IMAM MAHDI THE SHIA VERSION - MESSIAH DAJJAL AL MASIH???

.
What do we know about Dajjal?

Let's examine the truth of the Hadith from the Ahlus Sunnah brought to us by our Prophet SAW that Dajjal will appear:

Our Prophet SAW had told us in a Hadith that Allah SWT will guarantee victory to the Islamic ummah during the war with Dajjal and the Islamic ummah will kill him and his ‘shia’ (followers); When the followers of Dajjal hide behind a tree or rock, the tree and rock will say to the Muslims: "There is a Jew behind me, come and kill him." (Riwayah Imam Ahmad in al-Musnad). This Hadith uses the word 'shia' in describing the followers of Dajjal.

“Dajjal will be followed by 70,000 Jews from Isfahan, they will wear (robes) al-Tayalisah (Persian shawls – (today's Shia)) which are seamless.” [refer Saheeh Muslim]

Without us realizing the city of Isfahan is a Jewish city in Iran today which is also the center of nuclear activities for the state of Iran and also a center for investigation of the dangerous weapons belonging to Iran, which according to Israel's firm belief itself, Iran shall be successful in completing its nuclear activities without much problems. This proves that the forces of Dajjal are in the process of being prepared by the Persians who are the prospective followers of Dajjal, in order to greet the appearance of Dajjal. Try to understand the tasks of Dajjal based on the Shia Hadith explanations included at the end of this article. Happy investigating and studying the tasks of the Bani Israel along with their brothers from the offsprings of the Bani Ishaq bin Ibrahim AS i.e. Shia Persians in Iran.

SHIA MAHDI IS DAJJAL THE MESSIAH

The Shia is in the process of awaiting the appearance of al-Qaim or the 12th Imam or Imam Mahdi who have been hiding twice in the hole of Sardab in Sammara’. The following evidences have proven that the one who will be filling up the post of the 12th Imam is no other than Dajjal, based on the information from the religion of Shia itself (the hadiths and literary works associated as the words of their Imams [a.s.]). The Ahlus Sunnah must always be alert and careful and keep in their mind that the Shias are the followers and forces of Dajjal who will appear sooner or later.

It should be remembered that the Mahdi believed by the Ahlus Sunnah wal Jama’ah based on the information of saheeh hadiths is someone different from what has been believed by the Shia, be it in terms of aqeedah, lineage, practices, teachings and tasks, as well as the roles after leading the Islamic ummah. Please get the detailed information about it based on the nas which are saheeh.

CHARACTERISTICS OF SHIA MAHDI (DAJJAL):

a. The Jewish (household of David’s) Law.

Al-Qaim or Imam Mahdi of the Shia will rule according to the laws of Prophet Daud and his kinfolks, as per the book al-Kafi authored by Abu Ja’far al-Kulaini, which according to Shia is the most saheeh book out of the four primary sources of the religion of Shia which cannot be disputed by anyone. All who followed the hadiths of Shia will find the riwayah of al-Kulaini in al-Kafi (Vol. 1, pg. 387-398):

Ali ibn Ibrahim narrated from – his father – from ibn Abi Umair – from Mansur – from Fadhl al-Aour – from Abi Ubaidah he reported: “When al-Qaim from the family of the prophet appears, he will rule according to the law of Daud and Sulaiman.”

Muhammad ibn Yahya narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn Sinan from Abaan who reported: “I have listened to Abu Abdullah [a.s.] said: ‘The world will not be gone (the occurrence of qiyamat) except after one from us appears and rules according to the rules of the household of Daud’

Ahmad from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ibn Mahbub from Hisham ibn Salim from Ammar as Sabati he reported: “I asked Abu Abdullah [a.s.] : ‘In the name of what law would you rule with if you were to become a ruler?’ He answered: ‘According to God’s law and the law of Daud. And if we dispute over a situation where we cannot settle it, Jibril (Ruh al-Qudus) will reveal it to us.’

Muhammad ibn Ahmad from Muhammad ibn Khalid from Nazr ibn Suwaid from Yahya al Halabi from Imran ibn A’yun from Jaeed al-Hamdani from Ali ibn al-Hussein [a.s.] he said: “I asked him, 'With what law would you judge?' He said: 'With the law of Daud, and if there is an issue that cannot be settled, Jibril (Ruh al Quds) will reveal it to us.'

Ahmad ibn Mahran [r.a] from Muhammad ibn Ali from Ibn Mahbub from Hisham bin Salim from Ammar as Sabati reported: “I asked Imam Abu Abdullah [a.s.]: ‘With what law will you rule?’ He answered: ‘With God’s law and the law of Daud.’

b. The Hebrew Language

Further, the 12th Imam, the Imam Mahdi of the Shia will speak in Hebrew (Jewish):
Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Saeed al Uqdah said: Ali ibn al-Hasan at-Taymali reported to us: al-Hasan and Muhammad bin Ali ibn Yusuf said, from Sa’daan ibn Muslim, from rijal (numerous transmitters), from al-Mufadhal ibn Umar he said: Abu Abdullah [a.s] said: “When Mahdi supplicates, he will supplicate to God in Hebrew language.” [Al-Ghaybah an Nu’mani, pg. 326]

c. The Jews will follow the Imam Mahdi of the Shia.

According to Shia, the Jews will become followers of the Imam Mahdi:

Sheikh al-Mufid reported in his book, Al-Irshaad, from al-Mufadhal ibn Umar that Imam Abu Abdullah [a.s] had said: “There will appear together with Imam Mahdi.. people from the nation of Prophet Musa (Israel).” [Al-Irshaad al-Mufid, pg. 402]

According to a hadith from the book Al-Kafi, composed by al-Kulaini, when hidden Imam Mahdi learnt from a book called al-Jafr (one of the holy books of the Shia claimed to be authored by Imam Ali [a.s.]), which contains teachings from the religion of Israel:

Imam [a.s.] will remained hidden for a period of time and then said, “In our hand is al-Jafr. Do they know what al-Jafr is?” So I asked, “What are the contents of al-Jafr?” The Imams [a.s.] said, “It contains the knowledge of the Prophets and the accomplishers of their hopes and the knowledge of the Israeli intelligentsias of the past.” [al-Kafi, Hadith 635, Ch. 40, pg. 1]

THE CONCLUSION OF THE RIWAYAHS FROM THE SHIA BOOKS ABOVE:

All these beliefs require us to believe that the 12th Imam of the Shia is actually the Jewish Dajjal, which Rasulullah SAW had warned us about, the figure who will deceive a lot of human beings and create various corruptions on earth. This is the person awaited by the Shia. With reference to evidences, these are what we know about their al-Qaim:

1. He will rule according to the legal system of the household of Daud, using the Talmud.

2. He uses the Hebrew language.

3. His followers consist of the Jewish people and religious leaders of the Jews.

4. When in hiding the Imam studies the Talmud which is the content of “al-Jafr”.

THE MESSIAH OF THE JEWS – THE MAHDI OF THE SHIA

Let us reflect on the similarities between the Shia Mahdi and the Dajjal Messiah of the Jews recounted by the Jewish religionists.

The famous Jewish writer, Raphael Pata’ had translated the book Mishne Torah, which was compiled by the Jewish priest of the past named Maimonides. The title of the translation is "The Messiah Texts", on pages 322-327, Maimonides wrote;

“King Messiah will arise in the future and will restore the kingship of David to its ancient condition, to its rule as it was at first. And he will rebuild the Temple and gather the exiled of Israel. And in his days all the laws will return as they were in the past. They will offer up sacrifices, and will observe the Sabbatical years and the jubilee years with regard to all the commandments stated in the Torah. And he who does not believe in him, or he who does not await his coming, denies not only the [other] prophets, but also the Torah and Moses our Master. For, behold, the Torah testifies about him [the Messiah], as it is written,

The Lord will return your captivity and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the peoples whiter the Lord thy God hath scattered thee. If any of thine that are dispersed be in the uttermost parts of heaven, from thence will the Lord thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it (Deut. 30:3-5)

Furthermore, the Jews believe that the Messiah or al-Masih is a king, a winning conqueror from the descendants of Prophet Daud whom they called the son of Allah. They also believe that al-Masih will return to bring back the glory of Israel and unify the Jewish people in Palestine as well as making the law of the Taurat (the book of Prophet Musa) effective and operational.

They had already hoped that al-Masih would appear since the time of Prophet Musa. The name al-Masih – Messiah is always summoned by the Jewish people every time they are struck by disasters and every moment they are suffering those disasters.

However, at times, the name al-Masih is also christened on anyone who reacted to their (the Jews’) enemies, even though that person is not from the descendants of Daud, such as the title given to Cyrus. Since al-Masih still has not appeared, they called using some characteristics of the actual al-Masih i.e. a social restorer (muslih), just and well mannered. [see Arthur Hertzberg, Judaism, p. : 215 – 218 ]

Abbas Mahmud Aqqad said, a majority of the researchers believe that the idea of the honest savior was borrowed from the beliefs of Zoroaster, the original religion professed by the Persians. [See Dr. Ahmad Shalabi, Agama Yahudi (The Jewish Religion), Pustaka Nasional : Singapore, yr. : 1977, p. 185. Abbas Mahmud Aqqad, Allah, p. 117.]

Guignebert said: Indeed, it is the tendency of the Persians to portray continuous victories of the good camp over the bad camp after going through a long struggle. What is named as good by the Persians, is always named as al-Masih by the Jews [see Guignebert, The Jewish World in The Time of Jesus, p. 141].

The of idea of the existence of an idealist king who rules the whole world comes from the idea spread amongst the Semitic people (Jews) and it is then followed by the existence of the same ideal kingdom on earth, or what is called by the Jews and Christians as the Kingdom of God.

Some researchers also argues that the idea of al-Mahdi Muntazar held by Shia is borrowed from the idea of the awaited one from amongst the Jewish people. [see Max Margolis and Alexander Marx: A History of Hebrew People, pg. : 258]

WHAT WILL BE DONE BY THE SHIA MAHDI – DAJJAL AFTER HIS APPEARENCE?

Now, let’s see what are the characters of the Shia Mahdi – Dajjal and what will he do when he reappears, based on the hadiths of the Shia religion:

a. Rasulullah SAW is the first person to perform bai’ah to Imam Mahdi? A deviated aqeedah of the Shia.

The first person to bai’ah to the Shia Imam Mahdi is Rasulullah SAW after the raj’ah (resurrection). Rasulullah SAW will become his student. [Haqq al-Yaqin vol.2, pg. : 347 and Bashairu al-Darajat, pg. : 213]

b. When Imam Mahdi appears, Hypocrisy (Taqiyyah) for Shia religion will be annulled.

Taqiyyah is something compulsory to be practiced by one who is following the Shia religion. He will be out of the Shia religion if he does not practice it. Narrated from the 8th Imam, Ali bin Musa, he said, “There is no religion for the non wara’ and no iman for one who does not practice taqiyyah.” So he was asked, "O grandson of Rasulullah, until when (is one required to practice taqiyyah)?" He replied, “Until a certain day i.e. the day Imam Mahdi appears. Whoever does not practice taqiyyah before the appearance of Imam Mahdi, is not from amongst us.” (Kashf al-Ghummah Al-Ardabili, pg. 341).

c. Imam Mahdi is Wicked and Violent.

The Imam Mahdi awaited by the Shia is violent and cruel that he has no task other than murdering and slaughtering the humans, especially the Arabs and people from the Ahluss Sunnah.

They stated that when Imam Mahdi appears the Shia people will present every Nasibi (Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamaah considered as kafir by the Shia) in front of Imam Mahdi. If the Nasibi acknowledges Islam i.e. the domain, he will be freed, otherwise he will be beheaded or made ready to pay jizyah as a dhimmi.(al-Majlisi, Bihar al-Anwar, vol. 52, pg. 373, tafseer Furat ibn Ibrahim, pg. 100).

Al-Majlisi narrated, “there will be nothing left between us and the Arabs except massacres.” [Mula Baqir al-Majlisi, Bihar al-Anwar, vol. 52 pg. 349].

In other riwayah, al-Majlisi narrated, “al-Muntazar will walk amongst the Arabs and kill them.” [Mula Baqir al-Majlisi, Bihar al-Anwar, vol. 52, pg. 318]

He also narrated, “Look out Arabs because there will be very bad news, that verily, none from amongst them will come out with al-Qa’im.” [al-Majlisi, Bihar al-Anwar, vol. 52, pg. : 333]

Cruel upon mankind - by killing 9/10 out of the Islamic ummah. When raj’ah, the people of the Ahlus Sunnah who do not accept his teachings (Shia Imamiyyah) will be beheaded. [al-Kulaini, al-Raudah min al-Kafi, vol.8, pg. 160]

Majlisi narrated from Abu Abdillah [a.s.], “Supposing mankind knows what is going to be done by al-Qaim when he appears, most of them will prefer to not see him because of the killings he would do to mankind.. it makes most of mankind say, 'This is not from the household of Muhammad, if he is from the household of Muhammad he certainly has compassion.' [Bihar al-Anwar, vol. 52, pg. 353 ]

Sayid Sadr stated, “Indeed most the killings that happen on mankind are directed on the Muslimeen. Then he (al-Qaim) awards me a copy of his book...” [Sayyid Husein al-Musawi, lillah thumma li Tarikh, trans. Why I left Shia, pg. : 137]

d. Imam Mahdi will destroy the Ka’bah.

Al-Majlisi explained, the first thing going to be accomplished by al-Qaim after his appearance is to expel two individuals i.e. Abu Bakr and Umar, who are still wet and fresh, throwing them both using the wind and destroying the masjids. [Bihar al-Anwar, vol. 52, 387]

Imam Mahdi, whose appearance is awaited according to the beliefs of the Ahlus Sunnah, will fill the earth with justice after it is filled with cruelties considered by the Shia as the one who will destroy the Kaabah and cut off the arms and legs of the guardians of the Haram Land.

Sheikh Mufid mentioned that, “When Imam Mahdi appears he will demolish Masjid al-Haram and dismember the hands of the Bani Shyaibah, then hangs them on the Kaabah as well as writing on it, 'these are the hands of the thieves of Kaabah.' (al-Mufid, Al-Irshaad. pg. 411, At-Tusi, Kitab al Ghaibah, pg. 282)

Al-Majlisi narrated, “Verily, al-Qaim will demolish Masjidil Haram and Masjid Nabawi until the ground is flattened.” [al-Majlisi, Bihar al-Anwar, vol. 52, pg. : 338. also al-Tusi, al-Ghaibah, pg. 282]

e. Digging up the graves of all the Prophet’s Sahabahs.

The graves of Abu Bakr al-Siddiq and Umar al-Khattab RA are to be dug up, and they are to be crucified and flogged in front of the crowds. Both of them will be resurrected to receive their sentences. [see, Ni’matullah al-Jazairi, Al-Anwar al-Nu’maniyyah, vol.2, pg. : 85 and Majlisi, Haqq al-Yaqin, vol. 2, pg. : 242 ]

Meanwhile, in the era of Mahdi’s appearance, when raj’ah, Imam Mahdi will resurrect `Aisha and execute the law of hudud on her, as `Aisha was said to be committing zina with Rasulullah SAW during her life. [Al-Anwar al-Nu’maniyyah, vol. 1, pg. : 161, Tafsir al-Shafi, vol. 2, pg. 108, Haq al-Yaqin, vol. 2, pg. 256, Hayat al-Qulub, vol. 2, pg. 611]

al-Majlisi explained that the first thing to be accomplished by al-Qaim after he appears is to expel two persons i.e. Abu Bakr and Umar who are still wet and fresh, hurling them with the winds and demolish the masjids. [Bihar al-Anwar, vol. 52, pg. 387 ]

f. The Shia Mahdi follows the law of Daud and Sulaiman (Book of Zabur) in a cruel way.

Al-Majlisi narrated that, “al-Qaim will bring a new teaching, a new book anda new law.” [al-Majlisi, Buhar al-Anwar, vol. 52, pg. : 354 ]

Al-Kulaini in Usul al-Kafi, the most saheeh book for the Shia exceeding the saheeh of Saheeh al-Bukhari for the Ahlus Sunnah, narrated from Imam Abu Abdillah [a.s.] he said: “If al-Qaim from the household of Muhammad appears, he will rule using the law of Daud and Sulaiman (teachings of Taurat), he will not ask for evidences.” [Usul al-Kafi, vol. 1, pg. : 397]

CONCLUSION

Finally, let us all study about the people of Persia, the followers of Dajjal who would greet his appearance. Only those whose inner eyes are blind would consider the Shia Persians as having the same religion as them, without studying the background of their involvement and cooperation with Zionist America and Israel in toppling down Taliban Afghanistan and Iraq. The Shia, whether it be Iran, Syria or Hizbullah are the allies of Israel despite the conflict and their phoney wars. It is sufficient that we reflect on the riwayah of Imam Muslim where Rasulullah SAW said, “Dajjal, will be followed by 70,000 followers from the town of Jewish Isfahan, who wear the Persian (Shia) robes - Tayalisah”.

The Inaugural Maulid

.
Sultan Salahuddin al-Ayyubi viewed the disease of wahn as a disease that must be eradicated from the hearts and minds of the Muslims. Therefore, he organized a large scale event of festival all over the Muslim countries. This festival is known as the celebration of Maulid ul-Rasul SAW.

The disease of Wahn (the love of this life and hate of death) was spreading and swallowing up the souls of the Muslims. This acute disease had seeped into the deepest spot of the heart and infected the lives of most Muslims. Accumulating wealth, forgetting the hereafter and fearing death had made the Muslims reluctant to join the caravan of Jihad and fight. This was the reason why the Muslims were easily subjugated by the kufr Crusader forces the first time they set foot in Palestine.

The power of weaponry, technology and the number of forces had never been a main factor in the history of the true Muslims’ struggles, like what we have seen in the victories given by Allah SWT to His Rasul in the battle of Badr, the battle of Yarmuk and many other battles.

It was all due to the Muslims’ love for shaheed and their longing to meet their Rabb. However, the ambition to die shaheed faded with times, replaced by the glitters of the world, to the point that when the invaders arrived, there was no significant call for resistance i.e. Jihad.

Sultan Salahuddin al-Ayyubi viewed the disease of Wahn as a disease that must be eradicated from the hearts and minds of the Muslims. Thus, he organized a large scale event of festival all over the Muslim countries. This festival is known as the celebration of Maulid ul-Rasul SAW. Therefore, this event of festival reverberated and was filled with At-Taujih (briefings, instructions, guidelines), advices on the subject of the sirrah (history) of Rasulullah SAW, as well as poetry and story-telling contests with regards to the sirrah of Rasulullah SAW.

In the beginning, this Maulid was opposed by some ulamas, considering its nature, which was new and pointing towards bid’ah. However, Salahuddin clarified that it was an activity that would enliven the Shi'ar (hallmarks) of Islam (bid’ah hasanah) and not ritual in character which is a forbidden bid’ah. Salahuddin asked for the consent of the Abbasiyah Khalifah, an-Nasir, in Baghdad who approved his initiative.

During the hajj season in Dzulhijjah 579 H (1183 AD), Salahuddin as the sultan who was protecting Makkah, immediately instructed the entire jama'ah of hajj to immediately spread the information to all the Muslims when they all went back to each of their villages, to organize the commemoration of the birth (Maulid) of the Prophet SAW in the month of Rabiul Awal in the following year. The Maulid they were going to organize should be having the character of being able to arouse the spirits of the Muslims, so that they would return to studying Islam and conduct Jihad.

Suddenly, the life of Rasulullah SAW was once again exposed in every corner of the Muslim countries and implanted into the souls of the Muslims. The winding courses and the ups and downs of his struggles were clearly pictured in front of their eyes. The longings and affections recurred, and the tears dropped remembering the beloved Rasulullah SAW. This festival that took place for two months without stopping really reawakened the Muslims to rise up from their long slumber. The values of Jihad were also introduced which really rekindled their spirits to conduct Jihad.

In this festival, a compilation of beautiful pieces of poetry which praised Rasulullah SAW known as ‘Iqd al-Jawahir (a string of gems) won the contest of the festival. This compilation of poetry is better known as Barzanji, because it was written by Sheikh Ja’far al-Barzanji, who came from Barzinj, Kurdistan. This is the most recited poetry by the Muslims in many countries to these days. In fact, even the Maulid of the Prophet SAW continued to be commemorated by the Muslims today.

Unfortunately, these poetry and Maulid are like empty and without meanings in their performance today. In fact, even the Sheikhs and Ustadzs do not seem to understand the early history of Maulid which they are commemorating every year. Even though the performance of Maulid is repeatedly held, the ruh and spiritual values of Jihad still do not arouse the Muslims to wake up from their long slumber.

This festival solemnized by Salahuddin was successful in shaking the countries of the Muslims. The elderly citizens and the youths, they both rose and marched behind the Sultan to join ranks in Jihad. The buzz and echoes of Jihad verses were reveberating everywhere. The caravans of Jihad were lined up elegantly, the ambitions for shaheed tolled and were ready to storm the invading Crusaders and cleanse Palestine from humiliation and dishonor.

Note: Other source mentions that the Maulid was first held by the Fatimiyyah Dynasty, also in the era of Salahuddin. However, this is hard to accept considering the Fatimiyyah are Shi’ah which generally is more inclined to idolize Ali RA than Rasulullah SAW. Ibnu Kathir in his book al-Bidayah wan Nihayah, 13/137, mentioned that King Mudhafir had organized the Maulid in the early 6th century of Hijrah (Crusader War era), but only when he became Salahuddin’s in-law that the Maulid was held in a much larger scale in all the Muslim countries.

Message to the Tribes of Yemen, From Mujahid in Somalia

Rabi' al-awwal 04, 1431 A.H, Thursday February 18, 2010

Tribes of Yemen, the war has reached you, it has come to your abode and you are most able to face it. The messenger of God had indicated in a Hadith that the armies of Yemen will come from Aden and that they are the best of armies. The Yemeni front is ablaze; thus be as good as people think you are.

The banner has reached us here in Somalia and the enemies have gathered against us from every direction. Against us, they launched a brutal war and they plotted machinations to keep us away from the causes of Muslim. And despite the fact that some tribes were hesitant at first, and some were fearful because of the false Crusader media's cloaking their forces with a veil of deceptive media coverage, they threatened and frightened the world. But in the end, thanks to the determination of their children, the few, and their steadfastness, they (the tribes) championed the jihad and supported the mujahidin. Today, here they are championing the oppressed and working to restore the caliphate, and what did the Crusaders do?

Tribes of Yemen, do not be frightened by your enemies threats to invade you by land and by sea. Do not be frightened by the fabrications of the hypocrites. By God, they are too cowardly to confront and fight you and the best example is the tribes of Somalia. Ask them about the threats. Did they wipe them out; did they force them to surrender? By God, they did not, rather, they emboldened them and strengthened their pride and unity.

Proud tribes of Yemen, today is your day. Do not let your enemy see either weakness or disagreement in you. The enemy has grown weaker and powerless from fighting the mujahidin in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Somalia. It has come to you in its most weakened state. Therefore, you have no excuse to let it occupy your lands, desecrate your sanctities, slaughter your children, and destroy your homes, for you are a people of pride and faith.

People of Yemen, do not be the last to champion Shaykh Abu Abdullah (Usama Bin Ladin), may God protect him. He is from you and you are the first who acknowledged his good deeds. I know this is not going to be the first time you champion him. Everyone knows that your sons were the first to immigrate to Iraq, Afghanistan, and Somalia. But this time, the fate of the battle is to be determined in your land and sea and it is in your own hands. After that, the turn of Jerusalem will come, and then it will be time to restore the caliphate.

Tribes of Yemen, you have no excuse to fail Shaykh Usama. After the tribes of Somalia, Kenya, Abyssinia, and the sons of Sudan and Nigeria have come to champion him, you have no excuse to fail him now. It is inconceivable that the tribes of Africa are more eager to defend and champion Islam and protect its sanctities than you. Repent to God and defend the position of Islam. Champion Abu Abdullah. By God, he returned the nation to its glory and unity, so what is there to say, now that the tribes of Kenya have understood the matter and emerged from the jungle to support `There is no god but God.`

Tribes of Yemen, our rendezvous is at sea and the Bab al-Mandab (strait). The tribes of Somalia, along with the tribes of the jungles of Kenya and Abyssinia, the people of Sudan, Nigeria, South Africa, Uganda, and all of the people of Africa are ready. Do not miss the rendezvous and do not be afraid, for you are no cowards and this is how we regard you. We are confident that we will see you at sea just as we have been accustomed to see in the past. It is no coincidence that Abu Abdullah came from you, and it is no coincidence that the messenger, prayers and peace be upon him, mentioned you (in Hadiths).

May God's peace, blessings, and mercy be upon you.

Why Be Worried By Jihad?

.
Jihad Fie Sabiilillah, Its Interpretation and Objectives

Verily, all praise belongs to Allah, we praise Him, we beg for His help and we beg for His protection from the wickedness of our selves and from the ugliness of our deeds. Whoever Allah gives hidayah, none can misguide. Whoever Allah misguides, none can give hidayah. And I bear witness that there is no Ilah (God) except Allah, the One and Only God, He has no partner. And I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.

From the context of Lughah (Language), Jihad originates from the root word: "Jahada", meaning: Badzluth Thaaqah Wal-Wus'I, Au Huwa Al-Mashaqqah (Lisanul Arab 4/107, Taajul Arus 2/329, Asasul Balaghah 1/144 and Badaa-I' ush Shanaa-'I, Alkisani 7/97)

Whereas, from the context of shar'ie, Jihad is as illustrated in this hadith:

“A man asked Rasulullah SAW: What is Jihad? Rasulullah SAW answered: ‘Namely, you fight the kafir when you meet them’

The above words is a piece of saheeh hadith narrated by Ahmad with a sanad, and its Rijal is “al-Rijaalus Saheeh” (saheeh narrator).

Jumhur Fuqaha (majority of the Fiqh experts) argues that the kalimah "Al-Jihad", if interpreted unconditionally, means Al-Qital (war) and mobilizing every capacity with that war for the sake of establishing the kalimah (words) of Allah SWT.

An explanation that is quite comprehensive is as mentioned by Hanafiyyin:

"Mobilizing every effort and strength by conducting war in the cause of Allah Azza Wa-Jalla, with life, property and words and so on" (Badaa-I' ush Shanaa-'I, Alkisani 7/97)

As for the meaning of "Fie Sabiilillah", if interpreted unconditionally, it will point to the interpretation that is required by the interpretation of Al-Jihad, i.e. it means Al-Qital (war in the cause of Allah) (Ats-Tsamratul Jiyaad Fii Masaa-ili Fiqhil Jihaad; 8). That is the reason why many authors inserted the hadith by Bukhari, "Whoever performs sawm one day in the cause of Allah, Allah will keep his face away from the (Hell) fire for (a distance covered by a journey of) 70 years," into the chapter of Jihad. This could be referenced in the book At-Targhib wat-tarhiib by Al-Mundziry, Saheeh Bukhari and others."

Attention:

That, understanding the meaning of Jihad according to the interpretation of shar'ie is very important. In the same manner as the ibaadah of Solat and Sawm which have their unique rules and etiquettes as well as sunnahs, the same applies to Jihad.

For example, Sawm originally means “restraining and preventing.” Whereas, Solat means "praying and submitting wholeheartedly.” However, after Allah SWT has perfected His Dien (religion), it is not valid that one who simply restrains himself from talking improperly or from eating and drinking at anytime he likes is said to be having performed sawm. Likewise, one who merely prays and submit himself wholeheartedly could not be said as already having established solat.

The same thing goes for Jihad, this obligation is not automatically nullified when one already carried out da’wah or spent his wealth. Not even one from amongst the ummah, be it the salaf or khalaf (earlier and later Muslims) who understand the verse: “Go ye forth, (whether equipped) lightly or heavily,” (At-Taubah: 41) or “..when ye are asked to go forth in the cause of Allah..” (At-Taubah: 38) as: “Go out for thalabul 'ilmi (seeking knowledge),” or understanding it as, “Go out to do invite (da’wah) to goodness.” Therefore, it remains that if a word is interpreted in the context of shar’ie, then it is interpreted in a meaning that is specific and limited, it cannot be twisted to other interpretations unless there is a daleel (evidence) of comparison that can twist it otherwise.

So, know that if Jihad Fie Sabiilillah is interpreted unconditionally, whether we like it or not, it would mean conducting jihad against the kafir with the swords (weapons), until they become Muslims or pay the Jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued (Muqaddimah Ibnu Rushd 1/369).

Without understanding an issue using a mizan (barometer) of shar’ie, the affair would become chaotic and mazy, misconceptions would arise, the shar’ie wish and objective would disappear and become unaccomplished. We beg for safety and afiat (strength) from Allah SWT, in this dunya and akhira. O Rabb, do not let us be astray after You have given us hidayah, and grant us mercy from You, verily You are the Great Bestower of favours.

The Shar’ie Objectives of Jihad Implementation:

1. Destroying the obstructing walls that hinder the spreading of the Dien (religion) to every corner of the world, like what is mentioned by Allah SWT: " And fight them on until there is no more tumult or oppression, and there prevail justice and faith in Allah altogether and everywhere;" (Al-Anfal: 39).

2. Preventing and removing tyranny while simultaneously establishing the pure Truth for the sake of wiping out evil and corruptions, Allah SWT says: "And did not Allah check one set of people by means of another, the earth would indeed be full of mischief: But Allah is full of bounty to all the worlds." (Al-Baqarah: 251). And again He says: "To those against whom war is made, permission is given (to fight), because they are wronged;- and verily, Allah is most powerful for their aid;- (They are) those who have been expelled from their homes in defiance of right,- (for no cause) except that they say, 'our Lord is Allah..' Did not Allah check one set of people by means of another, there would surely have been pulled down monasteries, churches, synagogues, and mosques, in which the name of Allah is commemorated in abundant measure. Allah will certainly aid those who aid his (cause);- for verily Allah is full of Strength, Exalted in Might, (able to enforce His Will)." (Al-Hajj: 39-40).

3. Protecting the existence of the Muslims, their dignity and honor, as well as helping the weak people (Mustadh'afin), just as what Allah SWT says: "And why should ye not fight in the cause of Allah and of those who, being weak, are ill-treated (and oppressed)?- Men, women, and children, whose cry is: ‘Our Lord! Rescue us from this town, whose people are oppressors; and raise for us from thee one who will protect; and raise for us from thee one who will help!’" (An-Nisa: 75).

4. Humiliating and terrifying the enemies of Allah SWT, simultaneously stopping their cruelty, just as Allah SWT says: "Fight against those who believe not in Allah, nor in the Last Day, nor forbid that which has been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger Muhammad and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth (i.e. Islam) among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), until they pay the Jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued." (At-Taubah: 29). And Allah SWT again says: “Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power, including steeds of war, to strike terror into (the hearts of) the enemies, of Allah and your enemies, and others besides, whom ye may not know, but whom Allah doth know. Whatever ye shall spend in the cause of Allah, shall be repaid unto you, and ye shall not be treated unjustly.” (Al-Anfal: 60), and Allah SWT further says: “So fight (O Muhammad), in the cause of Allah: you are not held responsible except for yourself. And encourage the believers (to join you) that perhaps Allah will restrain the (military) might of those who disbelieve. And Allah is greater in might and stronger in punishment.” (An-Nisa: 84)

5. Purifying the hearts of the believers, eliminating the kafirs and selecting the shuhadas. Allah SWT says: “If a wound hath touched you, be sure a similar wound hath touched the others. Such days (of varying fortunes) We give to men and men by turns: that Allah may know those that believe, and that He may take to Himself from your ranks Martyr-witnesses (to Truth). And Allah loveth not those that do wrong. Allah's object also is to purge those that are true in Faith and to deprive of blessing those that resist Faith. Did ye think that ye would enter Heaven without Allah testing those of you who fought hard (In His Cause) and remained steadfast?” (Ali Imran: 140-142), and Allah SWT again says: “…but (all this was) that Allah might test what is in your breasts and purge what is in your hearts. For Allah knoweth well the secrets of your hearts.” (Ali Imran: 154)

6. For the tamkin (setting up) and implementation of the Islamic shari'ah which is just, for the sake of mankind’s wellbeing, under the shade of the Manhaj of Allah SWT. Allah SWT says: “(They are) those who, if We establish them in the land, establish regular prayer and give regular charity, enjoin the right and forbid wrong: with Allah rests the end (and decision) of (all) affairs.” (Al-Hajj: 41). In a hadith, it was said: "I was ordered to fight people until they bear witness that there is no God but Allah and that Muhammad is his messenger, establish prayer and pay charity, but if they shall do so then they have made their blood prohibited for me and their judgement is with Allah." (Riwayah Bukhari and Muslim)

7. Relieving and removing the fury from hearts of the believers. Allah SWT says: “Fight them, and Allah will punish them by your hands, cover them with shame, help you (to victory) over them, heal the breasts of Believers, And remove the fury in their hearts. For Allah will turn (in mercy) to whom He will; and Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.” (At-Taubah: 14-15)

8. Other objectives promised by Allah SWT: "And another (favour will He bestow,) which ye do love,- help from Allah and a speedy victory. So give the Glad Tidings to the Believers." (As-Saff: 13)

Deviated Ideas Of Secularism, Pluralism And Liberalism

. Secularism as a rough interpretation in today's usage is an ideology which states that an institution or body or state must be separated from religion. Therefore, secularism is a thinking that separates religion from life. Religion is only a matter of worship (ibaadah), relating to the way of how to worship the Creator. Meanwhile, for other affairs of life, religion cannot interfere.

Pluralism in social science is a framework where there is an interaction between a number of groups which show feelings of mutual respect and tolerance amongst each other. Pluralism also addresses an individual right in deciding for each of their universal truth.

Liberalism is an ideology, a philosophical view and political tradition which is based on the understanding that freedom is the main importance and consequence of politic. In general, liberalism aspires for a society that is absolutely free, characterized by the freedom in thinking for each individual. The ideology of liberalism rejects the existence of limitations, especially those that come from the authorities and religion.

Liberalism requires the existence of the exchange of ideas which are free, a market economy that supports private enterprises that are relatively free and a system of government that is transparent, and rejects the presence of limitations on individual ownerships. Due to that, the concept of liberalism further becomes the foundation for the growth of capitalism. In general, liberalism considers religion as a restraint for the potentials of human intellects.

In Islam, secularism, pluralism and liberalism in religion are prohibited, because these are all misguided ideas and harmful to the Islamic ummah.

What is meant by:

1. Pluralism in religion is a concept that teaches all religions to be the same because the truth of every religion is relative; due to that, every adherent of any religion cannot claim that only their religion is true, whereas, other religions are false. Pluralism also teaches that every adherent of any religion will enter and live side by side in Paradise.

2. The Plurality of religion is a reality that in certain countries and regions there are a variety of different religious adherents who live side by side.

3. Liberalism is to understand the nas (text of Al-Qur’an & Sunnah) by using free or liberal minds; and only those doctrines that are compatible with the mind are accepted.

4. Secularism is to disconnect worldly affairs from religion. A religion is only used to regulate the private relationship with God, whereas the relations with fellow human beings are regulated based on social accords only.

Allah SWT says:

“If anyone desires a religion other than Islam (submission to Allah., never will it be accepted of him; and in the Hereafter He will be in the ranks of those who have lost (All spiritual good).” (Qur’an, Ali Imran [3]: 85).

“The Religion before Allah is Islam (submission to His Will).” (Qur’an, Ali Imran [3]: 19).

“To you be your religion, and to me mine.” (Qur’an, al-Kafirun [109]: 6).

“It is not fitting for a Believer, man or woman, when a matter has been decided by Allah and His Messenger to have any option about their decision: if any one disobeys Allah and His Messenger, he is indeed on a clearly wrong Path.” (Qur’an, al-Ahzab [33]:36).

Islam commands every Muslim to hold on tightly to the Islamic law. The Qur'an commands every human being to hold on tightly to the laws of Allah SWT and the laws of Allah SWT for the end times is the risalah (message) brought by Rasulullah SAW i.e. Al-Qur'an and Sunnah (Qur’an, Al Maidah: 48-49).

The ideas of Secularism, Pluralism and Liberalism carried by the camp who claimed to act on behalf of Islam, is indeed a form of great fitnah on Islam. Rasulullah SAW affirmed:

1. Imam Muslim (d. 262 H) in his book Saheeh Muslim, vol. 1, no. 284, narrated the hadith of Rasulullah SAW:

"By Him (Allah) in Whose Hand Muhammad's soul is, there is none from amongst the Jews and the Christians (of these present nations) who hears about me and then dies without believing in the Message with which I have been sent (i.e. tawheed), but he will be from the dwellers of the (Hell) Fire."

2. The Prophet had sent letters of da’wah to the non-Muslims, amongst them are; Emperor Heraclius, the Roman King who was a Christian, Al-Najashi, the King of Abyssinia and the Persian Kisra (Persian king known to Arabs as Kisra) who was a Majusi, where the Prophet invited them to enter into Islam. (Riwayah Ibn Sa’d in al-Thabaqat al-Kubra and Imam Al-Bukhari in Saheeh al-Bukhari).

3. The Prophet SAW conducted good social interactions with the non-Muslim communities such as the Jewish community who lived in Khaybar and the Christians who lived in Najran; in fact, one of the Prophet’s father in-law named Huyay bin Aththab was a notable figure of the Bani Quradzah (Sayyid Bani Qurayzah). (Riwayah al-Bukhari and Muslim).

Therefore, our attitude towards the three deviated ideas are as follows:

1. Pluralism, Secularism and Liberalism in religion as meant in the first part are ideas contrary to the teachings of Islam.

2. It is haram for the Islamic ummah to follow the concepts of Pluralism, Secularism and Liberalism in Religion.

3. In the issues of aqeedah and ibaadah, it is wajib for the the Islamic ummah to act exclusively, meaning it is haram to intermix the aqeedah and ibaadah of the Islamic ummah with the creeds and worships of the adherents of other religions.

4. For the Muslim society that lives alongside the adherents of other religions (religious plurality), in terms of social issues that do not have anything to do with aqeedah and ibaadah, the Islamic ummah should behave inclusively, meaning to continue conducting social interaction as long as it does not cause mutual injuries.

“Futur”, A Virus

.
Futur... a phenomenon much feared by the Da'is whose hearts are truly committed to da’wah. When interpreted from the aspect of meaning, “Futur” itself carries the connotation of “decreasing”, “disconnected” or “stopping after having moved”. Futur also carries the connotation of lazy, the habit of delaying or procrastinating. This disease starts small i.e. delaying a task, and if it is not curbed early it would develop and become uncontrollably chronic i.e. completely stopping or dropping out from the work of Islam. Futur can happen in a number of situations whether in the context of ibaadah, such as:

• The disappearance of khushoo’ in solat
• The recitation of Al-Quran feels bland
• Doing tafakkur remembering Allah SWT feels heavier
• Not only declining in terms of the quality of the ibaadah, but also in the quantity.

Futur can also happen in the context of da’wah. As an example, an activist who used to be active in propagating the risalah of Allah SWT during the campus days, etc. but after having comforts in life i.e. gaining wealth trhrough having good job, he begins to distance himself from the activities of da’wah and systematic programs of tarbiyyah. This is common and happens a lot of times... may those of us who are still in campus be protected from this, ameen.

There are many things that could cause the above two things to happen or easily put, there are a lot of factors that could bring one to Futur. Amongst them are:

Sins and Disobedience to Allah SWT

Sins and disobedience that are committed could make the hearts feel uneasy and in there, is an indication that our attitude are actually not in line with the commandments of Allah SWT. Because of the committed sins, uneasiness in the soul appears and that uneasiness in the soul could drag us into the decline of the quality and quantity of ibaadah. All the more so, if the sins are not viewed as serious regardless that they are only categorized as small sins. But if those small sins are accumulated, wouldn’t they pile up and mount in the end? Rasulullah SAW illustrated to us that a sin that is committed would leave behind a black dot in our heart. If we let that happens, the heart would eventually darken and unable to differentiate between haq and bathil. But if it is accompanied by istghfar, it would then shine again.

• Excessive in Mubah (allowed/neutral) Things

Allah SWT does not prohibit His slaves from enjoying the permissible things but let them be done in moderation. Allah SWT says in surah Al-A’raf, verse 31, which means:

"...eat and drink: But waste not by excess, for Allah SWT loveth not the wasters."

Ummul Mu’mineen Aishah RA stated:

“The first disaster that befalls this ummah after their Prophet passed away is satiation...”

• When the Feeling of Laziness in Performing Obedience Exists.

Namely, the feeling of being inclined to trivialize good deeds or ibaadah and also neglecting daily good deeds such as praying in congregation, sunnah prayers, Qiyyamullail, etc. In brief, all the deeds are simply hollow (i.e. empty in ruh)

• When the Hearts are Not Touched by the Holy Verses of the Qur’an.

Al-Qur'an is the holy book sent down by Allah SWT to His Rasul SAW which becomes the guidebook for mankind. The book that contains all that mankind requires, be they in the form of promises, threats, commandments or prohibitions. Of course, there is no denying that a majority of us read the Qur’an every day, but the question is: are we really getting the points of the verses that we read and then “digesting” them so that they become our shields and fortresses in ensuring that we are not falling into something that could invite the wrath of Allah SWT? Not to mention if we are lazy to read the Qur’an... starting to leave it little by little and until one day the Qur’an only serves as a house decoration or wedding gift.... Na'uzubillah~

• When Giving Less Attention on the Current Issues of the Islamic Ummah

This thing has always infected the Muslims whose lives are in the state of the so-called ‘comfort zone’. Though, the reality is that we are being attacked from all sides. No bullets, no bombs, no mortars and no landmines but we are already bold enough to declare proudly that we are safe in our country. No need to worry and in fact we are even grateful that the hardships suffered by the countries of our brothers and sisters in aqeedah such as Palestine, do not hit our country. Whereas, we forget that we are also under ferocious attack with the bullets of ideology. The Ghazwul Fikri schemed by the West is successful in stabbing the souls of our children and the Islamic ummah until there is no more feeling of empathy left for their own brothers and sisters.

In fact, we are also being attacked by the ideologies planned by the Islamic ummah themselves, which could challenge the aqeedah that is sahih. Those who are busy launching the campaign of national flag waving in convoys of motorcade without trying to relate or open the eyes of the public while they are enjoying the celebration of the national or independence day that there are still brothers and sisters who become refugees in their own homeland such as Baitul Maqdis and Gaza! Indeed, this could also contribute to the lack of concerns of the Islamic ummah on the problems suffered by their own brothers and sisters elsewhere. When a Muslim who understands the responsibility of delivering the risalah of da’wah to others is also falling into this trap i.e. when he begins to forget the hardships of our brothers and sisters in aqeedah who are grappling in their own homelands, that indeed is a sign of Futur. Especially if it is not treated, it will spread and eventually cause a Da'i to start forgetting his brothers in the do’a in his every solat, or forgetting to infaq his wealth for helping the struggles of his brothers. And the most critical of it is when his emotion becomes frozen when witnessing the problems of the Islamic ummah, who are oppressed. Instead, he is feeling thankful that he is not struck by such problems. When there is no feeling of empathy, nor struggling for the sake of overcoming the problems of the ummah, it is also an indication that there is no sense of responsibility towards the Dien.

• When Giving Too Much Attention to Worldly Affairs as Compared to Akhirah.

Oftentimes, this happens to all including the few people who understand the responsibility and importance of giving da’wah to others. We are too busy and excessive in giving attention to ourselves in almost every matter, such as what meals are we going to eat and drink, what clothes to wear, how to beautify our living places, etc.

• When being Prone to Avoid Good Bi’ah (environment).

The presence of the feeling of discomfort when mixing with people who are struggling in the way of Allah, as well as the people who love the Dien, also contributed to the declining and weakening of the self. They feel that they already have enough ‘ilm (knowledge) and they are satisfied with the tarbiyyah that they possessed to the extent that they refuse to receive the ‘ilm given by others.

Kafir American Forces Hoisting The White Flag

.
Al Haq (Islam) will certainly win and the kafir will eventually be defeated. That is the promise of Allah SWT that must come about. In an interview with The Financial Times, McChrystal, the field commander of the kafir forces of America in Afghanistan said that it is enough war in Afghanistan. Meanwhile, the number of suicides in the kafir forces of America continues to increase and hits a record high, i.e. not less than 160 soldiers in 2009. Are these the signs of the destruction of the kafir American forces in Afghanistan?

US Raised The White Flag

A special interview was conducted by The Financial Times and published on Monday (25/1). In the interview, McChrystal said that he was hoping for pressure from the international world so that the Taliban would want to accept political agreements. "As an army, my feeling told me that it is enough war in Afghanistan," he said.

The statement is surely an indication that the American kafir forces would soon raise the white flag as a sign of their surrender to the Mujahideen of Afghanistan. Whereas, they had earlier demanded for additional 50,000 personnels in order to strengthen their ranks. The increase in personnels that he demanded had been fulfilled by the leaders of the kafir forces, Obama and his allies. Unfortunately, McCrystal felt that the additional forces was weak and it would not increase the strength of NATO's position. So, it was not really a surprise that McCrystal thereafter indicated that his forces had been defeated.

McChrystal wanted the discussions between the Afghan government and Taliban (Islamic Emirates of Afghanistan) to be held immediately with a condition that the Taliban are laying down arms. They urged the participants in the London conference to renew their commitments and the commitements would then become the best way for the solution in Afghanistan.

The Trend Of Suicide In The Kafir American Forces

Meanwhile, the mentality of the kafir forces had become more depressed with the seemingly never-ending war in the Islamic land they had invaded i.e. Afghanistan. The number of suicide amongst the kafir forces of America is horribly high.

According to the US military report in 2009 which they called "The Painful Year", suicide in the American Army is entering a historical and new record. Not less than 160 personnels had killed themselves.

The American Army chief warned that the rate of suicide is in a rapid state compared to the previous year which only amounted to 140. However, they said that the cause for the spike is still unclear.

"There was no question that the year 2009 was a painful year for the army due to the huge scores of suicide case," Colonel Christopher Philbrick, deputy director for the Army Suicide Prevention Task Force, said.

Ten cases of suicide allegations on personnels still on active service were reported in December. It is believed that what had caused the depression on these armies were the heavy pressures from the years of war in Iraq and Afghanistan. Besides that, it was due to problems in marriage.

However, according to observation by the military itself, the gloomy path of suicide was not always triggered by the “battles tours” in Afghanistan and Iraq. It appeared that the causes are varied from base to base, and around a third of the armies who killed themselves were those who had never been deployed in a mission at all, either in Afghanistan or Iraq.

Nevertheless, whatever excuses the American kafir forces presented, the facts regarding the suicide trend amongst their men could never be hidden anymore. Defeat after defeat is also a daily scene in Afghanistan. They, the kafir must face the Mujahideen who love death (Ish Kariman aw Mut Shaheedan), just like they fear death and love life only. Allahu Akbar!

200 American Forces Already In The Land Of Pakistan

.
The US Military has apparently stationed 200 of its soldiers in the land of Pakistan. That number was two times more than what they had revealed earlier. Whereas, earlier the American special envoy, Richard Holbrooke said that "there was no American forces in Pakistan". And that number does not include the number of personnels who had carried out intelligence operations for America and the security contractors in Pakistan.

The news regarding the presence of the American forces in Pakistan began to be discussed since three American soldier were killed by an IED last week. The New York Times reported that those American soldiers disguised themselves by wearing Pakistani dresses, however, their vehicle was equipped with jamming devices using radio frequency meant to deactivate bombs detonated using remote control. "However, the Taliban could still penetrate into their ranks and carried out the bombings." 131 people were wounded according to the report by The New York Times.

The military told The Times that besides the death of the three soldiers on that day,
"12 other service members had been killed in Pakistan since 11th September 2001."

The three American soldiers killed were the specially formed personnels of the Special Operations and “civil affairs” forces. The American forces had been “quietly working on the development projects” in Pakistan. This was considered as a part of the efforts to train the local (Pakistan) forces as counter-opposition acts (in this case the Al Qaeda and Pakistani Taliban). However, these efforts by the American-Pakistanis are still hidden due to the fear that these could be made as propaganda tools by the Taliban to win the hearts of the people of Pakistan.
"Last summer for example, the American military trainers distributed foods and water in the refugee camps occupied by more than one million people in the Swat Vallley after the big battle between the Taliban and the Pakistani forces there. However, these aids distributions by America was also done in secret."

Guarding the secrets of the American involvement in Pakistan and exposing them in the media had become a dilemma for the medie themselves. This could mean giving the opposing party (the Taliban) chances to create even bigger propaganda that Pakistan has actually been invaded by America just like its neighbour, Afghanistan.

Looks like the war between the Taliban and Pakistani military would become more violent with the direct involvement of the American forces. This would surely invite the supporters of jihad all over the world to come in droves to Pakistan in order to help their brothers in iman. History will repeat itself, like in the 80’s where brave men from all over the world came to Pakistan to train militarily followed by their exodus to Afghanistan to fight the Soviet which eventually retreated all over the place after stumbling in Afghanistan.

The Difference Between Iman and Kufr

A Must Read!
.
Bismillah Ar-Rahman Ar-Raheem

The Difference Between Iman and Kufr

It is a fact, which we Muslims know but which the kuffar, in their ignorance, do not know, that Islam - our Dien, the Way of Life of a Muslim - is superior to each and every other way of living because it gives us not only the highest, the best, standards of personal and social behaviour, but also because it reveals to us our true human nature and the true purpose of our mortal lives.

Thus, in Islam, we have the best example of a human being - the Prophet, Muhammad SAW - to strive to emulate and follow, and which human example, when followed, produces in us a most noble, a most civilized, individual character. This best example, this noble and human way, is evident to us in Seerah, in Ahadith: in the Sunnah of the Prophet, Muhammad SAW.

In addition, we have been given the perfect guidelines, the perfect advice, the perfect guidance, the rules, on how we can build and maintain communities which enable us to live according to our true, human nature, and which can lead us toward the true purpose of our mortal lives. These guidelines, this advice, these rules, this perfect guidance, and our duties and obligations as human beings, are contained in Al-Qur’an, illustrated in the Sunnah, and manifest in the guidance of Shari’ah.

The simple but profound truth about Al-Islam is that this Way of Life, this Dien, works: for Al-Qur’an and the Sunnah, when followed, produce, and have produced, noble, honourable, civilized human beings, and they, and the guidance of Shari’ah, produce, and have produced, the most noble, the most civilized, communities in human history.

In essence, Al-Islam is the simple way of - the discovery of, the return to - Tawheed, which is to know, to feel, to remember, our correct relationship with and to Allah, our Creator and thus to know Allah as Allah SWT is. This knowing of The Unity, The Oneness, of Allah SWT is expressed in Kalimaah Tayyibah - La ilaaha illallaahu Muhammadur rasoolullaah - which itself forms the basis for Kalimaah Shahadah, the declaration that makes one a Muslim, and which re-affirms one's Islam: that simple submission to submit to and to only obey Allah SWT and that knowing that Muhammad SAW is the Prophet and Messenger of Allah, whose message, whose Allah-given revelation (Al-Qur’an) and whose life (Sunnah) are the guidelines, the means, by which we can return to, and know, Tawheed.

This knowing of, this remembrance of, this feeling of, Tawheed is the basis for Iman, for that simple and total reliance on, and belief in and trust of, Allah SWT.

The difference between Muslims and the kuffar is that the kuffar are Al-Jahiloon (the ignorant ones) because they have covered-up or forgotten or do not know Tawheed, and thus have no Iman. This covering-up of Tawheed is kufr, which is (1) a willful ignorance, manifest in pride, in arrogance, in the profanity of believing that human beings can - by some causal means, or by something (some idea, or belief or ideology or some ideal or abstraction) they have or might manufacture or which others have manufactured - find answers, and set the limits, the criteria, for themselves, and (2) a trust in and a reliance on - and often a worship of - those human-manufactured "things".

Thus, kufr - in contrast to Tawheed - is an individual relying on, and trusting and pridefully believing in, themselves, and/or in some human manufactured "thing". In contrast, Muslims accept and affirm that only Allah is Al Furqan, Al Hadi, Al-Bari - while the kuffar ascribe this setting of limits, this guidance, this settings of standards, to themselves, or to what they have manufactured or believe they can manufacture.

Allah SWT says:

"Those deceived by the dunya, those who for whom their Dien is but a passing amusement, shall be, by Us, forgotten on That Day just as they themselves forget This Day and deny Our Ayat." [7: 51]

As Muslims, we know and accept - through Al-Qur’an, the Sunnah, through Tawheed and Iman - that our mortal lives here in the dunya are but a means, a test, given to us by Allah SWT. A means by which we might achieve our true purpose, which is to be admitted into Jannah. As Muslims, we know and accept that we will one day be judged by Allah SWT Who will either reward us with Jannah, or condemn us to The Fire. As Muslims, we accept that our true human nature is to be Abd of Allah SWT. But the kuffar, in their ignorance, in their disobedience, in their pursuit of the delights and pleasures of the dunya, in their following of their Tawagheet, do not know and do not accept such things, and if they do know, or have been informed, then they laugh and are scornful. As Allah SWT says:

"Leave them to their moment of laughter: for their payment for such toil will be many many tears." [9: 82]

The current conflict between Muslims and the kuffar of the West - evident, for example, in the invasion and occupation, by the kuffar, of our lands - is, at its foundation, a conflict between Iman and Kufr; a conflict between those who seek to rely on and to obey and submit to only Allah SWT, and those who seek to, and who do, rely on themselves, or what they have manufactured, such as some belief or some "ideology" or some ideal, or some abstraction, or something more material - such as money, or some weapon - which they place their trust in order to achieve some kind of power or "superiority" over others.

The Ignorance and The Arrogance of The Kuffar:

The distinction between Iman and kufr is clear, and there is clear difference between the Way, the Dien, of Al-Islam, and between all of the philosophies and all of the ways and ideas and religions of the West.

For the philosophies of the West, the individual is either a potential god, or a free-thinking being with the capacity and with the "freedom" to make and to follow their own judgement, and who by following or by pursuing some ideal or some abstraction can or might achieve "happiness" and "security" now or in the future. Examples of such human manufactured, constructed, ideals and abstractions are democracy, "freedom", "peace", and "justice", all of which ideals and abstractions are defined by the kuffar themselves, with these definitions subject to constant change and revision.

But what is common to them all - whatever the current revision of definition is - is that all such ideals and abstractions are Tawagheet. That is, they all remove us from Tawheed, and are all based on the assumption that we, as human beings, can through our own efforts find or manufacture for ourselves what is considered to be the correct way, the "right" way, the ideal, the "perfect" way, the correct answers. In essence, all Tawagheet take us beyond the due, the honourable, limits of human behaviour, and they all negate or undermine the obligations and the duties we have, as human beings, to Allah SWT.

"You only do we obey and to You only do we turn for help." [1:5]

Even the religions which the kuffar have accepted - such as that which they incorrectly call Christianity - are examples of Tawagheet, of Shirk, for all these religions have obscured Tawheed, and all have accepted reliance upon something other than Allah SWT. Thus, and for example, the Nazarene Church has deified people as "saints"; affirmed the divinity of 'Isa AS; allowed and encouraged prayer to him and to saints; set up statues as idols; established a trinity of "Father, Son and Holy Spirit", and - in its Catholic form - interposed Priests who can forgive sins and make absolution.

Muslims accept and affirm that only Allah is Al-Mu'izz, As-Salaam - The Source, The Bestower, of Honour, and The Source of True Peace - while the kuffar, in their ignorance and arrogance, allocate these things to themselves or believe their Tawagheet can bestow them.

Allah SWT says:

"In truth We have sent Messengers to every people with a warning for them to submit only to Allah and so reject Tawagheet." [16:36]

Thus, all Tawagheet obscure Tawheed and obscure our natural human nature, and thus divert us from Islam, which Islam is fundamentally a knowing and a willing acceptance of the truth, the reality, of "who, why, and what" we are, and which is thus a rejection of all the assumptions, a rejection of all the errors, that humans have, in their ignorance and pride, made over the centuries.

For the assumptions of the kuffar, of those who have obscured Tawheed - and thus all Tawagheet - are examples of human hubris: of that arrogance and pride which was and which is manifest in As-Shaitan. Thus do such assumptions of the kuffar - and all Tawagheet - profane what is sacred because in place of the knowing of the numinous and the humility (Tawadhu') that derives from submitting to Allah SWT, from relying only on Allah SWT, from accepting that only Allah SWT is the provider of ilm al-yaqin, there is instead the belief that they, the kuffar, can obtain knowledge and understanding through their Tawagheet, and that their wealth, their technology, their military weapons, or whatever, will enable them to triumph. That is, they pridefully and defiantly rely on themselves and their manufactured assumptions, and upon what they construct or obtain or appropriate. Thus, they deify themselves and their assumptions, their Tawagheet.

Thus, in the modern West, people are sent to fight for, and to kill for, to impose, democracy, "freedom", "peace", and so on. In the past, people were sent to fight for, to die for, their "nation", or their sovereign, or their leader - in order to impose their "authority" and their way of life upon others.

In contrast, we Muslims accept that the only perfect way, the only perfect solution, is that given to us by Allah SWT as revealed by His Messenger and Prophet, Muhammad (SAW). That is, we accept as fundamental principle that we are fallible, prone to error, prone to being barbarians, and that we need guidance, and thus that true peace, in this mortal life, is not some ideal or some abstraction to be found sometime and somewhere in the future, but that it arises from submission to only Allah SWT, which such a humble submission being the way to attain that eternal blissful peace which is beyond this mortal life of ours and which this mortal life is an opportunity to attain.

In essence, the fundamental difference between our real Truth, and the ignorance of the kuffar, is that we know and accept that only Allah SWT is Al-Jalil, Al-Qadir, Al-Muqtadir, Al-Awwal, Al-Akhir, and that only Allah SWT can provide us with the guidance, the gifts, we need in order to know, understand, and to live our lives as we should. Thus, we accept that the only true justice is the justice of Allah SWT, and that the only true manifestation of justice, in the dunya, is that obtained by following the guidance of Allah, Al-Hakam, As-Salaam, in the Shari’ah. In complete contrast, the kuffar accept and believe not only that they can, by their own efforts and/or by their manufactured assumptions, arrive at or attain knowledge and understanding, but also that it is their own manufactured assumptions and "ideals" which manifest or which can manifest "perfection", "truth", and such things as "justice".

This difference is clearly evident, for example, in the training and the attitude, of Western, kafir, armies, and in the training, and the attitude, of the MujahiDien.

In all Western armies - and those elsewhere who have adopted Western military training and methods - soldiers are initially brutalized through a strict training regime. As individuals, they are conditioned through bullying and intimation by NCO's, and they are trained to be and are expected to be aggressive, as well as obedient to a military "chain-of-command". This conditioning and this training produces, as is its aim, a certain type of individual. This individual is a person who is rather arrogant - who has a high opinion of themselves, and someone prepared and trained to be brutal when commanded. Essentially, such a person is a bully, or is prepared to be a bully when commanded to act and behave in that way or when they are told or they believe "the situation" demands it. The respect which such a person has is for, or is mostly derived from, "force" or from the threat of force - by someone of superior military rank, or from someone of superior physical strength, or from some weapon or piece of military hardware. There is, built-into all Western military armies and all their military training, an intense spirit of competition: of desiring to be "the best", and thus of feeling superior "to others", and part of such military training is to create a bond between the soldiers of a troop or platoon by competition between different troops, platoon and Regiments, and by having pride in, one's own troop, platoon, company and Regiment.

In contrast, the MujahiDien feel and know that they are only servants of Allah SWT and that they will be judged by Allah SWT. Thus, they behave and act accordingly - with tawadhu’ and with a respect and genuine love for their fellow MujahiDien. The MujahiDien are not fighting to win some prideful fame or some worldly glory - and neither are they fighting because they have been commanded to do so or because they enjoy it or because they are being paid to do it. Rather, they fight to please Allah SWT and Allah SWT alone: to do their duty, as honourable Muslims.

Unlike the MujahiDien, the kuffar of Western armies are neither taught nor trained to be aware of, nor for the most part believe in, a "higher power" (far more powerful than their commanding officer or even the latest bit of military hardware), as the vast majority of them would laugh at the notion of prostrating themselves in humility to that "higher power". Neither do these kafir soldiers have any genuine humility, for they rely on their training, their weapons, their military hardware, their comrades, and not upon God.

Thus, we have the contrast between the polite, often reserved, always noble Mujahid - mindful of, respectful of, and relying on Allah SWT - and between the swaggering, often swearing, prideful, arrogant, often alcohol-soaked and often drug-taking kafir soldier, posing with and relying upon their weapons or upon some military hardware.

As Allah SWT says:

"The 'Ibaad of Ar-Rahman are those who walk on earth in humility." [25:63]

By manufacturing and following their Tawagheet, the kuffar - and especially and in particular the kuffar of the West - have plundered and ravaged the world and killed millions upon millions upon millions of people. In the last one hundred and fifty years alone, the kuffar of the West have killed at least a hundred million people as they rampaged across the world in pursuit of their Tawagheet of "Empire", in pursuit of material wealth, glutted as they were by power and by the pursuit and accumulation of wealth, and following as they were their Tawagheet of nationalism and "patriotism" and imbued as they were with an arrogant racism and colonialism.

All the kuffar of the West have now done is exchanged old words for new ones and slightly varied how they define their Tawagheet. Thus instead of invading lands, and killing and imprisoning people, in the name of Empire or nationalism, they now talk and write and act about imposing "democracy" and bringing "freedom" and "peace". This is typical of their hypocrisy and their deceit - typical of what allies of As-Shaitan do, for in essence, their aims and their goals, and their basic character and nature, have not changed at all. They are still ignorant barbarians; they are still deceitful, lying, hypocrites. They are still acting like the dishonourable bullies they are, known to us from their own history and ours, and they are still pursuing their own desires, their own greed, their own power, and still desiring to impose, by force and by coercion and by blackmail, their ways upon others.

In addition, the kuffar demand that we abandon Tawheed and Iman and instead accept, believe in and follow, their Tawagheet. Thus, they demand that we reject ruling only by Shari’ah and instead must rule by Western, kafir, laws. They demand that we reject our duty to establish a Khilafah, our duty to live under bayah to a Khalifah who himself seeks guidance through Shura - and that, instead, we accept their Taghoot of democracy. Thus, the kuffar demand that we abandon our duty to reclaim our lands from them by Jihad - and instead that we accept their domination over us and our lands and their right to impose upon us, and to support, a puppet government of their own to govern and rule over us. Thus, the kuffar demand that we reject the borderless community of the Ummah - and demand that, instead, we recognize and live by their Taghoot of nationalism, and by the laws of that Taghoot, the so-called United Nations, whose interference in our affairs they demand we accept, just as they demand that we accept that they, the kuffar, have a right to restrict our movements, and make laws which restrict what we, as Muslims, can say or do, even in our own lands.

The kuffar demand all these things - and many more such things - at the point of a gun and with the threat of imprisonment. In addition, in their arrogance - which matches if not surpasses the arrogance of Fir'aun - they have set themselves the goal of not only dividing us among ourselves so that their domination may continue, but also of changing our Dien, of manufacturing for us a new "modernized" so-called "Islam" - a new "interpretation" of our Dien - which will be just one more "religion" among many, and which states that we should be "good law-abiding citizens" of the New World Order which it is the aim of the current Zionist-Crusader alliance to impose upon the world. In pursuit of this goal of changing our Dien, the kuffar are spending billions upon billions of dollars on propaganda, on producing books, on manufacturing and supporting thousands of organizations, world-wide, which they staff with the hypocrites, the traitors, the apostates, the collaborators, among us, and which organizations the kuffar make - or seek to make - the "official" voice of, the "official" representatives of, what they in their hubris have called "moderate and mainstream Islam".

Thus, the kuffar demand that we exchange our perfect noble Dien, for their Tawagheet; that we rely on them, and their allies, rather than upon Allah SWT.

Conclusion:

Are we going to accept the demands of the kuffar? Or we going to exchange Iman for Kufr - Jannah for the delights and rewards of the dunya - by becoming the allies, the subjects of the kuffar? Or, are we going to follow, to join, to aid those - such as the MujahiDien - who have rejected the arrogant demands of the kuffar and who are determined, by relying on only Allah SWT, to end their interference in our affairs, remove them from our lands, and establish, in place of their Tawagheet such as democracy and kafir-law, the guidance of Shari’ah, the wisdom of Shura and the Muslim leadership of a noble Khalifah?

As Allah SWT says:

"They are those who deny the Ayat of their Rabb and the meeting with Him (in the Hereafter). So all their works are in vain, and on the Day of Resurrection, We shall not give them any weight." [18:105]

"You who believe! What is wrong with you that you did not rush forth when called [to aid] the Way of Allah? Or is it that you love this earth so much - that you crave its comforts so much - that you forget the next life where such earthly things are revealed for the insignificant comforts they are?" [9: 38]

"Fight against those who do not believe in Allah, or in The Last Day, and who do not forbid that which has been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, as well as those among the people of the book who do not acknowledge the Dien of Truth, and fight them until they pay the Jizya with willing submission." [9:29]

May Allah (SWT) protect us from all forms of Al-asabiyyah Al-Jahiliyyah, forgive us for our mistakes, and guide us to and keep us on the Right Path. Wa Allahu Alam.

Taliban Rejects Agreement With Afghan Puppet Government

.
KABUL – The Taliban has said that they will never accept any agreement with the Afghan puppet government or the West to bring “peace” to Afghanistan and their fighters would continue the battle to achieve victory or shaheed in His path.

In the international conference held in London, the munafiqeen Hamid Karzai invited the Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan to reconcile and discuss the future of Afghanistan, as well asking them to lay down arms in exchange for money and employments.

However, in a statement issued by the Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan on their official website on Thursday (4/2), they had vowed not to “conspire” with anyone.

The statement was not made specifically for Karzai alone. The Mujahideen rejected whatever peace talk before the entire invading forces walk out of Afghanistan.

"...if we ponder over the whole process of reconciliation, we see that it is no more than an eye-wash, designed to ostensibly show to the public of these countries who are against the war, that the power-that-be wants peace and an end to the current war. But, contrarily, Pentagon is at present making preparation for a new military operations in Helmand province, south Afghanistan. Similarly, they put forward conditions, which are tantamount to escalating the war rather than ending it. For example, they want Mujahideen to lay down arms; accept the Constitution and renounce violence. None can name this reconciliation," the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan said in another statement.
