Al-Jazeera : A Day With Ustadz Abu Bakar Ba'asyir

SOLO - Friday 20th February, Ustadz Abu Bakar Ba'asyir again received some guest journalists from Al-Jazeera. The TV and news network which has its headquarters in Qatar sent three reporters and a translator to the resident of Ustadz Abu Bakar Ba'asyir inside the complex of Ponpes (Madrassa) Al Mukmin Ngruki Sukoharjo.

Al-Jazeera made the day reportage beginning on Friday morning and did some interviews with Ustadz Abu. Friday morning before the subuh (dawn) the crews of Al-Jazeera had already begun to record the activities of Ustadz Abu, from the preparation for the dawn prayer congregation to the other series of Ustadz’s activities for the day. Several questions were posed for the Ustadz about the development of the Ngruki madrassa, as well as his opinions regarding the Islamic world at present.

There was something interesting the moment the crews were walking in the vicinity of the madrassa, they witnessed the students who were Mujahideen candidates from the madrassa doing some physical trainings in the river near the madrassa. The Al-Jazeera crews gave an applause and a ‘very good’ thumb sign to the students who were doing the physical training. This madrassa is still going and running even though it had been labeled as the “terrorist nest” by the international world.

Finally, the reportage ended approaching the Maghrib time, Al-Jazeera promised to send the product of the reportage to Ustadz Abu in a film format. Insha Allah the MuslimDaily will publish the reportage in the MuslimDaily video column.[md]

The Durban II Resolution Draft: Israel Is Racist, Israel Is An Invader

GENEVA - The Durban II resolution draft, which is the UN’s forum for handling racism, labeled Israel as an invading state that always make policies which are extremely racist.

The Resolution was focused to strengthen further the outcome of the second World Conference against racism, held in the Arab countries to condemn the behaviour of Israel all this time. The plan was to include America to participate in the meeting which will be organized in Geneva, Switzerland, this coming April.

In the statement publicized last week, the US planned to have a discussion regarding its view about the conditions that occurred in the world of late and promised not to act “inappropriately” in the meeting.

“This will become the first opportunity for the government of Obama to participate in the Durban negotiation in an attempt to show our commitment in diplomacy,” one of the delegates from the US State Department said.

Responding to this matter, Israel prepared to boycott the planned meeting.

US defence secretary Robert repeated his rhetoric in the Meeting participated by the defence ministers of NATO member countries. He said, the situation in Afghanistan had continuously exacerbated and the NATO mission was facing a great danger and threat. He urged them to send more troops to Afghanistan. However, the NATO ministers of defence turned down US request collectively and in one voice, saying that they were not ready to send more troops to Afghanistan.

They said, the NATO member countries were grappling with economic crisis. Moreover, public opinion in these countries are against the sending of troops to Afghanistan; they are not ready to see more corpses and wounded soldiers of the war in Afghanistan.

Due to the constant American insistence and pressure, even it was acceptable to the American side, at least, NATO should send troops for a limited period, i.e. for the security of the so-called presidential election of the Kabul government, if NATO was not ready to send more troops for a longer period. In their view, this will give a face saving achievement to the USA.

But NATO did not show willingness and readiness to fulfill this demand of Americans. However, Germany nominally promised to send 600 soldiers while Italy pledged to send 500 soldiers.

Political analysts of the world believe that American shuttle diplomacy at world level to obtain pledge from NATO countries for the dispatch of their troops, signify the moribund state of Washington, trying to use any and every wile and gimmick to achieve her targets but it always ends with failure and hopelessness. The reasons behind these are clear and understandable.

It is the American expansionist policy! Now all nations know American motives behind her occupation of countries of the world. Therefore, they do not allow the rulers to have their sons killed and see their economy in crisis for the sake of American interests.

Americans mercilessly shed the blood of the miserable and innocent Afghans during the past eight years and intentionally trampled down their Islamic and national values. 7600 Palestinian Children Kidnapped By The Zionists

Palestinian researcher, specializing in detainees' affairs, Awni Farawna, stated that the Zionist gangs have kidnapped a total of 7600 Palestinian children, males and females, since the year 2000; 246 children are still behind bars, International Middle East Media Center reported.

At least 200 of the kidnapped children were detained under administrative detention, without charges or trial. Some of the children were as young as 12 years old.

One detainee is now 13 months old as he was born behind bars. His mother, Fatima Al Zoq, was kidnapped while pregnant, and gave birth in prison while she was handcuffed and her legs were tied to the hospital bed.

Farawna stated that Israel's targeting of children is a policy that targets childhood and a healthy growth, and expressed concern over the fate of the detained children as they are subjected to different sorts of violations, including torture and isolation, which affects their growth, physical and psychological conditions, in addition to affecting their education.

Hundreds of children were cut off schools due to being imprisoned; hundreds of detainees were kidnapped when they were children and grew up behind bars. Many of them have spent more years behind bars than with their families.

Several detained children were sexually abused and violated by interrogators and soldiers, while a number of Israeli prisoners, held for criminal violations, also attacked them.

Farawna stated that international law and treaties regarding children forbid barring children from their freedom, forbid torturing and violating them.

Many children were arrested more than one time before they reached the age of 18; others were kidnapped as children, and grew up to be young men and women while they were in prison.

Several children who grew up in prison and were released later on are having difficulties in coping with the outside world; some became violent and tend to seek vengeance.

Farawna demanded international human rights groups to intervene and put pressure on Israel in order to oblige Israel to comply with international law and the fourth Geneva Convention.

Taliban's Shadow Forces

After the fall of the Taliban Islamic government, the American invasion of that country began in 2001. At present, the Taliban returns to reorganize the force of its paramilitary formation which was filled in for the most part by the Arabs and Asians. Before, it was known as the Brigade 005 and it got bigger and bigger with times. Its unit which is more effective in battles is known as Laskar al Zil or "the Shadow Forces", according to the reports by the senior intelligence of America.

The Shadow Forces is active mostly in the tribal regions of Pakistan, in the North West Province, and the East and South of Afghanistan.

These Shadow Forces are very trained and fully equipped, and it has been proven to be successful in defeating the Pakistani forces in a number of confrontations. Inside Pakistan, the Shadow Forces are successful in campaigning for the Taliban movement in the North and South Waziristan, Bajaur, Peshawar, Khyber and of course Swat.

In Afghanistan itself, which is the birth place of the Taliban, the Shadow Forces had repeatedly carried out operations on the coalition and Afghan forces in Kunar, Nuristan, Nangahar, Kabul, Logar, Wardak, Khost, Paktia, Zabul, Ghazni and the province of Kandahar.

The Taliban’s Shadow Forces is an instrumental combination of forces between the Taliban in the Tribal regions of Pakistan and the provinces in North Western border, the senior intelligence said. "They are also behind the success of the Taliban in the Eastern and Southern regions of Afghanistan. They are also instrumental in “entrapping” Kabul".

The Taliban fighters from Afghanistan and Pakistan have become a part of the integration that later formed this “Shadow Forces”, they are mainly from the Tehrik-e-Taliban and the Haqqani Network.

The Tehrik-e-Taliban is a Pakistani Taliban movement which was led by Baitullah Mehsud, the leader in South Waziristan who had defeated the Pakistani forces in a number of conventional confrontations. While the Haqqani Network work in the Afghan-Pakistani borders, this network was behind the series of attacks in Afghanistan.

In October 2008 it was reported that America had killed Khalid Habib al Shami who was the commander of the Shadow Forces. He was ‘shaheed’ due to the enemies’ sir strikes in North Waziristan.

The emergence of the Shadow Forces had become testimonies to the cooperation between the Taliban, Al Qaeda, Haqqani Netwrok, Hizb-i-Islami, Lashkar-e-Taiba, Harkat-ul-Jihad Islami and a few other Mujahideen groups that shared the same fikrah (ideology).

The uniform of these forces as we can see from the photos include face masks, a new type of shirts with trousers cut above the ankles, sport shoes and a web gear (similar to the soldier’s vest). One of its troops uses a Camelbak (backpacks for drinks). For weapons they use a type of AK-47 and some RPG’s.

According to the intelligence experts who were observing the development of this group, as seen from the way they wear their outfits, these fighters are non-Afghan. From the type of face masks that they wear, they could be found a lot in Pakistan, at the borders that are situated on the side of Pakistan, the sport shoes in the form of tennis shoes also indicated that they are non-Afghan fighters, most probably they are Pakistanis or Arabs or fighters who originated from the Central Asia, the intelligence experts said.

The Miracle Of Gaza : "White Uniformed Forces" Appeared In Gaza

The 22 days attack by Israel on the Gaza Strip is still telling some incredible stories. Some people claimed that those are the “ayaturrahman” (signs of God’s greatness) in the land of Jihad, the Gaza Strip. The Mujahideen recounted of how “another forces” in white attires appeared when the battle of Al-Furqan took place. Who are they?
The Arabic website, islammessage.com, wrote that an Al-Qassam Mujahideen reported about a house belonging to the family of Dardunah, which was situated between Jabal Al Kasyif and Jabal Ar Rais, or the Al Qaram road to be exact.

The Israel forces broke into the house, the entire family members were huddled and forced to sit in one space, one of the sons was interrogated and asked about the identities of the Al-Qassam fighters.

The boy answered that the fighters of Al-Qassam wear black uniforms. However, the soldiers were angry instead and beat him senseless, and that happened continuously for three days. Every time he was asked, the boy replied that the fighters of Al-Qassam wear black uniforms.

In the end the soldiers were enraged and said angrily, “Hey liar! They wear white uniforms!”

Another Palestinian citizen, recounted a different story about the “white forces” in multaqalqasami.com.

He disclosed that earlier there was an ambulance driver who was stopped by the Israeli forces. He was asked of which camp he belonged to, the camp of Hamas or Fatah? And the unfortunate driver answered, “I am not from any camp, I am just an ambulance driver,” he said.

However, the Israeli forces still asked, “The group in white uniforms behind you just now, which camp did they join?” The driver was puzzled as he was sure that he did not see anyone else behind him. “I don’t know” was the only answer he could give.

Then, who were the forces in white uniforms which always “haunted” the Zionist-Israeli forces?

"In Fear", When The Name Of Hamas Was Mentioned.

The Israeli military aggression for 22 days, did not bring any benefit to Israel, but big losses were what they got instead. Not only in the form of material, but also their mental had became weak and cowardly.

Dozens of trillions of dollars had been spent by them to stop the movement of Hamas in the Gaza Strip, but all those were wasted and in vain. And instead a tremendous fear was felt by thousands of Israeli citizens every time the name of Hamas was mentioned.

"More than 800 thousands Israel citizens felt the tremble in their hearts when the name of Hamas was mentioned in front of them, they would straight away leave and hide," one of the Israeli journalists said.

Besides the feeling of fear that always infect the Zionist Israeli citizens as a result of the inhuman aggressions of their military, Israel was also threatened by the crisis due to the huge amount of money they had spent for the war in Gaza.

"The cost of the Israeli military aggression in Gaza at least reaches 10.5 trillion dollars," an Israel reporter said.

The spokesman at the Palestinian Authorities Ministry of Prisoners Affairs, Riad al-Ashkar, revealed on Wednesday that the Israeli Prison Authorities (IPA) deliberately injected sick Palestinian prisoners with infected syringe needles and gave them poisonous medicines. The evilness of the illegal state, Israel, continues to be exposed, but who dares to try that terrorist country in court? Why is the international world, which includes the Muslim countries still putting hopes on the UN which is already sterile? Why is the Islamic world proud with the ‘nationalism’ which had caused them to be weak.

According to Ashkar, based on the trusted information from the Palestinian prisoners, a number of them who are doctors and know the different types of medicines given to them, affirmed that the Zionists injected the Palestinian patients with needles that are infected with dangerous virus such as the hepatitis.

In conjunction with this, Ashkar demanded the WHO and other medical groups to carry out an immediate and extensive investigation on this evilness of the Zionists.

A few years back, the head of the Israeli medicinal treatment section admitted that the government had used the Palestinian prisoners in Israel as guinea pigs to test the Israeli new medicines.

Ashkar also mentioned a number of cases of a few prisoners, including Usman Abu Kharaj, 38 years from Jenin who had been infected with hepatitis as a result of being injected with infected syringe needles.

Around 11 thousands Palestinian citizens are inside the Zionist prison cells. At least around 1500 of them suffered a variety of chronic diseases, according the Palestinian data.

Many times the evilness of the terrorist Israel made Gaza as place for testing their new unlawful ammunitions. Israel had used the white phosporous ammunition and DIME ( Dense Inert Metal Explosives) to kill the Palestinian citizens.

The evilness of Israel in this world is plain to see by the naked eyes. Its barbarism can be witnessed through the TV screens. But, the world is as if incompetent to try Israel in courts. The world council like the UN is already impotent and could not do anything. Strangely the UN is still depended upon by the Muslim rulers, who have long been collaborating with the main generator and supporter of Israel, the USA.

Then who would dare to judge Israel? Who would dare to try the true terrorist, Israel and America? Why still putting hope on the UN? Why are some Muslims still proud with the division caused by the nationalism? Why are they not wanting to unite under the one flag of Rasulullah SAW? The evilness of Israel and America will persist as long as the ummah are still acting as such.

True, there is only one solution. That hope rests on the shoulders of a new force which will unite all the Muslim nations under the one flag of Rasulullah SAW. It is the Khilafah Rashidah that will judge Israel and liberate mankind from the injustices and barbarism of the terrorist countries. When? Insha Allah it wont be far ahead. Only things, where is our position at present, as a spectator or the instigator for its establishment?

If only Islam is under one leadership (see Qur’an 4:59 ) then there wouldn’t be any kafir laughing seeing the Mukmineen being butchered.

What Is Israel's Goal In Gaza?

The first bombardment took three minutes and 40 seconds. Sixty Israeli F-16 fighter jets bombed 50 sites in Gaza, killing more than 200 Palestinians, and wounding close to 1,000 more.

A few hours after the deadly strike, Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert convened a press conference in Tel-Aviv. With Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni sitting on his right and Defence Minister Ehud Barak on his left, he declared: "It may take time, and each and every one of us must be patient so we can complete the mission."

But what exactly, one might ask, is Israel's mission?

Although Olmert did not say as much, the "mission" includes four distinct objectives.

The first is the destruction of Hamas, a totally unrealistic goal. Even though the loss of hundreds of cadres and some key leaders will no doubt hurt the organization, Hamas is a robust political movement with widespread grassroots support, and it is unlikely to surrender or capitulate to Israeli demands following a military assault. Ironically, Israel's attempt to destroy Hamas using military force has always ended up strengthening the organization, thus corroborating the notion that power produces its own vulnerability.

The second objective has to do with Israel's coming elections. The assault on Gaza is also being carried out to help Kadima and Labour defeat Likud and its leader Binyamin Netanyhu, who is currently ahead in the polls. It is not coincidental that Netanyahu's two main competitors, Livni and Barak, were invited to the press conference – since, after the assault, it will be more difficult for Netanyahu to characterize them as "soft" on the Palestinians. Whether or not the devastation in Gaza will help Livni defeat Netanyhu or help Barak gain votes in the February elections is difficult to say, but the strategy of competing with a warmonger like Netanyhu by beating the drums of war says a great deal about all three major contenders.

The third objective involves the Israeli military. After its notable humiliation in Lebanon during the summer of 2006, the Israeli armed forces have been looking for opportunities to re-establish their global standing. Last spring they used Syria as their laboratory and now they have decided to focus on Gaza. Emphasizing the mere three minutes and 40 seconds it took to bomb 50 sites is just one the ways the Israeli military aims to restore its international reputation.

Finally, Hamas and Fatah have not yet reached an agreement regarding how to proceed when Mahmoud Abbas ends his official term as president of the Palestinian National Authority on 9 January 2009. One of the outcomes of this assault is that Abbas will remain in power for a while longer since Hamas will be unable to mobilize its supporters in order to force him to resign.

What is clearly missing from this list of Israeli objectives is the attempt to halt the firing of Qassam rockets into Israel's southern towns. Unlike the objectives I mentioned, which are not discussed by government officials, this one is presented by the government as the operation's primary objective. Yet, the government is actively misleading the public, since Israel could have put an end to the rockets a long time ago. Indeed, there was relative quiet during the six-months truce with Hamas, a quiet that was broken most often as a reaction to Israeli violence: that is, following the extra-judicial execution of a militant or the imposition of a total blockade which prevented basic goods, like food stuff and medicine, from entering the Gaza Strip. Rather than continuing the truce, the Israeli government has once again chosen to adopt strategies of violence that are tragically akin to the one's deployed by Hamas, only the Israeli ones are much more lethal.

If the Israeli government really cared about its citizens and the country's long term ability to sustain itself in the Middle East, it would abandon the use of violence and talk with its enemies.

The Miracle Of Gaza : An Al Qassam Mujahid "Saved" By Al-Quran

An Israeli bullet failed to pierce the heart of an Al-Qassam fighter as it was obstructed by a mushaf Al-Quran which was always kept in his pocket.

Allah was again showing His sign (ayaturrahman) through an extraordinary incident. The incident was recounted by a few Jordanian doctors who became volunteers in Gaza.

Dr Hisam Az Zighah related the things that he had witnessed in Gaza during Jordanian Doctors Union Festival a few days ago. He showed some proofs in front of the journalist in the form of a projectile bullet, mushaf Al-Quran as well as a book of a collection of do'a’s, the Hishnul Muslim.

The story began with the arrival of one of the fighters who suffered wounds in the As Syifa' hospital, the doctor then did an examination. However, when the medical checkup was done, the doctor was surprised to find a piece of projectile bullet nestling inside the fighter’s pocket.

The hot metal failed to pierce the heart of the fighter as it was obstructed by a book of do’a and mushaf Al-Quran which were always inside the pocket of the fighter. The book of the do’a collection was holed, but only the front cover of the mushaf was damaged, whereas the shape of projectile itself was in a “clutter”.

Thus, Allah had shown His signs, through the fighters who are sincere and faithful. May Allah always give protection to His slaves who protect the religion.

Fragrant Scent From The Body Parts Of An Al-Qassam Fighter

Despite being shattered to pieces, the body of an Al-Qassam fighter emitted a fragrant scent, and it repeated 20 days after his death.

The family of Abdullah As Shani' was surprised at the smell of musk that dispersed inside the room where the body pieces of their son were laid, thus what’s reported in the syiria-aleppo.com website.

Abdullah As Shani' was a member of Al-Qassam sniper unit. He became the target of a rocket attack from an Israeli F-16 jet fighter, while he was in the security post in the western part of Gaza. It took two days to search for the body of this fighter. Evidently nothing was left out of his body except his head and chin, whereas the rest of his body parts were “crushed” by the Israeli rocket.

When hearing about the news, dozens of people who recognized this fighter with the kuniyah (nickname) “Abu Hamzah” came in droves to his residence and smelt the fragrant scent coming out from his body parts, which was placed inside a plastic bag in one of the spaces in his family’s house.

This phenomenon was not the only one, the family said that 20 days after his death, the fragrant scent returned to fill the same space.

As is known, Abdullah As Shani', was a Mujahid who did not like to show off his deeds, besides being a member of the sniper unit, he also became a field commander of Al-Qassam and a special officer for the HAMAS notable figures.

The Smile Of The Gazan Shuhada

How great a Shaheed is! In the hereafter he will obtain an extraordinary greatness. He does not leave this world except in an honorable rank. People cries, whereas the Shuhada smiles.

The happiness of witnessing his dwelling in paradise left a sweet smile in the lips of a Shuhada, like what we witnessed in the Shuhada’s below:

12 Secrets of Jewish Evil In The Holy Book

Islam is known as a permanent enemy by the Christians and Jews. Because of this, there will always be antagonism until the end of time.

The idea of establishing a Jewish state in the development of the Zionist movement, in actual fact was greatly influenced by Theodore Herzl. In his writing, Der Jadenstaat (Jewish State), he urged the world Jewish organizations to obtain consent from the Ottoman Turks as the rulers of Palestine, in order for them to be allowed to buy lands there. The Jews were only allowed to enter Palestine to perform ibaadah (worships), not as a community who had political ambitions (see: Palestine and The Arab-Israeli Conflict, 2000: 95). This decision triggered the movement of Radical Zionism. In line with the weakening of the Ottoman Turks’ influence, the immigrant Zionists flocked after successfully buying the lands in North Palestine. These big scale immigrations then turned into an occupation after they had managed to dominate the economy, social and politics in Palestine with the support of the British (Israel, Land of Tradition and Conflict, 1993:27).

With the end of the World War I, Britain successfully and easily took over Palestine. Sherif Husein in Makkah who was lobbied to revolt against the Turkish rule, also won success (1948 and After: Israel and Palestine, 1990:149). The Palestinians citizens were getting pushed aside and became targets of slaughtering (2000:173). The Zionist aggressions kept on going to this day, 360 villages and 14 towns inhabited by the Palestinians were destroyed and more than 726,000 souls have to become refugees in their own land.

Finally on Friday, 14th May 1948, the new state of Israel was declared by Ben Gurion, exactly 8 hours before the British was scheduled to leave Palestine. As a strategy to defend its subsequent security, it continued to stick and suck the US until they managed to scrounge a loan of 100 million U$D to develop nuclear armaments.

Elisabeth Diana Dewi in her scientific work, "The Creation of The State of Israel", detailed that philosophically, the state of Israel was formed based on three beliefs which could not be questioned.

a. The land of Israel is only given to God’s chosen race as a part of His promises to them.

b. The formation of a modern Israeli state is the biggest process in the liberation of the Jewish land.

c. The formation of the state is the solution to the sufferings of the Jews who had struggled in a scattered condition (diaspora) in their history. Therefore, snatching back all the lands which were promised to them in the Bible is equivalent to their sufferings for 3000 years. Due to that, all the non-Jews living in those lands are thieves and eligible to be eliminated.

The Jews in Al-Qur'an

The phenomenal facts at present which depict the Jewish arrogance, egotism and oppression towards the Muslims are lessons which should be taken from Allah’s words in the Qur’an: "And We gave (Clear) Warning to the Children of Israel in the Book, that twice would they do mischief on the earth and be elated with mighty arrogance (and twice would they be punished)!" (Qur’an.17:4). In the tafseer of Jalalayn, it was explained that the meaning of “fil ardhi” in the verse is the land of Sham which covers Syria, Palestine, Lebanon, Jordan and the surroundings.

Murder is not a strange thing in the history of the Jews. In fact even their Prophets, such as Prophet Zakariya and Prophet Yahya (John) were also killed. They also considered themselves as having successfully killed Prophet Isa (Jesus) and were proud of their efforts. But Al-Qur'an rejects it (Qur’an.4:157). This is one of the meanings of "the strongest in enmity towards the believers are the Jews and Mushrik" (Qur’an 5:82).

Their refusal of Allah’s promise (Qur’an 5:21-22) which ensured victory if they were to fight a battle along with Prophet Musa, proved that the Jews are actually a coward people, pessimistic, greedy for the world (riches) and choosing to live in humiliation more than dying in honor. In fact, the Qur’an 5:24 depicts that they did not need the promised land and they did not want to be free while they were still a group of stronger people living there. Thus they asked Prophet Musa and his God to go and fight alone.

Therefore, Al-Qur'an portrays that the hardness of a rock could not match the hardness of the hearts of the Jews, because there are rocks that could still split apart and let water out from it and there are those that still slide and fall because of their fear of Allah (Qur’an 2:74). The hardness of the hearts of the Jews are partly due to their hobby of listening to false reports and their eating from prohibited means (Qur’an 5:24).

12 Evilness of the Jews

In the book, "Qabaih al-Yahud" it was explained that the 12 evilness of the Jews are written down in Al-Qur'an. The evilness are as follows:

1. Accusing Prophet Musa of having a leprosy disease because he did not want to have a bath with them. (Qur’an 33:69)

2. Being reluctant to implement the Torah, that had caused Allah to raise over Mount Thursina to take their firm covenant. (Qur’an 2:93)

3. Not wanting to believe except if they see Allah directly. (Qur’an 2:55 and 4:153)

4. Altering the commandment which told them to enter the promised land while prostrating and saying the hithah, ie. praying for forgiveness. But they altered and disobeyed the commandment by creeping on their backside and said the hinthah, ie. a grain in the hair. (Qur’an 2:58-59)

5. Accusing Prophet Musa of flouting them when asked to slaughter the female calf. (Qur’an 2:67)

6. Writing the Al-Kitab with their hands then said that it was from Allah. (Qur’an 2:79)

7. Twisting their tongues in order to convince that what they read were the real revelations. (Qur’an 3:78)

8. Altering the Words of Allah. (Qur’an 2:75)

9. Worshiping the idol of a calf when left by Prophet Musa to obtain the Torah. (Qur’an 2: 51 and 92)

10. Saying that the hands of Allah are shackled. (Qur’an 5:64)

11. Accusing that Allah is a beggar. (Qur’an 3:181)

12. Demanded that Prophet Musa and his God fight a battle for them (QS.5:24)

Besides that, the personage of a Prophet which should have been made as a role model were instead abused and insulted. Prophet Ibrahim in Genesis article 12:10-16 and 20:1-14, was reported to be a lowly, disgusting person and greedy for wealth. He was accused of selling his beautiful wife for the sake gaining profits. Their holy book never tells that he was a courageous Prophet who destroyed the idols, called upon his father and his people to leave shirk though he had to be thrown into the fire. The same sad story also fell upon Prophet Luth. In Genesis article 19:30-38, he was reported to have committed adultery with both of his daughters in a state of drunkenness.

Islam is a permanent enemy for the Jews and Christians, because Islam is the one and only religion in which its holy book directly corrects the errors of the two religions. Akin to a smaller brother being courageous in exposing the errors of his two big brothers. Due to this, their envy would never extinguish and is still existent in their studies. An example of the intellectual envy is the claim that Al-Qur'an was very much influenced by the Hebrew words or phrases, such as expressed by Adnin Armas in his book "The Methodology of Bible in Al-Qur'an Study". This claim was made by Abraham Geiger (1810-1874), a rabbi and the founder of the Liberal Jews in Germany in his writings, "What had Muhammad borrowed from the Jews?"

Earlier, Imam Shafi’ie had already rejected such an accusation and enforced that Al-Qur'an was revealed in Arabic. It’s not impossible that all the words in Al-Qur'an are understood by all the Arabs, though there are some words that are not understood by some Arab. This is remembering that the ocean of the Arabic language is so extensive, not because the words did not come from the Arabic language but because the words that are said to be foreign had become Arabic, been known and used by the Arab society before the Al-Qur'an was sent down.

Strangely, this Geiger virus grows fertile in some parts of the ummah. The intrusion into the Islamic study and the growth of the ‘hermeneutical franchises’ to interpret Al-Qur'an in some parts of the higher learning institutions has the potential to weaken the aqeedah and ukhuwah. This phenomenon should be looked into by the leading figures in the ummah besides the fatwa of boycotting the Israeli and American products.

'Ulama Group' Told To Be Vigilant

The Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) has told the leaders of the recently organized transition leadership of National Ulama Conference of the Philippines (NUCP) to be vigilant and truthful in the pursuit of their agenda of “empowering the ulama” for the sake of Islam, the Muslim ummah, and humanity in general.

“The danger is that even if you have all the best intention in the world but if you are not vigilant and careful you end up being used to promote the interests of people or groups whose real intention is to destroy Islam in the name of Islam. You are now entering the realm of ‘political Islam’ which is alien to Islam but is largely used by anti-Islamic forces to malign Islam.”

This was the comment of Muhammad Ameen, chairperson of the MILF Secretariat, after the officers of the first national organization of Muslim religious scholars, the National Ulama Conference of the Philippines (NUCP) were sworn into office.

The swearing ceremony was officiated by former President Fidel Ramos, who is also active in the dialogues of civilizations.

The Philippine Council for Islam and Democracy (PCID) and the British and Dutch Embassies in the Philippines supported the Summit meeting in Quezon City on January 6-8, 2008.

Prominent Muslim scholars from Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Saudi Arabia attended the Summit.

The NUCP also approved their fundamental charter and by-laws and elected an interim Board of 15, with the women proportionately represented.

Ameen stressed that there is nothing wrong in empowering ulamas (learned men in Islam); in fact, he continued, Islam requires Muslims to organize themselves the moment they reach three in number.

But he reminded ulamas of the Hadith (Saying) of the Holy Prophet of Islam (peace be upon him) that there are two kinds of Muslims who will destroy Islam: An aleem (singular of ulama) who distorts Islam and an ignorant man who pretends to know Islam and interprets it.

He also said Islam is not only a religion but more of an ideology with the belief in the Oneness of God, Who alone is worthy of worship, as the center of all things and human activities.

Ms. Amina Rasul, chairwoman of the Philippine Council for Islam and Democracy and daughter of former Senator Santanina Rasul, is credited for spearheading the formation of this ulama group.

Meanwhile, an official of the MILF, who is also a scholar in Islam but requested anonymity, told luwaran.com/net that the time of Islam as the correct economic system, in contrast to capitalism and communism, has come.

He said the exploitation inherent in capitalism such as levying of interest in its banking system, hoarding, speculation, and monopoly is now showing its deadly results.

Communism, which prohibits private ownership of property, has already collapsed decades ago and Russia, China, Vietnam, the bulwarks of communism, have already adopted many features of capitalism into their systems.

The world economy is now on the road to collapse, and even the best economies like the United States, Japan, Germany, and China are feeling the brunt of the heat and there is no sure remedy for it.

Islam allows private ownership of property but balanced this socially by requiring him/her or companies to pay a certain zakat or poor’s due for that property or profit to be given to the poor or the marginalized.

Islam also prohibits usury, interests, speculation, hoarding, or monopoly. In banking, the bank and depositor share both in the profit or loss. Today, many banks, not only in Muslim countries but many in Europe and elsewhere, are adopting the profit-loss sharing system and it is proved to be very promising in lieu of the current banking system.

Allah’s Punishment On The 200,000 US Forces!

"A big nation is a nation that honors its soldiers", however, this expression is not happening in America because the US government is obviously not looking after the welfare of the hundreds of thousand of war veterans who were returning from the battle fields in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Aaron Glantz, a journalist focused his reports on the fate of the American war veterans who had served in Iraq and Afghanistan, revealed that currently there are around 200,000 Iraq and Afghan war veterans that had become jobless.

"Every night, 200,000 individuals who used to put on the uniforms and served the country, sleep in the streets as they are homeless," Glantz said.

He continued, "Imagine you are coming back from Iraq in a state of experiencing a post-trauma stress, suffering a mental injury, brain disruption or physical brain damage due to roadside bomb explosions. But the first thing that you have to do after returning is to be forced to fill in a 26 pages document to explain of how you could be injured, have you obtained a supporting statement from your friend in the battle filed and from your commanders (as a witness)."

According to Glantz, the US soldiers who had served in Iraq and Afghanistan, and suffered what they called post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) must prove that the injury and trauma they had suffered was really caused by war, not other normal accidents.

Glantz said that it was not only the Iraqi and Afghan war veterans who found it difficult to obtain compensation and health assurance, the same thing was also experienced by the Gulf War veterans that occurred in 1991. The American authorities instead conveniently called what is referred to as 'Gulf War Syndrome' suffered by the US forces, as non-existent and could not be diagnosed.

Glantz criticized the government of Bush as someone who had inflamed the war in Iraq and Afghanistan , but deserting the fate of its troops. "We could not forget the Iraqi and Afghan war veterans who had just returned into the midst of society. If we do not handle it now, the US would see the ever increasing statistic of its soldiers who are under stress, suffering mental disturbances and in the end committing suicide," Glantz stated.

Other than the 200,000 Iraqi and Afghan war veterans who had become vagrants, Glantz told that there are around 300,000 war veterans in the US that suffer the symptom of PTSD.
