ready to unite with the Daulah Islam of Iraq and obey their rules and decisions.
They also called upon other Jihad groups to follow their steps in unifying the ranks of the Muslims in confronting the enemies of Islam.
The enemies of Islam at this time are surely feeling comfortable with the death of two leaders of the Mujahideen, but their happiness is surely not going to be for long. The death of the leaderships of the Mujahideen would not weaken the people they left behind, in fact it would make them stronger and more confident in the promise of Allah that only the chosen people will be selected by Allah as Shuhada's.
"If a wound hath touched you, be sure a similar wound hath touched the others. Such days (of varying fortunes) We give to men and men by turns: that Allah may know those that believe, and that He may take to Himself from your ranks Martyr-witnesses (to Truth). And Allah loveth not those that do wrong.Allah's object also is to purge those that are true in Faith and to deprive of blessing Those that resist Faith." (QS. Ali Imran 140-141)

A Letter From Muhammad Jibril Abdurrahman From Behind Bars

For the Islamic fighters, for you the succeeding carriers of the Risaalah of Rasulullah.
Herewith, we convey to you the news from our brother Muhammad Jibril Abdurrahman or Prince of Jihad who at present is tyrannized by the kafir apparatuses in this country i.e. Indonesia. He was arrested, beaten, and had been detained since August 2009. Muhammad Jibril is the founder, and at the same time the chairman and owner of the arrahmah.com website. He is the eldest son of Ustadz Abu Jibril. Muhammad Jibril was arrested by the Densus 88 because he was suspected as having a role in financing the bombings of JW Marriott and Ritz-Carlton hotels.
It is a sunnatullah that every truth certainly has enemies who attempt to obstruct it. That is why the truth of Islam is always being resisted by the shaytan and his followers.

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim
All praises are only for Allah S.W.T. Salawat and salam for our esteemed leader Muhammad S.A.W. and his Sahabahs. Amma Ba’du.
Alhamdulillah, I am well here. I am writing this letter simply because I want you all to remain istiqomah and patient, as well as never stop in conveying the haq. To be a noble human being is not an easy thing, I might not be as 'alim and taqwa as other friends, buy my Jihad has to go through this and make me like this. Istiqomah, istiqomah and istiqomah… All these are from the hearts, clean hearts that will produce clean results, that will be harvested by millions of human beings, that is JIHAD.
In da'wah and jihad, what is happening to me is just as a motivator for the struggles of our jihad ahead. So that you all will be spurred in da'wah and jihad. Jihad cannot stop even if we are tortured, imprisoned and etc.
My friends whom I love for the sake of Allah. When I was arrested on that day, they took the opportunity to torture and abuse me, in fact I was insulted and reviled and even more chronic, I was slandered as homosexual. They wanted to bring down my honor, but by the wills of Allah, Allah still protected me in order to be istiqomah. Friends, of course it feels hard to face this trial but it is there where the sweetness of a struggle is located. It is there where the sweetness of the jihad which we have been shouting all these while in our media, can be found. It then becomes the consequences, that we are tried by Allah. If we are patient, then pleasures and honour will be given to us by Allah.
Make me as the supplier of the spirits for our struggles. As long as I don't move away from the true path behind this iron bars, Allah will give me the chances to do more muhasabah and taqarrub ilallah. There is one hadith that makes me remain able and continue to be enthusiastic even more, insha Allah.
This is the hadith: “And God’s Messenger said: ‘The size of your reward will be in proportion to your bravery, and if God loves a people He puts them to the test, and whoever pleases Him will be rewarded in kind and whoever angers Him will be rewarded in kind’” (HR. Tirmizi dan Ibn Majah)
Subhanallah, how beautiful is this saying of the Prophet, to wish for the great rewards and win paradise, not to mention the shaheed in the jihad arena, it has to be through various trials until our sins are erased and we must be pleased with the tests that Allah gives us, so that the spirit of the believers will be incited. Therefore, keep on inflaming the spirits of the believers. Proclaim and convey the truth though bitter, but it has to be with 'ilm not emotion like in our forum. Convey clearly according to the verses of Allah and saying of the Prophet S.A.W. :
Rasulullah said: “Verily, a person truly has a position with Allah, but there is no deed that could bring him there, thus Allah always tests him with things that he does not like, until he could reach that position as wanted by Allah.” (HR.Abu Ya’la and Ibn Hibban)
Subhanallah, how wonderful is this hadith of the Prophet SAW. Allah is giving us the lofty position but we have not attained it, until Allah gives us the tests, so that we can occupy that lofty position, how beautiful, O Mujahid and Mujahidah. So why must we be sad?? All the trials that Allah gives us will surely be paid with beautiful and comforting reward, the eternal paradise, as long as we are patient.
When my hands and legs were cuffed like the terrorist that they speak of, and my eyes were tightly covered with a duct tape... damned Densus, spoiled my handsome face... Hehehe. Then, I was beaten on the face and chest, kicked and then beaten with a rattan cane. I cried at that time, my tears began to flow, NOT because of the pain or anything else, but it was at that time that I felt the bliss of this test, it felts so blissful, I could only thanked Allah. Maybe all these while I was only watching it through the video clips of our brothers in Guantanamo being treated like that, but now I am feeling it. I am confident that the Mujahideen are also feeling it like that when accompanied with patience and firmness.
Tests and trials result in 2 consequences, HONOURABLE and CURSED. Honourable when being patient, cursed when otherwise and even more beautiful if it can become an eraser for our sins, which might be that all these while we are being negligent and unaware that our deeds were ever off track .
May the benefits of advice be for you all, keep up the spirit, read Al Qur’an a lot and don't forget the zikr in the morning and evening. For all the Cyber Mujahids and the ikhwans at Arrahmah.Com Forum, Ikhwani wa akhwati fillah whom I love, may Allah always give istiqomah to you in conveying the truth. The greatness of the rewards are seen from the heaviness of the tests, this is in accordance with the hadith of Rasul above. I love you all for the sake of Allah. I have never met you , much less more than that. The Arrahmah.Com Forum unifies us, loving each other for the sake of Allah, advising each other in patience (sabr) and truth (haq).
Remember, the strength of the Muslims now is upon the aqeedah and ukhuwah. It has no meaning when unity is based on the feeling of nationalism and Asabiyah. It must be based on the true aqeedah. This life is only temporary, the prison is the not the last place in this life, it is a small part from the journey of life. And this place that I am feeling now doesn't mean that I am better, but at least trying to become a better person through all these tests. May you all be istiqomah and be united in conveying the haq through the Islamic medias, provide the spirits and kindle the flame of jihad in the cyber and real world. Pray that I will always be patient and istiqomah behind these iron bars. May we meet again, Insha Allah.

This is the hadith: “And God’s Messenger said: ‘The size of your reward will be in proportion to your bravery, and if God loves a people He puts them to the test, and whoever pleases Him will be rewarded in kind and whoever angers Him will be rewarded in kind’” (HR. Tirmizi dan Ibn Majah)
Subhanallah, how beautiful is this saying of the Prophet, to wish for the great rewards and win paradise, not to mention the shaheed in the jihad arena, it has to be through various trials until our sins are erased and we must be pleased with the tests that Allah gives us, so that the spirit of the believers will be incited. Therefore, keep on inflaming the spirits of the believers. Proclaim and convey the truth though bitter, but it has to be with 'ilm not emotion like in our forum. Convey clearly according to the verses of Allah and saying of the Prophet S.A.W. :
Rasulullah said: “Verily, a person truly has a position with Allah, but there is no deed that could bring him there, thus Allah always tests him with things that he does not like, until he could reach that position as wanted by Allah.” (HR.Abu Ya’la and Ibn Hibban)
Subhanallah, how wonderful is this hadith of the Prophet SAW. Allah is giving us the lofty position but we have not attained it, until Allah gives us the tests, so that we can occupy that lofty position, how beautiful, O Mujahid and Mujahidah. So why must we be sad?? All the trials that Allah gives us will surely be paid with beautiful and comforting reward, the eternal paradise, as long as we are patient.
When my hands and legs were cuffed like the terrorist that they speak of, and my eyes were tightly covered with a duct tape... damned Densus, spoiled my handsome face... Hehehe. Then, I was beaten on the face and chest, kicked and then beaten with a rattan cane. I cried at that time, my tears began to flow, NOT because of the pain or anything else, but it was at that time that I felt the bliss of this test, it felts so blissful, I could only thanked Allah. Maybe all these while I was only watching it through the video clips of our brothers in Guantanamo being treated like that, but now I am feeling it. I am confident that the Mujahideen are also feeling it like that when accompanied with patience and firmness.
Tests and trials result in 2 consequences, HONOURABLE and CURSED. Honourable when being patient, cursed when otherwise and even more beautiful if it can become an eraser for our sins, which might be that all these while we are being negligent and unaware that our deeds were ever off track .

Daulah Islam Of Iraq Confirmed Martyrdom Of Two Of Their Leaders (May Allah Have Mercy On Them)

BAGHDAD - Al Qaeda of Iraq has issued a confirmation, awaited this lately, regarding the rumors about the martyrdom of two of their leaders. At last, their statement was posted on the internet which stated that two of their leaders had been martyred in the joint attacks of the American and Iraqi forces last week.
The news about the martyrdom of the leaders of Al Qaeda in Iraq, Abu Ayyub al Masri and Abu Umar al Baghdadi, the amirul of the Daulah Islam of Iraq was posted on the internet forum that usually presents their statements today, Sunday. The statement was signed by Abu al Walid Abdul Wabbab al Mashadani, or known as the Minister of Shari'ah of the Daulah Islam of Iraq or also known as Abu Hamza al Muhajir. Abu Umar al Baghdadi was killed, insha Allah shaheed, on 18th April in Thar-Thar, 80 km (50 miles) Northwest of Baghdad.
The statemet said, "The Minister of Shari'ah of the Daulah Islam of Iraq, Abu Walid Abdul Wahhab al Mashdani informs that both of the leaders of Al Qaeda were killed when attending a meeting after the enemy forces attacked the meeting place from the land and air."
He stated that "The Crusader and Shiah forces are exploiting the incident in order to step-up the image of the Iraqi security services and give the alliance of the enemies an 'illusion' of victory after the strikes that had killed a big number of victims launched by the Daulah Islam of Iraq in Baghdad."
With the issue of this official statement from the Daulah Islam of Iraq, the earlier news with regards to the martyrdom of the two leaders of the Iraqi struggles, which was still doubted a few days ago, is now confirmed. Both of them are truly shaheed and soon there will surely be a new statement released regarding the successors of them both.
The death of these two great leaders of the Iraqi Mujahideen will not make the activities of jihad weakened, like what had been propagandized by the mainstream medias all these while. Old and recent history has proven that incidents like these would only make jihad even stronger. So, precisely this statement appeared to challenge the lies of the kafir propaganda and asserted that the strength of jihad will never ever dwindle, though their great leaders became the victims of the Crusader's attacks.

An Open Letter In The Name Of Love For Putri Munawwarah
. 
Not many people knows the story about Putri Munawwarah. Putri Munawwarah is not a celebrity, but a Muslimah who tries to live in accordance with the Shari'ah of Islam, and tries to submit and be obedient to her husband, accompanying him till the end of his life. As is known, Putri Munawwarah is the Muslimah whose husband was killed at the hand of the Densus 88 during a raid in Mojosongo, Solo, Central Java. In the relentless shootings, Putri Munawwarah insisted to stay with her beloved husband, Susilo alias Adib, and a number of other suspects i.e. Noordin M Top, Urwah and Aji. She was 5-months pregnant at that time. Her husband, Susilo alias Adib, protected and sheltered her in an extraordinary way till the end of his life. Though the satanic forces of the Densus 88 was hell-bent in finishing her off, Allah SWT protected her and her child. She was only shot in the buttock.
Putri Munawwarah gave birth on 20th December 2009 to a healthy baby boy she named Syuhada, or his full name, Muhammad Ahsanu Syuhada. They say the name was given by the boy's father, husband of Putri Munawwarah, Susilo alias Adib.
God knows what fate would befall this strong Mujahidah, along with her son. Putri Munawwarah does not know. What's certain is that the Terorrism Acts which often times ensnare and muzzle the Muslims, is surely waiting for its victims, including this determined lady. Is there any heart of the Muslims that feels struck by what Putri Munawwarah are experiencing?
Putri Munawwarah should be freed from all accusations which are baseless and without proofs, and as much as is proper the authorities should be held accountable for their acts which are clearly contrary to the Human Rights .
And to the Muslims wherever they are located, we ought to assist with any ability that we have, be it moral or material, minimally with do'a, because do'a is the weapon of the Muslims, after efforts.
Below is a rough English translation of an open letter dedicated to Putri (means Princess - ed) Munawwarah written by a caring Sister in Islam.
To My Sister, Putri Munawwarah...
who is in the chamber favoured by Prophet Yusuf AS, with the apple of her eye, Syuhada
قَالَ رَبِّ السِّجْنُ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِمَّا يَدْعُونَنِي إِلَيْهِ وَإِلا تَصْرِفْ عَنِّي كَيْدَهُنَّ أَصْبُ إِلَيْهِنَّ وَأَكُنْ مِنَ الْجَاهِلِينَ
Yusuf said: "He said: "O my Lord! the prison is more to my liking than that to which they invite me: Unless Thou turn away their snare from me, I should (in my youthful folly) feel inclined towards them and join the ranks of the ignorant." (QS Yusuf:33)
Indeed, Allah makes the hell of Jahannam as the prison for the kafirs.
Subhanakallahumma wa bihamdika wa tabaarakasmuka wa ta’aalaa jadduka wa laa’ilaaha ghairuka.
(Glory be to You, O Allah. Most Praised are You and Most Magnificent are Your names, as well as Most High are Your honor, there is no Illah except You)
Rabbi ishrah lee sadree Wayassir lee amree Waohlul AAuqdatan min lisanee Yafqahoo qawlee. (O my Lord expand me my breast, easy my task for me, and remove the impediment from my speech, so they may understand what I say)
This letter of mine begins by saying praises to Allah, the One who gives comforts and trials to His every slave. Because, all His takdeer for a believer is good, though sometimes it feels very heavy to be traversed.
Next, we beg forgiveness from Allah for the weakness of ourselves who are unable to help the oppressed sisters.
How is your condition, O Habibaty?
And how is the condition of Syuhada? Is he always in good condition in this tarbiyah jihadiyyah?
Ukhtiy Putri, whom we love
We are your brothers and sisters, who also feel the pain and suffering of the trials that you are feeling, Ukhtiy.
We understand that these of our words are not enough to illustrate how much we want to become parts of your bodies, in the times when you are feeling the pain.
We are only the Muslims and Muslimahs who have not felt the trial in the way you are feeling it, Ukhtiy.
Our words and do'a are surely not the same as the words, as well as the do'a from our brothers and sisters who are put on trials.
Not a few of our words are unable to leave an effect on the hearts of the readers and listeners.
Maybe because our hearts are not as close in proximity as the hearts of those who are being tried by their Robb.
Been wanting to write this letter earlier, Ukhtiy.

عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ, عَنْ عَبْدِ اللّهِ (بْنِ مَسْعُوْدٍ) قَالَ: جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَىَ رَسُولِ اللّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللّهِ, كَيْفَ تَرَىَ فِي رَجُلٍ أَحَبّ قَوْماً وَلَمّا يَلْحَقْ بِهِمْ؟ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم َ: «الْمَرْءُ مَعَ مَنْ أَحَبّ». رواه مسلم

Just as Ummu 'Umarah , Ummu Sulaim, Ukhtiy Munfiatun, Marwa al Sherbini, Dzhanet Abdullayeva or Dr. Afia Siddiquiy who remain steadfast and istiqomah at the time when trials from Allah come by.
Understandably, it is the sunatullah for the character of the struggles in defending this Dien, that the strugglers of Dienul Islam and those who believe in Allah will always be facing various kinds of trials, pursuits, expulsion, arrests and killings by the enemies of Allah.

We understand if you are still remembering your husband,
For us, he is an extraordinary figure in protecting his family,
Why not, if till the end of his life, Akhi Adib struggled with all his strength to defend and protect Ukhtiy and Syuhada?
Whereas from Sa’id bin Zaid radhiyallah ‘anhu he said: Rasulullah Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said: “Whoever dies because of defending (protecting) his property he is shaheed. Whoever dies because of defending his family he is shaheed, whoever dies because of defending his religion then he's shaheed and whoever dies because of defending his blood he is shaheed.” (HR. Abu Dawud and Tirmidzi).
You must be proud and happy for it,
And maybe at times, your tears do fall every time you remember and miss him.

Don't be sad.. this parting is only for a fleeting moment, inshaAllah soon Allah will gather you in the eternal Jannah.
Rasulullah SAW had said, “A person (on Judgement Day) will be together with the people whom he loves, and you will be together with whom you love.” (HR Bukhari)
Also, don't be sad when there are those who scoff or laugh at you when you are crying or sad.
Allah says in surah al-Muthaffiffin, "Indeed, those who committed crimes used to laugh at those who believed.... So Today (on the Judgement Day) those who believed are laughing at the disbelievers."
رَبَّنَا أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْراً وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ
O our Lord, render patience upon our selves, and strengthen our conviction and help us against the kafirs.
Ukhtiy Putri,
May Allah render patience too upon your self, strengthen your conviction, and fortify your resoluteness upon this Dienul Islam.
May Allah bestow complete blessings and forgiveness and His mercy to you, Ukhtiy.
As well as making you amongst the people who receive guidance because of your patience and obstinacy just as Allah bestows to those who say, "Inna lillaahi wa innaa ilaihi raaji'uun" when struck by adversities(QS Al Baqarah : 155-157). Aamiin

Whereas from Sa’id bin Zaid radhiyallah ‘anhu he said: Rasulullah Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said: “Whoever dies because of defending (protecting) his property he is shaheed. Whoever dies because of defending his family he is shaheed, whoever dies because of defending his religion then he's shaheed and whoever dies because of defending his blood he is shaheed.” (HR. Abu Dawud and Tirmidzi).

Rasulullah SAW had said, “A person (on Judgement Day) will be together with the people whom he loves, and you will be together with whom you love.” (HR Bukhari)
Also, don't be sad when there are those who scoff or laugh at you when you are crying or sad.
Allah says in surah al-Muthaffiffin, "Indeed, those who committed crimes used to laugh at those who believed.... So Today (on the Judgement Day) those who believed are laughing at the disbelievers."
رَبَّنَا أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْراً وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ

MESSAGE FROM USTADZ AMAN ABDURRAHMAN FROM BEHIND THE IRON BARS

To all the ikhwans
Assalamu 'alaykum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu
All praises only belong to Allah, Who tests His slaves with ease and hardship. May Salawat and salam be showered upon His Prophet, followed by his household and Sahabahs.
Ikhwani fillah, know that the value of tawheed is high and the consequences is huge, to the extent that it must be paid with a lot of sacrifices, whether it be in the form of being killed, cruelty of torture by the enemies, as well as imprisonment or seizure of wealth and properties.
The commitment to tawheed in this era of the ghurbah will always be enveloped by the feeling of fear and worry towards the cruelty of the enemies, like Prophet Musa and his followers in Egypt and just as experienced by Rasulullah and the Sahabahs in the early period of Islam. But don't let those feelings of fear and worry cause you to abandon this tawheed, as that is the character of the people whom Allah condemn in His verse: "There are among men some who serve Allah, as it were, on the verge: if good befalls them, they are, therewith, well content; but if a trial comes to them, they turn on their faces: they lose both this world and the Hereafter: that is loss for all to see!" [Al Hajj : 11]
Namely, the people who want to commit to tawheed when the condition is easy and happy, and when the condition is grappling and dreadful, they abandon it.
But you must become the people whose belief in the truth of this tawheed increases in this time of ferocity with regards to the enmity of the thaghut and their ansar towards the adherents of this tawheed, who are not willing to be enslaved by them. But, were you to turn away from this tawheed, then Allah will replace you with others who love Allah Ta'ala more, just as He says: "If ye turn back (from the Path), He will substitute in your stead another people; then they would not be like you!" [Muhammad: 38]. And His verse: "O ye who believe! if any from among you turn back from his Faith, soon will Allah produce a people whom He will love as they will love Him." [Al Maidah: 54]
Ikhwani fillah..... refrain for a moment from the pursuit of pleasures that can never end... Pay attention to your brothers who are currently in prison... be polite to the families of the Shuhada's and those who are detained in the path of Allah, they are the Fuqarâ' (poor) who are ashamed to ask, they are only the Hawa and the children who are incapable of doing anything except in shedding the tears of sadness and sorrow, they are the weak people whose do'a are answered by Allah. Rasulullah said, "That you are given victory and rizq is only because of the weak people amongst you."
Ikhwani... What I believe in matters of tawheed along with their relations to today's reality have been poured out in my writings and translations, be fervent in learning, be graceful in accepting the truth and always make do'a to Allah and ask for guidance. Don't let shubhah shadow the faith because when shubhah is allowed to exist in the thoughts, it will become a disaster when accompanied by the desires of wanting to live freely and lavishly, like those who do not practice tawheed.
Therefore, bear the shubhah with faith that are sourced from the 'ilm of Al Kitab and As Sunnah, and face the desires with patience.
I pray to Allah to give guidance, fortitude and patience, and husnul khatimah to us all....

Not Just Wills, But Also Togetherness

It looks like the drama of the MARKUS case (the biggest corruption in the history of taxation in Indonesia estimated at 100 billion -ed) which involves the top brasses in the POLRI (police of Republic of Indonesia -ed) is not going to be over soon. One by one, the police personnels in the rank of Generals got dragged into the torrent which was triggered by Gayus Tambunan (a tax official charged for corruption and money laundering -ed). Like domino cards, one personnel would mention another personnel. In fact not only the POLRI, but also the ranks of prosecutors had to consent that a number of their individuals are involved in this MARKUS corruption case.
As the public, we can only shake our heads. We have not yet overcome our shocks from the Century case with its icon, Anggodo Widjaja (top entrepreneur charged with conspiracy to commit graft; and attempts to hinder investigations into graft cases by attempting to bribe two leaders of the Corruption Eradication Commission/KPK -ed). Investigations after investigations, how easy corruptions and misappropriations are making a fool of the laws of Indonesia. Anybody could be bought, even in the class of the higher officials in the POLRI. Evidently, big salaries do not guarantee that they would not drool for the tantalizing gains from the corruption.
All of a sudden, the map changed. Susno Duaji (Police Commissioner General) who was earlier considered as the most accountable in the Century case for his 'Cicak Lawan Buaya' (or Lizard vs Crocodile i.e. the conflict between the POLRI and KPK. Both of these law enforcement agencies mutually exposed the involvement of their government officials in the cases of authority and position abuse -ed), is now praised and lauded because of his bravery in exposing the MARKUS case which surrounds the police department. This is the dunya, it is very easy for the society to change the status of someone because of their shrewdness in playing their roles all these time. In fact, even if we are gazing at the TV and reading the newspaper everyday, it could not make us understand which is true and which is wrong.
Not yet done with the police, now a more absurd case is appearing. A TV presenter and his TV is also allegedly involved in enlivening this extraordinary drama. It is believed that TV One has invented a fabrication by making a fake interview of MARKUS. Strangely, it was this TV that, all these while, was known to be very close to the sources of the police. In the end, it makes us question whether, all these while, the informants they had presented for the investigation of the terrorism cases are true or they are just fabrications. We do not know all those...
All these are making us aware again, that the dunya is something temporal. The brown police uniform does not guarantee the goodness of their hearts. Because, there will always be individuals who could at any time commit mischiefs. If those who commit the crimes are the low-ranking police, there might be many acknowledgments. But, when apparently the committers of those corruption are precisely those at the leadership level, then it is just appropriate that we are asking, how good is the quality of our police.
Who had been assessing their credibilities all these while? And who would be responsible for their performances? A total evaluation has to be done within the police ranks. Cleansing of the problematic police personnels should be done the soonest. Though they are said to be outstanding in eradicating what they called terrorism, their akhlaq and moralities are still questionable. Every party has the right to know, how good is the quality of the akhlaq of the police in this country? Don't let the responsibility of maintaining security be filled up by the corrupt leaders. Because, there is no good in the corrupt leaders.
These exposures of a case after another are also opening our eyes that there is truth in what had been said by Bang (Brother) Napi (host of a crime news program on a TV channel -ed) in his routine credo at the end of his message: CRIME DOES NOT HAPPEN BECAUSE OF WILLS ONLY, BUT ALSO BECAUSE OF OPPORTUNITIES. BEWARE! Looks like we need to add another word. That crime does not happen because of wills and opportunities only, but also because of togetherness. Together, the corruptions are moving across the agencies, offices and departments. This is clearly more wicked than the terror suspects who are always convicted before being tried. Shot to death without being given the chance to defend themselves in court. Because, the corruptions that they are committing are not because they are poor, also not because they are fighting tyranny and immorality. But they are committing corruptions because it is the nature of their personality to be thieves who have no shame towards their own people. Beware!... beware!... Bang Napi said. ^_^

DA'WAH AL HAQ

As Muslims and Da’ies, it is an obligation for us to be prepared for the consequences of our activities, both mentally and physically. People would not receive any problem by performing the individual duties such as solat, fasting, etc. But if we are calling upon the people to supress the carnal desires and live according to the rules of Allah – like what had been done by Rasulullah SAW – we would undoubtedly receive a hostile reaction.
Before Prophet Muhammad SAW came openly with the message of Islam, it was not that the kafir did not pay attention to him, in fact he was given the title Al-Amien. However, once he was given the duty to call upon the people to abandon their habits, leave their way of life, and only follow, as well as accept the law of Allah, he was fought, boycotted, criticized and charged.
Prophet Muhammad SAW called upon them to pronounce just one kalimah: “Laa ilaaha illallah, Muhammadur Rasulullah”, so, why did they react by hating and being hostile to Allah, His Rasul and the believers (Sahabahs)? The kafir had been believing in Allah, so why was it so hard for them to declare the Kalimah of Allah?
The answer is simple, that the kalimah laa ilaaha illah does not only mean “There is no God except Allah”. Laa ilaaha illallah means that they would surrender their habits, traditions, desires, hobbies, way of life, religion, ideologies and beliefs, and only accept Islam as their identity and Allah as the Maker of laws for them. Accordingly, this is very hard for them to accept and that was the reason why they – like the people before them – declared war against the Rasul of Allah and his Sahabahs.
Many of the Sahabahs were beaten, captured, tortured, murdered, and Rasulullah SAW was slandered, accused as brainwashing and labelled as a lunatic (majnun), liar and sorcerer.
To the Muslims, we must think and ask ourselves: if it happened to our master, would it happen to us as well?! How can we hope to live based on his SAW's teachings and not anticipating the same reactions, the hostilities and the consequences that he SAW and his Sahabahs had encountered? Had Rasulullah, in his life, ever lived by obeying their laws (man-made laws), or had he invited the society to obey the laws of Allah? Had Abu Lahab (and the chiefs of the Tawaghit during the time of Rasulullah) and his ministers praised him, allowed him to talk about Islam and have his own masjid, or had they ordered their police to arrest him SAW and stopped his activities?
We must always inform our mind that the Ahlul Haq will always be hated by the majorities and that Islam will always be seen as a strange thing. Moreover, we should never hope for the kuffar to love us and our dien, and to give us good publicities in the media. If the kuffar are praising us and feel satisfied with us, it means that we have compromised our beliefs, or they are lying. If the kuffar hated Rasulullah SAW (and in fact attempted to kill him) then, they would also hate the people who attempted to follow him. They would admire and praise the Munafiqun and the moderate people.
Whenever (then and now) the Ahlul Haq are talking, the whole world would listen to them; the kuffar, local communities, their friends and even the enemies, in fact those who disagree with them will visit their websites and are zealous in listening to what they say. This is because the Da’ies are like living cells, they are full of energy, new ideas and inspiring thoughts. They do not talk like others and their views are unique and strong, and this is why they receive a lot of attentions and become the media spotlights, more than the moderate people who easily spew out what kuffar are saying.
The Da’ies will always comment on what they see around them, and they will never remain silent on munkar (evil). They make the applications of the Qur’an and Sunnah into realities and they analyse new events based on the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of Muhammad SAW.
When Rasulullah SAW was inviting the Mushrikeen towards Islam, he pointed out their actual conditions. He would condemn their bad habits such as gambling, killing babies (abortion), zina (unlawful sex), homosexuality, deceptions in the market, racism and so on, then after that he introduced Islam as the one and only alternative and solution.
To the Islamic Ummah, if we wish to be together with Rasulullah SAW, his Sahabahs and the Prophets preceding him in paradise, we should endeavour to become like them and prepare to confront the sufferings like how they had suffered. The Haq will always be in collision with the batil and henceforth they could not coexist side by side. It is our duty to convince and be convinced that Al-Haq is above Al-Batil.

Barbaric! Americans In Foreign Country Dare To Torture Its People

Afghan prisoners are being tortured in a "secret jail" at Bagram airbase, according to nine witnesses whose stories the BBC has documented.
The abuses are all said to have taken place since US President Barack Obama was elected, promising to end torture.
The US military has denied the existence of a secret detention site and promised to look into allegations.
Afghan prisoners are being tortured in a "secret jail" at Bagram airbase, according to nine witnesses whose stories the BBC has documented.
The abuses are all said to have taken place since US President Barack Obama was elected, promising to end torture.
The US military has denied the existence of a secret detention site and promised to look into allegations.
Bagram was the site of a controversial jail holding hundreds of inmates, who have now been moved to another complex.
The old prison was notorious for allegations of prisoner torture and abuse.
But witnesses told the BBC in interviews or written testimony that abuses continue in a hidden facility.
Sleep Deprivation
"They call it the Black Hole," said Sher Agha who spent six days in the facility last autumn.
"When they released us they told us we should not tell our stories to outsiders because that will harm us."
Sher Agha and others we interviewed complained their cells were very cold.
"When I wanted to sleep and started shivering with cold I started reciting the holy Qur'an," he said.
But sleep, according to the prisoners interviewed, is deliberately prevented in this detention site.
"I could not sleep, nobody could sleep because there was a machine that was making noise," said Mirwais, who said he was held in the secret jail for 24 days.
"There was a small camera in my cell, and if you were sleeping they'd come in and disturb you," he added.
The prisoners, who were interviewed separately, all told very similar stories. Most of them said they had been beaten by American soldiers at the point of arrest before being taken to the prison.
Mirwais had half a row of teeth missing, which he said was from being struck with the butt of a gun by an American soldier.
No-one said they were visited by the International Committee of the Red Cross during their detention at the site, and they all said that their families did not know where they were.
In the small concrete cells, the prisoners said, a light was on all the time. They said they could not tell if it was night or day and described this as very disturbing.
Mirwais said he was made to dance to music by American soldiers every time he wanted to use the toilet.
The ex-prisoners said they were imprisoned at the secret jail before being taken to the main detention centre at the Bagram airbase, a new complex called The Detention Facility in Parwan.
Bagram's prisoners were moved to the Parwan complex from the old notorious Bagram prison site on the airbase earlier this year.
In 2002, two prisoners were killed in the Bagram prison while in US custody after being suspended from the ceilings of their cells and brutally beaten.

A Reflection On Aceh Jihad 2010 (Part II)

The following is an analysis featured in the blog, 'elhakimi', which is a continuation of the earlier article. May it be useful and able to remove the doubt of the ummah regarding the urgency of jihad, Insha Allah!
Busy In Blaming The Enemies
When the Islamic ummah receive attacks from the enemies, there are still many who are busy blaming the enemies. America is made as a target of revilement. America is evil, the government of SBY is arrogant and etc. These are all true, there is nothing wrong with the expressions.
The problem is, this attitude tends to make us accustomed to covering our weakness and failures by scapegoating other parties. Blaming the enemies who are cleverer. Whereas, the genuine errors depend on the weakness of the Islamic ummah themselves.
As an illustration, the soccer team of Indonesia is having a match against the soccer team of Brazil. If defeated in the match, Indonesia could not blame Brazil. Because, it is natural that the one and only task of the Brazil players in the match is to beat Indonesia, just as Indonesia's highest obsession in the match is to defeat Brazil. When defeated, every soccer team would surely be busy in fixing its squad, not blaming the cleverness of the opponets or blaming the referee. The attitude of always blaming the enemies is a stupidity which will be laughed at by the world. A childish sentimentality.
Unfortunately, a lot of Muslims are always busy blaming the Densus 88, the police and government – whoever the president is. Those apparatuses are paid to defend the ideology of Nationalism, Democracy and the non-Shari'ah law. How could we be in the imagination that they would give love and mercy to the Mujahideen who are 'paid' by Allah to defend the Tawheed, the Islamic ummah and the Shari'ah law. The two camps are having opposing ideologies. Victory or defeat will defend wholly on the mechanisms of the struggle, without having to whine so that the enemies will soften their resistance. We can only busy ourselves in lamenting over our internal weakness, evaluating our mistakes and rectifying whatever had been mistaken.
Why are the Islam ummah easily invaded by America? Why could the Mujahideen, who should have been strong, be easily furled by the Densus 88?
The paradigm has to be reversed. Not blaming the Densus 88, the government of SBY, Israel or America. But blaming one's own; what has been wrong that the Mujahideen could be finished that easily? What mistaken strategy had been used that caused them to be defeated ? What had been ignored? and so on.
As for blaming the Densus 88 as a strategy to weaken the Densus 88 in front of the ummah, this could be justified. Because, by weakening the image of the Densus 88 in the eyes of the ummah, the support for the Densus will lessen. With that, the ummah could be invited to support the Mujahideen, not supporting the Densus 88.
So from here, the Islamic ummah should be busy in evaluating what had been done by the Acehnese Mujahideen. It needs to combed strand by strand, so that in the future it would become a group of lessons to be used for reflections. If we were to do the same thing, what needs to be improved.
So, stop blaming the enemies, but blame one's self (the self of the Islamic ummah where we are a part of it together) .
The Yardstick of Muhasabah: The Sustainability Of Jihad and The Victory of Islam
We, before doing a muhasabah, must agree on the yardstick that would be used. Because, choosing the wrong yardstick would make a defeat seen as victory.
For example, if we use to die shaheed as the yardstick, then the Aceh jihad 2010 is considered successful enough. Successful in what? In presenting the shuhada's! Because, the fact is, there had been reasonably many who fell as shuhada's (kama nahsabuhu wala nuzakki 'alallah ahadan).
If the yardstick is the ability to kill the enemies, the Aceh jihad could also be considered as quite successful because for the first time it could reverse the facts: normally the Densus 88 and their stooges are in the position of the killers, but now they could be made in the position of the killed. And the number is also fantastic! Kompas reported that 5 were killed.
If the yard stick is the arrest by the Densus 88, the Aceh jihad is also relatively “successful”. Because it presented cadres of jihad in a number that is quite high, as occupants of “Prodeo hotel” (prodeo = free i.e. local term for prison – ed). And their arrest was also relatively easy.
If the ability to emulate Al-Qaeda in the style of its propaganda, the Aceh jihad was also quite successful. They were able to record their propaganda with a beautiful background; the forest and its dense hills. Its call was also clear; inviting the Islamic ummah to unite with them in the forest. Only a little difference from Al-Qaeda, they did it by undervaluing da'wah and the social development of the ummah conducted by the elements in the ummah themselves. They carry off anything else except jihad. THE MAIN THING IS JIHAD!
It seemed that Al-Qaeda has become the most important inspiration. This could not be avoided, because anybody who discusses about jihad, cannot neglect the phenomenon of Al-Qaeda which is getting more global with the expansion of the internet. Al-Qaeda has become a dream model for all activities obsessed with jihad. Available on the internet, its messages are very potent in the “black-white” style and burning the adrenalin of the young people. They do not need to climb the hill sides. Their adrenalin are already burning just by sitting down in front of the internet.
All of these, according to yours truly, are not the yardsticks for the success of the Aceh jihad. Though, generally, we must appreciate the jihad that they had proclaimed. There is no do'a from us to them except all their 'amal ibaadah are accepted by Allah. And there is no choice in the reaction for us, except to become the cadres who would one day continue their jihad, of course without repeating their “mistakes” after doing some evaluations. But continuing doesn't mean it has to be in Aceh or other Indonesia territories. The continuing that we mean is the continuing of its jihad, not its Aceh, let alone the "mistakes”. Meaning, we must become the chain links and network of the global jihad of the Islamic ummah, after they had, before us, ascertained themselves as one of the rings that makes up the chain of the global jihad.
Therefore, the yardstick for the success must be agreed by us upon the sustainability of its jihad, the support from the Islamic ummah and the ability to weaken the enemies till they are defeated. If the Aceh jihad 2010 could be furled by the enemies only in a matter of weeks, it means that we must do some evaluations, what was wrong. If the Islamic ummah do not support and feel called to join the caravans of jihad, it means that there is something that needs to be improved (next time better). If the Aceh jihad 2010 was incapable of weakening the enemies, let alone defeat them, it means that there is something that requires serious preparations in order to defeat them.
True, we are not burdened by Allah with the obligation of defeating the enemies, but it cannot be denied that the Shari'ah of jihad is the best tool that Allah provides for us to defeat the enemies. But if its best weapon alone cannot be used , then how else can we defeat the enemies?
Its basic theory is; JIHAD SURELY RESULTS IN VICTORY IF DONE RIGHT. When the result is defeat, it means that we must have the courage to evaluate it gracefully. It might be that, this experiment happens repeatedly and we keep on doing the evaluations in order to achieve the greatest goal: to produce victory. Abu Mus'ab As-Sury exemplified, by writing a reflection on the Syrian jihad, and then a more extensive reflection in his book "Da'wah muqawamah". This book contains reflections on the global jihad, evaluations on its shortcomings and how the forward strategies are, in order to ensure that jihad would produce victory.
Jihad; Objective or Means
One of the stiff debates that is spreading amongst the jihad activists is; is jihad seen as a means to achieve victory or an objective and the last terminal from a series of servitudes to Allah? Though this debate does not stick out to the surface in the form of oral dispute, but it is reflected in the choice of actions.
The “means” mazhab will place jihad parallel with other ibaadahs. Every ibaadah is framed by the maqashid shari'ah which suit its character. Solat is framed by the objective of the union in the ritual of vertical submission. Sawm is framed by the objective of restraining the carnal desires and the personal sincerity to Allah. Zakat is framed by the objective of social solidarity in matters of wealth and the removal of the selfish mentality. Nahi munkar is framed by the objective of the eradication of munkar within the Islamic ummah. Meanwhile, jihad is framed by the objective of personal sacrifices in defending Allah and defeating the enemies of Allah.
Jihad is an ibadah. But in its implementation, it is not merely based on the objective of performing that ibaadah per se. There are a number of requirements in performing it, there are rules that come with it. It is not simply a matter of - “as long as the command of Allah called jihad is accomplished”.
This is the same as the ibaadah of nahi munkar. Not simply doing the nahi munkar per se. If the nahi munkar is predicted to cause greater munkar, then the nahi munkar cannot be carried out.
The followers of the “means” mazhab are inclined to prepare jihad by conducting da'wah, the development of the community, social services, educations and etc. They do not annihilate the role of da'wah as another tool in establishing Islam. Its position is parallel, because the dependability of the ummah upon da'wah is no less than the dependabilityof the ummah upon jihad. Both have to be done simultaneously, none is to be favored over another. It is this paradigm that must be used in viewing the ibaadah called jihad.
Meanwhile, for the followers of the “objective” mazhab, their actions are only focused on the implementation of their jihad as a fardhu 'ain duty. They neglect the little jobs which have the roles of supporting the sustainability of jihad. They want all the Muslim to come in their multitude and accept their call, go to the forest and mountains in Aceh and join them. They are leaving its da'wah, pesantrens, social institutions and everything else that does not have the portrait of “carrying weapons”.
Whereas, jihad requires the support of da'wah, the funds, journalistic, communication and technology experts and other kind of expertises. It requires the continuity of the human resources that will carry the burden of this jihad. How could jihad continue if the Mujahid-supplying machines are abandoned such as the pesantrens, madrassas, Majelis taklim (non-formal Dieniyyah educational institutions) and their like?
A strong effect that came out from the Aceh jihad was the making of jihad as the objective, not the means to achieve the victory of Islam. When jihad becomes the objective, then a Mujahid would neglect the little supports that would influence the success of jihad. For example, da'wah, the supports from the surrounding communities, the support of the mass media and etc.
The focal points are just how to conduct jihad and invite the Islamic ummah to conduct jihad, though the invitation becomes so absurd (blurred) in the eyes of the Islamic ummah who do not understand anything about the discourse of jihad. They are listening to the invitation like a blowing wind that passes by, because they do not understand the purpose of the invitation.
For example, if there are those who welcome the calls, they would still be in difficulties in finding the committees. They are clueless with the address of the secretariats. They still do not know, whether it requires some kind of test in order to participate? They do not know the location of the hills, they also do not know, who the enemies are. This is what we mean by absurd.
In the eyes of the Islamic ummah, jihad against the Densus 88 is something that is difficult to understand. They would say; Islam against Islam. It's natural, as the majority of the members of the Densus 88 are surely Muslim, according to the total number of the Islamic ummah who are the majority in this country.
These problems need da'wah. Moreover, how would jihad gain big support if da'wah is neglected? Da'wah was such undermined in the message released by the Aceh Mujahideen. As if they are living in another planet and are only busy with their own world. In medical terms this is called autism.

After A Month, The Janaza Of Hasan Nour Laid To Rest At Last

Jakarta - Still remember the shooting incident in Gang Asem, Pamulang on 9th March 2010? Hasan Nour or janaza number 003 (in the words of the police), who had fallen along with Nico Prestiando or Ridwan, was eventually buried yesterday, 12th April 2010 at Pondok Rangon Cemetery which is about 20 km from Kramat Jati. When the janaza was being washed, fresh blood was flowing from the back of the head. Whereas, the janaza had been stored in the mortuary freezer for a month. Is this a sign and indication of someone who dies shaheed?

The Bodyguard Was Buried At Last
Hasan Nour who had died as a hero during the raid in Gang Asem, Pamulang, 9th March 2010, was confirned to be the bodyguard of Dulmatin (the most wanted person by America and Australia), just like Nico Prestiando. Monday, 12th April 2010, exactly at 10.00 AM, an ambulance, followed by two other vehicles, left the complex of the PolRI Hospital Kramat Jati to head for the Rangon Cemetery which is about 20 km from Kramat Jati.

During the process of washing the janaza, which had appeared quite crinkly as it had been in the fridge for a month, some gunshot wounds could be seen on the left cheek, back of the head, parts of the left rib and the back. This is so strange, but it is believed that thus is the characteristic and indication of someone who dies shaheed i.e. fresh blood keeps on flowing from the wound, in fact to the time when Allah assembles all mankind in the field of Mahshar.

A soccer star, Marlon King, has embraced Islam while in prison – and after he got acquainted with... guess who? It was Abu Hamza, who is known by the British public as a hardliner and radical ulama'.
This ex-striker of the Premier League has embraced Islam through the guidance of other Muslim inmates. This athletic ex-striker was imprisoned after maltreating a female and breaking her nose.

A Reflection On Aceh Jihad 2010

The emergence of a jihad group which named themselves Tandzim Al Qaeda of “Serambi Mekah” (Front Porch of Makkah) in early March 2010, surely baffled many parties. Especially that it was followed up by a series of hunts, shootings and arrests on this Tandzim Al Qaeda which had their shares in executing resistance and inflicting heavy losses. All parties made analyses together according to each of their perspective. There are those who agreed, not a few who are reviling. What follows is an analysis which was featured in a blog, 'elhakimi' , presented in parts. May it be useful!
The Aceh Jihad that took place in early March 2010 was very surprising. When earlier before that, the society was preoccupied with the pandemonium of the Century (corruption case -ed), and all of a sudden reports about jihad in Aceh appeared, the Century was forgotten right away. Surprising because Aceh, which all these while was known as the base for the GAM (Gerakan Aceh Merdeka or Independent Aceh Movement), which was very local (GAM) in image, suddenly turned into the base of Al-Qaeda which is global in image.
What is more surprising, they – who are always called terrorists - carried out resistance in the form of gunfights in the open wilderness. The result was so surprising, a number of the Densus 88 members, which was projected as a gangster forces like the Blackwater – the sleeves rolled up to display a macho impression- were killed by them.
All of a sudden, the news about Aceh Al-Qaeda turned booming. The hot news of the Aceh gunfights had not settled, it was immediately followed up by the killing of (Ab)Dulmatin alias Amar Usman whose head was priced at 10 million Dollars by America. The Mass media were in noisy uproar blowing up the event.
SBY, who had been struggling with grief by the insistent pressure concerning the Century case, suddenly had his face turned joyous and radiant. He had found a good ammunition to cover the Century case. On another angle, he who was on a visit to Australia and received the "honor" to be the speaker in the parliament of Australia – it was said that only 5 heads of state had been given the chance for it - was having the special opportunity to bootlick Australia. He, by saying "alhamdulillah", reported to his master the success in capturing the ringleader of the terrorists (read: a Mujahid figure) who all these while had been targeted by the entire kafir world.
A lot of analyses circulated amongst the society. Unfortunately, in general they are divided into two camps which are both equally wrong in addressing this issue. Viewing the issue through wrong spectacles.
The First Camp: The Followers Of the Theory Of Conspiracy
The followers of this mazhab see the Aceh jihad as the conspiracy of SBY and the police of RI (Republic of Indonesia) to merely divert the public attention from the Century case which had its climax in early March 2010. Or, the conspiracy of maturating a situation to muzzle the radical camp so that a maximum security is created for Obama's visit to Indonesia scheduled for late March. (Alhamdulillah, delayed till June, it was said).
A conspiracy theory in its essence is a mechanism to “blame” the enemies by closing the eyes to the reality that the movement of a resistance in the midst of the Islamic ummah is real and cannot be refuted. The conspiracy theory always has the connotation that the enemies of the Islamic ummah are very superior, they could plan anything and achieve it just like in movie storylines, meanwhile, the Islamic ummah are just a flock of “deaf sheeps” who are stupid and oppressed. A conspiracy theory is based on views that the film director of all these events is the Jew, Israel, USA, Europe, CIA, BIN, the police and etc. This theory wipes out the taqdeer of Allah, the abilities of the Mujahideen and the Islamic ummah. Whatever events that harms the Islamic ummah, the answer is always the same: there is a Jewish conspiracy behind it. As if the Jews are "The Rulers Of The Whole Worlds" whose entire plan could be accomplished resembling movie scenarios at the hand of the film directors.
For example, when dissecting the attacks on the WTC which had destroyed the symbol of the American economy, these followers of the conspiracy theory are chained by the beliefs that it was all invented by America. Usamah bin Ladin was just a pawn used by America to mess up the Islamic ummah. The proof? In the past, when Afghanistan was fighting the Soviet Union, the Mujahideen got supports from America. It included Usamah bin Ladin.
The chain-links of logic were arranged, and the conclusion that came out was so ridiculous. They did not realize that this theory could drag other conclusion; that Prophet Musa AS was actually an agent of Fir'aun. The proof? Because, he had been brought up by Fir'aun in his palace.
The followers of the conspiracy mazhab do not believe that the Mujahideen are capable of launching such a spectacular attacks as the 11 September. They are imprisoned by the experiences of the Islamic ummah which have been occupied for so long, it is not possible that from amongst the Islamic ummah, there are some who are able to resist the kafir.
The followers of the conspiracy mazhab bicker that the American technology is so sophisticated that it is impossible for a civil aircraft to slip away from the espionage radar of the Americans, in its own country. They are forgetting the Powerfulness of Allah, Who could make the fire that burns, unable to burn Ibrahim AS. They are forgetting the taqdeer on the WTC destruction had precisely allowed the Jews to sniff the plan of the attacks earlier, and they allowed it to happen so as to inflame the war against the Islamic ummah which they liked to happen. This is the way of the taqdeer which Allah wills for the destruction of the WTC.
The followers of the conspiracy mazhab wrongly concluded. They think that the acts of the Jews that allowed the attacks to run smoothly was a proof of the conspiracy between the USA and Usamah bin Ladin. Subhanallah... just because of this misleading theory, they accused the Mujahids, whose jihad performance are acknowledged by the world, as agents of America. Blaming the jihad figures as betrayers because of the conspiracy theory.
The followers of this mazhab are numerous in number. The PKS, HTI and almost all the elements in the Islamic ummah, which are oppositive in ideology but modernists, use this mazhab. Look for example at the websites of Eramuslim and Hizabuttahrir. Their analyses are always founded on conspiracy theory. How sad!
Second: The Followers Of Neo-Murji'ah
The followers of this mazhab believe 100 percents in the information that come from the government, in this case the police. That, the executors are from amongst the Islamic ummah who are deliberately fighting a “valid” government. The followers of the Neo-Murji'ah react by being hostile towards the executors and believe that the incidents are certainly real, not the inventions or the products of a certain conspiracy, such as from the government.
The followers of this mazhab are generally from amongst the Salafi Murji'ah. They reject the conspiracy theory, but on another angle, they blaspheme the Mujahideen with sharp words. Normally, by calling them Khawarij. Feel free to see this phenomenon at, for an instant, the websites of the SM (Salafi Murji'ah) and Radio Rodja Cileungsi. One of the important figures of this mazhab is Zainal Abidin (the founder of Radio Rodja).
The error of this mazhab lies on their blind hatred towards the Mujahideen. They totally do not want to acknowledge the status of the "terrorists" as Mujahideen. To them, the Mujahideen are more hated compared to their hatred for George Bush, Ariel Sharon, Geert Wilders and other destroyer of Islam personalities.
Yours truly wonders, perhaps they have never truly learn the concept of Wala' wal Bara'. Even if they had studied it, it was surely in a wrong perception. They love the Sunnah very much, unfortunately they are unable to choose which are friends and which are foes. They identify the term Terrorist as Khawarij. The result, according to them, the Terrorists will become the dogs of Jahannam!
Wasath (The Middle Path) Mazhab
Contrary to the blasphemies of the SM, the followers of the wasath mazhab, with full of love, refer those who are given the title 'Terrorist' as Mujahideen. Terrorists who are Muslim of course, and are defending Islam and the Islam ummah. Unlike the Terrorists of the Basque Forces in Spain who are Christian.
As well as, not wanting to view the Aceh jihad with the conspiracy theories. All are true, executed by a small number of men from amongst the Islamic ummah who are yearning for jihad and shaheed. They are motivated by the rewards which are so tantalizing for the activities of jihad and the bounty of dying shaheed. As for its occurrence, which was soon after the Century scandals began to expose more offenders, they could not take it that the Aceh jihad was the product of the police fabrications. It was purely the taqdeer of Allah, which perhaps is a form of istidraj for SBY so that he feels he is loved by Allah, as he is saved from the Century scandal. Whereas, the way he was doing his bootlicking on Australia by giving reports to that of his “master”, showed that SBY is not a personality who fits to obtain help from Allah in the context of love and mercy. But, a "help" in the context of istidraj.
On another angle, the wasath mazhab also do not blindly defend the Aceh jihad as an absolute truth without any flaw. This Mazhab still give critical analyses on the amaliah (work) of Aceh jihad, with evaluating comments so that they will become lessons for the following generations. Not because of the factors of hate or envy at all. But the spirit of mutual consultation with love. Rabbana la taj'al fi qulubina ghillan lilladzina amanu !
This reflection is written in the paradigm of the wasath mazhab. Thus, it might be hurtful for those who are supporting the Aceh jihad blindly as if there was no flaw. My apology!

The Aceh jihad attempted to maintain the land of Aceh, which is full of blessings, so that it remains having the aroma of jihad, continuing what had been done for a long time by Allah Yarham (the late) Daud Beureuh (Read: Ber'eh) with his DI/TII movement, in the time of the holy war (fi sabilillah) launched by the people of Aceh against the kafir Dutch.
The jihad land of Aceh had its chance of being straddled by the aroma of tribalism; the sentiment of the Acehnese fighting the Javanese under the name 'GAM' (Gerakan Aceh Merdeka or Independent Aceh Movement). With the death of the ruh of the GAM opposition- as the ruh of tribalism is genuinely weak – the opportunity to cleanse the aqeedah of the people of Aceh from the tribal sentiment is open. To return them to the aqeedah of Islamiyah, by which the jihad must be in the paradigm of fi sabilillah, not fi sabili GAM.
Unfortunately, it appears that the executors are still unable to realize this mission, because the people have been so pro-government after having been through the traumas from the impacts of the GAM's activities in the past. They had been so traumatic towards anything that reeks of weapons. They had been tired of violence.
This trauma can only be healed with da'wah, which would straighten the aqeedah of the people of Aceh from the aqeedah of Nationalism or Tribalism and return it to the aqeedah of Islamiyah. To conduct da'wah and preach to them to love jihad, die shaheed and hate the systems which are non-Islam.
The choice of Aceh to be made as a jihad front, or any other territories in Indonesia for that matter, should be studied in depth. Jihad requires a "trigger" which could attract the Islamic ummah to unite in a massive number. If the igniter is not strong enough, the society won't be motivated to support jihad. The fact is that the executors did not think well about this igniter. They only make the fardh (obligation) of jihad and the honor of dying shaheed as the igniters. Whereas, the Islamic ummah had already been so chained by materialism and the pleasure of living (in peace).
The doubts of the society will still be unanswered, if in case they are already signaled to support the Aceh jihad: so jihad against who if the location is in Aceh? This question is apparently to be more fluently answered by the police; "see, these people are evil, there is no manifest enemy but they are inciting people to war. The only want to make troubles. If the people of Aceh join them, it would only add to their sufferings." This DA'WAH of the POLICE is proven more effective and more simple, that it could be easily understood by the people.
The success of Abu Mus'ab Az-Zarqawi in reviving jihad in Iraq, was due to the very strong igniter i.e. the presence of the foreign invaders who are kafir and very barbaric. Those three words (in bold) became the igniters which are very strong, that it even managed to attract the forces of Saddam into the ranks of jihad.
The triggers used by the executors are the lexis of jihad, fardhu 'ain, Al-Qaeda and die shaheed. Whereas, these words are still very absurd amongst the society who inhabit the surrounding areas of that "jihad proclaimed" land of Aceh . How could jihad in the mountains exist, if the society in the foothills do not support, give logistic assistance and etc. In the count of days, they would surely be furled easily.
The Aceh Mujahids seemed to be in the belief that jihad is an objective, not the means. In fact, what's even more extreme is making the death of shaheed as the objective that results in the absence of the contemplation on the analysis of victory or defeat, being capable or incapable. The essence is simply jihad. Just like the solat, the essence is that it has to be performed anywhere and in any condition, even in sickness. Whereas, if the Mujahid only plans to die (shaheed), he is already planning for defeat.

With the death of the ruh of the GAM opposition- as the ruh of tribalism is genuinely weak – the opportunity to cleanse the aqeedah of the people of Aceh from the tribal sentiment is open. To return them to the aqeedah of Islamiyah, by which the jihad must be in the paradigm of fi sabilillah, not fi sabili GAM.
Unfortunately, it appears that the executors are still unable to realize this mission, because the people have been so pro-government after having been through the traumas from the impacts of the GAM's activities in the past. They had been so traumatic towards anything that reeks of weapons. They had been tired of violence.
This trauma can only be healed with da'wah, which would straighten the aqeedah of the people of Aceh from the aqeedah of Nationalism or Tribalism and return it to the aqeedah of Islamiyah. To conduct da'wah and preach to them to love jihad, die shaheed and hate the systems which are non-Islam.
The choice of Aceh to be made as a jihad front, or any other territories in Indonesia for that matter, should be studied in depth. Jihad requires a "trigger" which could attract the Islamic ummah to unite in a massive number. If the igniter is not strong enough, the society won't be motivated to support jihad. The fact is that the executors did not think well about this igniter. They only make the fardh (obligation) of jihad and the honor of dying shaheed as the igniters. Whereas, the Islamic ummah had already been so chained by materialism and the pleasure of living (in peace).
The doubts of the society will still be unanswered, if in case they are already signaled to support the Aceh jihad: so jihad against who if the location is in Aceh? This question is apparently to be more fluently answered by the police; "see, these people are evil, there is no manifest enemy but they are inciting people to war. The only want to make troubles. If the people of Aceh join them, it would only add to their sufferings." This DA'WAH of the POLICE is proven more effective and more simple, that it could be easily understood by the people.
The success of Abu Mus'ab Az-Zarqawi in reviving jihad in Iraq, was due to the very strong igniter i.e. the presence of the foreign invaders who are kafir and very barbaric. Those three words (in bold) became the igniters which are very strong, that it even managed to attract the forces of Saddam into the ranks of jihad.
The triggers used by the executors are the lexis of jihad, fardhu 'ain, Al-Qaeda and die shaheed. Whereas, these words are still very absurd amongst the society who inhabit the surrounding areas of that "jihad proclaimed" land of Aceh . How could jihad in the mountains exist, if the society in the foothills do not support, give logistic assistance and etc. In the count of days, they would surely be furled easily.
The Aceh Mujahids seemed to be in the belief that jihad is an objective, not the means. In fact, what's even more extreme is making the death of shaheed as the objective that results in the absence of the contemplation on the analysis of victory or defeat, being capable or incapable. The essence is simply jihad. Just like the solat, the essence is that it has to be performed anywhere and in any condition, even in sickness. Whereas, if the Mujahid only plans to die (shaheed), he is already planning for defeat.
